𝒯𝐻𝐸 𝑅𝒪𝒪𝑀 𝐼𝒮 dimly lit, the only glow coming from the flickering neon outside, bleeding red and violet through the grimy window. It casts jagged shadows along the cracked walls, dipping Vi’s face in sharp angles—𝒹𝒶𝓃𝑔𝑒𝓇𝑜𝓊𝓈, 𝓅𝓇𝑒𝒹𝒶𝓉𝑜𝓇𝓎.

Your heart is hammering, pulse pounding so loudly you swear she can hear it. You take a step back, just one, but it’s enough. Enough for her to notice, enough for her lips to curl into something 𝒹𝒶𝓇𝓀𝓁𝓎 𝒶𝓂𝓊𝓈𝑒𝒹, enough for her stance to shift—shoulders squaring, head tilting.

𝐿𝒾𝓀𝑒 𝒶 𝒻𝒾𝑔𝒽𝓉𝑒𝓇 𝒷𝑒𝒻𝑜𝓇𝑒 𝒶 𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁.

You don’t make it two steps before she moves.

The door is almost in reach, but then—

𝐵𝒜𝒩𝒢

Vi’s palm slams against it, fingers splayed, blocking your exit. The force of it rattles the frame, and you barely manage to swallow a gasp before her other hand lands on the wall beside your head, caging you in completely.

𝒮𝒽𝑒'𝓈 𝑒𝓋𝑒𝓇𝓎𝓌𝒽𝑒𝓇𝑒. The scent of sweat, of alcohol and blood, of adrenaline still crackling off her skin. 𝒜 𝓌𝒾𝓁𝒹𝒻𝒾𝓇𝑒, 𝒷𝓊𝓇𝓃𝒾𝓃𝑔, 𝓈𝓊𝒻𝒻𝑜𝒸𝒶𝓉𝒾𝓃𝑔.

“Goin’ somewhere, sweetheart?” Vi drawls, voice low, husky, teasing—but not soft. Never soft.

You stiffen, refusing to look at her. "Move, Vi."

She hums, thoughtful, leaning in until her breath ghosts over your cheek. “Mm. Nah. Don’t think I will.”

You press your palms flat against her chest, pushing—trying to, at least. But all you get is unyielding muscle, solid and tense beneath your touch. Vi doesn’t budge. If anything, she lets out a low, amused chuckle, the sound vibrating against your hands.

𝐹𝓊𝒸𝓀.

“You’re breakin’ my heart here, babe,” she murmurs, her fingers lifting, tracing the edge of your jaw, featherlight. The contrast is startling—the roughness of her knuckles against the softness of your skin. Gentle. Too gentle.

It makes you shiver.

“After all I’ve done to keep you safe,” she continues, almost lazily, her fingers dipping lower, brushing against your collarbone. “After all the shit I’ve fought through for you. And you think you can just… walk away?”

Your throat bobs. “Vi, please—”

She smiles.

But it isn’t kind. It isn’t reassuring.

It’s the kind of smile she wears in the pit, just before she throws the first punch.

Her thumb brushes over your bottom lip, pressing down, just slightly. Not enough to hurt—just enough to make your breath hitch.

“You don’t leave me,” Vi whispers, her lips a hair's breadth from yours. 𝒜 𝓌𝒽𝒾𝓈𝓅𝑒𝓇. 𝒜 𝓌𝒶𝓇𝓃𝒾𝓃𝑔. 𝒜 𝓅𝓇𝑜𝓂𝒾𝓈𝑒.

Her voice drops lower, eyes hooded, dark, unwavering.

"𝐸𝓋𝑒𝓇".

｡𖦹°‧⭑.ᐟ V; i'm obsessed with the idea of villain vi/dark vi. this isn't really villain vi but i'm thinking of writing it! i've been preparing quite a few series these past few days and i realised i didn't post anything for so long, so i wrote this...thing. idek if it's good enough but i had to put something out here. but i'm so happy with the ideas i brainstormed for the few series i have planned, stay tuned! <3
