The Glasshouse
Did you know there is also a video?!
youtube
And to finish off this location, let's have a look at the living and dining rooms, along with the kitchen!!
Built in the 1940s this single story ranch style home is absolutely huge considering it never had a basement but was still about 3500 square feet! It sat on about two and a half acres and because of the large property it was ripe for redevelopment.
The home had likely been owned by an investor since they were trying to subdivide the property since the early 2000s but had been denied. The house was rented out on and off for years which likely led to the lack of maintenance seen throughout.
At some point, it looks as though they had thought about renovating, getting as far as tearing out the kitchen and removing some of the wall coverings. Ultimately the project stalled and the house was listed for sale, selling a short time later.
The home was unfortunately demolished shortly after my visit and the new owners submitted an application to build a new single story home in its place which was approved. A sad end for this once beautiful 80ish year old home!

everybody jokes about tech companies having names like Gribb.lr, but I posit that those are only a small corner of the market, and that what you're really looking at, especially when it comes to SaaS and PaaS stuff, is names that are two 1-2 syllable words smushed together.

I always thought Stupid Cupid would be on the same level as Red Velvet in terms of popularity! In your opinion which real group would you assign for your fic groups in those terms?
AINE ! ⠀ › ⠀ SAYS. omg you're being too nice anon!! i think red velvet is wayyy up the scale when looking at stupid cupid's popularity– took me a hot second to cook something up, but under the cut, you'll find all of my important groups / ocs ( including both npc & under co. groups! ) and their popularity based on irl kpop groups!
first, we have lilypad, aka the saviours of glasshouse! i'd definitely say that they're on par with kara! they've been releasing bops from the getgo, and have been doing so until their unfortunate ( or fortunate in this case ) disbandment, so kara would be the best group to mention in this case, especially when back in 2009, glasshouse only had crumbs and a handful of trainees to go with.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
next on the list is raevil, aka the dead women walking! raevil = twice, and you can't prove me wrong!! the fact that each member comes from a different country just goes well with the public ( international more than domestic, bc we all know how knetz are about these types of things ), and they for sure know how to charm people to at least listen to their songs occasionally. their popularity grew as time passed, so raevil being on the same scale as twice right now would be a plausible answer!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
sorry to disappoint you, anon, but stupid cupid's popularity goes lower than red velvet's– i'd say ive or kepler would be more of an appropriate answer, especially because everyone can clearly see the favouritism in stcp ( looking at tomie ). it's a good thing that their discography is full of mostly cute songs, otherwise, i don't think stupid cupid would've been supported this much if it their concept was anything else... i imagine them being compared to lilypad a lot if they had a different concept, and they'd kind of flop. yeah, their fandom is definitely smaller compared to raevil's, but they have some crazy ass fans out there ( think orbits during that twitter era )–
Tumblr media Tumblr media
at the beginning of their career, i surely saw nextone go hand in hand with stray kids based on popularity, especially because prdx had a different concept from any other artists from the company, were their first bg and they were promoted a lot during their pre-debut era by stupid cupid. however, after the whole scandal happened with one of the members and they went on a hiatus for a year, the hype kind of died down, so now i'd say they're kinda like monsta x / the boyz!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
hero is 4th generation's taemin! of course, his popularity slowly grew as he went through a shitty survival show, but once he actually debuted as a soloist, the fandom significantly grew, and it's still growing as time goes by. there's a reason why he's called an all-round and ace of kpop! although, if you asked him, he'd deny being that popular, but the receipts don't lie, nor do his album sales that get sold out after every comeback!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
and last but definitely not least, we have crystyle! && just like everyone expected, i imagine them to have the same popularity as got the beat! they also have some similarities; as they're both project groups with members from different groups ( or are soloists ), so saying they have the same popularity as got would be true. not only that, but each member has their own fandom that just combined in the end to support the girls as a group!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
and that's it ( for now )! come back later if there are any updates to this~

Australia farm tractor market trends and opportunities
The market for tractors in Australia is anticipated to expand at a CAGR of 3.43 % between 2022 and 2028.
Australia has more than 25.8 million food consumers and is one of Oceania's major food markets. In terms of agricultural and industrial output, the country has experienced a significant expansion in farm mechanisation. Because to its adaptable operation characteristics, the 50-100 HP category had the greatest market share in 2021.
Government programmes and attempts to facilitate lending and enhance agriculture-related activities are the primary growth drivers for the agricultural tractors industry in Australia. In September 2020, the agricultural ministry of the nation issued the national agricultural innovation policy statement, a vital component of the National Agricultural Innovation Agenda of the Australian Government. A world-class agricultural innovation system is a government objective and a crucial component of Achieving Ag2030, which supports the industry's target of a USD 100 billion sector by 2030.
Major Highlights
In 2021, the agricultural tractor market in Australia increased by 33.3% compared to 2020. The recovery from the COVID-19 epidemic was aided by excellent monsoon rains in 2020 and 2021, which increased crop productivity and tractor sales.
In terms of agricultural acreage, the country is one of the largest in the APAC area. There are 30,9 million hectares of arable land in the country, which makes it an expanding market.
Due to the relatively slow growth of agricultural exports, the Australian government is trying to double the amount and value of agricultural goods exported by 2025. The government is picking regions based on their existing export food production and their potential to boost output via the implementation of new institutional changes.
Australia's farmers are rich and can afford to purchase agricultural gear such as tractors. Also, the country's farmers benefit from simple agriculture finance for the purchase of agricultural gear.
In 2020, the country imported tractors worth USD 1.01 billion, with the United States accounting for 37.8% of imports, followed by Germany.
Around one-third of the agricultural machinery sector in Australia is comprised of exports. On almost one-third of Australia's agricultural area, wheat is cultivated; wheat is the top crop with a 58% share, followed by barley and canola.
Australia sold USD 39.6 million worth of tractors in 2020, with New Zealand accounting for 70.0% of Australia's total exports of tractors, followed by Bolivia and Peru.
Market Trends and Opportunities
Use of More Energy-Efficient Tractors Is Growing
The AgriStarters initiative seeks to enhance the living circumstances of agricultural supply chain members and offer critical equipment in a sustainable manner. This goal is in addition to the previously declared objective of reducing overall glasshouse gas (GHC) emissions by 40 percent by 2030 and to zero by 2040. Use of energy-efficient tractors will achieve these goals and contribute to the expansion of the Australian tractor market.
Use of Non-Traditional Fuels in Tractors
The agricultural tractor industry in Australia is experiencing a surge in demand for tractors powered by various fuels. The fluctuating cost of conventional fuels such as diesel has an effect on tractor sales. Hence, manufacturers are focused on the development of tractors that run on alternative fuels; tractors that operate on liquefied natural gas (LNG), compressed natural gas (CNG), propane, diesel, and kerosene are now available. Also, rising environmental concerns fuel the market for biodiesel tractors. Nonetheless, farmers increasingly choose them because to their very cheap operating costs and low maintenance requirements.
Agricultural Equipment Technology on the Australian Tractor Market
Using a GPS tracker, telematics enables agricultural tractor operators to precisely monitor their fleet of vehicles and trucks. It collects data from agricultural equipment operating in a field and transmits it in real-time to the internet.
Robotic sowing and weeding technology aid in determining the precise amount of pesticides a crop need. It is extraordinarily precise and decreases pesticide use by 90%. It aids farmers in preventing and controlling herbicide-resistant weeds.
AI assists in analysing plant health, soil condition, temperature, and humidity, among other factors. It enables farmers to make better decisions by understanding sensor-collected data about the field's surroundings.
Competitive Environment
John Deere and Case IH have a combined market share of over 30% in Australia's tractor market. More than 40 percent of the market share for agricultural tractors in Australia is held by the top three competitors, which poses a significant competitive threat.
John Deere introduces a new Electric Variable Transmission for certain 8 Series Tractors and a new JD14X engine for 9 Series. The EVT enables electric power production, a future method for the industry to utilise the power supplied by tractors for implements.
In March of 2021, CNH Industrial teamed with Monarch Tractors, an American agri-technology business. The alliance will enhance long-term sustainability and increase farmer knowledge of the significance of zero-emission agriculture. Looking for agriculture and farm finance and loans Australia wide? Orchard lending finance brokers can assist with all types of farm and agriculture loan financing, with flexible security and unsecured options.

Food shortages due to 'supermarket culture', says Leon co-founder
PA Media
By Michael Race
Business reporter, BBC News
The government’s food tsar has blamed Britain’s “weird supermarket culture” for shortages of certain vegetables.
Henry Dimbleby said “fixed-price contracts” between supermarkets and suppliers meant that when food is scarce, some producers sell less to the UK and more elsewhere in Europe.
But the body that represents supermarkets denied that business was hampered by such contracts.
Several supermarkets have limited sales of fresh produce in recent weeks.
Tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers are among those vegetables in scarce supply, largely because of extreme weather affecting harvests in Spain and North Africa.
Shortages are said to have been compounded by high energy prices impacting UK growers, as well as issues with supply chains.
They also come as households are being hit by rising prices, with food inflation at a 45-year high.
As an example of “market failure”, Mr Dimbleby, who advises the government on food strategy in England, said UK lettuce prices in supermarkets were kept stable, regardless of whether there was a shortage or over supply.
He said this meant farmers could not sell all their produce when they had too much – or be incentivised to grow more.
“If there’s bad weather across Europe, because there’s a scarcity, supermarkets put their prices up – but not in the UK. And therefore at the margin, the suppliers will supply to France, Germany, Ukraine,” he told the Guardian newspaper.
Why is there a shortage of tomatoes?
How far is Brexit to blame?
But Andrew Opie, director of food and sustainability at the British Retail Consortium (BRC), which represents UK supermarkets, said retailers were “pragmatists and recognise they need to pay more when costs are high and product is short”.
“They’re working with growers every day,” he added.
Mr Opie said regulation for supermarkets in many European countries meant retailers there were “able to, and actually required” to pass on extra costs to customers.
“Whereas UK retailers are doing everything they can to insulate consumers from rapidly rising prices meaning cutting their margins and negotiating on behalf of customers to keep prices as low as possible,” he added.
He said importing tomatoes and lettuces from abroad during the winter allowed supermarkets to offer customers “best value for money”.
Mr Dimbleby, however, said he found the current situation “frustrating” because “everyone is suddenly worried about a gap of vegetables in February, when there are much bigger structural issues”.
“There’s just this weird supermarket culture,” he said. “A weird competitive dynamic that’s emerged in the UK, and nowhere else in the world has it, and I don’t know why that is.”
He added it was a “very difficult one for the government to solve”.
Minette Batters, president of the National Farmers’ Union (NFU), told the BBC that some producers were on contracts that could be renegotiated to factor in higher production costs – but not all of them.
PA Media
“The fact that these contracts in many cases are not fit for purpose and if you’re not getting a fair return for what it is costing you, you’re going to contract your business,” she said.
“It’s why we are seeing many of the glasshouses across the country mothballed. They should be producing high quality food, peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers, to deal with this shortage.”
The NFU president said the war in Ukraine had changed the outlook for food security, but added she had been told previously by ministers and officials that “food grown on our land is really not important at all, we are a wealthy nation and we can afford to import it”.
“I think that is now looking naïve in the extreme,” she said. “We’ve got huge capability here to be producing more of our fruit and vegetables.”
The government said that while there were some issues with fresh vegetable supplies, the UK “has a highly resilient food chain and is well equipped to deal with disruption”.
“We meet regularly with representatives from the entire food system – from farm to fork – to discuss how we can respond to emerging situations impacting the supply chain quickly and effectively,” a spokesperson said.
Mr Dimbleby criticised the government last year and said ministers had only taken on half of his recommendations from a landmark review of Britain’s food system.
He told the Guardian that food shortages would not be resolved until ministers looked at what he outlined in his food strategy.
Last year, the UK faced a shortage of eggs, with supermarkets limiting how many customers could buy.
The BRC said at the time that a variety of factors including avian flu and the cost of production had hit supplies – but some farmers blamed retailers for not paying a fair price.

Growing Foxgloves from Seed
https://www.thompson-morgan.com/growing-foxgloves-from-seed
Terence Baker describes the methods he uses to propagate plants for the National Collection.
The Foxglove (Digitalis purpurea), so much a part of the British countryside, is perhaps one of the few native plants to be well received in gardens. They do seem to have the ability to spring up almost unnoticed, that is until their towering flower stems dominate the garden. Once there, few gardeners have the heart to remove them, thus insuring more in future seasons, for Foxgloves are great seeders.
Digitalis purpurea is just one species of a genus containing, depending on which books you read, more than twenty species, geographic variations, hybrids and abnormalities. Some are known and are commercially available garden plants, others are obscure and sought after. Several, as yet, appear to be known only in Botanic Gardens and in the collections of enthusiasts. All are interesting and worthwhile plants. In the main they are hardy but some are resentful of our winter wet, or are naturally so floriferous as to be short lived.
Some species, such as D. grandiflora, x mertonensis, parviflora, are sound perennials especially if divided, which can be tricky! Other such as D. ferruginea are biennial and like so many biennials are best considered monocarpic, that is they die after setting seed, therefore with the exception of sterile hybrids they are best propagated by seed. Seed is available of at least half the species in general cultivation from various seed companies. Many of the rest can be obtained from seed lists of various societies as well as the National Collections, enthusiasts and botanic gardens. The seed is fine, uniformly sized and easy to handle. When possible it is best collected as soon as the capsule splits. When ripe the best and most viable seed will fall easily into a paper envelope, any that remain may not be of such good quality and attempting to dislodge it may well cause the good seed to be polluted with capsule debris, a potential hazard.
Once collected there is much to be said for sowing some as soon as possible, the seed is generally ready by early August and sowing at this time allows the young plants to become established before any hard weather. Such sowings may be over-wintered in a well ventilated cold frame or, in the case of less hardy species, a frost free glasshouse, for planting out in early April.
Depending on the quantity required, 4 inch (10cm) half pots or seed trays may be used. A seed tray will easily accommodate several hundred seedlings, far more than the average gardener requires even to support local NCCPG or other sales. Do not sow too thickly. Ideally the young plants should not touch. A good quality seed compost should be used, this should be levelled and gently firmed in the usual way. Once sown do not cover the seed as Digitalis require light for germination, this accounts for the failure described by some gardeners. The seed should be lightly pressed into the compost. I prefer to water-in overhead with a very fine rose watering can. Watering overhead is preferred as a general rule because this can reduce any germination inhibitors that adhere to the seed of some genera. If you would prefer not to use a can, then the sown pots may be stood in a shallow depth of water, once the surface of the compost darkens the container should be removed, the compost should not be allowed to become sodden.
The containers should be covered with clean glass. If the seed is sown in late summer a shaded cold frame or cool greenhouse is a suitable environment, or the north side of a wall; high temperatures should be avoided. If the seed is to be spring sown it should be stored in a dry paper bag or envelope which must be kept cool and dry under which conditions the seed lasts well. Long term deep refrigerated storage in a sealed container with silica gel is possible, this should last indefinitely.
Spring sown seed usually in March is sown in the same way, preferably in a frost-free glasshouse. Earlier sowing in January will produce plants which may well flower the first year from seed. Such sowing should be made in a warm glasshouse or propagator kept at 60-65°F (15-18°C). Whichever way is chosen the resulting plants should be pricked out. In the case of species the strongest should be chosen. With hybrids try retaining some of the weakest plants as these occasionally produce the most interesting colours. Both should be potted into small pots.
Alternatively seed can be sown directly into the flowering position and if kept moist germination takes about 21 days and, when large enough, the resulting seedlings may be thinned to stand about 12 inches (30cm) apart. Generally the species will come true from seed, however hybrids and forms will intercross; parent plants should be isolated to avoid confusion.
Terence Baker is the holder of the National Collection of Digitalis. He runs the Botanical Nursery in Wiltshire.

Hiring a greenhouse builder lightens your load in terms of planning and labor, which is a massive convenience and timesaver. Greenhouse building costs are expensive no matter what.

A hobbyist might relish in creating their own glasshouse or hoop house, but for serious growers and medium-to-larger spaces, it’s definitely recommended to hire a professional for a consultation to a full turnkey installation. Hiring a Professionalīuying a greenhouse kit is definitely an option, and there are plenty of DIY projects that exist.

New plumbing prices range from $350 to $1,840.ĭepending on the heating system, the cost to install a heater ranges from $170 to $9,200. Installing light fixtures costs between $150 and $820, but could cost more if you supplement with grow lights. The cost to put in a drip irrigation system runs from $1,800 to $2,500. The price to grade the ground under the greenhouse is between $980 and $2,950. Here are some average costs you could encounter: This price does not include installing or building the greenhouse itself. You could pay anywhere from $150 to $14,450 on average to set up an area for a greenhouse. Many greenhouse growers use a mesh material called greenhouse or shade netting to prevent damage to plants. Another potential downside is that it could actually burn plants by magnifying the sun’s rays instead of diffusing them. However, it’s also heavy and needs a frame that can support it. Glass is a great insulator and is highly durable. Greenhouse glass costs about $2.50 per square foot. Hydroponic systems have a high yield and don’t use soil for growing, instead relying mostly on air and water. This includes the cost to put in a water line as well as any electrical work. Hydroponic GreenhouseĪ 1,000-square-foot hydroponic greenhouse costs around $35,000 to build. If you’re interested in this style, get an estimate from a greenhouse builder near you. Greenhouses with retractable roofs are usually a custom project, typically designed for large or commercial areas. Return to Top Retractable Roof Greenhouse If your home has a flat roof that you think you can build on, it will cost much less than urban rooftop building, but expect to pay more than greenhouses built at or below ground level. This type of glasshouse is usually found in urban areas on top of high buildings with flat roofs. Rooftop GreenhouseĪn urban rooftop greenhouse could cost as much as $1 to $2 million. This does not include energy bills or the cost to maintain a heated space. Heated Greenhouse CostĪdding a heater to a greenhouse costs anywhere from $50 to $2,000 or more, bumping the average price of a greenhouse up to $17,930 to $19,880. They are dug into the ground which accesses the earth’s heat. Geothermal greenhouses (also known sometimes as “pit greenhouses” or “Walipini”) run between $6 and $12 per square foot. For reference, a 20-foot hoop house steel frame costs around $560 and doesn’t include the covering or end walls. Hoop House Costīuilding a hoop greenhouse costs $5 to $10 per square foot. There are several greenhouse types to choose from. The average price range for a greenhouse is between $7,380 and $28,370. If building on multiple acres, you likely will pay less than $2 per square foot but final costs depend on many different factors. Greenhouse Cost per AcreĮxpect to pay anywhere from $40,000 to $100,000 or more for a 1-acre greenhouse. The bigger the greenhouse, the less you’ll pay per square foot. Just like how people buy things in bulk for a better deal, prices per square foot drop as overall square footage increases. To operate a full-time business, it’s recommended that your greenhouse is at least 6,000 square feet (but many experts say 10,000 square feet is ideal). Commercial spaces are usually at least 20 feet wide (glasshouse builders often refer to structures by their width).

Commercial Greenhouse Construction Costs per Square FootĪ commercial greenhouse (heavy-gauge plastic over a steel framework, plus fans and hydration) will cost at least $2 to $4 per square foot. Other greenhouse costs per square foot depend on the type of greenhouse. These large greenhouses are 500 to 1,000 square feet. The average cost for a greenhouse structure (except for kits) is about $25 per square foot. Find hiring guides, material costs, expert advice, how-to's and more.

The Glasshouse
Check out the video if you are interested!!

Moving along, today we will take a look at the bedrooms, along with the pool house!!
