im actually in the same boat with being gender fluid and my legal name

i dont mind having a feminine name, in fact one of my preferred names IS feminine

but the name itself just isnt me and ive resented that for a long time. now im not sure if i dislike it because i actually dislike the name or if i dislike it because i needed to in order to realize my identity

(i have a few classmates with the name as well and it's kinda 😖 for me. but at least thats more reason for my teachers to call me my preferred name)

Paulina smiled politely. Sweet innocence dripped from her like syrup.

"Say that again?" She asks the government worker. Dash, Star, and Kwan were standing a bit behind the girl. The man who had walked up to the young adults sweats slightly.

"Uh." Now Paulina knows that Amity Park had been a dead zone for over 30 years. Even before that the town was so removed from the country that no one outside of the town knew the town existed. It wasn't her fault that the government before the isolation had claimed it as a radiation zone. "I asked if there are any issues with your transition back into earth?" The man asks. Kwan snorts.

"No." Paulina says. Her smile bordering on creepy as she stares down the man. "Well actually. All you government men are making it very hard to study sometimes. Always sticking your noses in other people's business." Her hair starts to move like snakes as she steps closer to the man. He looks uncomfortable.

"I wouldn't look her in the eyes in a minute!" Dash warns with a smirk. The man looks away quickly and walks away in a hurry. Paulina hisses angerly and huffs.

"Why are they so interested in us now?" Star asks. Dash shrugs.

"we are a town of people that have reappeared after 30 years. I'm not too surprised." Dash says as he walks over to Paulina while talking to Star. He tugs Paulina into a hug, covering her eyes before she glares at a resident. "Come on Medusa. Let's get you calmed down." He jokes with the smaller woman.

"Fine." She looks down and lets Dash guide her to an empty room. Star and Kwan trailing after the two.

He's been babied by the rest of the Waynes so what'll happen if Danny suddenly show up in the family being ± 2/3 years younger than him... Traumatized kid who thinks Damien's pretty cool yk.... The rest of the Waynes are pretty damn impressed that he hasn't killed Danny yet for being curious about him...Damian doesn't know why he's letting the newest stowaway follow him around either?

Eventually being Danny's favorite sibling (Totally not because he could go all out sparring with Dami. What? Psshh, no...) And the first name he screams when he's in trouble.

Your creation must follow only one rule: It must be inspired by a fusion of 1. any fandom of your choice, and 2. one of the featured Haggerty pieces (click the link to see them!)

Completed works are due July 1, 2024. The exhibition will run August 23rd-December 22nd, 2024, and will be available to view in person and online.

You know what? I’m feelin’ a Prompt with the whole halfa family, all the clones and everything. 

See, Danny? He’s grown up, he’s moved out, started looking at colleges himself after spending a few years travelling and learning about himself without the threat of a ghost attack. 

He’s kept in touch with his friends, both living and dead, and ignores Vlad for the most part now that they’ve reached a truce of sorts, and honestly? He’s just living his life. 

But see, it’s kind of hard to figure out what college to pick, with his admittedly not-great choices. Look, he might have a new-ish ID but he’s still visibly not exactly human (though thankfully doesn’t have to worry about the GIW after a… summer activity that ended with several missing buildings) 

And most people he goes to? Finds him ‘too unsettling’ which excuse him?? How is he unsettling? He’s a twenty-five year old with six kids ranging from one to six! How is that “scary” huh? Ancients, and all this is making him use the cash he’s saved up over time. 

And then- as though all of this isn’t stressful enough and he’s not genuinely worried that he won’t have enough money to feed the kids if he goes to school- a hero nearly trips over Jordan and starts freaking out. He is so fucking done.
