I used to say that if I could tell my younger self one thing it would, "slow down!" Although, I have come to rethink that. Today is the 20th anniversary of my car accident. Wheelchair life hasn't been easy, but I have been lucky to have amazing people in my life who love and support me. I will always be the silly girl who loves to dance and play dress up. I would love a cure, but I wouldn't change my life for anything. Everything happens for a reason, and I believe my trials have made me a better, stronger, more compassionate woman. I am proud of the woman I am TODAY.
