What are you growing in the greenhouse, also what variance of Oddish and Wartortle are those?

In reference to that picture of the greenhouse I posted, from left to right.

Delphiniums, Echinacea, foxglove, Gracidea, gypsophelia, Shasta daisies, tea tree, tulips.

Most of those flowers are for boarders and displays in the public areas of the island. We change our flowers and displays up to keep with the seasons.

The wartortle is normal, just small. The big oddish is a blue fern, the little dude is unknown as of yet, he’s only got his two first protective leaves at the moment, could sprout anything! He fell out his tray behind a workbench, and escaped the baby room. Has been following staff for the last week, having a blast.

daffodil - which colour suits you best?

I’m going to stubbornly insist that it’s black, even though jewel tones and greys are much more flattering on me.

gypsophila - do you prefer many distant friends, or a few close friends?

I’m gonna say both, tbh. It’s nice to have friends that you can just chat to and not worry about personal stuff, but it’s also nice to have people who know you very well and care. I think both are beneficial.

narcissus - your best physical feature?

My eyes! A lot of people think they’re dark brown, but they’re just a really dark hazel. They suck at doing their job and actually seeing things sometimes, but I do think they’re pretty.

(I also really like my hair and kinda my nose? And I’m feeling much more affectionate towards my height ever since I’ve discovered I’m…actually quite tall.)

A September Winery Wedding

Yesterday I had the pleasure of photographing Camilla and Scott’s intimate wedding at Knightor Winery in Trethurgy, near St Austell in Cornwall.

The couple had originally planned to get married in May but had to postpone their wedding day due to Covid-19.

Having scaled down their guest list to comply with the current regulations, the couple were finally able to tie the knot in an intimate, outdoor ceremony at this popular barn wedding venue in Cornwall.

Camilla looked absolutely stunning in an elegant, full length lace wedding dress with a sweetheart neck line and bow detailing, which was bought from Coastal Bridal in Mevagissey.

She finished the look with a pair of diamante sandals, a diamante necklace with matching earrings and a short veil.

As Knightor has a naturally rustic feel to it being a barn wedding venue, Camilla and Scott went along with this idea when choosing their decorations and wedding theme.

Camilla’s wedding flowers were a posy of pale pink roses with gypsophelia, tied with hessian and were complied by Mevagissey florist Wild and Heather.

Scott looked very smart in a blue three piece suit from Marks and Spencer, with a white shirt, a pale pink tie and brown shoes.

Camilla’s bridesmaids all wore chiffon, pale pink full length dresses and held matching, smaller posies of roses and gypsophelia.

The ceremony took place underneath the beautifully decorated wooden arbour, which is situated in front of the lake, where the couple’s guests looked on while sat on hay bales.

After the ceremony Camilla, Scott and their guests enjoyed drinks and canapes in the courtyard of the winery in the beautiful September sunshine.

Later on in the afternoon we took some wedding photographs within the grounds of Knightor and here’s a few of my favourites to give you a flavour of their special day…

Another beautiful day Mabel worked until 7:30 but didn't get here til 8 Ruth took Billy to Sunday School then took Darcie + I to Church to hear Mr Woodhull preach, then came home ate lunch at at Ruth after which we took Mrs Lemky with us to the Mausoleum back home I called on Mrs Liles + Pearl Mrs Liles very weak, Gypsophelia seed came up today
