Leon: Why does Merlin never have lunch with us? Arthur: He usually sleeps in because he stays up way too late. We'll see him around dinner time.

Gwaine: Are you sure you don't want to head to the beach with us? Arthur, answering for Merlin: Look at how pale he is, he'll burn right up. Not to mention the sun hurts his "sensitive" eyes. Lancelot: *sweats*

Uther: Arthur, why did you remove the crosses and other protections on your apartment? Arthur: Oh, religion makes my roommate uncomfortable.

Alright this is my vision:

Gwaine is in love with Merlin, but Merlin is in love with Arthur. Gwaine encourages those two, but is obviously left heartbroken. Percival enters the story, he can see the crack in Gwaine and puts effort into helping him heal by just being his friend and showing him the world is not over. The two of them start as great friends, but slowly fall in love.

I think these two are great together. Love love. Honestly tempted to write about them. Gwaine is definitely turned on by someone bigger than him.

I think it would be insanely funny if after Arthur’s death everyone returns back in time to the place they were the day Merlin arrived in Camelot. But like, everyone thinks they are the only ones who has returned. We see it all from Merlin’s pov, who’s traumatised and wondering why the fuck Arthur is so much sweeter to him this time around and keeps saying ‘thank you’. He wonders why Lancelot shows up earlier, why all of a sudden Gwaine is there three years too early, saying he got hurt in a tavern bawl and needs a physician. He wonders why Leon keeps pretending like he didn’t just accidentally see Merlin do magic. Why Gwen keeps giving him these knowing looks. And why Morgana doesn’t seem as afraid as she used to when she was figuring out that she had magic. Everyone is trying their best to change history for the better, thinking they are alone with this duty... and then one day when uther is dead and they are sitting around the round table, merlin steps forward and is like: ‘I need to confess that I have magic, but also that I have returned from the future.’ And everyone just whips around and is like ‘YOU TOO??!’ And then they realise that they’ve all returned and wasted their time thinking they were alone.

Merlin: *is actively breaking the law by existing* *has literally killed people* *drops branches on peoples heads* *and even tried to kill the king*

Knights: he’s just a funky little guy :)

I would even bet money he knocks glasses off tables when he wants to annoy someone (Arthur-)

I’m headcanoning that Arthur and Gwaine are both the type of petty arsehole to do shit they just know will piss Merlin off after an argument if it isn’t really a proper argument. Like debating over the best pjo character again and one of them clearly being wrong.

It’s all not particularly important, but it definitely matters.

He’ll boil water in the microwave for tea despite there being a kettle right there or he’ll put milk and sugar in with the teabag before the water.
