Court gossip in pre-calamity BOTW is so underrated and we need more content about it.

Like, the court ladies would have a blast seeing Zelda being 24/7 with her knight (who also happens to be very handsome). Maybe they will criticize her when she lets people know how much she detests him, but once that is over... gosh.

Link and Zelda become very close. They spend every minute of the day together, even out of duty, to the point in which the "incredibly loyal and protective but immensely professional knight" narrative cannot beat the romance allegations and the court goes so fucking wild. Nothing can stop them from believing their Princess is in love with her knight (the class difference makes it more juicy), and sooner than later they start making up a whole ass romance. Rumours after rumours after rumours start spreading and no one seems to be able to hold back from such a good story.

Of course, Zelda is the first one to find out. And it happens to occur when she is already crushing on Link, so it makes things one hundred percent worse. Thank god they don't know the truth.

As someone who has been in Jamaica for over a week, and as someone with high connections in the country and lucky to be visiting high end places here… Meghan has been here since before Friday and the story about a child or children being unwell is bogus, as she has been spotted partying, drinking excessively and is enjoying herself - without her husband or her children, but she does have an older guy with her, and she couldn’t get enough of him at a restaurant on Sunday where I saw her again … I’m very certain that she is divorcing him and she has no intention whatsoever in keeping the children either. I am not sure who the guy was but he looked in his 40/50s if not older. She is using the movie premiere as a way to get away with this man undercover it seems.

The movie premiere anon is referring to is the new Bob Marley movie, One Love, that's apparently happening right now (Jan 23, 2024, 9pm EST).

It's a very random appearance. Neither of them have any connections to Bob Marley (that I'm aware of).

I've seen so many fanfictions where Feng Xin and Jian Lan have an amicable divorce and split custody of Cou Cou, and I really want to read one where they have a battle in court for him. The Heavenly Officials are watching and making comments. Pei Ming is eating pop corn. Ling Wen is tired. Mu Qing is trying to figure out why he's here. All of ghost city is there as well. Just a chaotic court room where Feng Xin and Jian Lan fight over who gets their son on what days. They've almost agreed on how long each parent gets him, it's just a ridiculous spat over who gets Wednesday and Saturday.
