Tears fell down your cheeks when the scene of nature invaded your senses. It felt so . . . overwhelming to be back home. After agonizing day after agonizing day down in that hellhole. The gently swaying of the trees, the soft chirps of the birds and the sound of rushing water greeting your ears contrasted greatly to the sounds of the empty ocean and horrifying screams that seemed to ring out days on end; finally seeing colors that aren't grey; the fresh smell of the trees and plants invading your sense of smell made you forget the strong smell of iron and saltwater that seemed to be present in every room.

Yeah . . . you were finally home.

With company, too. Risking a glance over to Sebastian, in his hands was the monitor of Painter, memories flood your brain that lead up to this exact moment. UrbanShade saw him as too much as a threat to the company, so much that they had sent out several EXR-P's to attempt to kill him only to fail miserably. You happened to be one of those EXR-P's. But you weren't able to go through with it, you read his file before being sent out. How he was accused of a crime he didn't commit, to being mutated beyond belief whilst in a great immense of pain, to being treated like an animal by the personnel of the company.

So when you finally encountered the man, you simply took the gun out of its holster, and handed it over to him with no hesitation. When he asked? You simply told him you refuse to be another chess piece for a company that has brought him suffering, and you wished to help him go against them.

He laughed at you for a good minute, calling you stupid for thinking that your, "little trick", would work on him of all people.

"Then shoot me." Those words seemed to snap him out of his laughter, bewildered bright eyes snapping in your direction when those words tumbled out, meeting determined eyes "If you believe me to be the same as those of UrbanShade," You took a step closer to him, giving him the opportunity to shoot you at point-blank, "-then shoot me dead."

Ever since, you teamed up against the company—though he helped take out the chip before you could proceed any further, saying how it was too much of a risk that they could be listening in—gathering any pieces of data you could potentially use against them in exchange for your freedom. It seemed to have become easier when Painter joined the cause.

An opportunity soon made itself known, months spent preparing for this one moment, none of you could mess it up. You only had one chance at succeeding. No mess-ups were allowed. It was a grueling process, but you pushed forward, determined to see the light of the sun.

And it worked. A few injuries here and there, but you now had the crystal in your possession. Once the personal heard wind of it, they immediately doubled their efforts to get their grubby hands on the crystal, like a school of piranhas going after a piece of dead meat. Though their efforts ceased when Sebastian threatened to break it with no hesitation, unless they met your demands.

Freedom, a duffel with $XXXXXX of cash and a computer for Painter to use. No chips, no trackers, no bombs, nothing. Unless they want their precious crystal to be destroyed.

And once you finally stepped foot on the surface? You let Painter and Sebastian do what they've wanted to do for a loooonng time; releasing every single piece of data that UrbanShade had to offer to the public.

It spread in a span of minutes.

The government found out about the operation Urbanshade was running, helping you all with building a case against them. The court date was set, so now you could only wait.

Now all that was left to do was watch them burn, in your old farmhouse within the woods, finally free from their clutches.

"Ready to start all over?" You were only met with silence, only the noises of the woods answering you, maybe he didn't hear you. But a glance proved you wrong, his face said everything. There was an unbelievably soft look on his face, his eyes scanning everything that surrounded him; his bottom lip seemed to tremble slightly as an overwhelming tsunami of emotions hit him all at once when the fact he was on the surface again sunk in. His eyes taking on a glassy look, his frame now trembling, holding onto Painter to make sure the AI didn't fall.

Painter only let out a sound of awe at their surrounding, their giggles echoing into the woods when a yellow butterfly landed on the frame of their screen, opening and closing its wings before flying off.

Smiling softly, you intertwined your fingers with Sebastians bigger one, giving it a small squeeze to pull him back to Earth. Taking a deep breath, he straightened his back, readjusting his hold on the computer before looking over at you.

". . . Yeah," A slight crack was heard in his voice, clearing his throat before speaking again, "-yeah I'm ready."

"Let's go home then." Heading towards the worn out path, you missed the look Sebastian made at the mention of home. Home, how long has he thought about home? The safety of one, the shelter of one, the warmth of one?

"Home?"

"Yeah, home."

Well since my bachelorette designs were received so well, I decided to complete the marriage set! Here’s my bachelors!

I’m drawing these from the perspective of how they’d look on day 1, but I’d definitely like to do a post-Joja higher heart design for Shane at some point. Overall for this one I just tried to make him look unkempt and dull, I desaturated his skin tone to make him look sickly and he’s the only one without eye shines, signifying how he’s lost the spark for life.

Also sorry about the socks and Birkenstocks.

Decided to make Alex mixed, since there’s absolutely no diversity in the bachelors. Had a lot of fun translating his canon hairstyle into those short locs. Other than that the biggest change was turning his jacket into a proper varsity jacket. Short Alex gang unite!

Okay sorry Haley, Elliot takes the win for the most changed design. Like it’s so obvious he’s meant to have a Victorian jacket and fancy trousers and all that, but after I drew him all tall and slender and I gave him little braids and beach waves he just started taking on a Boho vibe? When I drew the jacket it just looked tight and restrictive. So I decided to let the beach influence carry and we ended up with this fancy yet comfy loungewear with sandals. And I love him?

Also this was heavily inspired by ginjaninjaowo’s male espeon design

Sebastian was honestly a pain, like I know his design plays off the emo teen archetype, but compared to the others npcs he’s actually got a lot of variety. Like he’s obviously got some emo influence, but there’s also some nerd thanks to his interest in coding and ttrpgs, and he’s also a bit of a tough guy with the bike and the smoking. So there were a lot of directions to lean. Still, his sprite is clearly going for a dark hoodie and dark jeans, so I didn’t think I could change it up without making it not feel like Sebby. Does he have a muscle tee underneath for working on the bike? I’ll never say.

Biggest change is probably the hair, just wanted something less stereotypical, and have some variety in bachelor hair length. Definitely leans into the biker side a bit lol. Otherwise I just tried add detail to his dark outfit and adorn it with his interests. So frog embroidery on his shoes, a patch on his jacket and some motor oil stains on his hoodie. Also as promised he and Maru have matching dimples.

Also happy pride month, enjoy trans Sebastian and also the head canon that he and Sam start dating provided the farmer doesn’t get there first lol.

And with Sam the ASS trio is complete! Now with matching chokers because I said so.

Just like with Sebby I wasn’t sure which direction to go for Sam, whether to lean more into skater boy or rockstar. Ultimately he ended up more rockstar, though he’s still always roughed up from skating (probably because he refuses to take off the platform boots). He thinks the torn clothes make him look more legit though.

I had fun making his shape language compliment Sebby; he’s very top heavy from the giant hoodie so I made Sam bottom heavy with the baggy jeans and jacket. Also I had so many thoughts about him and Kent, given that Sam and Sebby are a thing and Sam isnt exactly gender conforming.

And last but not least, Harvey. He’s sweet, he’s simple, all his heart events are charming. And yet he is always the last one I reach max hearts with because I can’t be bothered to go to the doctors office. Sorry bby, I hope I can make it up to you by designing you as an adorable cherub of a man.

I know I’m being super controversial, giving him a pushbroom mustache when the sprite is obviously a handlebar /s. But like, he’s such a square; it fits him so well. My little lawful good guy.

Ya know, I think I gave him a sweater so Elliot’s jacket would stand out, then proceeded to not give Elliot his jacket. Huh.

My oral fixation and tendency to chew on nice textures means i keep rereading the sebek tail fic you wrote and imagine mouthing at the bumps and grooves of his tail. Perhaps i was laying down, basically melting into the cushions of the sofa and he's sitting there talking about his day and stuff he did and i love to listen but I'm also fidgety and zone out very easily. His tail lays to the side right next to me where I'm lounging and the minute twitches and movements of the long thick scaly tail are mesmerizing. As his voice relaxes me further i end up sinking deeper into the cushions and resting my cheek on his strong scaly tail. The texture is bumpy and rubbery yet there's give, a notable sense of life to the thing, i only register that he notices because he stutters and i was fixated on his voice so i notice if it stops. I glance up questioningly

"why'd ya stop", i murmur, I'm tired and the day was long and i enjoy listening to his voice. I watch as my breath fogs along cool scales, i idly trace shapes into the lingering condensation. Distantly i register that his voice is shuddery, that it's gained a new timber but it's still delicious to listen to and i find the breathy low nature of it relaxing still so i pay it no mind. I have noticed that deeper longer breaths leave better swaths of warming scales, i can trace better shapes in the lingering warm breath. Sebek works hard, he deserves better shapes and the slower deeper breathing makes my mind sluggish and sleepy and cozy. He says something, something stilted, a question i think. Something about what I'm doing and why.

I answer what I'm doing, because i love him and he deserves answers. He deserves everything to me.

"you make me so happy, and you're so cool and you're cold" i giggle at the wordplay, cool and cold, " I'm making you warm and making bigger shapes. Look"

I breathe, slow, i feel the heat on my tongue. I watch as the condensation, like fog, spreads across his scales. He makes a keening sound but I'm focused on my task. He deserves good things, and I might be sleepy but he deserves a good shape. I draw what comes to mind, in the lingering moisture of my breath on heated scales, a heart. A big heart, big as my palm. I look up after I've lovingly traced the shape, big as i could from the deepest breath in me.

Sebek is red faced, i like his red face and tell him so. He gets redder and he's so cute and i always tell him so i do. I tell him he's so cute and i love him. His tail writhes next to me, my hands keeping it from moving too much. when did i grab it? His tail is gorgeous, scales kept in good condition, the texture is so cool and lovely and i love him and when i think he's cool and lovely i give him a kiss (i like how red he gets) so i give him a kiss to his big strong tail.

He makes such cute and lovely noises, his voice is deep and breathy and full of feelings and he's such a gorgeous lovely guy. I like the feel of his bumpy rubbery tail on my tongue, he tastes of a bit of salt but also of him. It's hard to explain. It's not bad and i like the way his face turns red, the way his deep voice changes pitch and his gasps and groans, he's so lovely. I always make sure to tell him and i tell him now. How lovely he is, how wonderful he is, how hard he works and how much he deserves everything. I say it a bit muffled because I'm still mouthing at each bump and divot on his tail, i like how my tongue slots along the grooves and i like the slight give when i gently bite at the raised scales along the top.

Sebek doesn't stop me though he calls me insatiable in the morning.

Anyways long story short Sebek is in for a long night and reader is sleepy and mouthing at his tail and lavishing praise

“You’re here!” You greeted Sebastian with a hug.

Sebastian smiles and wrapped his arm around your waist securely and used his other one to close the door. He gently set you on the floor and kissed you sweetly.

“I missed you.” You say against his lips.

“I missed you more, baby.” Sebastian says, pulling you closer to him.

You smiled against his lips and took his hand in yours, leading him to the living room and sat down on the couch.

“Where’s your son and daughter?” Sebastian asks.

“Their friend’s mom is giving them a ride home. They should be home soon.” You tell him.

You moved closer to him and Sebastian wrapped his arm around you.

“Are you nervous to meet them?” You asked, looking up at him.

“A little. I just want to make a good first impression for them.” He says.

Sebastian smiles and leaned down to kiss you. That’s when the door opened and closed.

“Living room!” You shouted back.

Their jaws dropped the second they walked in the living room and saw Sebastian.

“Abby, Ben, this is my boyfriend—” Abby and Ben interrupted you.

“Carter Baizen!” “Bucky Barnes!” Abby and Ben say at the same time in surprise.

Sebastian chuckles at their surprised state and stood up, holding out his hand for them to shake which they did.

“I’m assuming you two already know who I am. Your mom told me all about you guys.” Sebastian says with a smile.

Abby and Ben nodded their heads. They were so surprised that they didn’t know what to say.

“So you and our mom are dating?” Abby asks Sebastian.

“Yes we are.” Sebastian says with a smile and wraps his arm around your waist.

“This is the coolest thing ever!” Ben says excitedly.

“Mom is dating an actor!” Abby says excitedly.

You and Sebastian laughed at their excitement.

“So you two are ok with me having a boyfriend?” You asked them.

“More than ok.” Ben says.

“We just want you to be happy.” Abby says.

You smiled and gave them a hug.

“How about you two do your homework and we can go get something to eat.” Sebastian suggested.

Alex:

Flex. A lot of flex. Every time Farmer is around, Alex will lift heavy objects, thus showing off his muscles. Heavy? No, it's not hard for him to hold a huge crate at all! He repeatedly brags about his achievements in sports, but also doesn't forget to praise the Farmer for their hard work and looks. If Farmer gives the 'green light" for his flirting, Alex will move on to more classic things: small gifts, bouquets of flowers, walks on the beach, that sort of thing. Very nice of him, by the way. 6/10 - if he doesn’t praise himself often.

Sam:

In regards to flirting with someone, Sam gets a bit of a funny situation, which can be described by the phrase "Task failed successfully". Being inexperienced in love affairs, Sam often confuses words when he tries to flirt, or trips over an unfortunate rock in the road when he wants to approach Farmer. The young musician thinks to himself that his flirting is terrible and that he is clumsy. However, after much laughter, the Farmer thought Sammy was a very funny guy who would always make them laugh and they wanted to get to know him better. Task failed successfully! 5/10, although the flirting wasn't very good, it still worked!

Elliott:

If you think Elliott is going to seduce Farmer like in the book novels, you're absolutely right! But there is a little nuance. Yes, Elliott is a very well-mannered and sophisticated man, so his flirting, gifts and time spent will be the most romantic. However, a life of seclusion in a beach house has also made itself felt, and sometimes Elliott can forget that this is not a romance, but real life. So, let the Farmer get ready for small talk and nice walks in nature. Elliott will try to find an excuse to meet Farmer more often. 9/10, very good!

Sebastian:

Oh man, Sebastian's flirting.... is a bit of a mess. The young man was too shy and socially awkward to flirt with his object of affection in any way. He couldn't muster up the courage to show his past affection for Abigail, and it's more complicated than that. More often than not, and unknowingly, Sebby will smile and blush when talking to Farmer, avert his gaze, also more often invite them to his house to play board games or read comics. 3/10, sorry Seb, but that's not much of a flirt.

Harvey:

Yoba witnesses, Harvey tries his best, and, in principle, his flirting with Farmer turns out quite well. Not without flaws, of course, when he got a little nervous and confused, but quite acceptable and very romantic. The local doctor doesn't have much experience in love adventures, but he knows very well that the classics won't let him down if he wants to show his interest in the chaotic Farmer. 7/10, the key thing for Harvey is to keep his nerve (and not offer private medical check-up too often).

Shane:

Flirting is not Shane's thing. He has pretty low self-esteem and doesn't seem to care what most people think of him or what he looks like. Even if he gets the urge to try and start courting Farmer in some way, he stops himself most of the time. Unfortunately, Shane considers himself unworthy of their attention, like, who would want to socialise with someone like him. So the chicken lover will just throw dreamy glances at Farmer in the Saloon. Although, after a couple of beers, he does manage to flirt somehow (a bit vulgar, but still). 2/10, Farmer needs to make the first move themselves if they're interested in Shane.

SVE bachelors:

Lance:

No one knows whether it's a natural talent or whether Lance was taught a whole set of rules on how to flirt and behave in society, but this gallant man with a catty grin on his face is just a real master of flirting. Just like a noble knight in shining armour who came out of a chivalric novel. He knows perfectly well what levers to pull in order to gain the goodwill of the person he likes. Even if the Farmer doesn't mind flirting, but are an impregnable fortress, Lance is willing to spend a lot of time to conquer that fortress. 10/10, what a real romantic bastard.

Victor:

Behold - the smoothest man who can outdo even Elliott in his mastery of romance and very subtle flirting. Though a bit shy and introverted, Victor knows how to make the Farmer blush with a compliment (thanks to the many books on the subject in his personal library). Lots of walks, interesting and not too long conversations, dinner at the Saloon, or even sitting together at the game console. Victor chooses his complimentary words very carefully and watches the Farmer's reaction. If they don't feel uncomfortable, Victor continues. 8/10, this spaghetti man is full of surprises.

Magnus Rasmodius:

It had been a long time since Magnus had flirted with anyone, the last time he'd done so had been when he was younger... So it wasn't easy for him to remember everything he knew about love affairs, though even in his youth there had been only one affair, then marriage, then divorce, then.... Oh, well, that's just the way it is. Magnus is quite a romantic wizard, no doubt about it, but the hardest thing is to start flirting, especially if it's successful. It would help him to spend time together (a.k.a. magic lessons, thanks that Farmer has talent and is no stranger to Magnus). 4/10, c'mon Magnus, we believe in you.

SDV bachelorettes:

Leah:

Leah's main flirt is praise and shared pastime. Farmer very often becomes her muse for a future painting or sculpture, which, by the way, Leah then presents them. Collecting mushrooms and berries together, where the girl shares her experience in finding the best places with a lot of delicious gifts of the forest, she also repeatedly offers her help on the farm and praises their physical build. Leah is not shy about flirting, and if Farmer is single and doesn't feel uncomfortable during her flirting, the girl will continue until she achieves victory on the love front. 7/10, pretty good and confident flirting.

Penny:

Penny is a very sweet and kind girl, but she has zero ambition. She blushes too much and she almost always looks away or hides her face in a book if she sees Farmer, so it's an impossible task for a young teacher to approach her object of affection and start flirting. Her trouble is that Penny thinks she's a "grey mouse" who no one will pay much attention to, much less someone like Farmer. 0/10, I'm sorry Penny, but you have no flirting skills at all.

Maru:

Maru will look for any excuse to fix Farmer's broken appliances to get to know each other better. Broken recycling machine? Maru is already here, always ready to help them. In fact, she's always helped with repairs, but now her visits have become even more frequent. Mostly, the young inventor is a bit shy and rather timid when she tries to compliment the Farmer's appearance or clothes. She is sometimes afraid she might bore them with her chatter about her inventions. But if Farmer enjoys listening to a girl, she'll definitely talk all her ears off about science, and it will be much easier for her to flirt with them. 5/10, not too good but not too bad.

Haley:

Oh, Haley sure has a few tricks to get Farmer's attention on herself. After all, she was a star in high school and the centre of attention for many of her fans. Flirting is her thing. A subtle hint of wanting a relationship here, a successful praise there, a light conversation afterwards, a "chance" encounter here - it's a whole art for the blonde-haired girl. Also one of her best tactics is to be herself: to be nice, fun, and not to stay under the mask of a slightly spoilt and rude girl. Haley's tactics work, and Farmer has also started to take a liking to her. 8/10, there are a couple of flaws, but overall a quality flirt.

Abigail:

The amethyst lover's hints of flirting almost directly scream that she likes Farmer a lot. Recall at least her post 8 ❤️ event when she says that "Farmer must know what happened yesterday". But Abigail is going to start wooing them anyway, as she's not sure they've realized what happened yesterday after all. Constant compliments from Abby, also one of her main flirtations is her sketches of various fantasy characters, which she gives to Farmer. 6.5/10, not bad in principle but could be better.

Emily:

Honestly, I'm not sure Emily understands what flirting is at all. Well, she feels sympathy and a love interest for Farmer, but even when the two are officially a couple, Emily thanks them and refers to them as "good friend". "Friend", friendzone forever... Sure, she'll always compliment Farmer on their beautiful looks or their harmonious clothing choices, but it feels like she still refers to them as a friend. 1/10, I love you Emily, but you're not trying at all.

SVE bachelorettes:

Sophia:

Have pity on poor Sophia, she's having a hard enough time socialising as it is, and then there's the need to flirt! She has a very similar case as Penny, but unlike the red-haired girl, Sophia makes more attempts. Watching anime together, chatting about new manga, the latest from the video game world, etc... She also shares the most delicious snacks and sweets with Farmer, which is a big step considering how shy she is. This sort of thing comes across as just a friendly hangout, but Sophia tries to hint that she wants more than friendship. 4/10, she's really trying her best.

Olivia:

Need to say - Olivia is a bit of a contradiction in terms. This woman was a masterful flirt when she was younger if she really liked someone, and her skill hasn't faded over the years. The problem is simply that she's a widow, hasn't had a relationship since her husband's death, and feels that her flirting with someone (especially a younger person like Farmer) would constitute a betrayal to her late husband. If Olivia and Farmer work it out, the woman will quickly show the object of her affection what sophisticated and professional flirting is all about. 9/10, mommy- *ahem*, Olivia knows how to wow Farmer.

Claire:

Due to the fact that Claire is a rather quiet and shy girl (not as shy as Penny or Sophia) and her constant fatigue at work at JojaMart, flirting with Farmer is not easy for her. On the other hand, the young girl always feels a rush of energy when she sees her close friend (who has become her object of admiration). Claire doesn't have too many tricks in her flirting arsenal, but compliments and spending time together are assured. 5/10, not too bad, actually.

"Seb. Psst. Sebby. Baby. Seb. Seb. Seb." You whispered, gradually growing louder as you tried to wake the sleeping man next to you.

Sebastian groaned next to you, bringing a hand up to rub his face, squinting his eyes, adjusting them to the darkness in confusion.

"Baby. What? Are you okay? What time is it?"

“Like... 1am, but c’mon, c’mon, c’mon!” You grabbed his shoulder and shook him playfully, gently.

“And why, angel, may I ask, do you want me to get out of bed at 1am?”

You raise your brows, giving him a look, to which he looks confused, before his face lit up in an instant.

“Wait. That’s now?”

“Yes!”

Without another moment of hesitation, Sebastian threw the covers off, and threw on a t-shirt. You laughed at how eager he was, but you also relished his happiness, taking in joy from the happy, childlike smile on his face.

The two of you heard about this event earlier and immediately set an alarm for later that night, what with the both of you being space nerds. You both loved dates where you would just camp out and watch the stars for hours at a time, cuddling close, just enjoying the night sky together..

You guys quickly went to the balcony. You had done it up a few months ago after getting lucky with a big space. There was a small hammock chair swing on one end, a small table and couple of normal chairs at the other, free space in the middle.

As mid-May approached, the weather was warm, only a light breeze bristling past. Luckily, the sky was clear so you had a good view of the stars above.

The sky was illuminated in stroked of pink, purples and flickering whites, a bit of yellow, blue and green peeking through the magenta curtains of the lights. You both stood there in awe, never experiencing something of this great beauty before. You were incredibly excited as this had been on your bucket list for years.

Sebastian stood next to you, rocking back and forth on his feet. His hands were on your hips as he took in the view of the ethereal lights around him. The cars below were less frequent, only a few passing by. The neighbours’ lights were off, except for the odd one or two. The darkness on the streets gave an even clearer view of the sky, and for that, you were grateful.

"Did you bring your phone? You whisper to him. You smile as he wordlessly hands you it from his pocket. You swipe away from the picture of the both of you on the lock screen and go to the camera, taking a variety of photos you guys will cherish.

Sebastian moved around and you looked to see what he was doing, where he was going. He sat in the soft, swinging chair, pulling you towards him by the waist. You smiled and lay with him between his legs, your back against his chest. You turned slightly, angling your head to look up to him as he placed a kiss to your forehead.

You felt Sebastian's arms snake under your (his) shirt and wrap around your waist, resting on your stomach, his thumb gently stroking the skin underneath. You smile and wiggled back, getting more comfortable as you both looked up to the sky again.

Three hours after she responded to his text, Sebastian started planning the date.

Sure he had a week’s time in between now and then but he enjoys having everything they could possibly want or need ready for use when they need it.

He and Jenson sat on the patio of Seb’s home, sipping alcoholic drinks, “So I was thinking about snowboarding.”

As soon as the word ‘snow’ left Sebastian’s lips, Jenson shook his head, covering his mouth his the back of his hand, “She gets cold way too easy.” he spoke, “Plus you know Mark will give you hell for taking her out in cold weather.”

Sebastian thought for a moment before shrugging a reply, “He’ll get over it, I’ll just tell her to bring extra layers.”

Jenson chuckled, finishing off his glass, “Yeah, like she doesn’t pack enough already. Took her to Greece for a week and she brought like thirty-five outfits. And not to mention she’s hard-headed, she’ll wear two coats and make you carry a third while you guys are there”

“Doesn’t hurt to have options.” the German joked before taking a rather large swig of his drink.

“Sounds like you two are perfect for each other then.” Jenson swatted at Sebastian’s arm playfully before rubbing the palms of his hands into his thighs and standing up, “I think I should get going mate, you have fun planning and uh, carrying extra coats around” the Brit winked as he finished the statement.

He and Sebastian shared a hug and a few more laughs before he left, Sebastian cleaned up the liquor and beer bottles before snuggling into bed, searching on his phone for snowboarding lodges.

January 27, 2023 (4:32 p.m)

Chloe woke up just before the plane landed, she peeked out the window to see snowy mountains and a pink and orange sunset. As she got off the plane and went through customs all she could think about was Sebastian. She hadn’t seen him since his retirement party and this was the first time since then that their schedules have lined up. She walked to the entrance, looking for Seb’s car, his face, his hair, something.

“Come on, Seb, where are you?” she mumbled under her breath, she heard a chuckle from behind before she whipped around to see Seb standing behind her, grinning ear to ear, with a bouquet of daisies.

Her eyes went wide with excitement and surprise when she saw him, “Sebby!” she shrieked, immediately pulling the man into a hug and squeezing him tight. Seb chuckled and hugged her back equally as tight, “Hi, schatz. I missed you so much.” he said as they swayed back and forth still embracing one another.

Chloe pulled away from the hug, grabbing his face and pressing a kiss to his lips, “I missed you too, you have no idea.”

Seb gestured the flowers towards her as they walked to the car, not getting the reaction he hoped to get from them, “Oh my goodness, Seb, they’re beautiful.”

He smiled as she sniffed one of the flowers, “Smell good, I hope?” he joked.

She nodded, “Home now, I’ve been in these clothes for a day in a half, I need to shower.”

“That and we need to rest for snowboarding tomorrow.” he glanced over to her to see her reaction

Chloe stopped in her tracks, “Snowboarding?” she looked at him as if he had three heads.

He chuckled at her expression, “Yes, snowboarding, it’s part of our big date.” he winked.

She giggles as they reach the car, Seb reaching around to open the passenger door, “I thought Mark said no more activities in the snow after I rammed that sleigh into the barn?”

Seb shrugs at the question, “Good thing Mark isn’t here then, huh?” he places his hand on her thigh as he gets into the car, settling into his seat.

January 30, 2023 (8:36 a.m.)

The feeling of cold air hit her arm before the fact that Seb wasn’t in the bed with her did.

She sat up, moving her messy brown hair from her face, shivering as more of her skin was exposed to the cold Swedish air. She made a few noises of pain as she stretched her arms and back before whispering to herself, “Sebby..”

Seb peeked his head from around the bathroom door frame, his hair was wet, “Good morning, liebe.” he said softly, “I just took a little ice bath outside, sorry if the noises woke you up.”

She blinked at him, “An icebath? Since when do you take ice baths?” she giggled at the thought of one of Seb’s former team or teammate convincing him take one in the first place.

“Charles told me to try it” he shrugged, “You should try it, helps with moodiness.” he winked before going into the kitchen to start preparing breakfast.

Chloe, left gobsmacked about the comment, follows him in an overshirt t-shirt and a pair of boxers, “You did not.”

“I did and I apologize.” he turns to her to press a kiss to her cheek, smiling as he did so.

“Maybe I forgive you.” she smirks, looking up at him while wrapping her arms around his neck.

He smirked, reaching behind himself to reveal a bowl of strawberries, pushing it into her hands, “How about now?”

Her face lit up as she grabbed the bowl from him, nodding frantically. He looked lovestruck for a moment, he just starred at her, admiring her cuteness.

He caught himself when he nearly leaned in to kiss her, he cleared his throat and rubbed his hands together, “Now hurry and eat that so you can get ready to leave for snowboarding!”

She did a tiny hop before making a squeal like sound, “I forgot that was today!” she quickly finished the strawberry she had in her hand and shoved the bowl back into Seb’s hands.

She ran to the bathroom, locking the door behind her, a couple seconds later the shower could be heard running. The suddenness of her actions made Seb laugh to himself as he finished the strawberries.

(1:47 p.m.)

After 4 hours of pure goofiness in the snow, the pair decided it was time to head back home and get ready for the dinner reservations Sebastian had made the week prior.

“That was so fun!” Chloe giggled as she placed a light kiss on the German’s cheek as they walked to the car after their outing.

“Even though you complained about being cold the entire time?” Seb teased as he opened the passenger door, putting his hand on the small of her back as she got in.

Chloe rolled her eyes at the comment, pulling her coat tightly around her, “Not my fault you decided to take me to one of the coldest places known to man.” she spat back.

“Well you can’t say you didn’t enjoy it, you just admitted it was fun.” he chuckled. Seb’s hand ended up resting on her inner thigh once he started driving, looking at her at every stop light or sign as she rambled on about her job.

He starts admiring the way her skin glows in the sun, how she talk with her hands, the facial expressions she makes while impersonating other people in her stories, how her Scottish accent gets thicker as she talks more.

He completely understands all the comments he sees on posts about her talking about how beautiful and funny and smart she is. He had never really thought about how much he liked her until now, her company was the best possible thing for him.

He wanted nothing more than to make her happy, to make her feel loved, to take her places she’s never been, to experience new things with her and now that they both finally had some down time, they were definitely going to make the most of it.

You broke through the water, hands grasping the metal in front of you with a huff. A bit of a struggle to pull yourself up and into the room, but you managed anyway. Laying flat on your stomach for a moment to try and catch your breath. Any moment to spare that wasn't spent looking over your shoulder for an angler was a good one. You felt yourself begin to relax, but that didnt last long at all as the light in the room mysteriously flickered on. A more golden color than the other rooms you've been in, and higher too? You sit yourself up only to freeze, panic rushing through your veins like shards of ice. There, sitting taller than any of the previous creatures you've encountered, was what you could only describe as some kind of fish man. His fins flick back and forth as he tilts his head. A smile on his face as his upper set of hands clasp together.

“Welcome, welcome! Don't be afraid, I'm not going to hurt you.” His voice is smooth and calm, an unfamiliar playfulness that you'd have never expected of a creature down here ringing through.

“Despite what you may have seen, heard, or been told. My name is Sebastian, your only friend.” You aren't particularly fond of the way he says only. Something about it makes your stomach churn and your anxiety build. You can't tell if that's to say he isn't really your friend, or if that's more to the effect of saying there's more things looking out for you down here. You don't like either option. You don't want anything watching over you, mostly because you don't trust it. You've only ever heard this name spoken by the higher ups in whispers, like he's the boogeyman or something. His voice on the intercom talking about the mess he's made of all the operatives sent down to dispose of him. Its a little hard not to be intimidated.

“There's no need to be so tense, I'm not going to bite. Look. You have data, lots of it. All that data you've been collecting doesn't really have a use to you, now does it? Now I have all sorts of things you might need, medkits, batteries, and the like.” He shifts his tail forward just a bit, allowing you to get a good look at his wares.

“For the price of that data that you certainly have no need for, you could have something actually useful to you down here. Isn't that nice?” He hums out as you stand up. Your hands coming up to your helmet to tug it off with a gasp. A nice deep breath in of the oddly fresh air in here leaves you a bit more relaxed as you shake your head. Your hair falls into a messy heap more so than anything particularly pretty or graceful. Imagine if you could have that kind of hair care routine down here? A girl can dream, right? You lean over to get a good look at Sebastians things, but the fish doesn't say a word. His entire body seems tense, gaze locked on you.

“Uh- everything okay?” You ask, but he seems to almost be staring through you.

“Whats your name?”

“Y/N? Why?” You attempt to ask but he’s already leaned his face close to yours, leaving you both tense and uncomfortable. His third hand falls to your hip to tug you in. One hand pushing your hair back, and the other cupping at your cheek. His eyes bright as they flick around your face. His breath comes out oddly shaky, its hard to tell if that's fear or anger or what. Still he releases you all at once, staring you down like you'll stab him while his back is turned. He seems shaken up, like one of those small puppies that gets lost in rooms that are too big.

“You alright? You're acting really jumpy for a man that was talking so smooth just a moment ago.”

“Where did you get that- why do you look like that?”

“Ouch? I can't exactly help the way I was born. You didn't have to be so rude about it. That's a real fucking mean way of calling me ugly.”

“No- no you're not- that's not-” He attempts to correct himself but really just devolves into confused choked noises.

“Is there something specific about my face you don't like or? Like, should I put the helmet back on?”

“NO! No I just…haven't seen a face like that in a while. You remind me of someone is all. Someone I miss.” You hesitate for a moment before allowing the defensiveness to wash off you. He’s grieving, maybe? I mean seeing someone that looks like a loved one you can't see anymore must hurt, right? Especially down here. You're certain that if you'd been trapped down here as long as he has and saw someone that looked identical to a loved one on the surface, you'd probably freak out too.

“Can- Can you see them again?”

“No. They…They've been dead for a long time.”

“Im sorry for your loss.”

“No, no it's fine. Seeing you was just a bit shocking is all. Never mind that- is there something you wanted to buy?” He tries to carry on, but now, every time you step into his shop. He can't help but let his eyes linger on your face.

Maybe I’ll do the bachelors, I’m not as confident with drawing guys though. I definitely have ideas for some of them…

Individual pics and thought process under the cut:

Made penny’s outfit a bit more teacher-like and gave her a big comfy cardigan because the girl needs something nice. Tried to make her a bit chunky to match what I imagine Pam’s body type would be, but she’s honestly so swallowed by the sweater her chub doesn’t really show through lol.

Probably wins for biggest change from canon, but she was my first spouse so she deserved something special, and the idea of hot pink bell bottom jeans was too good to pass up. Also added a bag for her camera, she may be a fashionista but she’s still practical.

Short queen.

Overall I just tried to make her look more like an inventor. So things like the motor oil stains and capped boots for safety, plus ample pockets for bolts and wires. Oh and I gave her more textured hair, though I tried to keep the overall square shape language it had originally.

Probably the design Im least satisfied with. I knew I wanted Leah to be more butch from the start, but I do thing it strayed a bit far from her characterization, especially with her loved gifts suggesting she has a more lavish taste.

Gave her some gray streaks, implying that she got a bit worn down from city life. I also gave her a tattoo, I thought it fit her living in the city. I imagine a heart event would have her cover it up with something more naturey and personal.

Also the scar isn’t from anything cool, I like to think she just tripped as a baby. But she’ll tell a different crazy story anytime someone asks.

I love how different the depictions of Emily are, I’ve seen them range from graceful crystal goddess to full on manic pixie dream girl. Obviously my version is closer to the latter, though I tried to balance that out with a sense of maturity, given her job as a bartender. I love her being a giant string bean, like she’s bent over in the pose so she doesn’t look too much taller than the others, but I imagine she’s like 6’ 1”. Also she has a gem bracelet, to symbolize all the rocks I gifted her.
