Skam had been my safe place since 2015, so are the remakes, something about the remakes makes me feel like I’m connected to a whole different group of youth around the world, i’m from southeast asia and it’s really comforting to see that skam has a season for a woman with faith, something that fsr seem so foreign to other people that’s why when some fcked up decisions like this happens, it just hurts me, it’s like using us pocs so they could say that the show is diverse and I’m honestly tired...
Oh me too, anon, me too :-(  I love Skam, I watched seasons from almost all the remakes and when it’s good it’s just so damn good.  I love Sana and even though I’m not a hajibi, I connect with her (and Yousef!) for many reasons.  And yeah, it hurts when skam fucks around with her and other poc....I don’t think a lot of ppl understood why it was so painful when for example Druck shortened Amira’s season.  Or when Isak told Sana that she was a bitch and that it was her job to educate white people.  Or when Skamfr made Imane suffer so much and made her beg her white friends for their friendship....seeing that shit hurts.  And now with wtfock, seeing what they did today and what’s likely to happen during the rest of the season is awful :-(

🌺💘🌷 get to know your mutuals ! when you get this, it means someone wants to know more about you, so list 5 things about yourself you want your followers to know. they can be as simple as your age or as complex as your deepest fear, as long as it’s something you’re comfortable with sharing. when you’re done, send this to 10 people you want to get to know better ! 🌷💘🌺
yeah okay let’s do this
my favourite place in the whole world is an empty beach during the morning followed by a library full of people
I like the sound of pages turning.

I used to fix my friend's hajibi for her but after coming out as nonbinary i dont want to accidentally brake any rules or anything. Should i stop and am i not allowed to see her with out? Where does it all stand?
The most recent answer here addresses a similar situation.  Basically the understanding of observing hijab is that the interaction is between two groups where there is a possibility of physical attraction.  If that would be the case in your situation (if you are attracted to women), then most scholars would say that your friend should observe hijab when you are there.
Again however, the most important opinion in the situation is that of your friend.  I don’t know your friend’s denomination or how she interprets the observation of hijab.  That’s all information that is important to know here, and if you’re comfortable asking (and she'd be comfortable answering), it would be good for you to find out.

If you are still alive and still doing match ups for naruto can I get one?
My name is suweyda, My pronouns are she/her. I do taekwondo and have a strange obsession with plants and poetry. I’m a black hajibi, I’m 5’6 and 150 pounds. I read “books😏” and i’m shy and studious and kinda reserved.
Thank you!
I pair you with Sai!
 - Sai finds nature and poetry really relaxing for the most part-whenever he needs to calm down or stop feeling anxious, he can usually be found outside, so he’d enjoy hearing all of your information about plants and the flora around you both if you ever decided to join him.
 - Your shy, studious, and reserved personality would probably make you a bit easier to approach for him when compared to other people. He enjoys people who are loud and confident, but he feels more connected right away to someone who’s more introverted, like you!

Radical feminism is bullshit, through and through. Not even just because of the transmisogyny- there are several radfems that claim to denounce that- but it excludes so many women. Sex workers? Fuck you, you’re a victim and you’re making us look bad by letting men do that to you, get out. Women of color? Don’t you dare talk about the way racism effects your life as a woman, because that doesn’t pertain to the ‘majority’ of women and if white girls cant relate to it, it isn’t important. Unless, of course, we’re talking about hajibi women- because then, suddenly, women who make choices based on their religion have INTERNALIZED MISOGYNY and can’t make their own decisions without a fucking white savior to tell them it’s bad for them.
Radical feminism truly does toe the line between “become free. Do what makes you free. Not what you want, just whatever makes you free. But not too free, because then men will look at you funny, and that makes you a slut who makes feminism look bad.”

Stranger in a strange land
I'm a stranger in a strange land this morning. At least Panera is a friendly place to sit and sip for bit. Barista Linda gives me my mug and raised bagel. My left hip is killing me. We all know what that means - The Six Million Dollar Man is about to get more fake body parts. There's a Lady wearing A hajibi eating a pastry while her cell phone is tucked neatly into her hajibi so she can hear and talk while using both hands to eat. She's also apparently taking notes. It's great to see how technology can be adapted to fit old styles and customs. Three young women are meeting across from me . Two in scrubs, one in a pencil skirt. Nurse one asks pencil skirt lady how she managed to slide into the booth so easily. the girl hikes her leg and skirt to show she is wearing hose. I could see all the way to Christmas but she didn't seem to care and smile when she noticed I saw all the presents. Otherwise it's very quiet. Two guys talking abut wives. One was happy getting 50 percent of her time. Now that kids are here he doesn't get enough. Other one says that's what you get for having kids. You didn't expect her to put you over them did you? First guy says well, I think I should get more of her time. It's really putting a strain on me to be ignored OMG. Welcome to the world of children. What a dolt
