OK, I ADMIT IT!
I'm ncapable of reading a Lenormand line of 5 cards akjsagdjksadadkja
I can't! I just don't vibe with fucking Lenormand. I can read a GT (I think) but the lines are incomprehensible. They just hit with my brain with no further intuition or anything

I was supposed to do my monthly GT spread on the first, but I didn’t feel like it. And yesterday I didn’t feel like it. And today I don’t feel like it. I think that’s ok though. I have creative writing assignments and finals going up until mid-month and that’s taking up a lot of my mental bandwidth. I always find the big monthly spread to be very draining. Which both makes sense and is odd, since usually reading lenormand isn’t draining, it’s uplifting. But the GT is very involved so it takes a lot of time and energy for me.
This is not a usual month so I’m just going to give myself a break. Really hard for me to do, but definitely what I need. I’ll still be reposting a lot of the old lenormand content from my wordpress blog at random, though I’m trying to queue it later this week instead of posting it in bursts.
Once finals are over I want to offer another day of free readings, since people really seemed to like that last time. I just want to wait until I’m less stressed and can devote a whole day to doing that.

Cartomancy Stuff: Decks I Have, In Order Of Favorite To Least:
Seventh Sphere Lenormand, by Labyrinthos. My favorite deck I have by a country mile. The art is soft and perfectly harmonized and evocative. But most importantly the cardfeel is incredible. Each card is a durable lightweight plastic and they are a delight to just hold.
This Edition of the Original Rider-Waite. It's important to have the classic on hand. Pamela Coleman Smith knew what she was doing when she created it, and to understand every permutation on the original format it's important to know the original symbology.
Golden Thread Tarot, by Labyrinthos. Very very minimalist art style on black plastic stock drawn in fucking gold, of course my proto-goth ass likes this shit, I dig it so hard.  It is similar in lofty quality to the Seventh Sphere, and thus is a deck that could take a fucking beating if you were using it regularly. However, I feel the cards are oversized and the symbology used is very stripped down in some cards. Also for the love of fucking god, do not use the GT app alone to learn tarot, it's not accurate at all.
Homestuck Act 6-7 Tarot, by Aryll. This is... legitimately a very good deck. The art is vivid and beautiful, some of the symbology is so on point I want to scream, it keeps in mind the Rider-Waite roots but reinterprets them in a way that... if you know HS, it might help you understand some of the more esoteric card meanings honest to god. The only ill words I have for it is that it's published by WLF/BFFF and fuck them they are an awful company, and the actual cardfeel of the deck is the lowest quality of all my decks. I would handle it with care for fear of bents or rips. But hey, it's WLF. What did you expect for 25USD jesus christ.
Robin Wood Tarot, by Llewellyn. I legitimately think if you want to learn Tarot, you want to get Rider-Waite and you want to get Robin Wood. Now that I baaaaaasically know WTF I'm talking about with the cards, I don't use this deck a lot but when I was learning, it was a fucking godsend. It follows the same symbolism of RW but in many many many instances makes the purpose of the card clearer, sometimes just by virtue of being a more recent deck and the image quality is better. Heavily rec. Also a few of the cards are hilarious.
Mucha Tarot, by Lo Scarabeo. I got this deck because I'm a punk bitch who loves Art Nouveau. That's it. There are a handful of good cards, but the majority are just art pieces and a few of them are outright bad. This is a pure vanity deck that would be unusable for anything but the pretty. /SHRUGS
Welcome to Night Vale Tarot, by Jay Holloway. Unfortunately this is my least favorite deck that I currently own. It’s not the art: the art is very colorful while maintaining that dark-and-light WTNV feeling. The symbolism works, with a few really inspired choices. The composition of a few of the cards is drop dead gorgeous. However, and this is a massive ‘however’: the cards are printed on this very heavy stock that is essentially a lightweight cardboard, and the way it feels in the hand is dismal. I literally don’t enjoy touching the deck. Also, it would be fucking impossible to comfortably use for any readings because since every card is so thick, it is hard to even hold the full deck. If you want it for the art, that’s fine, but jfc otherwise skip it.
Wishlist: What I Hope To Grab Next:
The tremendously clever and colorful Joe Sparrow deck.
You may have seen a few of these cards before, as Sparrow has been chipping away at this deck for a long time now. It’s finally complete, and I am desperate to have it. I love the reinterpretations of some of the cards. I love the graphic style. I like how readable it is, how I think it can be used with no cheat sheet or reference. I’m hoping to god I can get one before it sells out again.
Seventh Sphere Tarot de Marseille.
From the same set as the phenomenal Lenormand deck, I’m salivating over this one. What I especially like is the adjustments made to the deck-- I’m a huge fan of “The Return” honestly. I’ve been using the Seventh Sphere app to do readings with this for like a month now and I want it in my hot lil hands.
Prisma Visions Tarot.
Holy balls this is gorgeous. A dark painterly style alone would have me by the heartstrings but the suits are designed to show a scene when you line them all up together, that is incredible. This is the only shop I’ve found that sells it, unfortunately. 8\
The Fountain Tarot.
This one I am like... I’m not coveting it as much as the others on my list, but it seems very interesting. Usually photomanip style is so much not my jam it’s a turn off, but this one is very sparse and beautiful, and I love the colors. Would love to see it.
The Marigold Tarot.
From the person who does the Shitty Horoscopes, a very dark and decadent deck. It’s gold-on-black again just like the Golden Thread but you know what it’s a common look because it’s GOOD okay. I dig it.

Scrying Ink Lenormand Deck and Free Readings!
I am so happy to announce that I received a beautiful new deck of cards know as a Lenormand Deck. I have the Scrying Ink Lenormand Deck with artwork and interpretations by Siolo Thompson. What makes these types of decks unique is that the cards are meant to be interpreted as a story unfolding, or in a way that builds upon the prior card, which is perfect for me because that is almost exactly how I already do readings. To celebrate getting this gorgeous deck, I will be doing free readings for free for the next 24 hours!
I would also like to apologize for some confusion, I may have in the past referred to my Soul Trees cards as “Tarot Cards” but I have recently learned the difference and they are actually Oracle Cards. I apologize for any confusion, I am still learning many things about divination with cards and I hope that it allows you guys to learn as well! If you would like me to do a reading with my Soul Trees Oracle cards for any free readings, just please specify in your message.
This Lenormand Decks allows for 3 specific types of readings as well as general readings. They are: Career Readings, Personal Health/ Emotional Health Readings and Romance Readings. I will pull up to 5 cards for any reading but I recommend requesting at least 2 cards be pulled for complicated issues. So please specify the number of cards you would like pulled in your ask. I can pull 1 card for burning question types of readings but as I am still experimenting with this deck, I may decide against this later depending on how I assess these guidelines hold up in readings.
<
p>Lastly, I’m going to disable messages temporarily, mostly because this new deck really meant to be seen, and I want to post pictures of spreads for everyone to see. I will still have anon available and of course public asks. I am still very busy with school so I will not answer any asks sent to me past noon tomorrow. I am in the Mountain Time zone for reference.
I would love to hear feedback on what you guys think of the cards and the readings!
Good luck 💜

Zeitplan 16. Februar 2019 Freies Training 1: 14:30 – 15:15 Uhr (MEZ) Freies Training 2: 17:00 – 17:30 Uhr (MEZ) Qualifying: 18:45 – 19:21 Uhr (MEZ) Super Pole: 19:30 – 19:50 Uhr (MEZ) Rennen: 23:00 Uhr (MEZ) Siegerehrung: 00:00 Uhr (MEZ)
