textile collagey embroidery piece 🐻
all w scrap materials i had laying around. trying to practice using from my supply stash to gain inspiration, rather than buying new supplies.
took inspiration from visible mending, collage, and the fun textures involved in textile work!
planning to sew a cropped tee and apply this like a graphic on top :)

Almost done with the shirt I work on since... July...
Now I only need to make 6 bottoms, sew them on. Sew the button holes and then I am actually done!!!!

finished piecing my first quilt and dropped it off to be quilted today!
the act of creating this has been so rewarding. i’ve learned a lot, and i treasure every moment of hand sewing squares with my mum while listening to a spooky podcast.
overall, i’m very proud with how the top turned out and i cannot wait to see it done and to be able to use it!

I’m labelling this as finished even though it isn’t, it’s one of those projects that will never really be ‘finished’ as it’s going to continue to grow and evolve over time. But I’m marking it as finished because it’s wearable, see those mushroom panels on the sides? I slashed the sides of the vest open and sewed them in to make it larger. I’ve had this vest for over a decade and it was a perfect fit back then and, well, since then I’ve not only gained weight, but I’ve also started testosterone which has resulted in weight redistribution and moved some of the fat from my face and hips to my stomach, so it needed adjusting to be comfortable to wear.
I’ve also sewn on a bunch of patches, technically since I took these photos I’ve added another patch and painted a huge trans flag on the back of it. I really do love my vest and now that it’s getting cold I wear it over my black and red pokemon jacket for an extra layer of warmth.

Charr plushie complete!
Finished this cutie just this morning! I love working with the beanie baby pattern, it's almost become second nature to me at this point. First time working with embroidered details (the scar across her back) and I'm pretty pleased with how everything came together.
On to the next plush!

HES COMPLETE
My hand sewn randy plush is finished!
What situations will I put him in? Feel free to tell me to make him do things
Final toll: three days plus half a day for planning, a burn on my hand, and a cut from a needle
WORTH IT
The character is Randy Jade from the game Dialtown, which is made by @directdogman
(His head is a Nokia phone if you were wondering)
The next plush I make will prolly be the knight from hollow knight, but feel free to give me suggestions!
This is the first complex plush I’ve made so I’m glad it turned out so well
