Little late!! Here’s my piece for Piltover’s Finest: A CaitVi Fanzine! I’m really glad I got to be a part of this project, I’ve been playing League since the beginning of the pandemic and I was absolutely in love with Arcane. Ahh i just love their dynamic together <3
i love seeing everyone's interpretations of gwynplaine and dea so i thought it would be fun to redraw some friends' designs in my own style to compare all the differences! in order the artists are Meee, @elmorinn, @chiropteracupola, @castledock, @gwynsplainer, and @pizza-hats-of-the-world-1882 :D
[ID: Six pairs of portraits in an uncoloured digital ink style, each depicting Gwynplaine and Dea according to a different artist's design. In each, Gwynplaine is set against a black background and Dea against white. Detailed descriptions in alt text. End ID.]

A video of Tails viewed from the waist-up against a teal blue background. Tails is drawn in a simplistic style, with the only difference in design being the slightly darker orange patches of fur on the tips of his ears and the ends of his arms before his gloves.
In the video, Tails is signing his name, using the word ‘tail’ in BSL, but with two hands, copying the gesture on the left as well as the right. Tail is signed by having the index finger and thumb pinched together, with the remaining three fingers extended out. The hand starts out at the waist before the arm lifts at the elbow to face height. Tails leans slightly to the right as he signs, head and ears tilting tilting and tails lifting upwards slightly. As he signs, he mouths his name.
On both the left and right sides of his head, “Tail” is written in a darker navy colour. Above this on the right side, the artist’s signature is shown; the silhouette of a bongo with the letters BD inside.
dysprosium, AN 66, is a silvery-white rare earth metal. its name is derived from the greek dysprositos, meaning “hard to get at”, owing to the difficulty in separating and isolating this rare earth element. dysprosium is used to measure neutron flux, to fuel reactors, and to activate phosphors. terfenol-d is a magnetorestrictive alloy, meaning that it changes shape when a magnetic field is applied, and is used to manufacture underwater acoustic systems.
