My selfcare sunday/maintenance day routine

Eating clean as possible, thats a detox and light day

Wash and do a full haircare routine(pre-poo, shampoo twice, treatment, conditioner, leave-in, heat protection, style and oil)

Full body deep exfoliating

Shave just if i want to

Soft exfoliate, wash, dermaplain(shave), mosturize and layer serums for face skincare

Only loose and light clothes on that day

Fix the cuticles and paint the nails

Clean the bedroom if possible

Change bedsheets and pillow cases

Do a quick yoga session+meditation just to relax and prepare for one more week

Drink chamomile tea to calm down and sleep earlier

Gua-sha before bed

Pray thanking for another week and the beauty you've been blessed with

That's it for the day, being a hottie is a lifestyle and taking care of yourself is the prerequisite for this, luv ya🍵

Valeria had been gone for a few days. It wasn’t unusual for her to have to leave for business in the cartel - sometimes even for a month or two - but she always did whatever she could to still take care of her girl.

Usually that meant having multiple body guards with you at all times; her most trusted were never guarding her, only you. If she wasn’t extremely busy, she’d make an effort to call you whenever she could.

And if you were really lucky, she’d be able to video call with you before you went to sleep, so that you both could feel a bit less anxious, knowing the other was (at least somewhat) safe in bed.

This was one of those nights.

It was around midnight. Being worried about Valeria kept you up a lot, so it was relatively normal for you to be awake at strange hours of the night. Valeria had been radio silent for 13 hours at this point. Not unusual - still worrying.

You had finally gotten rid of the damn body guards when you went to take a shower, and now you decided to at least try to sleep. Heaven forbid the first thing your girlfriend greets you with is a scolding about taking care of yourself.

And as you climbed into the bed that still smelled like her, the soft blankets a bit colder than they usually would be, you were startled back to reality by your phone ringing.

Normally you’d ignore it, because anybody calling you at this hour could wait until morning. But that ringtone, meant Valeria. You nearly got whiplash from how quickly you jumped across the bed and answered the call, but it was well worth it when you saw the tired grin on her face, and her eyes visibly softening at the sight of your face.

“You must not have been sleeping mi vida, you nearly answered before I even called,” she said, the exhaustion in her voice being gradually replaced with amusement.

You got settled back down on the bed as you responded, “I was just laying down. Are you okay?”

She chuckled, and rolled over onto her stomach, and set her phone down propped against the pillow.

“I’m alright, I should be home very late tomorrow or very early the next morning. How is it in Las Almas?” She asked, really just wanting to hear you talk after your time apart.

“Normal, but the bodyguards are a bit pesky. I wish I could be there with you instead,” you admitted, and blushed seeing the amused smile on her face. You didn’t imagine she’d ever have any less of an effect on you.

“I wish I could be there with you as well cariño, but not here. I need you safe, pretty girl. So tolerate the pesky bodyguards for me, hm?” She asked.

You nodded, the weight of the danger she could be in returning at the mention of keeping you safe. She could see it in your face, and frowned a bit.

“I love you very much mi vida. And I will be home to you very soon. Now you need to get to sleep, I will be taking you on a date when I get home, even if I get home at midnight. You want to be awake for that, yeah?” She asked, her usual grin coming back.

And you couldn’t help but smile at her promise, nodding. “Will you stay on the call or do you have to go?” You asked, a bit shy. She rolled onto her side, and pulled the blankets up to her shoulder. “I will stay on this call until I have to get up in the morning. Sleep well cariño.”
