Best Sales Funnel Builder Software In 2021
Tumblr media
If you have been looking for the best sales funnel builder for your business, you’ve come to the right place. I’m going to run you through the top 11 options on the market, alongside all the info you need to make the choice that’s right for your business.
This list also includes a great variety with some being managed solutions, while others are plugins for WordPress. So whatever you are looking for, this list will have you covered.
Best Sales Funnel Builder Software Tools
Below, I’ve listed all the best funnel builder tools on the market. Make sure to also check the pros and cons bullet points of each one to see which suits your needs best.
GrooveFunnels (Best FREE Version and Suited For Most Types of Businesses)
GrooveFunnels is a funnel builder that only launched last year, but has already become extremely popular in the industry.
It’s a true all-in-one solution that gives you pretty much everything you need to start and scale an online business. The only bad thing about GrooveFunnels is that it’s still in beta, meaning some of the features are not available/fully-developed yet. However, that won’t be the case for long as the developer team are constantly working on adding all the features, and making sure everything is fully functional.
Since it launched last year, they have already added an incredible number of features. In fact, more than most other funnel builders on the market. So, it’s a great option, as it gives you everything you need to create entire sales funnels starting from your pages going to your membership sites and email sequences.
I also do not doubt that the features will be coming, because they have added so many in such a short period of time. Additionally, Mike Filsaime who is one of the founders has also been involved in other successful SaaS projects in the past.
Below is a list of all the features you get with this funnel builder software solution. If you want more detailed info then you can read my in-depth GrooveFunnels review here.

Try GrooveFunnels (No Credit Card Needed)
Kartra (Best For Agencies)
Kartra is a piece of software that was created by Genesis Digital. It’s very similar to GrooveFunnels because Mike Filsaime used to be a part of Genesis Digital.
The similarities are mainly in terms of features, and also the overall style of the software. GrooveFunnels has a few more features, but Kartra is fully developed, and also has some unique selling points of its own like the Behavior-Adaptive-Marketing feature.
The behavior-adaptive-marketing feature allows you to make your pages change automatically based on the behavior of your visitors. This can increase your conversions, and it’s the only funnel builder on this list that has it, so I thought it was worth mentioning.
If you’re looking for a solid all-in-one funnel builder that can run almost everything, besides your blog, Kartra is a solid option. It does have some templates for blog pages, but you simply can’t compare those to what’s coming to GrooveFunnels, or if you were to use WordPress (.org).
Features
Kartra Checkouts
Kartra Leads
Kartra Pages
Kartra Mail
Kartra Funnels and Campaigns
Kartra Memberships

GetResponse (Best For Email Marketing)
GetResponse was founded in 1998 and was initially just an autoresponder. However, as the company grew, they started adding more features. Today, GetResponse is also a complete funnel builder that lets you build your marketing funnels including your landing and sales pages, webinars, and of course your email sequences.
Something that makes GetResponse pretty unique is its Automated Conversion funnel feature which is a feature that allows you to visualize your funnel steps and edit them from there. Not only this, but it also shows you metrics such as the visitors, opt-ins, and sales for every step of your funnel. This is great for identifying what is working, so you can make the needed tweaks.
It also actually has some done-for-you lead magnets which you can use if you’re in a marketing-related niche. These are very generic such as “Ways Increase Conversions” but they might be useful to you if that’s what your business is about.
Overall, I think GetResponse is a pretty solid funnel builder, even though that is not what they started out to be, and deserves a spot on this list.
Below is a summary of all the features and pricing, but if you want more info then you can read my in-depth GetResponse review here.
Features
Email creator
Behavior-based email automation sequences
Email Newsletters
Autoresponders (basic automated emails)

ClickFunnels (Most Popular)
I think most of you would have heard of ClickFunnels. Since it was founded by Russel Brunson in 2014, it has become the most popular funnel builder on the market, with over 120,000 (paying) members.
Although it aims to be an “all-in-one” platform, some of the other options on this list for example GrooveFunnels, do have more features. However, that doesn’t mean that ClickFunnels is not as good, it’s just a little different.
There have been endless marketers and business owners who have had big success with ClickFunnels. And it’s used by many successful entrepreneurs in the internet marketing industry, especially in the education field. Some examples include people like Kevin David, Alex Becker, or Spencer Mecham. Although they aren’t all the most popular marketers, they have all generated over 7 figures using ClickFunnels, which shows what’s possible with this piece of software.
The main reason why users love ClickFunnels is that it’s easy to use and beginner-friendly, but it’s robust enough to handle 100,000’s of thousands of visitors.
Plus, it also has a lot of additional educational material from Russel and the ClickFunnels team which is super helpful too. For example, the Funnel Hack-A-Thons which are weekly live group coaching sessions. As you can imagine, ClickFunnels’ users love these and find them extremely helpful.
Overall, this list would not have been complete without ClickFunnels. If you’re looking for a funnel-builder with a great community, some nice features, and an incredible amount of educational material, ClickFunnels is a great option for you.
Features
Drag and Drop page builder
Selection of templates
Checkouts and Sales
Live webinar funnels

ClickFunnels Two Comma ClubX: $2,497 per month
Try ClickFunnels
LeadPages
LeadPages is another great option that makes it very easy to build mobile-responsive websites. Just like most of the other options on this list, you just need to select a template and start editing it using their drag and drop builder.
Their main focus is landing pages, so they don’t have an autoresponder or any other features built-in. However, their impressive list of integrations makes up for this. Plus, you also can collect unlimited leads on all plans which is quite good too.
I also like their templates as they look very clean and modern.
If you’re looking for a tool that doesn’t break the bank to help you easily build your pages, LeadPages could be a great fit.
Features
Websites
Landing pages

Try LeadPages
SamCart (Best For Shopping Carts)
SamCart is also another great funnel builder that lets you build awesome pages and carts easily.
It aims to help businesses increase their revenue by helping them create more effective checkout processes. For example, it puts a lot of effort into things like abandoned carts, order bumps, and the checkout experience in general.
It’s a pretty solid piece of software that can definitely help businesses make more sales.
However, it doesn’t come with an autoresponder or many other features like some of the earlier pieces of software. This shouldn’t be a problem, as SamCart has a decent list of integrations.
If you feel that your business could do with a better checkout experience and some little tweaks to increase conversions, SamCart could be the perfect solution.
Below is a list of the features you get, but if you want more info then you can read my in-depth review of SamCart here.
Features

Try SamCart
CartFlows (Best Funnel Builder For WordPress
CartFlows is a WordPress plugin that uses the WooCommerce checkout process. It’s known to be one of the only solutions that allows WooCommerce users to build sales funnels.
It has pretty much everything you’d want from a sales funnel builder such as order bumps, one-click upsells and downsells.
The main reason why you would use this plugin is if you wanted to use WooCommerce. Otherwise, you can use a managed funnel-builder like most of the options on this list. We’ll also cover another WordPress funnel builder with more features later on.
Still, it’s a pretty impressive plugin that lets you turn WordPress and WooCommerce into a sales funnel builder.
Below is a list of features you get with this WP plugin, but if you want more info then you can read my full, in-depth review of the CartFlows WordPress funnel plugin here.
Features
Nice Templates.
Unlimited Funnels.

Edit the fields in the checkout

Cartflows Pro 30 sites lifetime license: $999 one-time
Try CartFlows
DropFunnels (Best Managed Builder For Blogging)
DropFunnels is also one of the newer funnel building platforms on the market. Its main aim is to provide its users with all the benefits of an easy to use sales funnel builder, while also having the benefits of running on WordPress like blogging and SEO capabilities.
It does this pretty well, as it comes with an easy-to-use page builder, and is powered by WordPress, meaning the blogging features are great. It’s also a managed solution that comes with built-in speed optimization, so your pages will load nice and fast.
Additionally, it comes with a built-in membership site builder and a CRM. However, there is no autoresponder, but it does integrate with most of the main tools on the market.
The integration list in general, however, does not look too exciting. Apart from the selection of autoresponders, there are just a few affiliate platforms and that’s about it.
Still, overall, DropFunnels is definitely an option to consider. It comes with pretty much the best of both the funnel-building and the blogging world.

Try DropFunnels
Landingi
Landingi’s main focus is landing pages, as the name suggests. From most of the options on this list, Landingi is rather basic, but it’s extremely efficient in what it does.
This is similar to LeadPages, as you will need to use other pieces of software to build your funnels. That being said, it does have email automations, but they are very basic. For most businesses, these will not be enough, and autoresponders like Aweber, ActiveCampaign, or GetResponse would be a better choice.
Plus, if you need features like a CRM, membership sites, etc. you’ll need to integrate quite a lot of software to make it work. It’s still a decent piece of software, but it’s best suited for businesses who just need a fast, but simple page builder.
The main reason I included Landingi is that I really like their selection of modern templates. They can be used to build almost any type of mobile-responsive page very easily.
Features
Page builder
Beautiful selection of templates
Pop-ups
Banners
Mobile-responsive pages
Scheduling for publishing
Integrations
A/B testing
Forms
Anti-spam protection
Export leads
Pros and Cons
Pros:
Beautiful templates
Fast-loading pages
Good list of integrations
Nice conversion tools
Cons:
Limited set of features
Can get quite expensive if you need other software
Pricing
Core $47 per month
Create $89 per month
Automate $127 per month
Try Landingi
Wishpond (Best For Promotions & Referral Marketing)
WishPond is also another funnel builder software that has been around for a long time. Since it was founded in 2009, it has been used by some huge brands like Walmart, CBS, and ESPN.
Its core features are the landing page builder, email automations, and newsletters. However, it also has some cool other features like referral campaigns and social promotions which are its unique selling point (USP).
If you have great ideas for using the social promotion or referral campaign features for your business, it can really help you increase brand awareness and sales. However, if you’re not looking to use those features, then WishPond is probably not worth it, due to the high price.
The pricing plans redirect to a calendar now where you book a meeting. However, when they used to be on the website, I remember it costing around $99 per month for 2500 contacts which is the same as other options on this list that offer way more, for example, Kartra. Or, GrooveFunnels’ free plan does as much as the plan that Wishpond charges $49 per month for.
It also seems like they provide a lot of support for their customers and help them through the process which may also justify the price.
If you know how to use the social promotion and referral campaign features effectively, then Wishpond could be worth it.
Features
Marketing assistant
Online advertising
Social Promotions
Email Marketing
Lead Management
Referral Campaigns
Landing pages
Pop-ups
Cart abandonment
Forms
Call tracking
Marketing automation
Pros and Cons
Pros:
Cool features that can help your business grow
Lots of support
Comes with everything you need to start an online business
Cons:
Limited features
Expensive
Pricing
Pricing has recently been removed from their website, and it redirects to a calendar to book an appointment.
Previously, the pricing looked like this:
Starter: $49 per month
Everything: $99 per month
Growth: $199 per month
I also believe that you would have to be billed annually. However, all of this may have changed since the pricing is no longer on their website.
Try WishPond
ThriveThemes
Our final funnel builder is Thrive Themes which is based on WordPress.
Thrive Themes has a range of WordPress themes and plugins that you get access to with their membership. The themes in case you don’t know are a range of website templates for WordPress.
It also comes with Thrive Architect which is a page builder plugin to help you build beautiful pages. This plugin can also be used for your funnel steps like your squeeze pages, webinar registration, or thank you pages.
What I like about Thrive Themes is that it’s easy to use like a managed page builder, but hosted on WordPress. The only thing that I have noticed is that the pages built with it, seem quite heavy in size and therefore load a little slower.
However, because of the low cost of $240 per year for everything ThriveThemes has to offer, it leaves some space for a decent hosting provider.
Something to also remember is that you will need other pieces of software such as an autoresponder or CRM to build your sales funnel.
Features
Themes and Templates
Thrive Architect
Thrive Leads
Quiz Builder
Evergreen countdown campaigns
Display testimonials
Comments
A/B testing
Clever widgets
Course builder
Pros and Cons
Pros:
Easy To Use
Good SEO/Blogging Capabilities
Affordable
Hosted on WordPress makes it easy to get more features
Cons:
Slow loading pages
The number of themes and plugins can be overwhelming
Only annual and quarterly billing available
Pricing
ThriveThemes Membership:
Annual: $19 per month, billed $228 per year
Quarterly: $30 per month, billed every 3 months
Try ThriveThemes
Best Free Funnel Builder
GrooveFunnels is by far the best free funnel builder. Its free plan is even better than for example WishPond’s $49 per month plan, as it also comes with 500 contacts.
In GrooveFunnels’ free plan you get access to all of its features too, so you already have everything to start your online business.
Try GrooveFunnels (No Credit Card Needed)
Best WordPress Funnel Builder
For WordPress, CartFlows and ThriveThemes are the most compatible.
Cartflows – WordPress Funnel Builder
If you are looking for a free WordPress funnel builder, Cartflows has a basic free version that you can use. It is a little limited as you’d expect for something free, but it still gives you the basics.
Cartflows also has a paid version, which is probably the best WordPress funnel builder, as that’s what it’s been specifically designed for.
Try CartFlows
ThriveArchitect – WordPress Funnel Builder
Thrive Themes is the other funnel builder for WordPress, it comes with everything you need to build a variety of pages, collect leads data, and also host your membership sites.
The main benefit it has over Cartflows is that it has many additional plugins, so you’ll have more features.
However, you will need external software for your email marketing software and other types of features that you may need.
Try ThriveArchitect
Final Thoughts
That’s it! I hope you have enjoyed this list of the best funnel builder tools. We’ve covered everything from all-in-one solutions like GrooveFunnels to tools that specialize in one aspect of the funnel building process such as LeadPages.
If you have had trouble picking the right option for you, remember that they also mostly have trials. So, you can test them out and see whether they are right for your business.
Overall, I think GrooveFunnels will be suited for most businesses.
Not necessarily the best, but the most suited because of the free plan, and the large list of features.
You can get your free lifetime account using the button below.
