he's my second clown sculpture since baby and i'm proud of his growth!! most of the way there, all he has to do now is dry. after that is a nice coat of underglaze before firing. i'm documenting him as well as i can because he's got lots of hairline fractures along his joints and i'm scared he might not survive his first fire. wish him luck !!!
There’s a show coming up, and I think I’m going to be able to eke this thing out in time to enter it!
You can probably see some lighter spots of the red; that is from where I scratched some away in order to neaten up some lines. They should even out once fired.
im still figuring out what i like and don't like about the outfit + stance combo. the problem is once i chose a pose it gets hard to adjust it without compromising the whole piece so i have to work around design decisions i made weeks ago and old sam was very uncool with their choices
also documenting lots because i don't know if it'll survive past conception let alone a bisque fire
