So... you're telling me that a Gotham Knights TV show is gonna be released this year and it's supposed to centered around the "batfamily" but instead of using any of his 7 kids that are already Canon in the DC universe.

(Characters that fans would literally kill to see on a TV show, interacting together--hopefully getting cool scenes of them being siblings--and being the focus of the show.)

They decided to create a rando kid named Turner Hayes to be Bruce Wayne's adopted son, a character created SOLEY for the purposes of this show.

I- ughhhhhhhhhhhh...

One of the many reasons people liked the Gotham Knights game was because it had actual, beloved characters of the Batfamily, doing what the fans wanted: acting like a family.

I just don't understand how DC continually does this. Makes shit with things that people actually want and still manage to fuck it up.

Sooo theories/thoughts on what the ripped out pages say...

- Turner's parents were also killed by the Court of Owls

- Bruce accidentally had something to do with/is connected to the death of Turner's biological parents

- Either of these revelations could cause Turner to turn down the path of darkness and vengeance that Bruce always admired him for resisting (ooooh character arc)

- if Turner says "I am vengeance"....

I recently rewatched the first 9 episodes of Gotham Knights, and on this viewing, something didn’t sit right with me about Dr. Chase Meridian, so I kept an eye on all the masked members of the Court, and I’m fairly certain this is her.

Watching last nights Gotham Knights, and damn do they do a good job with those Court of Owls masks. So fucking creepy.

There’s quite literally no point in watching new/ongoing shows anymore cause they’re all going to get canceled after season 1 because they didn’t immediately because international sensations. These media companies need to realize they’re never gonna get the same numbers as they got during early quarantine when everyone was home.

networks and streamers cancelling shows they *can't* afford is insane. they can't afford the shows they create, they underpay their writers, and yet they rake in profit and return it to shareholders: 

can someone please explain this shit? bc all i see is tptb cancelling beloved shows and crying poormouth then turning huge profits and caring more about money than the point of the business they're actually in:

they turn a profit by gutting their assets.
