2024- the year of switching it up when you least expect it!
I started this piece in 2019 and I stopped working on it because I didn’t feel like I was skilled enough to accomplish my vision. Well I definitely feel like I can accomplish this now!
This is going a lot faster than I anticipated, but it’s most likely because I finished outlining everything already.

starting out my art blog with a thematically appropriate easter monday post. this is a fiber art / embroidery / jewelry making project i've sunk a million hours into.
had a vision a few weeks ago while falling asleep of a matching accessory set of the wounds of jesus / the stigmata and brought it to life. the set is two gloves, the crown, a shoulder/chest harness, and sandals, made of various gauges of jewelry wire, red embroidery thread, and about one trillion varying sizes of red beads. also sorry the sandals aren't super visible in these but i didn't want to post feet tbh
feel free to follow here and @tr4nsjester on instagram to see more of my arts :)

Had some leftover embroidery threads lying around and decided to take up embroidery as a new craft! I got this pattern off from Walmart and enjoyed making it!💕

I've been stitching some cicadas lately. This year is going to be a big one for the screaming bugs!
For those interested in making their own cross stitched cicadas, the patterns are available for sale here and here! (Please note: my software skills mean that I had to freehand the AAAAAs rather than place them in the pattern itself, so those are not included in the patterns. This does mean that you can make these little guys uniquely your own and add any sort of scream that you'd like, though!)
