Hugo: I'm a little concerned to freelance. Can I get a sign off from Karolina and Roman?
Kendall: No, pal. No. Down-low. Just get on it. Unless… You want me to pull out the strap-on?

I think Lance should get like the meanest, most evil Earth cat in existence (think Becky Apples from Centaurworld) and also the biggest rose tinted glasses ever because he genuinely believes that Mr Cutie Paws has never done and would never do anything wrong and i think said cat should tolerate him and ONLY him and I think the only other person making an effort to bond with said cat is Shiro who recognizes the bloodlust in its eyes but damn it! Every kitty deserves a chance!

i think an incredibly funny part of the aiichi dynamic is that at least one of them has to be traumatized and/or possess incredible worldly exhaustion in order to even consider the other as a romantic love interest
like they need to go through decades and time loops of war and hopelessness and death and destruction in order to be like huh maybe this guy isn't so bad
of course this doesnt go for every fic (academy blues my beloved) but. a lot of them do and it's SO funny

My Immediate Reaction to Sven Crying in the Latest @capturecharlesau Update:
Sven really thought he could pull the "I'm telling my parents" card at the end there; I can't wait for RHM and Reginald to come in and kick his butt for being a brat.
L + Ratio + No Rizz + No Maidens/Gentlemen
Here's a link to the comic update in question:

Michael babysitting Jack and Marie?
“You are aware,” Michael says as he corrects Marie’s grip on the blade he gave her, “that these are dangerous weapons, not fictional, not toys.”
Marie looks up at him, the little braid, twin to the one she’d been putting in Jack’s hair when Michael arrived, that dangles at the side of her face curling and smacking against her cheek with the movement, before she says, “Yeah, but isn’t the world scary enough when we aren’t pretending?”
When they spar, Jack makes swishing noises for each swing of his blade and Marie calls him “Padawan” and they both call Michael “Master” when they’re bobbing on their heels waiting for new instruction, but Michael sees beneath that the careful way they move, like they were soldiers first and children playing second, and it makes his heart ache for how familiar that feels.

Okay it's been a few hours since I finished 2010 TYWMC and I have not stopped thinking about the scene where Dr. Chandra is talking to HAL about full-throttling back towards earth and the lead up to that as well,,,,In fact I think I'm thinking about how everyone else treats HAL vs how Dr. Chandra treats HAL, and it makes sense, to the others HAL is a potentially dangerous system, he's killed before and they're afraid he'll kill again, but Dr. Chandra, he's the only one that treats HAL with so much kindness and understanding, and it makes sense he programmed him after all! But the way that understanding and respect is the thing that saved them,,,,like they convince Dr. Chandra to lie to HAL despite Dr Chandra contesting to it and he couldn't keep it up, he's the only one that has the basic decency not to lie to HAL and they were so ready to shut him off (At least they still think they have the capability to do that) because of that, they were so convinced that telling him the truth would cause him to refuse, and HAL understands. he understands why they're doing what they're doing. And I don't think that would've happened if they lied to HAL. Gwahhhhh sorry this is really unfiltered rambling rn I just really really love how this movie handles HAL, because in the first movie it is not clear why HAL is why he is unless you've read the books and 2010 works so well with it, man, I can't wait to read the book for 2010 man

IT PAINS me that Van Eck made Wylan BELIEVED all the hate and mockery and disregard he received from his father were okay, something people would do because of who he is
"I treat you no more harshly than the world will."
but then he meet the dregs, the crows and NO ONE treat him harshly because he can't read, joke's on you Van Eck
And it REALLY pains me that Wylan has a logical brain so how would he not believe that the logic voice of his father IT WASN'T RIGHT?
but it was his logic that haunted Wylan—that
practical, irrefutable voice that spoke in Wylan’s head whenever he thought
about attempting something new, or trying to learn to read again.
He only knew the biased logic of his father and based on that the world was constructed
And so the first thought Wylan has when he discovers that his father locked his mother in an asylum is THAT WAS HIS FAULT AAAAAAAAAGH I hate Van Eck
“You don’t understand. It was me. I caused this. He
wanted a new wife. He wanted an heir. A real heir, not a moron who can barely
spell his own name."
But Wylan HAS a logical brain, so when Jesper points out that parents aren't supposed to be like Van Eck and gives him and Mr. Fahey as an example Wylan CAN SEE THE TRUE 😭😭 also he had already talked with the crew about his condition and no one treated him badly because of it, he has other point of view about that, other's than his father's so he can beat what his father made him believe and I'm crying now
Anyways, hurts me when people are led to believe the bad things other people do to them are justified

afo wouldnt suffer most of the headaches he does had he bought japan 🙄 dumb 200 years evil businessman who gestures like hes enthusiastically presenting a pwp slide of his company's stocks growth
I had no idea what you were saying for a second because apparently, I'm dyslexic for a second there. Please put periods for easier and quicker responses.
Also awesome! I'm glad you enjoying the 200-year-old businessman being an asshole~!
Because honestly if didn't have a quirk then he likely be a great asshole businessman. Heck, I write him in one verse being one in charge of a maid cafe. With shady dealings and he definitely isn't suffering. Sometimes I just like to see an asshole succeed only in fiction because it is fascinating especially if tries to make it benefit family.
I don't know where you got the idea he was suffering- Oh is it because I treat him sympathetically? I mean he did lose his brother and if IS dad for one ended up losing his family in canon. He lacks the ability to connect fully and clings to family. Though that part of the tragic-comedy of never giving up his villainy it meant to be tragic.
I get to basically write him as sympathetic as I want, then just casually abuse him and everyone ok with it! That's the beauty of him it why you can say this and I'm like yea.
Thanks for this Ask! I appreciate it!

extra thoughts but sawashiro hurts my heart so like. yeah we know his character is like sad and tragic but like. REALLY think about it and like let it set in i swear he makes me want to rip my hair out he was just a boy... wish him happiness w like. a Labrador or smthn i dont know dog breeds
i can't really. call sawashiro 100% innocent; the abuse he went through during his adolescence is definitely sad and undoubtedly contributes to his behavior now, but uhhh he still put a newborn baby in a locker LMAO?
sawashiro's agony is purely a product of his own actions. at the very least he's trying to rectify the damage he did, and that's definitely better than him not having any remorse at all
