oh noooo it's so cold in the camp this morning, wouldn't want our resident warlock to catch a chill (aka kila is very, VERY determined to make this courtship a successful one)

kila has a rizz technique called "slowly ensnare the potential mate with long intent stares, courtship gifts left at the tent's door, and showing off strength and capability in battle." despite being a charming fellow himself, it takes wyll an embarrassingly long time to understand whats happening, much to kila's dismay. a hilarious byproduct of barbarian outlander/upper class baldurian miscommunication.

Wyll has laid Kila back down in the grass and leans over them with a tender, trusting smile on his face. the moon, the sun, the radiant dawn; it is with you that I find the courage to face them all. it is because of you that I am not afraid to anymore.

thinking of how when wyll was first cursed with his horns he was so fearful that the world would see him as a monster, and yet he never changed in kila's eyes. he was still just as beautiful, just as worthy of an adoring gaze. to kila, he'd always be just wyll.

the “Just Wyll” part is very literal. to the world, he is The Blade of Frontiers or Mizora’s Pet or Duke Ravengard’s Son or The Exile, but kila has always seen just a man. a sweet, brave man who uplifts the downtrodden and dances when he thinks no one’s looking :’)
