Edgiest Character: Kliment!

He was raised by a guerilla resistance group. Got scooped up by the other side in the middle of a suicide mission. Other side is nicer to him and also he gets intensely attached to the people there (one, Vadik, becomes his husband). But he still wants to set everything on fire and gets very "I've become what I hate" about it. You know how some guys are wifeguys? Kliment is a husbandguy. Absolutely unwell about his husband. He's stationed overseas and misses Vadik and gets very pensive and drinks in a tank top very attractively. He's very cool and "manly" in an action hero-type way that his partner in the field, Tsezar, finds obnoxious. 

5. How far is your OC willing to go to get what they want?

Well, his whole thing starts with him trying to blow himself up for The Cause and that's when he's a teenager so there’s your baseline. He's very "for the greater good" and "casualties are unavoidable" about things.

10. What's an AU that would be interesting to explore with your OC?

He's so intense and ridiculous I feel like he'd be right at home in some serious Game of Thrones + the Witcher fantasy bullshit. Like he already speaks like a dramatic elf.

Hmm, not really. He has the same VIBES as Michael Fassbender's Magneto?! Like with a manifesto and especially the single manly tear and black turtlenecks. But they look nothing alike.

20. Does your OC have a tendency to get jealous? If so, how does this manifest?

He turns into a big baby if he feels like someone is offering his husband something he can't offer. He's not, for example, worried about Tsezar + his husband (Vadik) because Kliment knows he's cooler than Tsezar and that Vadik likes him better. But if it was someone that was like, mega cute he'd get very depressed and drink and smoke hotly and shed a single manly tear like "I can never offer Vadik such cuteness...I'm too broken, I'm trapping him in my haunted life when what he needs is someone pure and sweet without such dark shadows upon their souls". This bullshit continues until Tsezar tells Vadik and Vadik calls Kliment and talks him out of his weird emo hole.

The same thing would happen if Tsezar met someone way cooler than Kliment and started hanging out with him. He'd be really upset and feel like Tsezar was going to leave (?!?!) him for this cooler person but wouldn't know why. He's like a dog that sees a bigger dog and is like "wtf. wtf... this is ruining my life?!?!" but once he's made friends with the bigger dog and is assured he's not going to be replaced he calms down (re: he grew up being very disposable).

25. What is your favorite thing about your OC?

I think I like that he's so "ultra cool spy guy with a dark past" but then is also embarrassing. When he's younger he has no chill and wants to talk about politics and manifesto shit all the time. Picture a fucking teenager trying to lecture another teenager (Tsezar) about what a lumpenproletariat is. Very "sir, this is a Wendy's" bullshit. When he's older, only his very close friends get to see his cringe behavior but it's still there.

Playing a non-Durge Cin run on BG3 because I have anxiety and I just… don’t know? I think of all the characters I’ve started Cin was my favourite but Durge is imposing and I want to just try playing an average Tav playthrough where the asshole angsty bullshit just comes from being Lolth-born Drow, that’s enough edgy bullshit for Cin without going full Durge. They still get to have like… “I’m raised among the death and poison and assassination of the Spider Queen. Being able to walk out in the sun without being blinded or burned is bizarre. Pain and I are old lovers… I give and receive.” Like. I can make a dramatic little Drow bitch without making them a Durge.

And I’m just. Really in the mood to embrace my inner teenage emo edgelord okay? Like. Cinnabar “Cin” the Draconian Sorcerer is like. Fully embracing the Ebony Darkness Dementia Way experience of making an OC only part of my indulgence is how much metaphorical/allegorical/literary or symbolic references I can fit in to make him dramatic, tragic and badass.

And also hot and weird. I’m giving him weird little vestigial wings, since the entry for Draconian Sorcerers says they can develop wings for a short period of time at a curtain level and fly for a couple turns basically. I’ve decided to modify it as he’s born with very small vestigial wings, like his scales, and when he gains the spell and ability to fly the wings grow and develop into larger and more powerful appendages that still technically would not physically support him in flight so there is magic involved, but that much should be obvious given the physical transformation taking place. But yeah. It’s not canon to the game but it’s my OC, my rules. The wings are purely an aesthetic thing and basically a deformity for the first like fifteen levels of the character. But my idea for him is like… someone thought it was attractive and intimidating and since he came with built in magic it was a useful investment so long as he showed results.

So like. Yeah he’s the super special Dragon Drow Sorcerer with a tragic backstory because they were special, like. That’s why he’s a main character. Sometimes that’s the kind of story it is, about the specialist special Drow in the whole Underdark who save the whole world with their feral nonbinary energy and extremely cute badass cool attractive looks.

so Quartz is my babygirl and my favourite OC. fun fact he was originally a straight love interest in a CYOA story I was writing on gotoquiz.com in like 2012. how our stories grow with us

Quartz is an emo scene adult (30) with black and white hair that falls over his eyes and he has the all the lip and eyebrow and ear piercings and striped shirts under band t-shirts thing going on.

his edgy boi angsty backstory is that his mom was my worst nightmare ending for myself (forced to get married and have children and hating all of them forever and trying and failing to be a good mom and eventually just falling apart) and so his childhood sucked due to a mixture of neglect, abuse, and having to take care of himself and failing. he had a bestest friend named Hollis, and a little brother named Jade who was the light of his life, until he gets killed in a hit and run bc mom couldn't be bothered to pick him up after extracurriculars. this is Quartz's villain origin story so he ends up stealing his mom's shit and leaving home at age 16 to go off himself or die or whatever the fuck but then he gets possessed by a dude (Edward) who thinks he is pretty cool :)c Edward helps Quartzie murder the guy who killed his brother. Edward is also a 700 year old freak and jackass who ruins his life more by egging him on to steal shit, do whatever he wants (namely whatever drugs he can get his hands on), fight people who bug him, knife himself but not die, and also possessing and unpossessing him and leaving his body half immortal and half mortal (checkered, like his hair).

he goes to check in on his mom one day and finds her dead on the couch (either killed herself or wasted away, unclear) which understandably ruins his life (again) (x4)

after a good decade of alternative highs of possession and lows of freezing on the ground on Canadian winter nights, Edward decides to bring Quartz to a home for other similarly possessed people (my childhood dream of living in a house with a bunch of friends à la Teen Titans) who all love him to bits despite him being broken, moody, violent and dirty. they don't really see him like that, even though that's all he thinks he is. they see a guy who never got to be a kid whose actually really adorable and decent and has cool interests (see: his backpack full of drawings Hollis gave him, stolen metal and rock CDs, comics, tokens from his brother, his 8 pocket knives, etc), who gets excited about new things, who tries to clean up after himself and treat people with respect, and who might shove you but apologizes immediately afterwards.

theres a trans man who takes a lot of naps and gives really good hugs, a magician who accidentally became his mom friend, a strange famous bald girl who likes being as much of a bum as possible, a genius bubbly girl who decides everyone is her bestie, and a genuine and hopeful but miserable man (Dominique) who was just recently possesed and lost his fiance on the way to his uni grad.

Quartz is a deeply scarred human being by this point and wouldn't mind if they ALL blew up and died, and spends a long time running off and ditching them and having some weird toxic friendship with miserable man.

Dominique is weirdly drawn to him even though he's Magna Cum Laude and well-off and never known pain, but he loves how underneath all the jagged edges this guy is genuine and not mean and the way he talks ab things he likes makes him like it too. Quartz is weirdly drawn to what he sees as a melodramatic priviledged bitch who is really smart and cute and sweet and handsome and kind and adorable and nice to me and nice to everyone and I want him to smile forever FUCK.

Dominique uses the magic power he gained from the possession to heal his suffering just a little (through a mind link). Quartz becomes somewhat addicted to this until Edward convinces him it's fake and bullshit and doesn't matter and on the other hand Dominique's benevolent possessor is like are you fucking kidding me your Summa Cum Laude fiance just died and you're mosying it up with this freak and EDWARD??? (theyve always hated Edward) (but never did anything about it to keep the peace) you should be ashamed of yourself

it takes Quartz a LOT of help including having a home and food and peace, having tv and junk food and homemade food, having people who like him and dont hurt him, just being unpossessed and trying to detox and thinking and thinking and thinking and also a chance meeting with the suicide spirit of his best friend Hollis (not chance) (they were looking for him) to make him realise that even if everything in the world sucks and he sucks and pain is eternal, there's no way out of existence and becoming a suicide spirit will just result in endless cycles of rumination and torture and no way out. LIVING on the other hand? it guarantees always another chance for small joy and if there is any source of joy in the world including friendship, he should embrace it. there's no way out so you might as well try to ease your own suffering and enjoy the good. because there IS good

(ps. I spent 5 years writing the scene where he decides he doesn't want to kill himself, because I was going through the same shit, and it finally came to be when I stopped being actively suicidal. unfortunately unlike him I'm still miserable. hey whats my other name besides Sumi again...)

so he tells Edward to fuck off, has a big fight and Edward leaves for good, and then tells Dominique's possessor to fuck off, and it works and they are humbled and apologize and agree to stop being nosy and resume their promise to being kid to Dominique (and by extension, Quartz) forever again.

Dominique and Quartz end up able to talk and get to know each other and Dominique nurtures him and Quartz teaches him to loosen up and they end up little soulmates in that house and get married!!! everyone else is super supportive and love their two new additions, a smart genuine hopeful and loving man who studies a lot like Genius Bubbly, and a jaded but good man who needs a lot of help but is learning to live again

currently my beloved Quartz is taking antidepressants and going to therapy (it's working for him) and spending each day with a friend or reading (my love never finished high school) and chilling with his husband.

Thoughts on Tales of Arise thus far (spoilers up to the end of the Cyslodia arc):

- Like with ntwewy, I’m also having a very difficult time putting this game down. I feel very blessed to get to play two very good JRPG’s this year.

- The combat system is sooooo good! It’s on par with Tales of Graces, which had my favorite combat system in the entire series. I love just going to town on all them zeugles. I’ve also had a lot of fun playing all of the currently available party members and am having difficulty deciding on who to main. 

- This game looks gorgeous! I really love the painterly style it seems to have! 

- The CP system is kind of a drag. What makes this worse is that you don’t get access to orange gels until after Cyslodia, and even then, it costs 3000 gald a pop. Like, the boss battle with Gananbelt was already difficult, but what made it extra difficult for me was that I ran out of CP and I only had one pineapple gel to tide me over until the battle was over. 

- I do really miss after battle skits, though. Especially since I’ve felt like the after battle skits kept getting better with each new entry. You can hear the characters talk about the battle afterwards, but it’s just not the same when you don’t see an accompanying animation to go with it. I just always felt like those were very charming.

- I love all of the party members so far! Alphen is a lot more endearing and wholesome than I expected, in stark contrast to his rather edgy design. Shionne’s pretty cool so far, but she took more time for me to warm up to. She’s a lot like Milla (likes to eat, much sterner than her male counterpart, very focused on her mission), but tsundere. So, basically Alt Milla I guess.

- Her dynamic with Alphen’s pretty great. They’re basically April and Andy from Parks and Rec. I was about to go on to say that Alphen is just a smarter Andy, then I remembered that he attached rocks to his sword as “weight training” after watching Law do something similar, so...

- Love how Shionne refuses to continue on to Balseph until she gets a nice dress. Girl knows what she wants. Good for her.

- The owls!!!! They’re the best! I love them! I squeal any time Hootle does literally anything. And the Hootle King! His weird little animation where he dumpster dives for rewards is just...It’s good man. It’s good stuff.

- When Law came in to rescue his dad, I literally cheered. I genuinely thought Zephyr would get to live, but then Menick came in and he. Literally stabs him. In the back. 

- That one shot of Law screaming in the opening is now very painful to watch.

- I didn’t really like the opening that much at first, but now it’s started to grow on me. I look forward to hearing it every time I boot up the game.

- The way that skits are presented also took some getting used to. I do like how it’s presented to look comic book-esque. It’s a neat touch.

- The soundtrack sounds really nice, I think letting Motoi Sakuraba use a full orchestra definitely paid off.

- So overall, I’m really enjoying my experience so far! It’s definitely lived up to the hype and I’m glad it seems to be doing really well in terms of sales and reviews so far! This game deserves it!

- Oh, one last thing, I did the demo for the PS4, and apparently you get an attachment as a reward for doing that, but I can’t find it anywhere? I checked the Tales subreddit and some other game forums, but everyone else seems to have the same issue. So if anyone knows how to claim it, please let me know!

1. Ik Ik "haha how cringe are you" of me to say, but honestly? Homestuck. Homestuck helped me in a time of need and when i so desperately wanted something to latch onto. Finally, I caved into my friends telling me to read it-- and it's been a blast!! The epilogues / hs^2 make me feel kinda sad though, because so much of what I loved about the original was yeeted through the nine circles of hell and into the trash. I love Y/ffany's (I call her Yippi tho) design, the art is really pretty at times, Harry is a major dork, I LIVE for seeing Vrissy bc honestly?? Her design is 10/10, very early 2000s emo style and I also live for that. Tavros is cute and a nerd and I think that's swell!

But in terms of story and how any of this happens, it makes me sad to see it happen. If Vriska could return as Vrissy, why not OTHER beta trolls? Where's my Eridan fish man, writers?? Give me the boy or perish by my fury.

2. Also super "haha how cringe are you" but,,, murder cats (Warriors), esp the early 2005-2015 amvs and stuff. I remember watching Flightfootwarrior's "I Will Not Bow" Scourge amv for HOurs and having no clue what was happening, but all these edgy kitties were KITTIES! It's introduced me to a lot of music I still listen to to this very day (Imagine Dragons, Young/the entirety of Hollywood Undead, Breaking Benjamin). And yknow what?? This new arc is absolute chaos, but in the good way.

I'm an "OG Fan". I prefer the first arc, The Prophecies Begin, to almost any of the other arcs. I just could never get into the other arcs-- not to say I haven't read them, I HAVE and the Fire Scene was probably one of my favorite moments beside grumpy Jaypaw, god complex Lionblaze, and fear the gods Hollypaw. I thought the build-up for it was SUPER satisfying. Gray Wing is my baby and I fully embellish in the Gray Wing is Silverpelt theory.

This new arc is definitely something new for the universe. While I didn't read aVoS (but I may do that if i can find the files for it), and so I don't know the major events of it other than what I've seen M.A.P.'s (Multi-Animator Projects, for clarification,,, bc unfortunately that term is also something disgusting). There's fucking cat possession and all the Clans questioning their belief system, yo. Shit be on fire.

Also the Imposter is 100% Ashfur, that's canon now, yeah??? Also im sorry but fuck Root x Bristle that's the dumbest shit I have ever seen. Give me Root x Shadow or face the wrath of my dragon plushies.

3. As much as I hate the author,,,,, Harry Potter. It's been a major part of my life for as long as I can remember. I can never really remember why, but I've always just loved it- the movies, the books, the extra little merch that would pop up in my local Walmart. Of course my favorite character is Draco Malfoy. I could go on and on and ON about how I think his character arc was SHIT and JKR didn't have the balls to make him a confident gay man that was always implied through the text (at least, my lesbian ass thought it was implied but i may just be projecting, idk). I could ramble about Draco for HOURS and what I think his character SHOULD have been and how his parents are horrible (more specifically, Lucius bc Narcissa [?] Actually showed a few good moments), and a child should never have to pay for their parents sins.

Oh noo, Draco's a villain because he's a victim of major abuse and peer pressure? He's a villain because a literal child can be horrible and they'll always always always stay as a horrible little fiend?? Fuck that. He's a child.

Unlike manchild grease pan Snape, who was a racist piece of shit and shouldn't have became a fucking school teacher but it's okay because he was ~~~in love~~~. No, fuck you, he was a creep. James Potter n Co may have been a little posh bitch to you, Snape, but that's no fucking excuse to continue to bluntly be a little cunt all the way into adulthood. You're an adult who flatly changed your PATRONUS to imitate Lily's. You have no excuse. And Harry went and named his child after you LIKE JESUS CHRIST, DID RON'S SISTER NOT HAVE A SAY IN THE NAMES TOO?????

I also fully adore the idea that Muggles can run into Hogwarts and their patronus can 100% be a made up, fantasy creature. Imagine you learn the patronus spell and suddenly fucking ARCEUS comes from your wand. Imagine learning the spell and CHTULU (i did not spell that right but im so tired) comes from your wand-- an entire ass fucking Lovecraftian, Eldrith horror is just the embodiment of you. What if it was a fucking Homestuck character like Vriska? How fucking METAL would that be?? Hskajssowjjsjs get on it fandom.

4. Hee hee very evident by my url but Pokemon is another major thing of mine. While vespiquen isn't my favorite (that title goes to Hydreigon), it is definitely up there!

I've ALWAYS enjoyed the idea of Pokemon. You run around, training up these fight monsters and collecting them. I remember playing my sister's Ruby version on her flip-up Gameboy. I couldn't even read but I ran around catching god only knows how many of the same pokemon wherever she was. Apparently, I had fought for hours in the same area and leveled her Blaziken up to lvl 50 something and left her lvl 30s in the dust LMAO.

I got my first game when it was Pearl/Diamond. It was Pearl, and it still holds a very fond place in my heart. I could barely read, I could barely write-- I had named my Turtwig something along the lines of "MmorpHy" and my player boy "ZbsibJ". Yes I remember the names slightly. I really didn't get far-- I barely got to the first gym but I was just so happy to play it.

I eventually lost the game, as a 5 year old would do, but I can still vividly remember what was happening when the game arrived. I had just came back from the dentist and was quite tired from fighting the dentist bc I was super scared. Mom suddenly handed me a box and said it was mine-- my overseas (at that time) dad had bought me Pearl and my sister Diamond, because I lost my shit about it when he visited one time.

Well, tdlr, I played it for about five minutes while struggling to stay awake against the loopy gas they made me take. I fell asleep listening to Twinleaf Town's soundtrack. Every time I play a rom of Pearl and I get to where the player's house fades in and I hear that first tune of the song, I get a huge smile on my face and cry-- as.. Weird as it sounds.

A few years later, I had gotten Pokemon Black bc I liked Reshiram on the cover. Now, this one I could actually READ when playing, but I don't remember a lot of things about it. I probably lost this one too, as a 8/9 year old would do. I DO remember, I chose Snivy and my sister chose Tepig (hrmm there's a theme here of grass/fire goin on......) and vibing to the music. I was so amazed by the sprites moving, I just kept getting into encounters to see the sprites move (oh boy, no one tell younger 7-9 y/o me about Zelda......oh wait....)

Playing Pokemon NOW, as a 17 year old """gifted""" chick, I stil have very fond memories. I recently beat Pokemon Black again and GOD the OTS SLAPS. I fucking adore the soundtrack-- the track that plays when you battle a trainer, the low health dings being turned into a legit song that also slaps, the battle! gym leader themes-- and oh my gOd, the legendary theme is amazing? It really tells you just how glorious these pokemon are supposed to be. It's not intimidating like Groudon/Kyroge/Rayquaza's themes. It's not action packed like Palkia/Dialga's is, it's not filled with tension like Giratina/Arceus's is-- but it radiates the GLORY that the beasts portray. And I live for that. (Also, Kyurem's version is my favorite because it glitches in the beginning and that's rly cool)

P/D/P and BW/BW2's stories, imo, are some of the greatest ones. Yeahhh, US/USUM's is cool and I haven't played XY nor SwSh-- but the ones I can find memorable are PDP and BW/BW2. I love N. I love Barry. They're my sons. Ghetsis is fucking terrifying, Cyrus needs a hug. Giratina scared the piss out of me when I was younger, which was NOT helped by Giratina and The Sky Warrior.

I think my favorite movies are the gen 4 ones. The Rise of Darkrai having a tear-jerking theme for such a mysterious pokemon (i still tear up when i hear Ocarion), Giratina being spiteful is a mood and Shaymin was cute, Arceus being angry is also a mood. Yeah, Pokemon 4Ever made me cry my eyes out over Celebi, Mewtwo Returns made me again cry because Mewtwo accepting who he is, I remember how vastly different the BW movies are-

I just. I have a lot of memories with the series, even if Gamefreak and Nintendo kinda do the series dirty a lot (your top-grossing thing and you made That monstrosity for the Switch? How dare you.). It's comforting to be stressed and pull up my roms for the games and to play them. Mystery Dungeon is incredibly fun to play, Pokemon Ranger is really fun with the concept (Shadows of Almia continues to kick my ass to this very day and FUCK the Jungle Relic, I hate the Water Challenge fucking gyarados bullshit). I remember the pokemon I got for MD (I got Time, my sis got Darkness) was Mudkip, if that is any help.

I love my little fictional pixel monsters.

5. Yup, someone told tiny 7-9 y/o me about console games. The legend of Zelda. My first Zelda game was Twilight Princess on the Wii and BOY did I play the fucking SHIT out of that game.

Honestly, looking back and looking at playthroughs now-- I still love TP. Twilight Princess is still one of my top favorite Zelda games-- yes, even after playing OoT, Majora's Mask, Wind Waker, Skyward Sword, the anniversary four swords edition for the DS where you could play by yourself (Nintendo pls bring that back, I don't have friends to play it with ;-;), Phantom Hourglass- ect.

Something about Twilight Princess grabbed me by the head and yeeted me into the world. I can remember playing it for hours with little to no breaks. I, a tiny 9 y/o, had gotten the hang of the controllers and managed to get past the tutorial quite easily. And then, I was launched into the game and I wasn't stopping for NOTHING. Mom and Dad would have to force me to save and get off to go and eat dinner. THAT sucked.

I had done everything on my own up until the first temple, the forest temple. Not where/when you saved the dumb kid, but when you were saving the spirit's light. Theeeeeeennn I got stuck on the fucking Forest Temple for deadass six months straight. I'd play for hours, running around in circles, unable to figure out where to go, and because I didn't grasp the temple's purpose of being that way- I'd get angry and get off. It wasn't until dad looked up a walkthrough and talked me through what I was supposed to do that I learned how to get through temples.

I had gotten to the last little fight with Ganondorf before the Wii broke and i could no longer play. Despite the Wii being broke and we got rid of it, I was ADAMANT on keeping the game, and I kept that game for YEARS. It was an original copy out of a sealed box, and I eventually lost it when I left it accidentally at my now ex-friend's house.

She had a Wii and I went "hey I have a Wii game!" And I brought my Zelda over. Worst fucking choice of my goddamn life. Mom called me to come home and said I couldn't sleep over like the original plan was, and that was it. My ex-friend stashed my Zelda and I never saw it again. And, even if I wanted to-- I couldn't get it back, which makes me upset. We had a BAD falling out. She likely doesn't even remember it's there, or sold it to the local game junkie kid who buys ALL games.

But I still love the game. Midna was amazing, and I loved how snarky she was and she has a very cute design! The game's OST is fucking phenomenal. Midna's Desperate Hour makes me cry bc goddamn it really sells how serious that situation is. I love Hyrule Field's theme in this game. I love the Twilight Realm's song. Zant was fucking hilariously scary. Ganondorf's design in this game scared the piss out of me when I was younger.

Midna and this game's Link and Zelda are def my favorites. Yeah yeah, Sheik is cool and all I Guess but dhsushwishs Midna holds the special place in my heart. She was totally my gay awakening BUT

For other game antagonists, I adore Ghirahim-- let's go you funky little queer-coded villain. Skull Kid was great, I love the entire dynamic of him. Prankster lost soul stumbles upon Majora's Mask and the mask makes him act out due to powers-- which, I actually took very heavy inspiration from for one of my OCs. The moon falling to Hyrule was a fucking terrifying looming threat.

But the game series holds a place, and I've yet to be able to play BoTW-- although, I'm fairly certain I'll like it. The playthroughs I've watched of it are all fairly decent! I just. Gotta save up enough money to buy it haha.

Dang guess I gotta go watch a Twilight Princess playthrough again.

Felt like doing some replies the ~ old fashioned ~ way. I should be packing, but I don’t wanna. One good thing about this semester is that I don’t have classes on Monday morning, which means I don’t have to go to Prague on Sunday. But I’ll be once again going home late on Friday -_- Oh well. Maybe I could skip the lecture every once in a while to go home on Thursday afternoon.

I’m scared. Not really of what I’ll have to learn because I know that even if it’s difficult, I’ll probably get it in my brain in the end. Somehow. I’m more scared that once again, I’ll be left alone. I haven’t really found a stable friend group. I mean, I talk to some people sometimes, but I wouldn’t call it a friendship. One friend that I thought I could rely on doesn’t even bother saying hello to me anymore. I don’t know what I did to him, he just stopped talking to me. But maybe it’s for the best. Even when we still talked, I couldn’t believe how judgemental he was, and I often wondered if he talks about me like that too when I can’t hear it. He probably did. Oh well, I’ll see what I can do. I hope I’ll run into someone who is kinda like my best friend from high school.

As for sims stuff, I know I still owe some things to some people and I feel bad about it. You’ll get it eventually. I’m actually looking forward to doing it too. Makeovers are fun. I’d also like to release some more sims, I have one more sim dump and then some old legacy characters I want to share, plus some BC contestants that didn’t make it. They like to get eliminated in the first rounds.

Also, thanks for the comments on my mental health update post. I’ll see how this turns out and if it doesn’t get any better (I’m kinda hoping that better weather brings better mood, it worked before), I’ll start looking for a therapist or something. No offense to my parents but talking to them about this didn’t help in a slightest. They just don’t get it. And I swear I’m not reverting back to the “I’m an edgy misunderstood teenager” phase. Even though “edgy misunderstood teenager” is an aesthetic I still live for. Whatever that means.

And thanks for the tips on the laptop post. I’ll keep them in mind and I’ll probably ask again when the time comes and I actually buy a new one.

I think I’ll use Photoshop, like I do for everything else, but thanks for giving me an idea for my new background! I used to have my sims or some other characters set as a background, but now that I take my laptop to school I feel a bit uncomfortable with that, so since October I’ve had this kinda boring background and I’ve been meaning to change it into something nicer, I just didn’t know what to put there. Also, Toy Story always unpacks this weird guilt in me haha. Because as a child, naturally I was like “I would NEVER abandon my toys, I’ll keep them forever!”. And now...they’re in boxes...under my bed and in the basement...some of them I gave away or to my younger sister, who then also gave some away because she’s fifteen now. I still have my plushies and teddy bears in my bed though, it would be too empty without them :D

Oh this song was the first song of this bad which I heard! It was also 5-6 years ago.though I do not listen to them often these days.

I think the first song I heard was What Have You Done, which I liked and still like very much, but then I heard this one and went kinda crazy because it just sounded so epic and exactly what my poor slightly depressed fifteen years old soul needed. In one day, I completely switched from pop to metal and it took me a few years to appreciate my old favourite music again. (I know that I say all the time that I’m a Taylor Swift stan, but actually I only really started LOVING her music again last year.)

I’ve always thought that it’s kinda funny that in my Music class, for the first semester I prepared a project about Taylor Swift. In the second semester, that changed, the old pop loving Ronnie was dead, and my new project was about Within Temptation :D But I remember that I was actually upset that day, I chose to show my classmates the video of What About Us and they didn’t appreciate it. And then after me, my other classmate had a project about some singer who had this weird song about getting high. They wanted to replay it. I was so bitter, in my head I was like “this song that I showed you has an interesting meaningful message and you’d rather listen to a song about drugs, how dare you?! You’re absolutely terrible!”

Yeah. I mean, I get it today, but I was so, so bitter.

Ahhhh I’ve basically had Noise on repeat since it came out, I love it so much! And the video is cool too. I can’t wait to hear the whole album. Nightwish never disappoints, I hope I’ll one day get to see them live. I’ve had a few chances but then it never worked out.

Beyond for the character meme!

How I feel about this character:

I love B way more than should be allowed!! Thinking about him realistically he is a horrible and unsettling person and certainly not someone I’d ever want to hang out with irl, but I usually feel nothing but enormous affection for him. I think it’s a combo of: (1) how much he perfectly encapsulates everything I am most afraid of being and most afraid of admitting I am, (2) what a weird outlier he is in this cast of attractive and cool characters, he’s just hilariously bizarre and I can’t believe he actually exists, and (3) what a funny addition he is to the fandom and how versatile his character can be. It’s also kind of an “only 2000s teenagers will understand” thing to remember the immense lameness of Beyond Birthday culture back in its super early days… god it brings back the most vivid memories of that edgy emo/myspace/creepypasta/terrible fanfic millennial adolescent times like nothing else. I have so much dumb nostalgia for him because of that. I’m very glad his character’s portrayal has evolved for the better in the fandom since then, but lol goooood times…

Any/all the people I ship romantically with this character: Mostly L because it just really amuses me and I’ve actually seen it done well a few times before, but also I’m a big sucker for some fluffy/angsty AxB Wammy’s drama! I also like him with Light and think he’d be fun with Mello. I’d probably read B shipped with pretty much anyone, he’s just great to drop into any situation and see what kind of weirdness ensues.

My favorite non-romantic relationship for this character: Ohh most definitely his uncomfortable dynamic with Naomi. It still makes me laugh out loud to see her reacting to his idiocy with such disgust and bewilderment. Very much deserved.

My unpopular opinion about this character: Hmmm… I think just recently I’ve been contemplating my own characterization of B a bit, and I’ve come to the conclusion that I myself and other fans are probably not making him nearly self-absorbed and passive-aggressive and annoying and mopey enough in our portrayals of him. The default fanon B is kind of this aggressive and cocky and confident guy, but he’s actually much more of a sneaky, self-pitying, cowardly Eeyore-like dude most of the time.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon:

I wish that the weird narrative issues and plot holes were fixed in the Another Note novel! It makes it way more of a brainteaser than it probably should be trying to sort out how and why Mello knows the things he does. It’s definitely not intentionally unreliable narration so much as just something that should’ve been fixed by the writer and the editor before it was published, I would say.

Favorite friendship for this character:

I don’t think B had too many friends, but I think it’s kind of cute that Mello sympathized with him from afar.

My crossover ship:

Call it projecting, ‘cause I guess it is, but Túrin has always been half-Asian in my head, in terms of appearance. I don’t know if I do a good enough job of showing it in my art, but Morwen reminds me of my Taiwanese mom and Húrin of my white-passing dad, so my Túrin takes after his mom. He’s stated to have grey eyes, so grey eyes he will have, but I tend to draw them dark enough that they almost look black. Aside from that, he’s tallish with unruly also-almost-black hair and a tendency to wear dark colors, which... might also be projection except for the tall part. It is what it is. 

Anyway, personality-wise... I mean this with all the love in my heart, but Túrin’s a dumb emo. Actually I partially take that back-- he’s a smart emo, smart and charismatic enough to be a natural leader with a good head for battle, but a ridiculous emo nonetheless. 

As stated in the Childhood of Túrin, he was kind of a weird kid, too old for his age and slightly unsettling, with a quick temper and an ability to hold grudges, but he cared deeply for the feelings of those around him and had a strong protective instinct for his little sis Lalaith. He’s also shown to have a leaning towards pity throughout his life, for anyone hurt or sad or at a disadvantage, which is really sweet and kinda makes me want to cry. 

Later on, Túrin is clearly pretty impulsive and can be ruled by anger, like when he smacked Saeros in the nose with a cup (which is valid) and lashed out at Beleg when he tried to give him bread. He felt bad about that second one pretty quickly, but I think it’s mentioned a couple times throughout CoH that people are scared of Túrin because of how quickly his mood can go south. 

On the other hand, despite the fact that he keeps directly and indirectly killing them, Túrin actually does really love his friends. Obvs he loves Beleg, and he loved Sador and probably Nellas too, and during the Nargothrond chapter he tries his best to look after Gwindor and Finduilas and try to figure out what’s making both of them so damned sad all the time. He fails, of course, because he’s too oblivious to notice the romantic tension so thick you’d have to use Gurthang to cut it, but he tries and that’s what counts. 

BELEG

I think it might just be because of fanart, but Beleg as I see him has silver hair. Between Beleg and Mablung, the consensus seems to be that one of them has dark hair and the other silver, so my Beleg is the silver one. I have actually no idea what color his eyes are, though. Hazel? Who knows. He’s taller than Túrin, that’s for sure, with long legs and broad shoulders. I like drawing him with a little white flower pin on his clothes. 

He seems to be a pretty cheerful dude, probably the most cheerful in all of CoH, which is good for him, I guess. He laughs when the outlaws see him and go “oh shit, who is that?” and lets them be in suspense for a second or two before going “haha, sike, it’s me! Beleg! I have food for y’all starving dudes.” Thus, he’s a good foil/companion to Túrin’s depressing nature and his death removes a lot of the scant happiness in Túrin’s life. 

Something I love about Beleg is that he’s very forgiving and just like... a ridiculously nice person for the situation. Beleg doesn’t hold anything against Túrin, doesn’t hold anything against Andróg either (which is pretty impressive,) and immediately decides to give Gwindor lembas and take him along for the ride after finding him under a tree in the forest. 

The big important thing to Beleg’s personality, imo, is that he’s very loyal (to Túrin specifically.) Despite being told it’s a dangerous idea, he goes and looks for Túrin in the wilderness, and even Thingol is well aware he won’t be stopped. It also outright says that where Túrin is concerned, Beleg “yield[s] to his love against his wisdom” to be with him. He’s straight up referred to as the most steadfast of friends, which is really sad because it’s like a sentence after he dies, but there it is-- Beleg is a good friend and a loyal one. 

TÚRIN’S FAMILY

I already mentioned the fact that Túrin’s family reminds me a lot of mine, which definitely influences my perception of them, but anyway: 

Morwen is a fairly angular lady, who has dark dark hair pulled into a chopstick bun behind her head and a pair of raven-feather earrings that gleam in low light. She’s the parent that Túrin got his unsettling edgy aura from, and her Displeased Face is enough to scare any intruder out of her house. She loves her kids and her husband, but she’s stern so sometimes it’s hard to tell. 

Húrin is the neighborhood guy who knows everyone and who everyone knows in return. He’s kind of a square-looking blond guy, like Van Hohenheim from Fullmetal Alchemist except happier and more of a jock. He apparently can play the harp, which is cool, and he probably has lots of stories from being out and about with the elf-host. He loves his kids and his wife and likes to joke around sometimes with Túrin because he’s so straightforward and less inclined to humor. 

Niënor outstripped her parents and her brother in height, and ended up the tallest of the family. She has her dad’s blonde hair, and is slightly more square shaped than her mom or her brother. She’s also half-Asian, but you have to squint. She doesn’t fight like her brother, and is acutely aware of the Túrin-shaped hole in her mother’s life and heart and the matching shadow cast over her own life. However unlike Túrin she is in some ways, she has the same occasional fiery stubbornness and penchant for anguished theatrics, albeit on a smaller scale. 

Lalaith... poor kid. She was charming and cute but didn’t last long. 

MABLUNG

My Mablung has wavy-ish dark hair in a similar style to Beleg’s, and has a slightly less willowy build, for lack of a better way to compare them. He’s got dark eyebrows to better express how utterly unimpressed he is with whatever dumb shit is going down in Doriath, and probably a few not-too-flashy piercings. He’s very dignified in posture and appearance, but not like... pretentious, because he fights people in the woods on a regular basis. 

Out of Túrin’s friends, Mablung is probably the most akin to the Responsible One, with Gwindor at a close second. He’s less willing than Beleg to drop everything for a friend, and requires more evidence to support it, but he’ll still do it after thinking it over and will probably beat himself up about not having gone for it sooner. 

On that point, poor guy takes too much onto his own shoulders and ends up feeling shitty and miserable when he fails at something that he could not have possibly succeeded at. This is demonstrated in terrible, heartwrenching fashion throughout the story, when Mablung asks Thingol to fire him because he lost Morwen and Niënor, to which Thingol says “what no, you’re too good, we need you” and Melian says “don’t feel too bad about it, ok?” (he ignores the last part and continues to feel bad enough about it that he looks for Niënor for Literal Years.) Also on that topic is the scene in which Mablung sees Túrin dead and stands there like some sort of Beleriand Benvolio, realizing that all his friends are dead and that “thus with words have I slain one that I loved.” 

NELLAS

I almost forgot her, can you imagine? You probably can, because she’s a minor character who disappeared like a third of the way through the story, but let’s not talk about that. She’s a forest girl, so I imagine she likes to wear a lot of nice leaves on her head, and/or make a bunch of flower crowns and then drop them in fright if anyone happens to find her in the process. She has dark brown hair and big, curious eyes, and is short and slight even by human standards. 

Nellas has... hardcore dirt lesbian energy. It’s implied that she had a crush on Túrin, but honestly, I doubt that very much. In my head, she and Túrin were just really close pals, and she taught him about how to live in the woods and how to rescue worms from the rain. Her moment of glory, basically, is going into the city once and immediately proceeding to freeze up from anxiety in front of the king. Is that a mood? Yeah and I love her. I hope she’s okay.  

ANDRÓG

I realize he’s another minor character, but he is a very compelling one to me specifically, so. As I imagine him, he’s a fairly lean young dude with a hungry-wolf look about him, which is sort of a mixture of desperation, suspicion, and plain snappishness. He has dark eyes and hair a little darker than what could be called ‘mousy brown,’ tied back in a short ponytail. He also has a frequent scowl and generally is a little bit scary, although he isn’t exactly physically imposing in the ‘tall and buff’ sense. 

There really is no other way to describe Andróg’s personality than ‘he’s a particularly mean tsundere.’ He’s just... full of rage and repressed Feelings for Túrin and possibly also Beleg. Unfortunately, these feelings manifest in Being A Bitch And Generally Not Nice. It takes him so long to admit he can’t actually hate Beleg that he literally just up and dies after doing one (1) nice thing. Why do I like him? It’s anyone’s guess tbh. 

GWINDOR

Ah... yes...... the character who nobody talks about but who I love with my whole heart and soul. To start off with appearance, the only canon things about what he looks like is that he has dark hair and looks older than he would otherwise because torture. Immediately post-imprisonment and during it, I imagine his hair is short, but beforehand and a while after, it gets back to being long. He has a bunch of scars from all that too, and generally has the bearing and amount of grey hairs as a substitute teacher who nobody listens to. I draw him with grey eyes usually, but saw @bisexualturin‘s hc of him having had violet eyes before and I’m kinda in love thanks. 

In terms of who he is as a person, we don’t know much of what he was like before the Nirnaeth, but as I see him, he’s always had a fiery streak and a slightly acerbic sense of humor. Being tormented for 14 years forced him to mellow out some, by which I mean a) how the hell are you supposed to keep your sense of humor after that and b) as shown in his arguments with Túrin over tactics, he’s now extremely wary of head-on battle. 

He’s fundamentally someone who wants the best for the people around him, and who loves both Finduilas and Túrin very much despite feeling hurt and miserable over the fact that his opinion is now worth nothing to those in charge and the sense that he’s not good enough for anyone (much less his two best friends) in his current state. Overall, his dying speech is emblematic of the very Oof Ouch and Complicated feelings he ended up having toward Túrin, namely “you’re a dumbass and probably should have listened to me, but I love you and I am going to try my damndest to give both you and Finduilas as much of a chance at life as I can, even here as I bleed out in your arms.” 

Which brings us to... 

FINDUILAS

Finduilas is sweet like honey chamomile tea and her whole being radiates soft sunlight. In my mind, she’s somewhat round-faced, with really fluffy golden hair, sparkly freckles on tan skin, and a liking for wearing light blue clothes that match her eyes. She smiles a lot and possibly gives off actual light??? Also my heart is full of affection for chubby Finduilas. General consensus is Soft. 

Canon-wise, whether she’s more introverted or extroverted is kind of up to interpretation, as all we’re really given is that she worries about Túrin when he’s out fighting and “wishe[s] not to add one tear to [Gwindor’s] suffering.” I tend to think of her as sunny and gregarious, with way more game than her dad, and with endless reserves of empathy, sympathy, and compassion for the people she loves. 

As a Finwean princess, she absolutely has the capacity for badassery, which makes me very into the idea of Túrin rescuing her post-Nargothrond as per Gwindor’s request and the two of them going on a road trip of doom. But unfortunately, we don’t get to see another side of her in the book. 

I usually just put the book down and cry after the sack of Nargothrond, so I’ll just do one more character: 

ORODRETH

Ok, so Finduilas has to have gotten her Vanyarin hair from her dad, clearly. But since Elves can probably change their appearances based on willpower to some degree, Orodreth’s hair is nowhere near as fluffy, and is a darker honey-blonde than Finduilas’ gold. He’s one of the plainest-looking Finweans by virtue of the fact that he perpetually has this look on his face that makes him seem like he wants to melt into the floor and go back to Aman. Which he kinda does. 

Unfortunately, Orodreth didn’t do much in the story except be a doormat to like five different people and then die, but I still like him for whatever reason. Way early on, before Húrin or his kids were a thing, Orodreth was still himself, aka someone who asked nicely for people to not make bad decisions, and predictably didn’t get listened to. Sure, some of Fëanor’s terrible boys took over his hidden elf city, but what was he going to do? Fight them? No. He’d rather just Not. 

...I feel bad for him. He literally did not ask for Any Of That.

Brief explanation and update on my blog

I decided that I have too many random thoughts, and collectively everything that goes on in my head is a fucking circus, so naturally I came to turn my blog into my shitposting hellhole where you all have to suffer with what I post. So, for starters, the most important update is that I’m going to be talking more about my DID here. A lot of my close friends and loved ones know about it, and I’ve really come to terms with how it is and how I am with it. That and my Alters are cool so it’s not that big of a problem. I don’t like calling them “Personalities” because they’re a bit more complex than that and you’ll see that over time, it also just sounds dumb. Who am I? My name is Jack, I have DID, I like guns, anime, books, card games, random mobile games about waifus, vidya games (400+ steam games, lmfao) and petting people’s pets while I run deliveries. I deliver pizza. It’s a great job. My DID is annoying but the alters I have are cool so I guess it makes up for it.

How does my head work? Well my alters occupy my imagination, and as a result, I can enter what I call my “Mindscape” a place where I can associate with them and talk to them, as well as interact on a weird physical level that’s a lot like a lucid dream. It’s really confusing, and I was scared as hell for the first year of it but after a while I got use to it. We’ve got a big house, and nice forest, and a lake somewhere in that forest. It’s nice. I’ll probably end up describing the house and then posting a map I’ll draw in paint later.

Who are my alters? Well, I’ll tell ya.

Jason: A British-American, but a patriot all around. Jason has a love of firearms, the good ol USA, BBQ’d ribs and a cute girl named Diana. Outwardly he seems like a responsible, keen, and very kind man. Once you get to know him you discover that he’s a hybrid of a conservative and a hippy. The man likes his weed, his booze, and his guns, but that doesn’t make him any less of a helpful friend who’s talked me through a lot of shit. Jason has short, parted brunet hair that Diana keeps well trimmed, a strong, square face, and sharp grey-blue eyes. The man could stare through your soul, and usually wears military style clothing, he’s use to it and it’s comfy to him. Absolutely head over heels for Diana.

Diana:  A plucky, cute and thoughtful girl, Diana is basically the mom-friend of the group. She takes care of everyone, loves everyone, and tries her best. She likes books, anime and gardening. She’s also a bit of a pyromaniac, earning the title “Fire Demon” from Stevey, from the numerous times she’s set him ablaze for pissing her off. Which he deserved. Diana is a helpful girl, she’s talked me though a lot, and has helped many others. If you ask anyone, they’ll say she’s a pure, kind soul who loves to offer advice and has helped them in some way or another. Diana has brunette shoulder length hair, soft blue eyes that make your heart melt, a cute button nose and blue glasses. She’s typically in some color of blue because its her favourite, and she likes to wear comfy clothes that are still fashionable. If there’s one thing she loves above all else, it’s Jason. The two are inseparable.

Stevey: The only man to ever piss Diana off that she used violence against him. Stevey is... well... Stupid, absolutely fucking retarded really. Despite this, he’s incredibly smart and agile, he does dumb shit “for the lolz” and has gotten himself in trouble with me more times than I can count. He likes pranks, and sometimes takes them too far. He never learns through words, which is why I beat him like a redheaded step child. But despite this, he’s hilarious, absolutely horrible, and I love him. A short, blonde haired man with blue eyes full of mischief and a dark sense of wonder. The man only wears white shirts, blue jeans and black sneakers, anything else is some sort of elaborate prank.

Rick: A Russian genius in the scientific fields, mostly biology and chemistry. At first, he may seem like a cold, calculating genius who has all but lost his compassion, but the truth is that he’s forgetful and has resting bitchface. Rick is a teddy bear of a man, who likes hugs, hot cocoa, good books, cooking, tea and snacks. His favourite thing to do is collaborate with Asher on some grand elaborate idea that would likely not work in the real world, but is still challenging and fun to build, he likes to test his knowledge and skills. Rick has light orange hair, green eyes and big square head. Sarah lovingly calls him “The Big Russian Blockhead.” he likes wearing slacks, tight shirts, and loafers.

Jiro: A Japanese fellow who’s trained in martial arts, and the art of the shinobi. At first he seems cold, distant and rude. But he’s just got social anxiety, Jiro is a nice guy, friendly and always open to talk about anything and nothing at the same time. He likes to spar, throw knives, and practice his skills. Outside of that he’s a big fan of baseball, old books and card games, as well as D&D. He’s a massive nerd. Jiro has trimmed black hair, and grey eyes. He likes wearing black like an edgy emo kid. He spends a lot of time with Stevey, sometimes sparring, other times just playing around with a baseball or lazing around in the sun. Asher: TEXAS INCARNATE. Asher loves the old west, the pioneering spirit, and engineering. His mind was engineered to be an engineer, everything from mechanical to electrical, it fascinates him and he’s taken it upon himself to do everything in his power to learn it and work with it. Outside of that he’s a big fan of playing poker, drinking with friends, and hockey. Asher spends a lot of time in his workshop, but when he’s out and about he loves to talk and get along with people, he also likes to tell stories and embellish them a little bit. He and Rick go together like popcorn and cheese, its a weird combination when you first think about it, but once you see it in action you realize how horrifying the potential is. He has short blond hair that’s usually tucked under a cowboy hat or ball-cap. He’s got shiny blue eyes and likes to wear welding masks. He also likes to wear jeans, button up shirts, and cowboy boots. He’s handy, dandy, and all around a great person to hang out with.

Sarah: Sarah is a laid back, tomboy kind of girl. Sarah can be a bit hotheaded, but otherwise she’s chill. Sarah likes sports, mostly playing them, she also likes to play with explosives, and she’s good at it too. She’s also come to enjoy some vidya, mostly FPS games. Sarah has a firm and respect and love for me, the first time we met, we drew guns on eachother and neither one of us let up until Diana came in the room and said “Oh hey look it’s my sister.” At which point Sarah came to discover, and continued to delight in the fact that I treated her like everyone else. Bunny & Birb’s Spiciness Ranking : League of Legends Men

We play a shameful amount of League of Legends, and after this you’ll get the idea that it’s for all the wrong reasons.

For this week’s collab post, we decided to make a combined ranking of League of Legends male champions based on their level of spiciness.

We each made an individual list with rationale, and then ranks were averaged out to generate the final list. We also tried to rationalized our picks somewhat, and choose the most attractive skin for each.

The scale ranges from 1 (the most attractive) to 26 (least attractive). Then the average is obviously the average rank based on our individual ranks.

1. Talon - Average rank: 2.5 bunny: 4

Maybe it’s cus we can’t see his whole face that I think he’s attractive? I also just love assassins. SSW is the most attractive. He looks the most normal. Gives off an Altair from Assassin’s Creed vibe.

So I thought this guy would have potential, but wasn’t totally sure. His SSW skin is what removes all doubt and carries this dude all the way to the top. Black-haired rogue dudes get a thumbs up from me. (I also ship him with ma girl Quinn, and she deserves only the best.)

2. Ezreal - Average rank: 3 bunny: 2

I mean, he’s the most pretty boy of any of them. Has those nice Aryan features. Ace of Spades Ezreal has the cockiness that makes him worth it.

A generic anime bishounen type. I don’t know, I guess he just looks a little young for me? I’m also not recruiting for Hitler Youth. He definitely is one of the more objectively cute ones, though, so I can’t deny him that. Best skin is Ace of Spades, bonus points because he’s not blonde in that one.

3. Kayne - Average rank: 4 bunny: 5

Gotta love this edgelord and all his emo hotness. It’s like my high school dream. He only has one skin but it’s damn attractive.

While he runs away with the title of Edgiest League character, it cannot be denied that he (particularly dat skin) is attractive. Probably because he looks less like Sasuke in the skin.

Vladimir bunny: 1

Academy Vlad appeals to all my shitty anime fantasies and I love him. He’s got condescending down cold. I’d call him senpai.

The whole vampire image was never really my type, and Vlad’s not an exception. Count Vlad is probably the most attractive one to me (once again, the black hair bias)

Ekko  bunny: 6

Ekko has that devious type of appeal. Like the type that would totally get in trouble but you dig it. Sandstorm is probably the most attractive, mostly cus his others just look bad.

Ekko has a decent voice on him (even if he doesn’t stfu when you play him) and I’d say he’s pretty cute. He would have success at a co-ed mixer. His (Darude) Sandstorm skin is far, far superior to his regular one.

Zed bunny: 9

I mean we can’t see his face, so like he could be really hot. It’s a 50/50 chance. Shockblade is the most attractive since it proves he has real skin.

This pick is based entirely on faith that someone this edgy must appear equally edgy (and attractive). Also his movements have POWER and GRACE thus he must have a nice FACE. Championship Zed is shiny as fuck so it’s obviously most attractive skin.

5. Twisted Fate - Average rank: 7 bunny: 3

I think I find him attractive mostly because of his voice, though he’s pretty cool too. I wanna say Pax is my favorite just cus it’s rare af.

I like his drawl, the facial hair knocks off some points. Most attractive skin is Cutpurse, since it gets rid of his beard.

I’m using his obsession with roses as the reason that he’s a little more attractive than some of the other guys. Also…. ITS HIIIIIIIIGHHHH NOOOOOOONNNNN

Despite the obvious V for Vendetta vibes, I do weirdly like Jhin’s voice. And his /joke is kinda cute so I’m taking that into account. He also has Very Good posture! He only has one skin aside from his normal one, but I do like that better.

Varus bunny: 10

I guess purple eyes are pretty cool and he does have an 8-pack going on, though I’m not sure what the front of his hair is doing. Heartseeker Varus got me falling in love.

His eyes are a little creepy but if you look past that he’s probably a nice guy. Gimme some of that Varus Swiftbolt action, though. I would probably romance him in a Dragon Age game.

7. Lucian - Average rank: 9.5 bunny: 7

His eyebrows are very nicely groomed and he has no weird facial hair. Striker Lucian is the most attractive just because I love soccer players.

I feel a little weird trying to figure out how spicy a guy raging around about his dead wife is, but whatever. He has some nice cheekbones. Hired Gun is probably my favorite skin, because I like his hair in that one.

Yasuo bunny: 16

Uh, Yasuo really knows how to use a sword *wink wink*. Plus he has some very nice, flowy hair. I would like to date him to steal his shampoo. Project Yasuo looks pretty cool and you can’t see his face so it’s better.

Separating him from the people that play him, appearance-wise he’s alright. As long as he doesn’t windwall, I could stand to look at him for extended periods of time. I might be projecting my Rurouni Kenshin feels onto him, though. I’d maybe pick Blood Moon, for no real reason.

Jayce bunny: 14

If you’re really into dads, then I guess Jayce would be for you. But like, that’s not my thing and I will kink shame you for it. Debonair his the skin where he looks the most suave (but still very dad)

birb: 9

He really does just look like my friend’s dad or something. He’s just an average looking dude, which is somehow better than the majority of the people on this list. Debonair skins will always be attractive skins.

9. Darius - Average rank: 12.5 bunny: 8

I’m only putting Darius 8th for Academy Darius. He might look like the school bully, but he still looks pretty attractive in that skin. Normal Darius, not so much.

The only viable Darius skin is Academy, and he still just looks like that guy who beats people up just for an ego trip.

10. Garen - Average rank: 13.5 bunny: 13

His head is weird shape so he’s not higher but Garen does have a nice face. Rugged Garen is the most attractive because his head isn’t so tiny in that one (unlike Dreadknight)

So Garen might be a bit of a pimplehead, but I look at something like Rugged Garen and say okay, I can fux with this.

11. Pantheon - Average rank: 15.5 bunny: 18

He’s less hairy than everyone below this. We also can’t see his face so no negative points there. Mediocre at best. Baker Pantheon is the most attractive cus there’s food involved.

I’m basing this purely off the fact that he wants to be a baker, and that’s kind of adorable. Favorite skin is obvious.

Draven bunny: 11

His confidence is attractive I guess? Gotta love a guy who knows he’s great? Also have you seen those legs in Pool Party????

He has the crazy eyes, which are very deterring. Favorite skin is Soul Reaver, because his face is less of a face.

Graves bunny: 15

Graves looks more normal than some of the other dudes but he has so much chest hair. Ew chest hair. Also I don’t like smokers. I guess he looks the best in Mafia Graves, the red really brings out the flames.

A regular lookin’ shmuck. I guess he’s manry and all that, but why that facial hair. Mafia Graves is best, because it’s hard not to look good in an outfit like that.

Xin Zhao bunny: 20

I have less of an opinion about him than I do Jarvan, which is really saying something, so he gets stuck here at the bottom. His face is boring and he’s boring. In Warring Kingdoms he has a slightly edgy thing going so he’s not all bad

Forgettable as hell, but not exactly ugly. I hate his ponytail, though. Most attractive skin is either Dragonslayer or Winged Hussar, more for the armor than because he looks good.

Jarvan IV bunny: 19

Uh he has a face. So I guess that’s nice. I literally have like no opinion on him. I guess Warring Kingdoms is the most attractive cus it has a nice stoic vibe.

I feel like without his ridiculous armor he would look okay. Sort of like the all-American soldier type vibe? Darkforge is his best skin because his armor actually looks pretty cool.

14. Lee Sin - Average rank: 18 bunny: 17

Lee Sin can’t see so his other sense are probably heightened. Every girl wants a guy that’ll listen to her for once. Traditional Lee Sin is the most attractive because he actually has hair.

Does the blindfold add appeal? Maybe. Traditional Lee Sin is his best look because he has hair.

It’s hard to be attracted to someone else’s man. I also don’t think I could make him swing my way. Armor of the Fifth Age has the best smirk going on, so it’s definitely my favorite.

Off limits, can’t compete with Ezreal. He definitely looks like Fabio, though, and he’s popular on romance novels. My pick is Pool Party Taric, because it looks like he’s starring in Baywatch.

Gangplank bunny: 21

He’s a pirate so maybe he would get some booty, but not this booty. Too much beard and too rugged. Probably has scurvy. At least in Special Forces he looks a little bit younger and more tame.

The edgy makeover definitely gave him some positive points as compared to his old goofy pirate character. Still, he looks kinda old. Captain Gangplank is my fave because it looks like he’ll kill me if I say otherwise.

Tryndamere bunny: 24

He’s a little up from the very bottom because at least his hair is on his head and not his face. But his muscles are also scary. I like Viking Trynd just because he’s surrounded by money and I’m attracted to money.

A straight-up ragemonster. I’d classify this guy as more of a beast than a man. He’s most attractive as King Tryndamere, because I can actually look at him like a human bean.

Udyr bunny: 23

I’m not really that into hobos. Udyr is like that guy who spent too much time in the forest and now thinks he’s magic. Definitely Not Udyr is the most attractive cus it’s the closest to not Udyr.

I feel like I wouldn’t be surprised seeing Udyr walking out of a dumpster. Best skin is Spirit Guard because he actually looks respectable (and because that skin costs a lot of money.)

There’s just so much hair!!!! And his muscles are bulging in a weird way. Brolaf maybe is the most attractive? It has the least amount of hair and alcohol.

Olaf is like a hairier version of Tryndamere, except he doesn’t even have a single respectable skin. His one arm muscle is like bigger than my whole body. Butcher Olaf is the most attractive, because I like meat.

Uh yeah. He’s just not good looking. He has so much hair and his nose is so red. God I don’t know. Oktoberfest is the most attractive, if I have to pick?

Alcoholic and literally a circle with limbs. Judging by his VO, he wouldn’t even pay for drinks if you went out with him. Best skin is Scuba, because it’s the one where his face is the most covered and also there’s a possibility that he will drown.
