Note to myself:

I want to better track this journey that I am going through, the last four months have been anything but easy. It's weird because for the first time in my life I have everything I have ever wanted but I'm struggling so hard with my newfound health issues and keeping our finances on track while we build our dreams. However, I do seem to be able to keep it in perspective. These are just small things, seasons of life in our overall lives. I will not let these impact our daily lives, I love my life, I love my family, I love God but that doesn't mean every day will be perfect and that’s okay.

I've decided to start journaling through this experience. And if I am the only one to ever read it I want to do it anyway. I want to look back on things I wish I had journaled about in the past, I want to talk about when I first discovered I had Hashimoto's, at the same time having a newborn baby, building my career, failing at my career, gaining crippling anxiety because of it and starting over again. I want to look back and think back on the two years that I was pretending that I had picked my life up- when I had not at all- when I was on Paleo, my Hashimoto's was in complete remission- per me, so much so I was finally able to get pregnant again and then the devastating loss of that pregnancy, the spiral that put me down, turning to God, falling off of paleo completely, moving into a new pregnancy that was extremely anxiety-ridden and then continuing to grow from there. It's my journey and I want to write about it.

The sound of dripping was heard in a cell while Emiko was being held by her father Tadao. He was worried keeping her warm after they were taken to be well, hurt. He didn’t like them harming his daughter but he was worried of what they might do to her.

Let's Talk BL: My Love Mix Up Th

Hello!! =D

Welcome to my other version of crack posts! This doesn't have any screenshots sorry 😅

Also, a little spoiler warning for those who haven't watched the original Kieta Hatsukoi, I might reference it a little, but it won't be any great big reveals, just small comparisons here and there. This is for the show only, since I haven't read the manga.

I know I shouldn't be putting this right at the top (and honestly, feel free to ignore this particular point, it's entirely a personal opinion), but it's bugging me a little. In the special eps, the director as well as GemFourth have said how their characters are completely opposite to their own personalities, and how the roles were very challenging for them. They are both incredible actors, especially for their age. But, they're young, and suppressing their very personalities is hard. And it shows a bit. Not much, but sometimes, Kongthap has to frown to remain serious, Atom has to actively be hyper etc etc. It doesn't hamper the show in anyway, but it does make my eye twitch because if only they had switched roles, the boys would have soared. This is no way a criticism, I just think it would have been easier for them and the result could have been a bit more finely tuned. I do fear a little for them during the harder scenes.

Pahn is very cute and amazing and portrays Mudmee so well. (Will I have a smol crush on Mudmee just as I did on Hashimoto-chan? Yeah, probably)

The veggies scene was absolutely hilarious. They probably had to shoot that so many times 😭

This version is a little more fast-paced, me thinks, but I don't really mind

The colours are as obvious (and probably the same) as the original. (Kieta was so colour coded, even a rookie like me could see them vividly 😭👍🏼) For more about colours, I'd recommend visiting @respectthepetty

I liked how they showed the origin story of the cat (like in Cherry Magic Th).

Speaking of Cherry Magic. To be very honest, the original Japanese version of Cherry Magic wasn't very high on my favorites list, so I was a bit skeptical about the Thai remake. I was pleasantly surprised, and the Th version will always be one of my top 8 BLs. I was skeptical about MLMU for the exact opposite reason. I adore Kieta Hatsukoi. And that charm would be very hard to recreate, but I decided to wait and see. Till now, my hope remains that this'll be another Cherry Magic 😌 (maybe not that perfect, but still)

WE ARE GETTING THE DANCE SCENE IN EP 2 ITSELF WHAT-

I have nothing to say about character chemistry (it's GemFourth duh); I do have a teeny problem with the lighting/filter (I think the rooftop scenes might have been overexposed so they had to filter it or something), but after reading through the tags I realized that's not just me; the cinematography is so far so good and the characters are - it's just ep 1, mind you - well portrayed.

The unique friendship between Atom and Half is also nicely done.

HOW COULD I FORGET. The ads *vice versa war flashbacks*. It's just so hilarious. At this point, I'm just looking forward to all the ad placements. It's even more funny because GemFourth are the presenters for like 4 of them 😭😭👍🏼

My Love Mix Up Ep 6 Stray Thoughts

Last week, the kids went to a training camp apparently meant to teach them to be braver. Atom and Mudmee tried to do well as to not hold back Kongthap and Half with the hopes of making romantic progress with them. Atom managed to confess his feelings to Kongthap, and they have entered the talking stage.

Atom is so cheesed up about meeting Kongthap, but Kongthap is not fretting one bit.

Half and Atom may be good, but Mudmee is ignoring him.

I do enjoy that inexperience remains a big part of this story.

It really is embarrassing to confess you feelings and have someone not remember the moment you’ve been holding onto for possibly years.

I still got beef with this teacher for calling Atom a cheater.

Papang is the tutor!

Man, the ads really take me out of this show.

Presenting a different romantic moment he remembers in lieu of the one for Mudmee is actually a kind way to acknowledge her feelings. Too bad, he couldn’t remember the taste of the cupcake.

Man, this show is so sleepy. It took me a while to watch this week.

Kieta Hatsukoi Comparison: This is probably the first time we’ve been able to talk at length about a big diversion between the shows. The Thai show put the practice match earlier, and the Japanese show put it here. This isn’t exactly bad, because this volleyball match doesn’t happen after the ski trip in the manga. I can’t find where it happens in the manga right now, so someone else chime in if this entire bit is a TV show creation. Either way, this leads to different beats between the shows. Weirdly enough, the Thai show is on a closer track than the Japanese one by doing the movie date in the follow up.

One of the big things that stands out is how explicit Aoki’s bisexual awakening is, and it’s his opening concern for this episode following the camping trip. He never expected to develop feelings for a guy, and doesn’t have any framework for how dating and relationships between guys is supposed to work. This offers ample opportunity for comedy with Aida, which Michieda and Suzuki are both capable of delivering. Aoki being unsure about what they are to each other as guys works well for his brewing jealousy about a girl who might have a crush on Ida.

Conversely, Aida helping Aoki with Ida feeds well into Aida feeling bummed about Aoki ignoring him when he tries to talk about Hashimoto.

A small note, but I do miss the comedy Aoki’s mom gave us with her yelling from offscreen.

The comparison commentary will get more complex now. The Thai show will go beyond the Japanese show, and we’re at the stage where the Japanese show made some of its own alterations.

I’ve titled this dreaming because that’s how you would feel in this very moment…as if you were dreaming. How could you have gotten so lucky?

I love piano instrumentals and I associate this one particularly with how it would feel to be with Chan. Soothing yet exhilarating. Deeply satisfying to be loved by him.

Perfect. That’s how you would describe this moment as you look back on it. The time is 9:13pm on a Thursday night. Date night with the most important person in your life. Having spent the night together, sharing light touches and laughs that make your heart ache…but in a good way…what is this feeling? Dare you say you might love this man. Be in love with him.

Night coming to an end as you set there in his lap, straddling him, one arm around his neck and the other softly caressing his cheek. That feeling you belt earlier in your chest coming back, making it way to your stomach as you fight back to urge to let it all out. Tell him much you not do it love him but how much you need him to take you. Right here and now.

Seemingly reading your mind. You two already connected, he gently gabs your face bringing you closer to him..

“Can I tell you something?” *kiss

“Of course” *kiss back

“Promise not to freak out?”

“Promise baby”
