Safeguarding Your Well-being: The Importance of Group Personal Accident Insurance
Tumblr media
In the unpredictable journey of life, unforeseen accidents can disrupt the balance of our daily existence, leading to physical, emotional, and financial consequences. To mitigate the impact of such unfortunate events, Group Personal Accident Insurance emerges as a crucial safety net for individuals within an organization. This form of insurance not only provides financial support but also fosters a sense of security and well-being among members. This article explores the key facets of Group Personal Accident Insurance, its benefits, and why it should be considered an essential component of comprehensive employee welfare programs.
Understanding Group Personal Accident Insurance :
Tumblr media
Group Personal Accident Insurance is a specialized insurance policy designed to offer financial assistance in the event of accidents causing bodily injury, disability, or death. Unlike individual accident policies, group insurance provides coverage to a defined group of individuals, typically employees within an organization. The coverage extends to accidents that occur both within and outside the workplace, ensuring round-the-clock protection.
This type of insurance typically covers a range of scenarios, including but not limited to road accidents, falls, burns, and other accidental injuries. The coverage may encompass medical expenses, disability benefits, and even death benefits, offering a comprehensive support system for individuals and their families during challenging times.
Benefits of Group Personal Accident Insurance :
Financial Protection: One of the primary advantages of Group Personal Accident Insurance is the financial protection it provides. In the aftermath of an accident, the policy ensures that medical expenses are covered, reducing the financial burden on the affected individual and their family.
Tumblr media
Disability Coverage:
In the unfortunate event of a permanent or temporary disability resulting from an accident, the insurance provides disability benefits. This can include compensation for loss of income, rehabilitation costs, and necessary adjustments to the living environment.
Death Benefits:
In case of a fatal accident, the policy offers a lump sum amount to the nominee or beneficiary. This financial support can assist the family in managing immediate expenses and maintaining their financial stability in the long run.
Global Coverage:
Group Personal Accident Insurance often provides coverage not just within the country of residence but also during international travel. This is particularly beneficial for organizations with a global workforce.
Peace of Mind:
Beyond the financial aspects, the psychological impact of knowing that one is covered in the face of unforeseen accidents cannot be overstated. It fosters a sense of security and peace of mind, contributing to overall employee health benefits well-being.
Tumblr media
Conclusion :
In a world where uncertainties abound, Group Personal Accident Insurance stands as a shield against the unexpected. Organizations that prioritize the welfare of their employees recognize the importance of such insurance in promoting a secure and supportive work environment. By investing in Group Personal Accident Insurance, employers not only fulfill a moral responsibility but also contribute to a more engaged and resilient workforce. As individuals, embracing the protection offered by this insurance ensures that we can navigate life's journey with greater confidence, knowing that our well-being is safeguarded against the uncertainties that lie ahead.

I think a lot about Leo standing up for his brothers in the things that really matter to them.
Like- Leo is the one who immediately pushes Mikey and Donnie into finding Raph the second it’s clear that their oldest brother is missing because he knows Raph can’t handle being separated like that.
Leo is the one who stands up for Mikey when Mikey wants to go on a solo mission, actively vouching for him and being the one to convince Raph into letting Mikey go, because being independent and proving himself just as capable of standing on his own two feet as everyone else means so much to Mikey.
And Leo defends Donnie’s honor in particular when his brothers’ intelligence is insulted because Leo is well aware of how important Donnie’s smarts are to him - and how important having those smarts valued and acknowledged is as well.
All this goes right into just how well Leo knows his brothers. For as much as he’ll tease or fight with them, he knows them, and he loves them.
#rottmnt#rise of the teenage mutant ninja turtles#rottmnt leo#rottmnt headcanons#rise leo#listen Leo loves his family SO MUCH#and like it’s no accident that Leo is consistently the one to give pep talks that#very notably#are less ‘everyone as a group’ and more ‘all of you individually’#it’s heartening to see honestly and like#it works with how he is as both a person and as a fighter#he knows people he knows them so well he knows how they work what they’re like#which is SO USEFUL for subterfuge AND portal/teleportation strategy#my guy is charming his charisma comes from his understanding of people at an individual level#when he wants to be he is very very good at that#he’s still a teen who is too cocky for his own good at times but that does not negate his stellar other moments#he can be selfish he can be mean he can be rude but when push comes to shove he is so quick to stand up for his family#Mikey’s statement at the end of the movie about how Leo NEVER gave up on THEM is so important because it’s not JUST about the movie!!#that’s Leo as a whole he will never give up on his bros#portal jacked is telling of this too because although it has a lot of comedic moments#never once does Leo stop looking for a way to get his bros back#they’re everything to him#he’s the face man he’s a people person and he’s the number 1 pet turtle which I will discuss the implications of in this essay-#Will also say that when Leo does these moments of standing up for his bros he’s never expecting praise for it#he’s just glad they find Raph he just smiles when Mikey tells him he loves him he never mentions defending Donnie#leo has a tendency to show off fancy glittery moves but his real actions and feelings are sooo much more lowkey#that you have to be actively looking for them to catch them all#and I really really like that about him it’s so interesting HE is so interesting

"For particularly important things, it's always more reassuring to write them down like this." - Zhang Beihai

#my art#three body problem#3 body problem#zhang beihai#三体#章北海#i've been meaning to draw three body problem characters and actually post them on my blog for quite some time!#so if anybody wants me to draw any specific character from the series feel free to reply here or send an ask as a request!#beihai is my top favorite and he resonated with me more than i expected! i rather liked bits of consequentialist philosophical ideas in him#anyways incoming ramble/infodump in the tags about various subjects pertaining to him#all you need to know about me is that i often lurk in chinese language fandom spaces and you might see commonalities in designs#if you see fanartists draw him with the broken eyebrow and mole then that's due to the 我的三体 (my three-body) donghua adaptation!#admittedly i was introduced to the series through that adaptation years ago because it seemed rather absurd (minecraft haha) but oddly good#at least check out the third season (haven't seen the fourth one yet but that's ongoing actually) or listen to 夜航星 (night voyager)#i'm rather curious how fanartists on tumblr might tackle character designs since i mostly see the two live action adaptations here#i want to diverge my designs from any particular adaptation but my beihai design takes a lot from 我的三体!#now about beihai- i really enjoyed his characterization and i'd like to bring up a maybe unintentional parallel and foil with the eto#hopefully that's something new to add to the discussion about zhang beihai and here's what adaptations don't get about mike evans#in the book he's a character you mostly only hear about from others and he's known to be a private person#he conceals a lot of his thoughts from even people like ye wenjie + he taught the trisolarans about deceit#then his strategy to kill luo ji was to keep it low and make it seem like an accident which those obfuscations of thought parallels beihai#then evans says: “but… it's obvious now that everywhere is the same” which is similar to beihai's “it doesn't matter. it's all the same”#the contexts differ but i think they're good foils about human nature “being the same” with evans's quote being about futility#then beihai's was about how regardless of if he survived or not- someone else would be able to carry on with his work#i have many other thoughts about beihai like how chu yan's (captain of blue space) group approach with the voting contrasts beihai#while beihai tried to bear the weight of attacking the other ships in solitude- chu yan made vengeance against trisolaris a group effort#(which that action goes against how the swordholder was a solitary role instead of a group one which is neat to me!)#i'd discuss more but i think that's enough to show that i really love zhang beihai (feel free to discuss the books with me though)

I’ve been dying for so long now that I’ve become used to it, but signing the DNR (do not resuscitate order) and starting palliative care has been eye opening.
Being online is so difficult now. EVERYONE talks about the future. Things they look forward to, things they want to change, saying that things will change. Will get better.
I even find myself thinking about books, movies, and tv shows, new seasons of the shows that’ll come out and that I don’t even know if I’ll be alive to see any of them.
It’s just really depressing and really hard knowing that things will not get better for me. It’s only going to get worse from here. But the world just spins madly on.

you know i think abt this often. but it really is so sad and infuriating it is that oftentimes the most fatphobic people are "ex-fat" people themselves because of the way a lot of their own journeys with their weight has been but also bc of the "if i did it through sheer determination then so can everyone else" mentality and also the fear they have of "slipping up" and "reverting" back to their old selves and bodies bc usually they haven't done any of the work to deconstruct the stigma surrounding fatness. its sad because you'd think they have more sympathy, but infuriating because they don't and in fact in many instances become actively hateful despite the fact that they know from experience what it's like to be a victim of fatphobia (or perhaps because of it in some cases. like "fatphobia worked on me and i genuinely believe all of this you just need motivation in the form of feeling terrible abt yourself" or even bc they feel that they've "outgrown" the fact that they were seen as a lesser human and have effectively gone up in social status because of their weight loss so in turn they want to take it out on others...) anyways what if all fatphobic people exploded.

Talked about this with the counselor I've been seeing at school earlier today but my intense, desperate need to leave a mark on the world (not even in a fame way, in like a "I need to leave this place better than I found it in a big, tangible way" one) and the fact that I only value myself when I feel like I'm adding good to it paired with the fact that I've been an insane perfectionist since I was a very young child and tear myself to shreds and lose all my confidence over tiny mistakes is literally going to kill me some day
#had been thinking about applying for a leadership position in our university ostem chapter for a while now#but psyched myself out of it last night before applications closed#because with everything that's gone wrong in the student group i was involved in this year i no longer trust myself to be a good leader#or frankly even a good person#i also had a slightly soul-crushing talk with a professor yesterday about my grade in her class#because even though she clearly thinks i'm brilliant (and basically said as much) i missed like two weeks of class#specifically because something happened with another student who i know i managed to make upset#(on accident. but it seems like she found my apology wanting)#and i feel so awful about it that i decided the only way to handle this was to avoid her so i didn't make her uncomfortable#so now my grade is suffering in a class i could've gotten an 'A' in#and it's just like. what am i even doing#i care so much about making the world a better place but i feel like such a bad person and trying makes it worse#and i know i'm under no obligation to put myself through this kind of stress but i don't know how to value myself if i don't#lately i feel like i'm beating myself up for being too fragile and unstable to even make a good martyr#and i know it's not healthy but if i try to step back i just get sad#like how now i feel awful about not sending in that application. and at least half dozen other similar things#i just want to make a real impact but it feels like the only thing i'm good for is making things worse#i'm not even fun to be around most days. i'm just.... sad

I just realized I accidentally blocked someone who had sent in an ask, and I was about to accidentally block someone else until I saw they had liked a post after following
Please put something on your blog! Even just a title so I can tell you’re not a bot.
Just having a couple posts on your blog doesn’t help since bots sometimes reblog random posts to look real. The only way to avoid an accidental block is to please have either a pfp, a cover photo, or a title.

A thought popped into my head after seeing that tiktok and also remembering the old text rps I used to do along the lines of "huh, I wonder if there are long form RPs on tiktok the way I used to for the shows I liked like virtual larping" and I kind of realized two things
I am certain that that exists actually, tho I'm not going to look into it
I hope to god these kids are being careful cause they wouldn't be doing anything wrong, but if someone at their school or some shitty 4channer finds them then internet assholes with nothing better to do will show no mercy

What about if 3rd was a former assassin for AFO?
i wishhhhhhhh for real i've been hc-ing that ponytail bodyguard was pineaple hair holder since before we got names or numbers or faces for any of them! got a new 'do when he changed sides. it'd be so cool if this isn't the first time Second's welcomed in people from AfO's side, he sees Yoichi in the vault and lifts a hand and when he sees Third getting very wide, panicked eyes behind him hes just like "dude this guy has almost certainly killed less people than you, its only fair we offer him a way out"
and yoichi is like "its true now but i can fix that 💚🗡"
and second is like "well now i hope you do 👀❤"
and third is like "NO thats not why im panicking, my old boss is going to so murder us so painfully for this is all."

it always rubs me the wrong way when people try to counter the supposed underlying logic to homophobic and transphobic thinking with ideas about the innateness of lgbt desire and identity. like things like ensuring people that there being more openly lgbt people wont “make kids gay” or whatever it might only make the already gay ones more comfortable which imo goes in the direction of 2 basic lines of argument: 1 that being lgbt is not a choice and 2 that being lgbt is not contagious. but tbh a lot of human identity and desire is based on the desire to be “like” somebody else or on the knowledge of a preexisting model to structure the capacity for desire by seeing the way other people structure desire and not this theoretical innate pool of fully formed truly individual desires that just so happen to coincide with those of groups of people living in a certain place at a certain time. like i want to call back to some lesbian pamphlet from like the 80s that was like a lesbian q&a where the hypothetical question was “is being gay a choice?” and the answer was something like “who cares if it is”.
like to me theres also something of an apology in saying dont worry we cant make more lgbt people all lgbt people are lgbt no matter what from birth and that is why you have to tolerate them (and therefore if someone isnt understood as innately lgbt this opens a way for violence bc the premise is that you have to forgive us for what we cant help basically). i mean in a path to end cisheteropatriarchy there will be more lgbt people as it advances because the hegemonic models of desire will be questioned and changed and that is part of liberation. you can say they were simply always there but all closeted but the thing is thats not something you can back up + who cares if it is a choice (it’d be a good and legitimate choice!). also the fact that it is not a legitimate or even real worry of homophobes and transphobes that there will be “more” lgbt people cause they’re concerned there are ANY lgbt people. so why engage in something so rigged to move the goal post from “queer is good + queer is something we want” to “queer is + queer is something we accept” which is closer to “queer is, unfortunately + queer is something we’re trying to help”
