cries.... guys on a level i haven’t been online for such a long time... i honestly wasn’t even planning to make one of these but logging in on a whim and seeing the messages everyone has for each other on here is so sweetㅠㅠ all of the content creators i’ve interacted with here are not only all so talented but so supportive of one another. i love that i’ve become involved with such a positive community that’s built on uplifting each other !!! everyone on here should be so proud of themselves for all their accomplishments :”)))))))) i’m def proud of all of you !!!

2020 has def been a really difficult time for a lot of us but i’m so happy that so many people on here have found creators and most importantly friends to lean on. there have been so many people who i’ve interacted with on here that are all just so kind, i know i tell everyone that whenever they post my dash lights up but i promise it’s not just something i say LOLWLDLWA.... i’ve always been so nervous to interact with people online or not but for some reason seeing y’all interacting with each other and joking with each other and posting fics for me to cry and laugh to just fills me with so much joy !! so thank you !!! i sincerely hope that i can do my best to crawl out of my shell and become closer with you all, it’ll definitely be a resolution for the new year !! (well that and to get off my ass and finally write something lmaonxkdsk)

(and on the note of crawling out of my shell i originally wasn’t going to tag anyone in this but @hyukaite @unlocktxt @yoonjunie and @bffsoobin all went out of their way to tag me in such nice posts for the end of the year ((although i don’t think lexi’s was technically a year end post it still made me feel nice inside so i’m counting it lol....)) but on a level tysm you guys i’m so awkward so i never go out of my way to interact but you all still thought of me jwjwjdksksla !!!! it may not be a big deal to y’all but pls know that i literally love you omg... seeing people tagging me literally made my whole entire night. and i’d honestly tag all my mutuals for making 2020 bearable but i’m ..... so.. shy............ so i hope at least some of you read this !!!! because mutual or not this message is for everybody LOL)

but to end this all off i just want everyone to know that i’m so proud of all of us for getting through this hurdle of a year omfg... i know some of us have suffered so much mentally and i just want you to know that i’ll always try my best to be here for youㅠㅠㅠㅠ i hope you can all feel my hug through the screen, or at least pat yourselves on the back because no matter what, you’ve done so well. you’ve worked so hard. please don’t forget that !!

i hope we all stay happy and healthy in the new year. please remember to be kind to yourself and know that i love you so much. i hope that 2021 will welcome us kindly with open arms !!

it’s a movie about skaters in the 90s and the culture surrounding it !! i fell asleep for a good chunk of it because i was kind of tipsy when i watched it but it was an interesting watch for a lot of what i was awake for !! it had the biggest pretentious indie vibes that i hated but also loved... i also would have liked the movie a lot more if it wasn’t directed by some white man like jonah hill hcjkfkdxkkssk....... but tbh that’s with any movie isn’t it haha

last completed show: the queen’s gambit

y’all if you haven’t seen queen’s gambit then pls stop what you’re doing and give it a watch on netflix😭 it’s so freaking good, it’s about a female chess prodigy making a name for herself in the 60s... ik it sounds boring but it’s actually so intense and dramatic, and you don’t have to know anything about chess to enjoy it !! and the costumes are just *chefs kiss* everything about that show is so amazing sans the fact that there’s like barely any diversity in the cast rip

currently reading: pachinko by minjin lee

this is a really great book if you want to get a glimpse into some korean history and how japanese occupation/wwii affected korean people, specifically the korean people living in japan at the time. it’s such a relevant topic but apparently pachinko is the only fictional book published in the west about japan’s occupation of korea ?? bruh... it’s also just overall an amazing drama with relatable amazingly written characters !! (esp if you’re asian, ESP if you’re an immigrant😭)
