Summary: Lewis and his "real-life Barbie" girlfriend Y/N Y/L/N have a secret they keep from the fans. Though it's only matter of time before they announce the happy news... it's not like it can stay hidden forever anyways.

Author's Note: After quite some time, hello! I'm so sorry this took so long, but life has been so busy and hectic last month I simply didn't have time and energy to write this sooner. Though I'm very glad for everyone who waited for this part and I hope you'll like it. It's probably not the last one, I have few ideas for more parts. But I don't want to promise anything, we all know how long this part took XD.

TADC cast comforting the reader!

i know i said i have a character limit (and technically ive already broken it for the creepypasta version of this post and similar posts in this category) buuuuuut admins personal writing gets to twist the rules a little bit/j/lh and also i dont want to make multiple posts for this prompt soooooooooo writing this while im waiting to make my silly money on a roblox tycoon yall know how it is :3 uuuuuuh might have more typos than usual simply because that wave of sleepiness is hitting but also i wanna finish my tycoon so NEVER BACK DOWN NEVER WHAT

CAINE:

i think he might try too hard in trying to get you to feel better. likely overwhelms you but he doesnt have ill intent (though that doesnt change much, youre still overwhelmed) so you might have to be firm in having him reel things back to a level that works for you. i think he would ask you whats wrong, as well as get anything he thinks he would help you feel better (drinks, blankets... hell before you can process anything hes probably got you buried in loads of things)... hes got the spirit but his intensity is... well intense.. torn between him being a decent listener because on one hand i can see him being hooked on every word you say and talking over you in an attempt to find a solution right then and there.... 6/10 i love caine but i get overwhelmed/overstimulated easily

POMNI:

does not know what to do when someone around her it upset, much less crying... i think she would put on this really weird... awkward... forced smile to try to lessen the tension in the air (failing at it, mind you) and try to pat your back... asks if you want to talk about it... a really good listener, actually. a better listener than a comforter, her solutions are so-so, they're what you expect from someone who doesnt want to accidentally overstep but nonetheless still cares about how you feel. at least you can count on her being totally no judgement, too... lets you talk to her for as long as you need, giving a nod and affirmation that she is in fact listening 8/10

RAGATHA:

very similar to pomni in regards to being a great listener, but i think ragatha would also be a great comforter as well as solution giver! lets you come into her room, gives you one of her nicer blankets to curl under while she lets you unload onto her. if someone is being mean to you or something is frustrating you, ragatha offers to give you a hand to find a solution to make things easier for you. offers to confront the person for you, though she does vaguely urge for you to build yourself up to try to speak up for yourself in the future. of course, if you ever need anyone ragatha is going to be there for you but she would also love to see you stand up for yourself. builds you up, probably gives peps talks! 8.5/10

JAX:

more often than not its going to look like hes disinterested or flat out not listening... which if it were just about anyone else that might really be the case.. buuuuuut what if you were one of his friends, or perhaps a partner? i think he would at least throw in a yeah.. which i think for how i typically write jax means something. one of those "if he didnt actually care he wouldnt be responding at all" and yeah sure its the bare minimum... i think every now and then he might just say screw it and throw his act out the window start shit talking... usually if theres someone to shit talk, you know if someone has made you upset or something... i think he would make them a target for his pranks... usually tries to play everything off as something light or unimportant but as long as its you, he is listening and he is going to at least make an attempt to do something about it... just dont bring it up 4/10 because personally it would make me feel worse shrugs

KINGER:

well i dont know how dad/energy having people can be comforting because my dad is emotionally distant/lh but i think he would let you come into his pillow fort... or if you dont want to be in a space so small he would let you come into his room, or he might take you out on a walk around the grounds. i think he would be more of a listener than anything else, nodding and humming to let you know hes listening. when theres pauses in your speaking he tries to offer some advice which can be pretty hit or miss. i think he would give you a hug, if you asked for one... if you want a distraction he will launch into a ramble about insects and other things! trails off to ask how youre doing every now and then, usually makes him lose his spot in the previous conversation thus starting a new one... will talk for hours 7/10 but im biased for kinger

ZOOBLE:

distant but not in the way jax is, zooble just has trouble expressing some of their emotions. jax just doesnt like showing any care or vulnerability. but zooble might let you stay in their room if youre crying or otherwise outwardly distressed. might let you sink down into one of their bean bag chairs... kind of just opens up a vent session with asking if you want to talk shit, or to just get angry. i think they can deal with someone being angry and irritated than a crying person because at least then they can apply their own irritation for it and put themselves in the other persons shoes. really you two just bounce and build each other in this scenario, kind of just letting off steam that should have been released far sooner... i dont know about you guys but its refreshing 8/10

GANGLE:

might get upset with you if youre really upset.. or maybe upset for you? i think she might be able to feel a lot for those she cares about deeply, so while it might look like shes trying to hijack the moment for herself, shes just crying FOR you.. lets you use her art supplies to make vents or to simply scribble. another big listener, i think she would try to give advice but... given that gangle herself has no spine (figuratively and literally) i think its... not the best advice... like the kind of stuff you try to affirm to yourself to get through a hard day, usually those affirmations.... dont work...but hey theres an effort! i mean at least she makes sure you feel heard and listened to, which is at least a little better than jax soooooo 5.5/10

A SONG THAT I THINK FITS DEMOMAN!!!!!!

ok so the song is Drunk my The Living Tombstone

Whats the song about? It's about a man who walks into a bar to drink with his friends, but he begins to drink more and more and it becomes more unhealthy and he ends up overdrinking and having an addiction to drinking and not being able to stop.

Does that sound familiar? I know it does!

Reminds me of Demoman if you ask me!

Lets start with the instrument of the song... The instrument is funky , upbeat, and chaotic-like, giving me Demoman vibes! It just fits Demoman's personality and who he is in general, a chaotic lil guy!

Now lets go to the lyrics...Ohh boyy...What do I start with..

"Just four drinks, y'know, take the edge off I've had a hard week, I deserve to get sauced!"

Demoman works 3 jobs and doesn't want to get more but his mom would contantly be the little bitch she is and yelling at him to get more just because his dad did, even if he gets lot of money a year... He works so hard and has hard weeks 100% (He needs a long break dude,,,)

"Feel so much better than usual I feel indisputable!"

This and other lines in the lyrics about alcohol addiction just feels like Demoman's situation, one of the reasons (and probably main) is because alcohol helps him with his missing eye, replacing it for him kinda. So I would say that would quite fit in that as well.

"Was I just feeling bored? Am I that insecure?"

This reminds me of Demoman's insecurity about his missing eye, the poor dude even cried when he visitted eye museum with soldier in WAR! comic panel

"I'm gonna hate myself tomorrow then I'll do it again."

Despite Demoman drinking too much (and definetely gets hangovers lot) he would still do it again even if it's affecting him badly to the point his body even started making alcohol, yikes...

I dont know how to explain the rest of the song but the whole song fits Demoman in general. From instrument to lyrics... (Please put this song in y'all's demoman playlist I'm begging you /nf /lh)

I love that “She borrowed the identity of an old artist friend she hadn’t seen or spoken to in years and used her psychic powers to convince the hiring committee at a major university to let her teach an art history class and make the class a mandatory requirement for all incoming art majors and have it fulfill the school’s general education fine arts requirement (just in case her nephew decided to change majors)” is a single sentence. It just adds to the single-breath, maniacal rambling feel of Nerissa’s inner monologue

Oh, Nerissa. You can’t just tell people everything they do is perfect. That’s not how a relationship grows, or even functions. The lack of self-awareness in her perspective is both gorgeously written and utterly heartbreaking. She probably hasn’t had a single person in her life to learn healthy coping mechanisms or relationships from. I never thought you’d show us someone who was worse than Natheniel, but she’s giving him a run for his money

Chainsaw Man manga spoilers (major spoilers)

Some of my thoughts of the series since it’s been on my mind a lot lately

I know that the anime had a couple differences from the manga, not that much I think. But my biggest gripe is that they changed Future Devil’s line from this

Now. I love Future Devil’s personality here way more than in the manga, but it changes a lot of the mystery and importance of this line. They made it sound a little trivial when this line is so important, because they bring it up again when Aki dies.

If they change it to “Hayakawa Aki... Your death fucking ruled” or something, I’m just gonna 💀

Anyways, another thing. While I was looking through chapters for this, I landed on the chapter where Makima goes on a date with Denji and watches a lot of movies, right?

It kind of hits different after the chapter where Pochita tells Denji to give lots of hugs, so that he can fulfil the Control Devil’s dream to have relationships where she can be equal to others. I don’t know, this artist’s short comic(?) of Makima just kind of makes me sad and it’s been on my mind for the past few days.

Lastly, chapter 116 💀

That has been the most content(?) I’ve gotten in the past 2-3 chapters. Denji telling Asa he reminds her of Power 😭 Then this fucking moron does this

Does the agency not pay Denji??? At least for his food but like. How about... more? I mean, can’t he at least work for them still?? Maybe it’s for him to lay low as his reputation as CSM but like...? You got a high schooler on payroll to stalk Denji but can’t give an extra cent for Denji so he can get Nayuta to college?

Last note, I like how Fujimoto draw’s people when they’re really happy. It’s kind of realistic? It sounds silly, but it’s like how you took a picture by accident and its a photo of someone's face transitioning to another expression, ending up looking silly, if that makes sense?

I think it’s unique and stands out a lot in a good way. Especially when his art style is like, kind of stiff? Not in a bad way, but it really makes moments like these stand out a lot more as they’re a lot more expressive. I find it really endearing and it changes every time he draws it. I hope it doesn’t sound silly but I just really like Fujimoto’s art style a lot

You’re in luck because Collin does indeed 😏

First off it would take a LOT for him to even consider proposing to anyone. Keep in mind Spamton’s major abandonment issues, the fact he’s been alone and living in a dumpster for 20+ years, and his fear of losing autonomy. Being committed to someone would terrify him considering how it ended in the past. Heck now that I’m thinking about it, I’m not sure he’d ever even want to marry, I think he’d be content simply being close to his partner.

But because I love sappy romance scenarios I’m going to think about what he’d do anyway 😏 Once he’s really, really close to his partner, he’d be thinking about of how he’s going to propose to them for weeks, if not months! He’d want it to go perfectly - something fitting for a suave big shot like him, though I don’t imagine he’d want it to be some huge public spectacle. I think because it’s such a serious and meaningful commitment for him, he’d prefer something more private and personal.

I imagine he’d take them out for a date night! Drive around town in his Cungadero (by that I mean his beat up half-working junkyard car), go to a nice restaurant (he saved up his money for it) and ride on Cyber City’s Ferris Wheel with them. He’d be suspiciously jittery and sweaty the whole time. Like way more than usual. He’d also be fighting his ad tics the entire time in an attempt to prevent them from accidentally giving away his plan too early.

He’d pull out a ring that he definitely didn’t pay for and say something stupid and spamton-y like “WILL YOU ACCEPT THIS [[Deal of a Lifetime]]?” <3

- Two words, Sore. Losers. They lost? No they didn’t. Best 2 out of 3. Crank and Misfire take losses the worst.

- Wins however? Spinister and Misfire do not shut up about it. Especially if you’re generally the one to beat them at the game.

- Spinister’s favourite game is snakes and ladders, although he makes boards the length of you so that he can spend more time sitting with you and chatting (he will not admit the latter)

- He can be a little clumsy with small pieces, but he also loves how they look. Will assign you a small human figure that reminds him of you.

- If you begin to win consistently he will accuse you of cheating (whether you did or not) and will become pouty, let him win a few just in case.

- shit at any card game. He will start fights over them with the others in the group, but never with you, he knows you are too squishy to be thrown around. He did square up to Fulcrum however.

- hates scramble with a passion

- Misfire’s favourite game is sorry. He loves the idea of fucking you in more ways then one the game.

- Is the only one to actually try and cheat in games. Although he has a terrible poker face. His main tell is tapping his foot or chewing on his lip.

- Misfire HATES losing. That’s why he cheats, howeveerrr if you promise him that you’ll sit in his lap while you play a board game maybe he won’t get upset when you win.

- He secretly loves seeing you win, the way your face lights up and you slide over the shanix you both bet at the start of the game. He uses the money to buy you something nice don’t worry.

- cries for hours if he loses to Spinister

- Crankcase loves monopoly. He’s a smart guy! And although he’s not charming like Misfire or as gentle as Spinister, Crank likes to think he can be a good con man when he needs to be. The game goes as far as real life bargaining.

- You get to fly the ship for an hour if I get your railroad, I’ll carry you for a whole day if you let me buy your properties. So on and so forth.

- He uses the opportunity to become closer to you and fluster you. Maybe getting a tad raunchy with his deals- but beat him at the game and his cocky attitude goes flat.

- if you win consistently his ego might be bruised, but give him a kiss in the cheek and he’s feeling much better than before.

- Best poker face out of the whole group

Ken calls me his "sweet, divine, beautiful girl" (while counting the adjectives on his fingers, for emphasis) but he says "sweet girl" for short. I got the idea because Margot Robbie said in a very early Barbie press interview "Ryan improvised a line during the 'sublime' scene where he instead shouted... what did he say? 'My sweet girl'!" and I thought to myself "ohhh that's so perfect!!!" I always love implementing nicknames with my main F/Os and making them special. I love "baby" "sweetheart" "darling" etc etc but I REALLY have such a soft spot for nicknames that F/Os would call me and nobody else, something that's personal to them, and vice versa. I thought it was perfect. I like the idea of Barbie calling me that too ;u; sounds so lovely in her voice.

But later when the behind the scenes footage was released in iMax theaters, the phrase he shouted was actually "my divine girl", not sweet girl like Margot had said. But I had gotten SO ATTACHED to being Ken's Sweet Girl™ for two months, I didn't want to change it, couldn't even consider it. I decided to just add to it... "sweet, divine" girl, but he'd still just say sweet girl most of the time for short. Problem solved. BUT THEN I had a dream shortly after, where he was teary-eyed, holding me, sobbing "my beautiful girl, my beautiful girl". And I woke up immediately fueled with the power of ten thousand suns saying "okay so I'm Ken's sweet, divine, beautiful girl. got it. got it. cool, coolcoolcool, so cool." We'll see if a fourth adjective comes into play someday 😂😂

YOU'RE SOOO RIGHT!!!! he's genuinely such a multifaceted character??? like he's not just given the grumpy or bossy character archetype and simply made to be the killjoy amongst a bunch of zany, wacky characters, but he himself also gets to be zany and wacky while also being the occasional grumpypants (and understandably so, for the most part.) he has well-defined passions n anxieties, and we're shown just how much he cares abt his friends n family--despite his occasional outbursts--and that's so important to me honestly.

what is something that could make Eclipse's relationship with his brothers worse? or even possibly break it?

I can... I can sadly think of many scenarios where it could get worse, but I need to know.

The thing is - you say you can think of many scenarios, meanwhile my brain is currently drawing blanks. Maybe it's just that I don't want to entertain the idea, because I always want them to get better, so all I can think of would be... severely out of character?

They love each other. Despite everything, their rocky start, the misunderstandings, the tension... None of that ever got to the love they have for each other.

Anything driving that wedge in further would be outside influence, or circumstantial, not intentional or by choice.

Like - I thought perhaps the agency might just outright ban them from contacting each other to prevent data leaks, but... I don't think Sun and Moon would have accepted the job then? A transfer, fine, they need some distance, but not no contact kind of distance. (And that... That actually might make it better. Because Eclipse saw how genuinely enthusiastic his brothers were, but as soon as that condition is dropped on them, they decline immediately? Seems like they do care, after all)

If Sun and Moon were a little more tone deaf, it could have been that once they started sharing stories about Y/N/ Robin they still didn't engage much otherwise (but they do! As soon as activity in the group chat picks up, they all text more, and react more to what the others sent!), giving the impression that they only care about their shiny new friend, and not Eclipse. That would have been a surefire way to push him away - so they only need someone to brag about having friends to, huh?

The promotion arc alt timeline actually would be the closest to canon that involves a direct negative effect on their relationship. Finding out Sun and Moon kept that kind of secret (albeit with good intentions) did not sit well with Eclipse, and that drabble left out the entire conversation between Eclipse and Sun, with Eclipse tearing into him (and Moon) for being stupid, patronizing, and frankly, insulting. And look what happened - because Eclipse immediately started relating to Robin, which just made his anger worse. The boys really fucked up in that one, and it will take/ took (since the drabble ends after a timeskip) a lot of fixing that, not just with Robin, but also Eclipse.

(He knows they have that savings account. He's gotten money from it for repairs often enough - but that it's a savings account specifically for him, and that they accepted a promotion they didn't want to accept for the pay raise but didn't even tell him hurts. Makes him feel like a burden, not a brother.)

As for completely breaking it? I either can't or won't think of anything. Like, nothing just pops up in my mind making me go "Oh yeah that'd fuck them up", but I'm also not particularly motivated to think of something? Even if a fight makes one side completely withdraw, I don't think the other side would ever stop trying to fix things. They're all so stubborn, after all.

Of course in reality it's completely valid to go NC after being hurt, even if the offending party regrets it and tries to apologize/ make amends - you don't owe anyone forgiveness. But my focus is simply hope, and family, and getting better - so that's the story these brothers get, too <3
