Hunter x Hunter 397 Spoilers

So while the whole chapter was great, this panel of Sheila has me by a chokehold. While the rest of her friends are swearing themselves to a life of revenge and villainy, she's walking away somber. She doesn't look at all happy with what they are doing.

While this is still just a theory, I think this is confirmation she was not the cause of the Kurta massacre, or at least not intentionally. I think where this is going, is that she is going to be the bridge between Kurapika and the Phantom Troupe.

She was the same as the Phantom Troupe, she was from Meteor City, her best friend was horrifically killed. But unlike them (and unlike Kurapika) she doesn't get lost in the vengeance. After this she will hold on tightly to D Hunter's book and try to become a Hunter. She will inspire Kurapika to explore the world. She despite coming from the same circumstances, will be a positive influence, unlike the Phantom Troupe that literally destroyed Kurapika's life.

Ultimately I think it would be interesting arc, if she also ends up being on this forsaken boat. Maybe she was tracking Kurapika, maybe Pairo's remains, maybe the Phantom Troupe, or maybe all of them. She gets right in the middle of it, and its her who saves them from their endless destructive revenge, or at the very least stops them. She the person who was a vital part of both their childhoods, but unlike them was not consumed by their tragedies.

But who knows I might be totally wrong haha.

I believe she started off as Healing Church 'hunter' (just like Alfred), but ended up repurposing - and modeling her new attire after Old Hunters.

Like many female Healing Church hunters, she'd opt out for more practical attire at the nights of the hunt than regular skirt of women of the Church.

I know Hunter is most likely to end up living with Camila I KNOW it ended up getting the most screentime/implied time with the time skip and it's extremely healthy for him and I love Camila and I want what's best for Hunter and I know she loves him and with the show being cut there's not enough time to flesh out other dynamics, but godDAMMit this isn't the horse I backed I wanted Dadrius 😭

There's still a chance some British writers might pop in the BSD manga at some point! We got a very brief glimpse of Agatha Christie in Dead Apple who is part of the Order of the Clocktower, so it's very possible more authors from there are also members. (Personally I'd love to see Charles Dickens because his work is so iconic.) There's a theory Agatha's going to be a major antagonist later actually - she's not known as the Queen of Crime for nothing. Also it's implied Fyodor knows her.

i was hoping this would be the case!!! and i had a feeling that this might be a possibility; like that other authors may be introduced later in the series! i dunno if shakespeare will ever end up appearing because i fear that he’s a little too old (since all of the authors thus far seem to be from the 1800s and 1900s right????? i’m not 100% sure on that so correct me if i’m wrong but i think that’s the case) since he’s from the 1500s n early 1600s but i would be SO happy if he showed up!!!

I know you ship Leopika, but what is your honest opinion on Melopika?

In short, I don't ship them (romantically), but I love their relationship platonically. After all, Kurapika, Leorio and Senritsu/Melody are my three favorite HxH characters, so of course I appreciate their connection and every single interaction they've had with each other so far (which aren't many but I'll take what I can get). The three of them mean a lot to me. ♥

But imo Senritsu reads as an older character. Of course, we don't even know her official age and we're well aware that Togashi can be extremely deceiving in that aspect (who looks at Leorio and thinks "Ah yes, a typical 19-year-old"? Haha), but I've always perceived her as at least a few years older than Kurapika based on the little bits of information that we got and the way she behaves overall. So I guess I've subconsciously always seen her as more of a big sister friend and never even considered them as romantically compatible. Granted, I'm not a big shipper to begin with (I have like, two ships I actively ship 😅), but I personally don't see it.

Ooh, could I request something with a royal vampire Scriabin x vampire hunter or priest Edgar?? I just saw their outfits for day 18 and was like 👀 "I immediately love them", lol. My brain also keeps making a half connection between this concept and vampire moths, probably because of the Vargases' weird relationship with moths/butterflies since the diaryfic. So if you felt like including any butterfly imagery, I'd be interested how you would incorporate it!
