I suppose we should just add Conterfitting and Forgery to Grians (extensive) criminal record.
We can put it right next to the arson, the multiple cases of theft and mutiny

What is my muse afraid of?
Template by @astrronomemes
A lot of these are headcanons but since I kin Taako they might as well be canon to me :)
COMMON FEARS & PHOBIAS:
The dark l Small spaces l Suffocation l Water l Thunderstorms l Dogs l Snakes l Spiders l Insects l Clowns l Blood l Dentists l Hospitals l Needles l Germs l Heights l Fire l Public speaking l Large crowds l Meeting new people l Being alone l Being touched l Failure l Imperfection l Societal rejection l Physical intimacy l Emotional intimacy l Being abandoned l Being forgotten
What other fears do they have? In a general sense, Taako is afraid of not being good enough. Not making good enough food, not being strong enough to protect his loved ones, not being able to do what needs to be done, etc.
Why do they have these fears? Are these fears innate, trauma-based, or generational? A lot of these fears were established during his childhood, especially his fears about being alone/abandoned/forgotten. Since he always had Lup around (until after the Stolen Century) he never had a chance to be alone with his thoughts, and that was how he liked it. Being alone meant being unsafe. Lup was his only safe space until he met the rest of the IPRE and expanded his family.
Have they ever tried to work through or confront these fears? How did it go? Taako was sorta forced to work through his more silly fears (snakes, clowns) at a young age, but his fear of emotional intimacy is seen throughout most of his life post-Stolen Century. He's very open about his emotions when he's around his sister, but he's pretty closed off to everyone else. This is especially true after he forgets Lup and just becomes closed off entirely and doesn't show any emotional attachment to Tres Horny Boys until during the Suffering Game when he astral projects to save Magnus. That's the closest he gets to showing that he genuinely cares about someone. After remembering the Stolen Century, he finally allows himself to show that he can experience emotions other than aloofness and rage. He shows sorrow, he shows regret, he shows fear.
Anyways.

HC + trust.
headcanon memes
//Farina rarely places much trust in others, especially not in those of noble backgrounds. She's stated before that all she can trust is gold. Or in other words, solid objects that have value all on their own. Trust, friendship? Those are worthless and temporary. Friends simply come and go. The life of a mercenary is ever wandering. She too will travel from place to place. None can stay.
//And kindness from an employer? Aren't those just the strings to strangle her with? She's fully expecting a sudden betrayal if she gets her employer suddenly gets generous on her. Like, really, what would they be playing at? Who spends that much on a dime-a-dozen mercenary? In the end, all she can trust is herself...and gold.
(Farina and Hector B)
Farina: We mercenaries are pawns, bought for gold. It would be wrong for us to expect friendship from anyone. All we can trust... is gold.
