first chapter (which is what the moodboard is for) is now being written. i am currently planning to have it posted by the end of october.

For Erica I will only use images from season 4 for any ship content. This is just for my own comfort, no judgement.

So I was looking for southern quotes for Moodboard Reasons and found the one about flirting and immediately thought "Harley" and decided to make a Harley moodboard bc why not

College AU

Peter’s a forever tired Biochem major and is mostly a recluse, who only occasionally goes out with Ned, and MJ. Ned’s trying to joint a Frat so occasionally Peter will join him at a party, but he’s nowhere near cool, or sociable. 

Cue Harley who’s an engineering major but is also doing a minor in photography. Tony doesn’t get it, but when he had told his Mom she had just kind of smiled softly at him. Harley had always loved taking pictures. Maybe it had something to do with his Dad leaving, and how there hadn’t been that many photographs of their family with him in it. Maybe it was because his Mom got him a polaroid camera for Christmas when he was 13 and he kind of just never stopped taking pictures after that. Either way, it became an outlet. He still was a builder at heart, but sometimes he likes to take pictures.

But his favorite was taking pictures of people. He likes portraits, and thats where he made money on the side, taking pictures for senior announcements back when he was still in Tennessee. His favorite were candid shots, shots where people were caught unaware. Harley’s an engineering major, but he always keeps his camera on him, especially around campus because you never know when a good shot is going to pop up in front of you.

There’s one day where he’s by the library. The person at the desk was taking a lunch break so he was stuck outside for the next half hour with nothing to do. He scanned around stopped short when his eyes landed on a boy sitting on the grass in the quad. There was nothing special about him in any way, not really per se. He was average, pale skin, brown hair, nothing unusual in his stature, except there was something in the way he was sitting, something - graceful - Harley concluded suddenly, and his fingers itched for his camera. He took a few photos and didn’t think much of it.

After that, Harley suddenly starts seeing the same guy all around campus.

He hadn’t printed any of the photos he’d taken in the school dark room, that had felt - invasive. He didn’t even know the guy and hadn’t technically consented to the pictures, so printing them felt like a step too far. But, Harley also couldn’t stop taking pictures of him. He didn’t see him everywhere, but he saw him around, and whenever he did he couldn’t help sneaking a picture. Each one was him always caught unaware. There were things Harley started to notice then, like how his eyes were brown and soft, and a bunch freckles lined his nose and cheekbones. His eyebrows were uneven and always seemed to be skewed in different directions everyday, like his hair - his hair that was sometimes short and tamed, but then eventually got unruly and messier, and messier, the longer it got.

Harley watched him for nearly a whole semester and never went up to him to say hi, or ask his name. It had gone too far now. It had gotten creepy. He had almost a hundred photographs of this guy now and he knew there was no way he wouldn’t find it anything other than stalkerish, even though Harley had never sought him out, he had always just been there. He was so beautiful that Harley couldn’t not take a picture.
