(This took me a bit ngl, I couldn't concentrate but uhhh hehe I did it!)

So for I think for the first live, it wasn't working properly and he was like "is it thing on?" So he ended it after a little and then restarted it

He finally got it to work 🤩 anyways he said his cute little hellos and stuff welcoming us and then started talking about what he was doing. He was resting in the hotel after he had gotten some churros. (He fr got me craving some so I went to buy some of my own) anyways.....he said he ate a lot but couldn't finish them so jongho came and got the rest. (I want to be jongho so bad)

Atiny were asking him to show his face but he said he was bare faced and wasn't very comfortable with doing that yet. He said in a later live he would, but for this one he was just going to speak. (He has mentioned that he wasn't very confident in his bare face but bros literally so beautiful I tear up everytime I see him)

He talked about their concert in jeddah and how much fun he had being able to see atiny jump around and have fun. He said he was happy and enjoyed it a lot, he was able to end the concert happily and well.

I think someone had pointed out his lowkey stuffy nose but he said it wasn't a cold or anything, not to worry, his sinuses were just a little swollen. He tried curing it with ice but when he had asked for some, he didn't know that he had to pay. He said the bag of ice came with a receipt and he was so confused. He thought it was free but then sounded like an old man by saying "this generation...." 💀💀 he now knows that he is getting billed from now on when he asks for ice.

A few atiny asked about the games he was playing and animal crossing, but he said he hadn't played much in a while and that he was into Zelda at the moment. He even tried getting wooyoung to buy it so they could play (I'll play with u Hwa 🥺)

He talked a little about the summer photobook coming out, he said that those were take a while ago and he didn't really remember the shooting much. (Apparently there's water involved???? 🤨)

He also kinda spoke about the new magazine shoot for cosmopolitan and that he had lots of behind the scenes pics that he wanted to show us. He can only post 10 on insta tho (ateez solo Instas when kq?) He said it was hard to choose but he'll show us

Someone asked if he was tired or sleepy (cuz of his voice) and he said no actually he was adjusting well to the time zones and is well rested. He said the private jet had some comfy beds and he felt like he fell right through it, that's how soft it is. (I'm lowkey jealous, take me with u seonghwa) someone else asked if it was just the members, he said no there was 13 of them (both members and some staff)

A few atinys asked if he could do lives often and he said, if he didn't have to show his face he would. He just likes talking to us and it's really nice and comfortable for him to do lives like this (got me crying or whatever 🤧 ) he agreed with a comment that said it was like a phone call

He was looking at the time back in korea and said that it was getting late so he had to go. He said that even though he still had some more time in his day, many atiny were going to bed and some were starting there's so he was going to let us go now. He said his cute little goodbyes and ended the live

In this day and age, even real journalists are struggling with what it means to report news when facts can so easily be falsified and truth is so slippery-- how much more so your humble fandom chronicler, with no access whatsoever to the players in our stories! Fandom in general is nothing but grasping at shadows on the Walls(tm) and trying to make sense of it all without ever being allowed to see the real events, and being very aware that not only that, everyone involved in telling the stories is actively trying to mislead us, usually in multiple wildly different directions (truly unfortunate for a fandom more terrified of uncertainty than any group of people I’ve ever come across). Add in technology that makes it near impossible to discern the real from the fake and well… you start to understand the appeal of NFTs I guess! Given a truly verifiable DM screenshot someone could probably get a good bidding war going am I right?! I personally would pay good money for yall to start blockchain verifying your damn receipts (HOW sad am I that this isn’t really how NFTs work, imagine if they were actually so useful!)

Luckily, in fact things pretty much always turn out to be way simpler than fandom makes them, and usually it’s possible to get to what’s most likely the truth eventually. In this case: that Louis DMed Jedward! (In almost every other case, of course, it’s that things have been faked, screen recording or no, so this is the exception to the rule.) Anyway today saw some dramatic debunking of a DM from Louis, but then that debunking was (less dramatically) itself debunked, meaning if you’re just coming on board now you’re WINNING cause the whole middle part could be totally skipped and we are now back to the beginning and all of that can be ignored. And thank god, trying to understand it as fake when it seemed (to me) so obviously real was doing my head in (see tortured opening monologue.) So, the series of events goes like so: Jedward got up early this morning and continued to tweet about the industry and Syco and 1D, growing increasingly hysterical (“Justice is gonna be served!”, “You can’t silence the truth! Nobody can drag me down!”...uhhh that’s a lot for 6 AM damn) and then, boom, dropped a pic of a DM... from Louis!! In it he writes (the night before) “you guys have lost the plot hahahahaha you must be high”, lolll. Why would they make up him saying that, why would a faked message not be like “yeah right on” or something?! I mean, is he wrong-- what ARE they doing?? ARE they high? What is their endgame, other than getting attention to promote their new music, in talking so much about 1D and Little Mix? Louis is, as usual, asking the real questions, and more importantly, without actually giving anything away or committing to anything. Additionally I wondered if he may have wanted to sort of disrupt the narrative that he unfollowed them because he supported their message and wanted more people to see it (which you have to admit is a, uh, counter-intuitive conclusion and not remotely the most obvious way to interpret an unfollow); he may in fact wish people would shut up about his business and let him handle it himself as he sees fit, as he’s indicated many times in the past in similar situations.

Some people are enthused about Jedward’s crusade though, and happy to speak publicly about it- Nicholas Liddle chimes in about some of their points to say “from a journalist AND publicist standpoint I can confirm this”, plus “Louis Tomlinson is one of the most sweetest, genuine, unproblematic artists...take it for what you will,” and “stream Walls,” aw. Singer Lily Allen congratulates Jedward on “being iconic” and says yes, she agrees with what they’re saying.

AND there are actual OTHER THINGS GOING ON: Liam for example!! He’s got a beautiful bushy mane of lion locks and he’s tweeting about NFTs, are he and Louis twinning or what?! Liam actually let a pap get a glimpse of him though, unlike SOOOME Louis’- he was photographed in a parking garage looking like he really wished he had a jacket. According to the pap captions he was outside a TV studio in London and “gearing up for his BAFTAS performance”. Well idk about all that but I do know that he was looking good! Additionally he posted “I’ve had my eye on NFTs for a minute now and love this new piece” and goes on to promote some animated digital art featuring his old collab buddy Zedd, and to say that he’s gotten a few pieces by the artist and “can’t wait to get more!” He shares a still from one that he bought from the same people (who have been doing tour visuals for years apparently).

And Niall’s back with the aesthetic pics! We got scenery, we got a studio pic, we got scrumptious desserts and stylish selfies and we got a PUPPY, hell yeah! Hitting ALL the insta bases there (well, he could show a little titty…? but other than that…) Oh yeah and did I mention-- tiny song snippets!! Nice. What’s he working up to I wonder? what do you think *is* going on with richard and dougs? i haven’t been able to figure out their vibe since his bday but i know they’ve been hanging out

withouoh hello so ik this is two months old and I suck for not getting to it sooner but it’s been in my drafts I swear. I’m kind of gonna do a long post w my theories so it’s all clear and people don’t have to look through my whole blog for the details, so here we go. 

ok so from what we know, Richard met Olivia at the 2019 AMAs in mid-October of that year. He followed her at the time, they probably started talking and hung out a bit at the time. then we don’t see them in the same place until New Years when she’s at their NYE show in New York. Could they have hung out together before then? I hope so, because if their first date was across the country and with his mom then olivia, hon, idk what you were thinking. but they’d also known each other for just over three months and both were at the height of their careers at the time. olivia was posting nearly constantly with new dances and shoots and uhhh. none of them were in Miami. so unless Richard was hidden away in her LA flat while a doppelganger did all his QQS promo for him, then they didn’t see each other that often. 

So, we see them together on NYE, and at that point, we can assume it’s a relatively new relationship. Then we see nothing about either of them until Cancun. of course, we can assume they hung out before that. Olivia did a lot of traveling around the US and spent a good chunk of time in Florida, but she was in Perdido Key which is nowhere near Miami. that’s like if my ex was in Aswan and I was in Cairo everyone assumed we were hanging out, yk? CNCO was maybe a little less busy around this time, especially later in quarantine, but I think we can assume quite safely while they definitely hung out and saw each other it wasn’t that often. Certainly, there was no evidence to suggest they were steady enough for it to be a relationship. Anyway ik none of this is about Doug but i feel like it’s important backstory for when she enters the picture in August. Richard has known olivia for a while, but how much time could they have realistically spent together when both were so busy and living on opposite sides of the country? can it really have been called a serious relationship up until this point? I sincerely doubt that, at most they were hooking up. 

Anyway, we all know Rich meets Doug from the Beso mv, and immediately she’s everywhere. he’s liking her pics and reposting her on his insta stories. She’s at his house and with his cat. it’s obvious she’s going out of her way to publicise the time she spends with him, and it’s possible olivia spent time with him that we didn’t see, but I also don’t think that would be feasible just logistically. then he takes olivia to cancun and is liking Dougs pics WHILE THERE which?? definitely a fuckboy move lmao. but after the trip, Olivia is back in LA doing her own thing w countless photoshoots and richard is back in Miami.. spending very visible time with doug. 

This goes on. we kind of see them both around a little for a while until in December olivia posts that she just got dumped. Then Doug is at his birthday with aaliyah and all over him after beso until she randomly disappears. 

Ok, time to pause and give my opinion. there’s this narrative in fandom that like, olivia and rich were exclusive and he cheated on her with Doug, and like one relationship was more meaningful than the other. Personally? I see the exact same pattern repeating itself twice lol. 

he meets a girl. he’s obsessed FAST. they meet his family without knowing him for long. Does that mean much to him? No. He’ll fly them out and pamper them and have them around a lot. Does THAT mean a lot? nope. He tells them what they want to hear but I doubt he ever commits, becuase we fucking know him. And then he gets bored or meets someone new or has bigger shit to deal with and moves on. plain and simple. Like, I don’t think it’s as deep as someone getting cheated on. Maybe hurt, but I doubt there was enough of a relationship for there to be commitment. Doug, to me, was just another random hookup. he’s probably still keeping her around for when he’s bored, since it’s convenient af to have her in Miami, but he’s not committed. Honestly, Lydia, I love you. Like, go for it. Nothing wrong with not wanting to date and just wanting to have fun. My issues stem from YOU BEING 16. Yes, teenagers have sex. But this is ridiculous. Interview with the Horans!

This is a compilation of questions I’ve received for Niall and Delilah to answer and I did it as if they were sitting down doing an interview, I hope you enjoy and that it helps give you an insight into the lives of the Horans! Q: How did you two meet?

Niall: At an after party of a sports event I believe? She’s gonna kill me if I got it wrong. 

Delilah: Really? An after party? You’re so annoying. We met at a sports event that I didn’t want to go too but my friend Phoebe dragged me to it and I ran into Niall at the bar it was all super casual.

Niall: Ya sure, if ya call her almost knockin me over ta order a bloody drink casual. 

Q: How did you ask Delilah to be your girlfriend? 

Niall: Oh god uh I jus sat her down and asked her if she wanted to be exclusive an she laughed at me cos she was like “who the hell uses the term exclusive? you’re such an old man” dat was probably after we had been on like four or so dates. I jus enjoyed bein round her. 

Delilah: It was super cute, he gets all blushy and adorable. He was nervous and I have no clue as to why, he had already asked to share my calendar with him to see what dates work for us and everything. Like that’s a pretty big deal. 

Q: What’s a normal day in the life like for the Horans?

Niall: nine times outta ten shes up before me, she was like dat even before the girls. She can stay awake till six in da bloody mornin and be up at eight ready to rock n roll. S’a bit disturbin, but our days when M’not on tour are very like every other married couples... jus wit a set of twins.

Delilah: We go on a walk in the mornings, we’ve been doing that ever since I was pregnant, and while on the walk is when we lay out the game plan for the day. So if he has any meetings or anything he’ll tell me so I can plan my day around it. So like yesterday he had a photo shoot for something-

Niall: Cos m’a model now. Just so ya know.

Delilah: Right...so anyway he had his model thing so the girls and I brought him lunch and he was home at a decent time to help with their bedtime routine.

Niall: I feel like we are pretty normal ta be honest like we don’t do a lot of extravagant shit.

Delilah: Not anymore no.

Niall: We were never like jet settin on tons of trips and stuff we’ve always kinda just went from New York to California. We like ta lay low.

Delilah: As low as a former member of one of the largest boy bands in the world can lay....he forgets who he is sometimes. But yes we do kinda just stick to the two places and don’t go out much unless it’s to dinner because I like to eat out a lot. It’s a problem that I’m working on. Oh and Niall likes to go to parties without me but that’s not typically part of a normal day in the life of us.

Niall: M’not even gonna go der wit you.

Q: Speaking of parties, Delilah it’s pretty obvious you don’t like being left at home while Niall goes and has fun.

Delilah: Yeah he’s an asshole. He met Post Malone while I was at home trying to get comfy with my damn pregnancy pillow! And him and Shawn just are super annoying when they get drunk together. But I don’t mind him having his bro time and going out without me, I just like being dramatic.

Niall: Yeah m’da worst at like tryin ta plan parties and invitin her cos half the time they are so last minute and I know she does not do last minute.

Delilah: No I need at least four hours to prepare myself to be around people and to like get dressed and all that not so fun stuff. 

Q: Who said I love you first?

Niall: She did. During an argument matter of fact, it was pretty memorable. 

Delilah: I said it during a moment of passion Niall James not a full blown argument. it was like a “God why do I have to love you so much?” Don’t make it sound so dramatic. 

Niall: M’pretty sure yelling it in the middle of a “passionate argument” is the same as jus sayin it in an argument babe but okay. 

Delilah: It’s totally different, you’re just a dumb boy you wouldn't understand.

Q: Rumor has it you two broke up briefly while Niall was on tour just after releasing Flicker. Is that true? 

Delilah: Yes it’s true. Couples take breaks. Look at Ross and Rachel, it worked out fine for them. 

Niall: Really ya gonna bring Ross and Rachel into dis? They suffered fo a few years before actually bein happy...

Delilah: I mean are you upset that I forgave you too soon? 

Q: Why did you two break up?

Delilah: Yeah Niall why did we break up?

Niall: She was at first then I’d say it was pretty even once we got a bit mo serious. We always had a good long chat at the end of each day tho no matter if we only exchanged two texts throughout the day.

Delilah: I think after the first two years it just switched and it’s been for the most part pretty nice. I think at first the fans just didn’t know how serious this was going to be and everyone legit loves Niall so they wanted to make sure I was worthy of him. after graduation matteo and jonas go on a couchsurfing roadtrip across europe for a few months and at first matteo thought it was a cool idea but the closer it gets the more he dreads it because it means being apart from david and david basically has to drag him out of bed the morning he’s supposed to leave (before that though they have a sweet discussion while cuddling in bed where matteo is being pretty vulnerable about all his more or less (mostly less) reasonable concerns about leaving, like them drifting apart or david finding someone else while he’s gone and david keeps reassuring him that everything is gonna be fine and he’ll have a great time and they’ll talk on the phone every day)

david stays in berlin because he got into film school and he has no time to waste when it comes to pursuing his dream and while matteo is gone, david moves into his room at the wg (matteo’s father keeps paying rent and david doesn’t really like that but matteo tells him that his father would have to keep paying rent either way or else he’d lose his room and also david needs all the money he makes from his job to pay for tuition and also his father sucks so he can at least do this one thing) and ofc his flat mates love him.

matteo keeps taking really shitty pictures of famous sights for his instagram, like a pic of the eiffel tower mostly obscured by a street lamp or a selfie of him leaning against a column of the colosseum, taken from so close up that all you can see of the thing is a bit of stone beside his head, captioning it as “at the colosseum”. he does make jonas take actually nice pictures of him at interesting places tho, but he only sends those to david. 

one night when they’re videochatting, matteo complains that david never posts pictures of himself on insta, and david is like “why?” and matteo says “because i want to see you.” and david says “but you’re seeing me right now” and matteo says “yeah, but once i end this call i don’t see you anymore” and david rolls his eyes fondly but from then on starts sending matteo a picture of him every day.

they start out as simple selfies, just a quick pic as he’s leaving the house in the morning but over time they get more and more elaborate. he starts actually posing and makes other people take the picture and by the end they’re more often than not really elaborate “scenes” that require actual set-up and forethought and he tells actual little stories over multiple days. it’s quite a bit of work but david enjoys thinking up new scenarios for pictures.

one day david doesn’t send a picture and matteo is immediately alarmed and when they talk in the evening, david tries to pretend that he simply forgot the picture and that everything’s fine but matteo doesn’t buy it and after some coaxing david tells him that he just had a bad day; stress at school, problems at work, just normal stuff really but matteo is THIS close to just dropping everything and going back to berlin but david talks him out of it.

they miss each other a lot but they keep telling themselves and each other that they’ll soon see each other again.

one day, matteo and jonas are in a bigger city and jonas takes matteo to the airport and matteo is like “wtf are we doing at the airport?” and jonas is like “uhhh, there’s this one specific shop i need to go to that’s only in the airport” and matteo is annoyed but then he sees david walking through a throng of people with his little backpack and matteo all but throws himself at him. 

david and jonas had been plotting behind matteo’s back, david is gonna stay in whatever city they’re in for a few days, they even organized a hotel room for david and matteo to stay for the time. when jonas drops them off at the hotel he says “but try not to stay in the room the whole time david’s here.” matteo gives him the finger.

they spend quite a lot of time in the hotel room. but they also find time to explore the city together and to hang out with jonas and their couchsurfing host one evening before david has to leave again. 

the goodbyes are painful but it’s only a few more weeks.

the last few weeks are tough but they make it.

when jonas and matteo are finally back in berlin they get a big surprise party by all their friends at the wg but all matteo wants to do is... to be with david. so after he greeted everyone the two of them sneak off into matteo’s - david’s - room.

when matteo enters the room he’s a bit overwhelmed by how DAVID the space has become; there’s drawings and story boards all over the walls, art supplies and camera equipment strewn all over the place, david moved the furniture a little to better suit his needs.

matteo has never liked his room more.

the person who helped her create her site: unlikely friends too! lia needed help from someone who knew about websites and how to keep her content protected she put an ad on craigslist like 4 years ago when she started to go pro and ever since then they meet up for maintenance of it. lia considers them a friend, enough to trust them to view her content to make sure there’s no viruses being leaked or people trying to steal her stuff. it’s great too because this person always looks unbothered seeing what lia does on screen and lia appreciates it a lot because even her closest friends who know about what she does have never seen her page.

OKAY, I can type now, sorta??? Ive calmed down enough??? So Sunday was great! Hectic but Great! My mom and I got lost throughout the entire morning as to where the experience was. So we missed some of it. But some nice ladies led us to where they were at the main theater and made some arrangements. As we got there THEY WERE PLAYING THE TRANSFORMERS PRIME THEME SONG AS THEIR ENTRANCE. I wanted to CRY. I felt so nostalgic.😭💙But ofc I was too anxious to do so. Haha. So we sat down, watched the panel. It was a great panel as always! Videos will come soon.(If insta will let me) but after the panel we were told to wait somewhere convenient so we went near the backstage area and waited to go into the backstage. They told us to come in moments later. There was so many people in the room but then I saw Peter first thing and froze completely. All I could do is smile and nod my head the first few minutes. Then I was like thinking “wait, wheres frank?” Then I see him on the left and I’m like “oh crap HES RIGHT THERE”. I had a delayed reaction and stepped back a bit xD But we talked for a short bit and they signed a couple of my things. I got them to sign the art of Prime and the posters I had got from the con the day before! Before Peter got to me though he was apparently talking to my mother who told him my heart story(I think) and stuff like that and thats when he asked if he could hug me. He honestly gives good hugs. ;u; and before that it was kinda funny he was looking at me when my mom was talking about me and I was like “UHHH WHAT DO I DO?????” It was hilarious. Liam is, as the update accounts keep telling us very seriously, coming. I'm begging you, please find a better way to talk about his imminent release... I mean, the new single, his single! Dear god. Anyway! He was papped last night (is his hair frosted?? waiting for more pics, probably just the lighting), then today sent a puzzle out to Facebook fans, pieces of a picture that assembled show the cover of the new single, which was then posted, it's him, and we have a date! Stack It Up will be out Sept 18, after Madrid, so perhaps we'll get it the first time via livestream? A brief audio snippet was posted today but so very very brief alas, not much of a clue still. Pre-saves are available now, and more interviews are being teased every day, we'll soon be drowning in them. Looks like there's coordination with the song and clothing collection promo, with Hugo promoting the song on their insta today and a Bloomingdale's appearance the day after the song comes out... Liam also complained about his Uber being late, I would start to suspect more cross promotion with how much he talks about them except uh clearly not; he just really takes em everywhere I guess? Louis' bandmate Zak posted a pic from rehearsal to his instagram story that included the second half of a setlist (then deleted it and went on private), very exciting, much freaking out over confirmation that the cover Louis is playing is Mr Brightside, yes, Louis is going to be on stage singing 'coming out of my cage and I'm doing just fine' and about gender indeterminate jealousy in like four days. Yeah. Remember like two days ago when Louis told us it was all about the lyrics for him? I SURE DO. Then Louis just flat out posted the whole ass set list WTF! So: for Madrid we've got Two Of Us, Little Black Dress, Just Hold On, KMM as an encore, cool yes, and now the real news; four new songs, titled Habit, Don't Let It Break, Defenseless, and Too Young. (Notably, none of these is We Made It, or ** **** it. Interesting.) And, the second 1D cover is, drumroll, STEAL MY GIRL! SMG is, of course, a song about Harry, but more to the point it has for years been the subject of much fan discussion easily boiled down to, SMG is about Harry, so yeah, that's A CHOICE. Also it's a fucking bop and I can't wait! Anyway thank you Louis, that was brilliantly done because now we get to talk about these choices and the lyrics and absorb them at our leisure, and our attention to the new music won't be divided when we get to hear it.
