Happy Monday, everyone! 🎉 Let's start the week with a burst of motivation: "Every morning starts a new page in your story. Make it a great one today!" As we harvest today’s bounty, we're also gearing up for an exciting new chapter starting on the first of May at our upcoming Alpine Microgreens Farm! 📖💪

Today marks a pivotal moment in our microgreens journey—not only are we reaping the lush harvest of our current crops, but we're also on the brink of expanding our passion into a bigger space next month. This harvest presented a significant learning experience. I distributed my products to six different golf courses and three restaurants, where I received feedback that emphasized the need for better packaging and a cleaner presentation. Instead of using see-through clamshells and a plain white plastic bag without any labels, it became clear that a more professional and appealing packaging approach was necessary. The next round of samples will be sourced from our newly established Alpine Microgreens Farm! 🌿🚀🌿🚀

Twitter AU (od Twitter Alternate Universe) – termin oznaczający twitterowe fanfiction. Pochodzi od połączenia nazw Twittera i terminu „Alternate Universe”. W kulturze fandomowej określa się nim rodzaj fanfiction, którego akcja dzieje się w innym świecie przedstawionym niż ten z oryginalnego źródła. „Alternate Universe” (w skrócie AU) często połączony jest z popularnymi wśród fandomów tropami (np. College AU, High School AU, Coffee Shop AU, Flower Shop AU, Space AU). Twitter AU jest podgatunkiem Social Media AU. Social Media AU charakteryzują się tym, że duża (bądź cała) część fabuły dzieje się w świecie wirtualnych mediów, najczęściej przez różne sieci społecznościowe i Youtuba. Autorzy fanfiction tego typu, poza zwykłym tekstem, często używają również innych środków przekazu. Najczęściej są to obrazki przedstawiające zrzuty z ekranów telefonów/komputerów, pokazujące interakcje bohaterów. Dzięki użyciu zdjęć, gifów, krótkich filmików i nagrań głosowych oraz spadku roli tekstu pisanego w Social Media AU, ten typ fanfiction stał się popularny na tych właśnie platformach, na których często rozgrywa się fabuła fanfików. Największe uznanie i popularność twórczość ta znalazła na Twitterze.

Terminem Twitter AU określa się przede wszystkim fanfiction, którego większa część fabuły rozgrywa się na Tweeterze poprzez wymyślone przez autora tweety. Niektórzy określają nim również inne rodzaje fanfiction, np. pisane zwykłym tekstem albo komiksy, które zostały opublikowane na Tweeterze. Podobne użycie tego terminu może jednak zostać mylnie odebrane przez czytelników fanfiction, kojarzących go z konkretną formą fanfików, a nie tylko miejscem ich zamieszczania. Co więcej, Twitter AU można przeczytać również poza Twitterem, np. na popularnych fandomowych stronach albo innych social mediach (patrz: AO3, tumblr). Najczęściej spotyka się połączenie obu czynników – miejsca udostępnienia (Tweeter) i sposobu pisania (tweet). Chociaż tweety stanowią zazwyczaj większość takiego fanfiction, Twitter AU rzadko ograniczają się jedynie do zrzutów z Twittera. Często korzystają też z WhatsAppa/Messengera, a okazjonalnie również innych platform, np. Snapchata. Autorzy Twitter AU kreują je poprzez umieszczanie kolejnych odsłon fanfika jako komentarzy pod swoimi wcześniejszymi postami, tworząc tz. „Twitter threads”, czyli chronologiczne ciągi tweetów (mogące mieć od kilku do kilku tysięcy tweetów), po których łatwo jest nawigować każdemu przeciętnemu użytkownikowi social mediów. Taka forma fanfiction jest idealna dla kultury internetowej, w której powstała, ponieważ nie ma w niej prawie w ogóle miejsca na opisy czy długie tłumaczenia, co pozwala na szybki rozwój fabuły. Co więcej, bohaterowie Twitter AU sami przedstawiani są jako użytkownicy social mediów (a często również jako osoby zaangażowane w kulturę fandomową), co pomaga czytelnikom utożsamiać się ze swoimi idolami i wczuć się w przedstawianą historię. Jednocześnie ogranicza to możliwości autorów jeśli chodzi np. o przekazywanie uczuć i myśli bohaterów. Muszą oni zwracać uwagę na specyfikę komunikacji na serwisach społecznościowych i różnego rodzaju komunikatorach, w tym na krótkość i prostotę większości wysyłanych wiadomości. Pod żadnym pozorem nie można pod Twitter AU zostawiać własnych komentarzy, gdyż może to rozerwać ciąg tweetów i bardzo utrudnić, a czasem uniemożliwić znalezienie dalszej części historii. Autorzy Twitter AUs zazwyczaj zaczynają swój thread od tweeta zawierającego instrukcje dla osób dopiero zaczynających swoją przygodę z Twitter AU. Jeśli ktoś chce skomentować takie fanfiction, czytelnik musi zastosować funkcję cytowania postu i skomentować owy cytat.

Ankieta mająca wpływ na dalszy ciąg historii

Dzięki platformie, na której powstają te fanfiki, czytelnicy mają dużo większą możliwość na angażowanie się w fanfiction niż na standardowych forach i stronach przeznaczonych do umieszczania fanfiction. Czytelnicy mogą łatwo zostawiać serduszka, cytować ulubione posty i przesyłać fanfiki między sobą. Autorzy używają hashtagów, by ułatwić czytelnikom znalezienie i rozprzestrzenianie swoich fanfiction. Często korzystają również z urządzenia różnego rodzaju ankiet i głosowań, angażując swoją publiczność w historię. Obecność fanfiction na Twitterze ułatwia też porozumiewanie się pomiędzy czytelnikami fanfików i ewentualne organizowanie eventów bądź trendowanie hashtagów, a nawet tworzenie osobnych fandomów wokół konkretnych fanfików. Najpopularniejszymi przykładami takiego zaangażowania były trendujące na całym świecie dwa hashtagi związane z popularnymi fanfikowymi horrorami z fandomu zespołu BTS: #harvestday (z „Horror the Explorer”) oraz #BTSOutcast (z „Outcast”).

Ma to również związek ze szczególnie silną pozycją kpopowego Stan Twittera (Stan Twitter = społeczność zajmująca się przede wszystkim rzeczami związanymi z poszczególnymi fandomami, którą łączy m.in. wspólna terminologia), z którym Twitter AUs są nierozerwalnie związane. Wielu autorów tworzy swoje prace z kont fanowskich, w których występują pod pseudonimem, najczęściej związanym ze stanowanymi (uwielbianymi) osobami/bohaterami. Zamiast własnych zdjęć ich awatary najczęściej przedstawiają członków kpopowych zespołów albo postacie z anime/mangi. Co więcej, częstym tropem Twitter AUs jest przedstawianie głównych bohaterów jako posiadaczy własnych kont fanowskich, włączając ich tym samym w społeczność Stan Twittera. Bardzo często wymogiem do zrozumienia Twitter AU jest nie tylko wiedza na temat fandomu, ale również znajomość twitterowego slangu. W tego typu fanfikach często pojawiają się terminy takie jak oomf („one of my followers”, follower), mutual (ktoś, z kim wzajemnie się obserwujecie), tea (plotki), wbk („we been knew”, coś, o czym wszyscy wiedzą), locals (ludzie niezwiązani ze Stan Twitterem) itd.

Na rodzaj twórczości, którą można znaleźć na Twitterze, duży wpływ miało wprowadzone w grudniu 2018 zaostrzonych przepisów dotyczących nagości i treści dla dorosłych na platformie Tumblr. Wielu autorów prac 18+ (w fandomach częściej okre��lanych jako NSFW = „Not Safe For Work”), do tej pory korzystających głównie z miniblogowej platformy, przeniosło swoje konta właśnie na Twitter. Pokazało to pewne braki Twittera, wynikające z tego, iż platforma ta nie była prymarnie skierowana ku fandomom. Wiele stron fanowskich, na których można znaleźć fanfiction i fanart, posiada mnóstwo udogodnień, dzięki którym użytkownicy wiedzą, co dokładnie mogą znaleźć (najlepszym przykładem jest AO3, największa na świecie baza tekstowych fanfiction, w której wyszukiwarce można zaznaczyć wybrane ostrzeżenia/tagi, których chce się uniknąć, a także wybrać odpowiednie ograniczenia wiekowe; strona ta ostrzega również niezalogowanych użytkowników przed wejściem na strony zawierające potencjalnie nieodpowiednie treści). Zabezpieczeń takich brakuje na Twitterze, a wypracowana w innych miejscach etyka ostrzegania potencjalnych czytelników przed niektórymi tematami nie jest jeszcze nieodłącznym elementem Twitter AU i często zależy od świadomości i dobrej woli autora.      

Ostrzeżenie przed fanfikiem „Horror the Explorer”

Do tworzenia Twitter AUs można używać sztucznych kont albo photoshopa, ale w ostatnich latach powstały liczne aplikacje kierowane m. in. do autorów Social Media AUs, oferujące oprogramowanie pozwalające tworzyć sztuczne konwersacje smsowe, na WhatsAppie, Messengerze lub DMach, a także nieprawdziwe konta i wpisy na Twitterze, Facebooku, Instagramie, a nawet Youtubie. Są to np. Social Dummy (iOS), Ugly Bird (dawniej Fake Tweets, Android), Fake Chat (Android), WhatsMock Fake Chat (Android). Istnieją również aplikacje skierowane do czytelników, np. Thread Reader App, ułatwiająca poruszanie się po poszczególnych threadach, zapisywanie ich na mobilnych urządzeniach w formie PDF, drukowanie Twitter AUs oraz dostęp do nich nawet bez połączenia użytkowników z siecią.

Lammas Day (Anglo-Saxon hlaf-mas, "loaf-mass"), also known as Loaf Mass Day, is a Christian holiday celebrated in some English-speaking countries in the Northern Hemisphere on 1 August. The name originates from the word "loaf" in reference to bread and "Mass" in reference to the primary Christian liturgy celebrating Holy Communion. It is a festival in the liturgical calendar to mark the blessing of the First Fruits of harvest, with a loaf of bread being brought to the church for this purpose. On Loaf Mass Day, it is customary to bring to a Christian church a loaf made from the new crop, which began to be harvested at Lammastide, which falls at the halfway point between the summer solstice and autumn September equinox. Christians also have church processions to bakeries, where those working therein are blessed by Christian clergy. August begins with Lammas Day, Loaf Mass Day, the day in the Book of Common Prayer calendar when a loaf baked with flour from newly harvested corn would be brought into church and blessed. It's one of the oldest points of contact between the agricultural world and the Church. The others were Plough Sunday in early January, the Sunday after Epiphany and the day before work would begin again in the fields after Christmas festivities, when ploughs would be brought to church to be blessed; and Rogation days in May, the days before Ascension Day, when God's blessing would be sought on the growing crops.
