Voices from History Are Whispering to Us, Still
To Hold Steady and Seek the Wisdom They Once Prayed For As I begin to read and reflect on the birth of our nation, I find myself drawn to The Debate on the Constitution, edited by Bernard Bailyn. In this remarkable collection, voices from the founding era come alive through letters, speeches, and passionate exchanges over the very principles that would shape America’s future. My journey through…

pro tip: do your skincare routine about an hour before Isha or directly after Maghrib (if you’re sure you’ll remain in a state of purity) so your products have around 7–8 hours to work into your skin. then, after making wudu for Fajr (or Tahajjud), do your skincare again. that gives your skin another 7–8 hours (or even more, depending on whether you stay in a state of purity until Dhuhr) before needing to remove it again. and between prayers (like between Dhuhr and Maghrib), you can simply let your skin breathe and just apply a light moisturizer to keep it hydrated without layering too much. it’s a great way to care for your skin without disrupting your wudu or overdoing your routine :)

When we trust Universal direction, it enables us to understand true freedom. The Universe is within us, as we are within it. When we have perfect trust, we embrace love, and as a result our heart opens, as we are not regulated by fear.

Sacred Beauty: Why God's Standards Matter More Than the World's
Beauty in Holiness I would like to reflect on your beauty as women of faith (1 Corinthians 11:15). Your hair is your covering. It’s more than just an external facade; it’s a reflection of the glory of God shining through you. Show your beauty in all its forms. Seek holiness in how you present yourself to the world. You don’t need to conform to the world’s standards to be cherished. God honors…

Exploring Unity and Faithfulness in Clement's First Epistle: Lessons from Early Church Fathers
Clement’s First Epistle to the Corinthians offers a striking look into the early Christian church’s struggles and priorities. Written as a response to division and discord in the Corinthian congregation, it emphasizes unity, obedience, and service—principles that still resonate today. These early teachings encourage believers to live in harmony and remain faithful to Christ’s example. Exploring…

What Is Mine: Understanding Jesus's Revelation of Truth
In John 16:13-15, Jesus gives a profound teaching about the Spirit of Truth, the Holy Spirit, and His role in revealing divine truth. By repeating the phrase “what is Mine,” Jesus underscores the unity within the Trinity and the shared mission of glorifying God and communicating His truth to humanity. The Spirit of Truth: A Guide to All Truth Jesus begins by affirming the Holy Spirit’s role as…

Teamwork Makes the Dream Work. Make sure you know the rules or the plan.
As we begin today and I ponder what is ahead, between the delegation of chores around the house and the new project that I will get to be a part of in the coming days, the need for everyone to be on the same page is key. To be on the same page, we need to make sure we know what the rules are, or the plan is to be successful. Whether it is whose got what area of the house or who owns which parts…

One Body of Christ, Many Churches
Greetings to the Churches of God, and the brethren of Jesus Christ I, a continuing servant of our Holy Lord, King of all Kings, and Creator of Life from the beginning to the end do write to you today in hope of our mutual alignment with our Great Father in Heaven. For it is in our time today, that not only have many of the worlds religions departed even from themselves, but also that our own…

Ramayana No. 14: Be Good, Do Good, Purify Your Mind: A Simple Reflection on the Ramayana’s Timeless Wisdom
In the vast expanse of spiritual literature, few texts carry the weight and significance of the Ramayana. This ancient epic, deeply embedded in Hindu culture, tells the story of Prince Rama, whose life is a testament to the principles of righteousness, duty, and the eternal struggle between good and evil. As we delve into its rich narrative, it’s easy to get caught up in the details of battles,…

STRENGTH
Tumblr media
You have the power to change things for the better.
It starts with you leaving your comfort zone.
If you want to start on a journey that people might discourage you from, you need to remember you need to do what is right for you. No one can decide this but you.
You were born with many gifts, talents, abilities, and support. Yes, some of those people that supported us at one point leave but that only means we graduated to a higher conscious lesson.
You are but a grain of sand in this complex world.
You are either the peace within or the chaos. You need to always find your alignment, your balance, the place you call home.
Focus, strive to do your best and never seek validation for your good deeds, just do good and it is reward in itself.
We are unfolding karma, live with purpose and know you are strong.
Drop the known and go beyond.
You are positivity within.
Remember and go back to the positive lessons your family, friends, and mentors gave to you.
You have all the fundamental ingredients to success.
It starts with believing in yourself.
Never question why things end, focus on the new gifts of beginnings.
Always see the positive aspects in every situation.
You are meant to evolve.
