3, 4, 6 and 14 for the fanfic reader thingy
3: slowburn or established relationship?
Both? Neither? For brio at least, and I have forgotten all else, like established burning mess? I mean I love reading both these kinds of stories, but I really enjoy the canonesque sweet spot where something's established but they won't acknowledge it? And/or they're boning and the slow burn is emotional rather than physical
4: has a fic ever made you cry?
Oh, definitely. I'm a sap! I weep at everything! It's fairly usual for me to burst into tears three pages into a book cos it's SO GOOD AND I GET TO GET LOST IN IT AND I'M SO HAPPY
6: what's your least favourite fanfic category?
Hmm, I'm not sure I understand categories. But, something I tend to avoid/find hard to read are fics that use sexual assault and/or domestic abuse as a backdrop or source of drama? There's enough of that in mainstream fiction, lol. That's not to say that these topics can't be handled well in a nuanced way, and I think I'm open to reading about them if that's the case. But I just kind of hate them as tropes?
14: what's your favourite AU setting?
I mean... I don't think I'm looking for a specific au setting when I read? I know some people can't get enough of coffee shops or high schools but I'm not fiending for a specific set up.
Weirdly, as I have little interest in zombies generally, I ADORE a lot of zombieish gg aus though??
Somewhere in the darkness, us together for a while by @fairhairedkings (not an au though really, but I'll arbitrarily insist rio is a zombie)
And I feel fine by @mamey2422 (is it an au or is it just the future??)
An adventure by @neveroffanon (starting to doubt whether this is an au now too??)
Although I'm realising now 'contains zombies' isn't really a setting hmm. Well it's the best I can conjure with my half a brain cell at this this!
