i understand why the ‘grizzled loner who slowly melts & improves their outlook on life when forced to take care of a kid’ trope is a male exclusive role, bc the optics of a grizzled loner woman healing by becoming a mother are maybe not so good, but every time i think abt a hypothetical female version of that trope i black out instantly. could we maybe just do it one time and all agree to be cool about it

I’m obsessed with the idea of Bruce Wayne being best friends with the Gotham Sirens—Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, and Catwoman. Just picture it: regular girls’ nights where they all lounge around to talk shit, and gossip about everyone. Bruce is right there on Harley’s couch, drink in hand, a face mask on, and his nails getting painted while he vents about his situationship with Clark and the never-ending chaos of wrangling the Batkids. It’s unhinged, it’s wholesome, it’s hilarious—and I need this fic immediately.

^ྀི Info: this OC is an OC I’ve written for my own amusement. He’s the son of Harley Quinn and joker. Full name, Jacklyn Oswald Quinn. I got bored. Reader is the twin sister of Damian, but Damian is the older twin of course. Jack and reader are in their twenties which is 20-23. Im only a writer so you can imagine who he looks more like but all I can is he is handsome canonically in my head and anything. Boy’s crazy but handsome.

BANG! BANG! Echoed the sound of bullets hitting targets. There was a blonde male, with sharp blue eyes that stared down the dummy as he held a rifle in his arms. There beside him is his beautiful girlfriend, Y/N Al-Ghul Wayne.

You raised a brow when Jack smirked that infamous smirk of his. “Well puddin', guess you can call me a sharpshooter, 'cause I shot my shoot with you, and look where you are now.” He moves over to you, wrapping an arm around your waist. You gave him a slightly amused grin.

“Is that so?” You said, teasing him, placing a finger under his chin. Jack couldn’t help but give a loopy smile, drugged by your touch, he set the rifle down and wrapped both arms around you.

“Damn it, you’re so intoxicating,” he muttered, his raspy voice adding a deeper intensity to his words. You pushed his head away playfully, a smirk on your face as he groaned in annoyance. “Settle down, loverboy. I’m just trying to evaluate your shooting skills,” you responded clearly, observing the “tough” exterior of the guy as he grumbled.

Letting you go and grabbing a pistol.

“Sweetheart, you should know my ass has been shootin' since I was young. Remember who I was?” Jack said, cocking the gun before shooting at a new shooting range.

You hummed confidently, leaning against the counter as you observed his arm flex, the veins highlighting its definition. You looked up, catching a glimpse of him clenching his jaw before he deliberately relaxed it.

“Plus, does my sweet ol' princess even know how to shoot a gun?” He questioned, his hoarse voice breaking your train of thought and glance from his body.

“I certainly do, and you should know me better than that. It’s impressive how quickly you’ve tried to figure out my identity.” You strode over to him, your hair flowing confidently with each step.

“Oh yes, the ex-assassin knows how to shoot a gun instead of using a katana like her brother,” Jack says mockingly. You firmly smacked him upside the head, scoffing.

“Tt. Cut it out. Hand it over.” You took the gun from his hand, which always seemed eager to take yours. Jack smirked, leaning his tall frame over you, but you stood your ground, unflinching.

“Watch your step, because I’m not covering for any broken nails this time,” he says, stepping back as you give him an eye-roll.

“Says the boy who hasn’t hit a direct shot. Like this—”

With precision and confidence, you assumed your stance and effortlessly hit three bullseyes at varying distances. Jack's jaw nearly hit the ground before a smile crept across his face, clearly impressed.

“Well, damn babe.” He walks over to you, you hand him back his gun. Smirking as you tapped his shoulder.

“Don’t underestimate me next time,” Jack observes as you stride away, unable to wipe the confident smile from his face as he responds with a teasing tone.

“Yes, ma’am.”

Yes, I am Christian. No, this is not satire. Yes, I have been accused of both heresy and performance art, and honestly? That's fine. Not everyone has to get it.

Basically: I love Jesus, and I love the Joker. One saved my soul. One makes me insane. They’re both important.

This blog is me working out my faith the way I know how: through Gotham City metaphors, bad decisions, and very long-winded explanations about why Harley Quinn is a religious metaphor.

You don’t have to get it. What's important is I'm having fun and increasing my understanding of the word of God, while fulfilling my fangirl urges.

Batman is the closest thing dc has to a social work hero. Batman does his whole scare tactics to stop future crime while Bruce Wayne shows up to offer the active criminals a way out. He gives jobs, funds shelters, supports the needs of the community. Batman is there for the criminals but Bruce is there for those who want to be civilians again

So if your complaining about batman not killing, you don't want batman, you want the punisher. No, batman would not kill the joker because that is giving up. That is taking the easy way out. Everyone deserves help. Everyone deserves another chance

Batman greeted Harley when she was let out of Arkham. That moment was worth all the struggle, all the fights because she did it, she got through and came out the other side. They doesn't mean she's perfect, but that means it's possible to change

Thats why batman's criminals go to an asylum, to get help. To have the opertunity to come out the other side and still have a chance. To get a job and live a life once you are ready

It will take time, but batman is ready to wait
