yeah i made artwork of that submission of mine lmao. this was more of an experiment to get vibrancy back into my paintings. even if the skin gets rejected i will most likely print it anyway :^)

On hatchling skins in festivals, Source. Text under the cut.

We are still working out the specifics. In the meantime, I can assure you that:

Any changes or additions to the skins and festivals will happen with a new festival cycle. Ie: Brightshine Jubilee 2024 kicks off a new cycle of festivals. No changes or additions will be in effect for Greenskeeper Gathering 2024.

Our approach here is that any hatchling skins that are festival skins and a part of gameplay, will be that they are in addition to, not in replacement of adult skins. Everyone can use adult dragon skins. Hatchling skins, however, require an eternal youth scroll to apply, something not everyone has access to.

And to reiterate what Aequorin said, the suggestions forum is a great place to offer up ideas on hatchling skins and festivals.

Comments: Was looking at the two aberration accents that came out in today’s Greenskeeper Gathering festival, and decided I wanted a new tree dragon pair to wear them. Yrthraz’s secondary and tertiary colours are just outside what I normally look for, as spruce is arguably the last of the greens in that direction, but it was the colour that’s the closest match to the foliage in the accent (and unlike spruce was available in an already gened up aberration), so I decided to go with it anyway.

Yrthraz is the name he came with.

Comments: Decided to put together a second pair of tree dragons to wear this year’s Greenskeeper Gathering accents (yay dom discount for genes). Was amused after I bought this guy - after testing him out in the dressing room - to see that the seller already had a picture of him in this accent in his bio area.

Went back and forth on his secondary a bit - on the one hand, the mate I found for him (to wear one of the three female accent options) had a gem secondary as well (butterfly), but on the other hand I vastly preferred her in a treasure gene. Almost changed them both (to safari on him vs clouded on her), then at the last minute decided I really preferred the look of bee on him, and I also like safari enough that I don’t care if bee only has a 1% chance of showing up against it. So he got to keep his shiny gem gene secondary but she got changed to what he’d have had.

Also, why do I have so many spirals with spines tert!?
