Im a psychology student and i think everyone in this world has some symptoms if not full blown disorders. I also struggle with GAD and I have worked in 2 psychiatric hospitals so far in one I got a lot of readings+ 2 months , 8hrs on weekdays hospital shifts in 4 sectors. I don't mean to offend anyone but if you have a certain disorder it does determine a lot of your personality traits and therefore make you incompatible with certain types of people. this is just a " oh I think the batboys could take care or be compatible with someone with this disorder enough to not hamper their healing "

Anyways..(im so scared to post this)

Dick grayson- mood disorders (major depressive diroder. bipolar disorder, seasonal depression, burnout)

Dick is this silent mother hen sort of figure. he loves taking care of others, it fills him with altruistic feelings and helps him feel needed. Someone with a mood disorder needs someone they can go and be sad with without feeling judged. Dick understands that burnt out feeling really well. He understands how sometimes you just want to let your feelings go through you. He is warm sunshine personified, joyful calm and reliable. He likes taking care of you, the small quiet moments. He will find small personal ways to make your mood a little more bearable however he can without overwhelming you.

"he comes back from his crime fighting to find you in bed. he recognizes your mood instantly. slowly approaching you and gently kissing you awake .

"hey baby ", "youre back dickie" "mhm how long have you been in bed?" " I don't know" "I'm starting a bath, would you like to join me" "I don't really feel like moving" "ill carry you" ."

Jason todd- anxiety disorders ( generalized anxiety disorder(gad), phobia, panic attacks, separation anxiety disorder(sad))

gad- the fact that jason literally fights crime every night and is super impulsive/doesnt care about his safety, so seeing you almost ripping your head off from worry for him not only warms his heart ( he thinks you hate him and struggles to believe that YOU could give someone like him any attention but here you are) but also makes him take better care of himself for your sake. he hates seeing you worried but he loves calming you down. holding your hands tight, replecating meditation style breathing and mindfulness practices. kissing you overthinking head. hugging you when you stress cry, giving you massages.

Phobia- he understands triggers better than anyone else, he will be your big bad protector making sure to help you avoid the item that's causing you phobia. holding your hand and hiding you behind him if you have social anxiety, making sure to avoid triggering environments if you have agoraphobia, killing all snakes in the world if you have a phobia of them( he seriously suggests it but you stop him cuz it'll hurt the ecosystem)

Panic attacks- he has them too, either you have learned a way to deal with them and teach him or he has learned a way to deal with them and helps you . if he hasn't before meeting you, he has a new much stronger motivation to learn techniques or medication that can help deal with them for your sake and therefore also accelerate his healing

seperation anxiety-.. he has it too so like.( ik its more common in kids but adult sad is also a thing) both of you are clingy, its a win win for you two , fuck the rest of the world

again this is just my opinion okay? don't make mental health a taboo , if this post was about batboys x blind! y/n no one would have an issue. mental health is a condition and sometimes its out of our control, it depends on so many factors. Its nothing to be ashamed or scared of.

Maybe all of them with a Wally Darling-like Reader? An example of such being Reader also speaking in a monotone voice that is both a little unsettling yet friendly at the same time, always making eye contact and never looking away, being able to eat things by blinking, being a lot more aware than they seem, greeting people individually anytime they enter a room, etc etc.

I must admit, I think zooble would find you creepy, too <\3, or at least a little unsettling.. like sure they wont be mean to you unlike SOMEONE but they're a little put off by your odd behaviors

Though they would get accustomed to it in time, I think, especially since I have a whole "zooble ultimately doesnt care much about what's going as a means to cope w/ the digital circus as well as that just being their personality"

Does not like the eye contact, though; zooble seems like the type who wouldnt like eye contact... maybe I'm self projecting, though...

The eye contact definitely is what fed into the unsettling factor for them..

The eye contact makes her so so nervous, she doesnt really have eyes the same way everyone else does but it still... makes her feel off

Similar to Caine she does feel nice when you greet her.. yes she knows out do it for everyone, but that doesnt dismiss the nice feeling she gets that someone is. Well being nice to her...

whenever i see robots wearing clothes i have to ask: what kind of world does he live in? is this a futuristic robot / human harmony type of situation? is it all robots? a parallel dimension? etc

can ret eat or sleep + how? can ret dream ? what does he dream about, if at all?

answering the third question first bc i wanted to show y'all Ret's full outfit, he likes jus stayin shirtless to avoid overheating, plus in the house he lives in, everyone's a robot so no one bats an eye.

Ret's world is actually within the same world as my object head ocs! same time frame as well, its just that Ret's continent is filled with humans and my object head guys live on another continent, p far away. in-universe, Ret's time frame isnt really that far from us! i'd say around 2046, technology has advanced significantly but not to the 'robots and humans live in harmony' level, but are still very intelligent to operate on their own.

Ret does have a job! hes one of those 'amazing ai makes creative project' robots, think miku if miku wrote her own songs and made her own dance choreography, drew her own posters- etc! Ret, to executives, is a self-sustaining machine that doesnt need a team, which lets him have a lot of creative control over his music videos and add his own 'X-factor' to them thats very eye catching to audiences [its the autism. the autism is the x factor]

if you asked HIM, he would say that he likes having a job, smth to do, a set purpose, but he does wish he could try smth different every once in a while nd it shows in his projects. oddly enough, he communicates his feelings really well in his videos but as soon as he has to verbalize them he tends to lie to appease whoever is asking.

originally, he was a gimmick bot, his gimmick was 'put your data into this machine, and it will write a song about your deepest desires!', just a song-writer ai, what he did as a prototype was as rudementary as psychic hot-reading [or cold-reading if the date input was insufficient], he grew to learn how to read peoples data better with time, and became a 'viral moment' so to speak.

at the present in my story, Ret still has his job but he won't have it for much longer :)

Ret does not know who his creator is because by the time he was sentient, he was a part of a huge media company that housed a lot of these sorts of robots. [hype-house sorta deal, I designed 1 of the other robos... i need to show y'all the others!]

[his creator was a young male developer who was better at coding than he is at song writing, so he thought starting a project like Ret, originally named Rhett before his launch, would be a fun challenge]

Ret cannot dream, but he can 'sleep', he likes to charge via a mobile charging station if an outlet is not readily available and convenient, and during charging his body becomes inactive, but his mind is partially awake. [he can still hear everything around him. he chooses to keep that tidbit of info to himself]

I was gonna put this headcanon in a fic but i probably will never write it so instead im gonna share with all of you. Do with this idea as you wish

The fact that Pixal just up and built herself a new body in season 7 suggests she could have done it at any time, but chose not to. And i refuse to believe Zane and Borg didnt at least offer to give her a body - Zane admitted he preferred having her physical, im sure he at least suggested rebuilding her at one point. As he said in season 8, "The choice has always been yours, Pixal." Which leads me to believe she was the determining factor in her own reconstruction. She chose to stay in Zane's head, and Id like to think her reasons for doing so are similar to her reasons for hiding her identity as Samurai X: self-imposed guilt.

Let me explain.

Think of it like this. Pixal was built to assist, right? Even from the beginning of their relationship, she has been put in several positions of saving, protecting, and looking after Zane. Their first bonding moments involved her repairing him and later rescuing him from a junkyard metal shredder. Just as Zane has an integral need to protect built into the core of his existence, so too does Pixal have an integral need to assist.

When Zane gave her half his heart, he seriously disadvantaged himself in combat. Not only that, but it was his heart being unable to withstand the Golden Power that killed him in the end. Im sure there was at least some small part of Pixal that blamed herself for this. Not just because she might see this as a failure to uphold her reason for existence (helping people) - but also bc maybe if he'd had his whole heart during that fight, maybe if she'd just given it back to him, he might have had a fighting chance. It would have only marginally improved his chances of survival, but that small .003% probability increase is enough to make her blame herself. A probability that small is statistically irrelevant, but she cant help using it as an excuse to blame herself - or perhaps, to give her a rationalization for her survivor's guilt. Because the heart inside her, powering her, is the same heart Zane could have used to defend himself against the Golden Power, and the feeling of it inside her is unbearable.

Then Zane comes back, and she gets scrapped. And Zane forgets everything, and his mind is in shambles, and she has to help him piece himself back together again.

She blames herself for this, blames herself for his death and for the scrambled state of his memories that came as a consequence. So she figures, she caused this, so its her responsibility to help him fix his broken mind. Its her responsibility to assist.

So she stays in his head, where she can hold his memories together and keep his mind from falling apart. She insists she prefers it this way, likes being close to him, but deep down she longs for her physical freedom and hates herself for wanting more than she deserves.

Then Borg is kidnapped. And Zane is nonresponsive. And she has a choice. So she chooses to rebuild herself and leave Zane behind.

And...she feels good. Free. She's...happy about it.

But shes also deeply ashamed. Thinks she doesnt deserve to enjoy the experience of leaving Zane's head. He needs her, she's less useful to him outside his headset...and yet here she is, being Samurai X, having the absolute time of her life. She loves it, and she hates herself for loving it so much.

So out of shame, she tells no one. Shes worried theyll be just as disappointed in her as she is in herself.

And Zane...well, maybe theres a reason the Ninjigma didnt become a problem until after Pixal left his headset. Maybe she was the only thing holding him together, and the moment she left, all his memories started spiraling out of control. Maybe the events of Decoded turned out to be for the best, and allowed Zane to sort through and finish repairing his memories on his own, without relying on Pixal for help.

When Pixal reunites with Zane, shes worried he'll be upset. "Was i more...useful...inside the computer?" But to her surprise and delight, he prefers her in whatever form makes her happiest, not whatever form makes her most useful.

And Pixal, backed by the support of Zane and their friends, flourishes in her new role as Samurai X - not just in an assistive capacity, but exploring and embracing her interests in engineering and tinkering. Things are good, for a while.

But then Zane ends up in the Never Realm. And he comes home, and she learns what happened. She hears what Vex did, how she sabotaged his memories and twisted his own sense of self against him.

Once more, she blames herself. Begins to believe that maybe if she had still been in his headset, she could have prevented all that suffering.

hey mods, whats the ship that you most hate or dislike? caroom, hemeruni, what ships?

I am stuck between two choices, the first is rather obvious. Carroom is a ship that is abuser x abuser and the entirety of kisswas "I loved him too" reveal came from the depths of Tartarus as it was new showed nor even implied once, in fact quite the opposite was implied before so It is completely an enigma where this ship came from and even more a mystery why KC though they would be a good pair. The second choice though is a bit more, controversial and much less obvious though. That being Barruni, allow me to explain. Uni has shown on multiple occasions that she does not respect Barry's boundaries about magic and even actively seems to intentionally use magic in front of him on occasions despite knowing that he dislikes her use of it, Uni has gotten away with far too much for me to believe that Barry would still actively engage in a proper relationship with her after all of this. I also fear that after all of this, KC wont even know how to do Barruni that well without horribly mischaracterizing them on both ends in a way that leaves all of their previous personality traits behind and just makes them previous husks of their former self. personally, i don't have one ship i hate. it's a whole genre of ships - anything with side characters in it. on the wayback machine, on the faq for the site, we're told some of the official ships are kills x shortnick, jean x orange, and caroline x kiki. but (obviously except for caroline), what do we know about these characters in order to ship them? we know maybe a sentence or two worth's of information about them! that's not enough!!! even with the more popular small ships that are also canon: mood x rem, pinata x funfetti, mel x cyn, jay x caroline... we get scraps of interaction and ship moments in the comic, if anything at all (seriously, jay x caroline? where is that coming from? they're two major characters but there's still nothing!) i wish characters were elaborated on more before they're shipped, which is also why i don't understand any ships with the chunklings. they've been here a while but we don't know anything about them. and yes, before anyone asks, this does apply to polly as well. they're a major comet parent, and yet... there's nothing actually there. -mod polly 🧊

Lucifer finds himself fascinating, plain and simple, fascinating.

Let's say he knows through the organization (which probably brought you with not very clean tactics to see if you could serve as a cure for his illness).

and you couldn't help but stay when you saw the suffering he was going through being so dying. Your empathy played an important part in this.

That was a big surprise.

but when you showed your total Angelic nature (although mixed race) it was an absolute SHOCK.

He asks a lot of questions at first when you take care of him.

Is there a heaven? If so, do only the "worthy" really enter or could anyone do it? Which of your parents is an angel? Or an archangel? Is there really a god?

He has no idea how the halo works, but assumes it is the Angelic equivalent of the demonic tail.

All of this in the most polite way possible, and he settles for whatever answer you give him, even if you don't even know the answer.

That was your relationship at the beginning, you were interested out of sympathy and he was interested out of pure fascination and the possibility of a cure.

but it wasn't that easy. Unfortunately, although you could alleviate some of the symptoms of his illness, you could not cure him. He wasn't disappointed at all, he was used to it.

but he was surprised to see that you were disappointed that you couldn't help him.

Rather, he was surprised at how well-intentioned you are (probably your angelic nature speaks for that mainly? Could it be!)

This led to both of you starting to see each other in a less formal way and in a more friendly light, I mean, he somehow always saw you as someone friendly, but now that you saw him in the same way and you let go more, it was like, a new level of brightness.

You're still his primary "caretaker," but now, in more advanced relationship terms, it's another way of saying "you're the only person allowed to touch him without having to ask permission."

He is still polite and goddam stoic, but everyone can see that he has a softer and more sincere tone when it comes to you. In general, their way of acting also changes in a subtle but significant way when you are present.

Shima jokingly says it's because of your "angelic presence" but that really has nothing to do with it. I mean, yes, he really likes your angelic mitsd, your wings are damn soft and your presence is naturally relaxing, but it's ALL of you that makes him like this.

He also begins to implement extra protocols regarding your care and protection. Although he knows that angels do not die easily (not to say that they do not die in the literal sense), it is the human part of you that worries him immensely and makes him question your mortality.

Because your presence alleviates the symptoms of his illness, rest assured that he will be clinging to you like a koala, yup, even in public, he is not afraid to show how much he loves you, he is very confident in his abilities to protect you and he does not see you in the least as a "weak point".

If anything you only make it stronger.

If the True Cross tries to capture you for your angelic properties, that will only be another factor for him to start the war. Apart from the fact that you could forget to go outside the Illuminati base, you will not risk that your outings end up turning you into a guinea pig.

At least try to compensate for it by pampering yourself, whether with physical affection, books, very VERY controlled outings outside (with you), even putting artificial gardens inside the base especially for you.

He doesn't like it when you look down after all.

Both of you can debate the inconsistencies of the Bible to pass the time (similar to what I said in a previous point), so you agree on two (or rather three) things that you like, solving doubts, reading, and you :3

many 👏gifts👏 is something that is even ridiculous, but he is very observant and although it may not seem like it, he is good at listening (at least to you) so he constantly gives you things that he thinks you might like, be it clothes, accessories, books, paintings , anything.

He honestly sees you in a light of "she's literally an angel, she can't do anything wrong" and that can be a double-edged sword if you end up being chaotic. He would be telling his collegues with his serious face how cute you are while flying over a burning surface laughing (in his defense, you look cute when you're happy).

If the True Cross people hurt you (whether by accident or on purpose) it will be a Blue Night 2.0 honestly, don't let that happen, seriously.

If he feels well enough to do so, he would love to fly with you, in general he already thinks you look like a real angel, but flying... it's absolutely divine.

I don't think he'll be very interested in meeting your family unless it's the Angelic family, but hey, at least if you ask him, he'll make sure your human family is always safe.

In general his biggest focus is on keeping YOU safe (his literal "guardian" angel so to speak, although I can definitely see him non-ironically calling you Angel as a pet name).

He's definitely not letting you get to know Mephisto/Samael, other than because of their differences in ideas and what they want to do with the world, he KNOWS that Mephisto would try something shady and has no interest in fighting his brother (much less risking You, so nop).

Can you imagine that when he goes to declare war with True Cross, you go with him, with your wings spread, helping him stand up due to his illness? he doesn't get outwardly super scared, but he DOES shiver or make discontented noises when he's scared. playing horror games with him is kinda funny. if you make him play a vr horror game he will hate you forever and ever. it's rly funny tho.

he tries way too hard. with everything. pre-incident? being a role model, being cool, being a trainer, being a champion for like one month, being stereotypically romantic, etc. post-incident? being scary, being intimidating, etc.

despite this he is still very dorky and awkward. at least pre-incident. it was common. type of guy to lean on a wall but he falls

he wears light cologne. i'd say he wears axe 3-in-1 but that'd be way too rude to both me and other stevenlikers.

really wanted a guitar. he's a dork so he does air guitar sometimes when no ones looking or does guitar motions while holding a long thing that isn't a guitar. He would play guitar hero and be absolutely mid at it but blue and red think he's the coolest fucking thing ever for it. This is inspired by somebody elses hc i think(????). if u read this. ur a real one and r so true.

because of this if you actually got him a guitar i think he'd make a small genuine smile. he has executive dysfunction and depression so itd probably take a while for him to actually do anything with it, but he rlly appreciates the gesture.

also kinda has a good singing voice but is better at backing vocals.

he organizes things a bit too much, which stopped during his spiral phase, but for example his pc boxes are like. a living dex, or just by pokedex number. he prob never completed his dex tho. mike though who did/almost did, has Entirely unorganized boxes. after the incident he obviously stopped caring bc depression so like. yeah. so his rooms a little unorganized and his house in general. he will silently appreciate it if you organize it for him.

never allowed miki to have eggs bc 1; gen 1 limitations. idk how that'd work in universe but that'd probably be why it didnt happen in the pokepastas. 2; as you can tell. he's kinda overprotective of miki. also charizards aren't like. very regular pokemon you find and he wouldn't want to breed her with a ditto. and would only want to allow her to if she actually found a for-life mate.

and for the x reader-ification of this in the edit bc i misread the ask, he'd also do it if ur dating him and u have a pokemon. for example, whatever starter you have and miki would b cute. straight couple.. yuri couple.. yaoi couple... love is love and miki doesnt care. its cute and they act all cuddly and snuggly with eachother probably. kinda reminds you of u an steven too

speaking of miki is larger than normal charizards and probably is built a little different literally and figuratively. stevens tall. miki is taller though. at the very least post incident Corpse Miki is. how unique she was did not help stevens rage ( getting a new one would not be nearly the same especially due to that + he would never. ) but it was a smaller factor in everything. also i do not think that thang can lay eggs post-incident. sorry if u wanted a fucked up missingno charmander.

even if the trade incident happened but miki came out alive he'd still go on a depression spiral. he probably wouldn't kill mike in the end, but he'd be much quieter, and would be even more paranoid. would probably willingly move away from mike or separate their rooms at the least. if u were dating him during this time you could probably at least still recover him from this state since its less serious but the tension would be palpable for a while.

mike is your number 1 wingman for steven swooning. he's kind of bad at being a wingman. or he's good at it. whichevers funnier in your opinion tbh. but he knows what steven likes ( at least he hopes he does ) so he gives you tips and tricks for wooing him. or he gives steven tips and tricks on wooing you because he knows both of you n hangs out with both enough to know.

this is a headcanon with basically no basis but theres a part of me that kind of likes steven and mike being born in johto or somethin'. which is why he goes to johto in doors open after the incident. he's running away from his past + kanto + it's his home region. At least for a while. so he sometimes likes to travel around with miki and you there, or to other places.

he double-checks a lot of things way too much. like if things are locked, if things are properly in place, and if wires are properly connected and not fucked up or tangled or broken ( iykyk ). if you check for him and reassure him everythings fine he'll calm down slightly, but his paranoia goes "okay but what if they didnt check enough."

if you told s!3v3n he was being a bad boy like a fucking dog when he does smth you dont like he probably would actually look like a dejected puppy for a moment and sit in a corner ( /j. maybe. )

steven will try to impress you by playing a videogame and doing something cool. he probably fails or almost fails at it. but its kind of endearing and cute anyways.

he's left-handed ( definitely not projecting ). for symmetry, mike is right-handed. also miki is ambidextrous. How can a Charizard be ambidextrous you ask? You know. For fun. Daisy is also ambidextrous though which is the more normal option.

A NOTP I have with said character: ram/roswaal for obvious reasons but i will explain in Depth. because okay they have potential in the sense that there is a time and a place to show toxic unhealthy relationships in fiction with nuance and complexity between both characters. like roswaal has So Much influence on who ram is and also they have all that history together. there is So Much to explore there. like its fascinating with how roswaal plays a role in the destruction of the oni village, and then roswaal brings rem and ram to his mansion and roswaal threatens rem's life in order to put ram into a contract to serve him iirc? and ram LOATHES him bc of all that until. until gluttony erases rem and now ram has no reason to hate roswaal as much. now shes got like an Increased Complex Obsession with him thats now significantly less hate-love. like it is a full on cycle of abuse (in a Romantic lense) from echidna to roswaal to ram complete with Significant Age Differences??? like this is ALL so fascinating. and it sure would be in line with rezero's self improvement themes if ram grew to move away from her roswaal obsession and learn that she deserves Way Better than him.........

A random headcanon: so like… we barely know shit about wrath if. like at all. but we do know iirc that ram and subaru disappear from the mathers mansion at the same or around the same time. and ram tried to kill him and then he managed to smash a rock on her head. and then when we see them like Later in wrath if, ram’s been locked up all alone, subaru is the only one who knows shes there, and subarus been gathering mana crystals all this time just to keep her alive. like???? how did ram and subaru go from point a to point b, you may ask???? ANYWAY i have a many thoughts on wrath if ramsuba. bc its like…. ram was growing a tiny bit fond of subaru in arc 2, u know? and then from her pov subaru goes and KILLS HER SISTER…. meanwhile subarus been betrayed and rams trying to kill him and then subarus punished for trying to defend himself. and then subaru takes it too far and becomes purge king and kills a ton of people while imprisoning ram and emilia. wrath if drives me insane man. rams been locked up and subaru being the only one that knows shes there, along with the fact that ram and subaru disappear from the mansion at the same time, imply that ramsubas had a lot of time in private with just each other. subaru depends on her bc shes in color. rams life hangs in his hands. ram went from being trapped with roswaal to being trapped with subaru. its a whole MESS. i am fascinated.

General Opinion over said character: RAM IS GREAT AND ALL THOSE PEOPLE WHO SAY SHE DOESNT GIVE A SHIT ABOUT ANYONE ARE SO SO WRONG. ok so hopefully quick saeru thread on why trying to empathize with him actually undermines his role as a character (im making this because im very passionate abt kagepro's overall narrative and it's themes, and saeru is a core part of that as the villain) this was originally on twitter and is very long so im putting it under the read more lol

to start off, all of azami's snakes were created from some sort of trauma or surivial instinct. despite his sentience saeru is STILL one of those snakes. his feelings are technically fabricated from azami's desire to find herself and later on her fear of change. the reason i believe he is sentient is the fact he was born from such a complicated wish, so he was created with the necessary complicity in order to carry out said wish for azami. and factors like other people, weren't taken into account for his creation. so the sentience wasn't an issue for the hundreds of years azami would be alone. it only became an issue when she met tsukihiko and started a family. this was an unexpected turnout on saeru's part, because the world azami created was one created from isolation and despair. saeru doesn't have the capacity to understand love or kindness because he wasn't born from it. (this is why the idea of him caring for kenjirou doesnt make sense either but thts a whole other can of worms). what he has for azami isnt love, it's devotion. such severe devotion that he is willing to do things that only hurt her just because it's what he believes is right for her. he has to keep living bc she needs him to survive. so now that we've kind of established saeru's character we can move on to his role in the narrative... kagepro obviously revolves around the idea of repeating time, or timeloops. from a simple story perspective it's because of saeru, he pushes marry to the brink of despair, causing her to rewind time in order to be with her friends again. going a bit deeper in manga route 2, we find out his real motivation is to keep living in order to grant azami's wish to find her true self. so lets go back to the idea saeru is only created from azami's loneliness, or her crushing isolation of simply existing, and combine it with the idea that SAERU is the one causing the world to repeat. that saeru hates the idea that azami could find happiness in others. that saeru believes azami cannot be happy in a world created in her image. that saeru causes so much suffering he recreates a medusa in marry, and he feasts off of that despair. what does this mean? thematically saeru is supposed to represent the idea of resisting change, resisting it through constantly forcing oneself to relive traumatizing and hurtful moments in life out of a belief that this is what it always should be. from the comfort in despair. so lets take that and apply it to a different character, the protagonist, shintaro. specially route x shintaro. in route x shintaro refuses to forget ayano, replaying moments in his head over and over and over where he shouldve reached out, shouldve done better. he ignores ene, someone who cares for him and wants to help him, because he believes that by completely indulging himself in his despair and regret over ayano, she will continue to live on in his mind. so, what is that similar to? it almost directly parallels to saeru's idea of causing despair in order to feed off of it to survive. but, there is something that separates saeru from route x shintaro. the fact that shintaro can understand love. when he deletes ene, he almost immediately regrets it. and is horrified by what he's done. he's so horrified that he literally ends his own life, essentially ending ayano's memory. this is the exact opposite of what saeru wants. saeru is desperate to keep living. to keep the despair, bc it's all he is. without it he's nothing. without it, azami is nothing. if saeru was meant to be empathized with, then it would encourage literally every bad thing to happen in kagepro's story. bc he is a representation of that, and can almost parallel to every character with it. kano's painful emotional stagnation, the unhealthy devotion seto has to marry resulting in neglect of his loved ones, kido's belief that she was born

essentially broken, etc. all of these r themes that show in saeru's character. the character that brutally kills the mekakushi dan over and over, seeing their lives as little more then warped reflections of his master. he views it as a game, he finds joy in tragedy. he mocks marry for finding love just like azami had, he mocks her for trying to change the repeating story he had written. he's a hypocrite, because just as marry tries to gain autonomy so is he. so basically, he is portrayed as pure evil because he is the resistance to finding happiness through others despite pain and trauma, and the entire point of kagepro is learning to love the world despite all of the horrible things in it because at least one person can still love another. that the time spent with others can be some of the most precious things in a lifetime, that even when those times pass, those feelings never leave. saeru is a subversion of this, basically screaming in the readers face that "good feelings are temporary and bad ones last forever". he is a direct antithesis to the narrative marry attempts to create as the new medusa, not a a story created from the despair of loneliness, but one from love and care. if saeru was ever meant to be empathized with, then it undermines the themes of summer time record completely. saeru is supposed to be a complete monster, and interpreting otherwise warps the themes jin is trying to portray in the first place.

The most contradictory argument I've seen Claremont fans like to use to make the "Azazel isn't Nightcrawler's dad anymore" retcon look rational is "well it makes sense in the setting because not all mutants who look like each other and have the same powerset have to be related to each other even if Nightcrawler has [this this and that] in common with Azazel". Because you'll never see them pull a BS argument like in any other discussion like for Nightcrawler and his chimeras or Nightcrawler and his alternative reality daughter TJ. You'll see them instead go "it makes sense for them to be related and have those specific traits as his DNA gave them [same this this and that in the Azazel example]"

Here's the thing. Yes some X-Men characters can have similar powers and not be related to each other... But you'll be lying to yourself if those powers work the same way or carry the same signature between those characters and still think a biological tie isn't present.

Nightcrawler, TJ, the Chimeras and Azazel's teleportation powers have the same BAMF sfx. Their powers don't just have the same BAMF sfx : They work the same way as they all use the same dimension in their teleportation... Nobody else goes through that place but them. Azazel, Nightcrawler, TJ and the Chimeras are all immune the brimstone and light-headedness of each others' teleportation.

You can find traits in Nightcrawler's biological children that can't be found in him but are present in Azazel specifically. Does it make sense with the retcon's logic with Mystique and Destiny as his only biological parents ? Absolutely not... But it makes sense with Azazel here and by applying the same logic of a normal family tree.

TJ can make hex discs tied to the dimension she teleports through but Nightcrawler can't ? Well the Scarlet Witch is her mother and she also makes hex discs even if hers aren't tied to the Brimstone Dimension... But Azazel's magic is tied to the Brimstone dimension so it is possible the way his magic works skipped one generation hence why Nightcrawler doesn't have it while TJ does.

Cardinal has shadow bending abilities while being completely red (hair and fuzz) while Nightcrawler is completely blue (hair and fuzz) which gives him shadow bending abilities ? Well 1/3 of his DNA is Rachel's, a redhead, tho the other 2/3 are of characters with completely black hair... But it makes sense if Azazel is part of the equation since he himself has red fuzz and it has shadow bending abilities contrary to Nightcrawler who wouldn't have shadow bending abilities if he wasn't blue.

I mean the main problem with their argument is that Azazel was designed to be Nightcrawler's father and has been so for more than 20 years now, even the retcon couldn't fully remove him it just created a convoluted way to connect him to Nightcrawler but as established any being that gets Azazel's blood becomes his child anyhow.

Honestly the looking alike doesnt mean relation argument could be used against Mystique if some writer decides "you know what I hate this relationship let's get rid of it". The only difference would be that Mystique has more of a nostalgia factor for Older X-Men fans that's literally it.

I remember that Nightcrawler's body is attuned to magic even if he doesn't necessarily cast it he can use it to some degree if he needs to so where would that come from otherwise because neither Mystique nor Destiny have Magic based powers.

Also thinking about it aren't all the characters who teleport through the Brimstone dimension related to Azazel?

I don't really know who Cardinal is beyond what you've told me but if they do have Red Fuzz then yeah where tf else would that have come from other than Azazel.

Theres probably a few factors that go into it. The general burn out that comes with a partner that struggles with mental health (because as horrible as it sounds, that is a valid reason. Coming from someone who is mentally ill and diagnosed with stuff, I would not blame my partner for leaving me if my symptoms began to wear down their mental health. It does not make someone a burden. Ones mental health is ultimately theres to deal with, and protect, but I'm not about to go on a tangent I'm just gonna say its valid), feeling that you can't compete with queenie, as well as a few other things

Zooble themselves is very distant and checked out, and even more so given the current situation. But even then I dont think that there would be an event that would lead to the breakup; because otherwise I feel they would try to make it work

It takes them a while to adapt to being single again, but they will get over it eventually. That being said they give me the vibe that they rend to avoid their exes

- height doesnt really play that much into romantic interests when it comes to Spencer

- but obviously, whether you’re taller or shorter is going to play a part in your relationship interactions with him

- first of all, the lack of back pain from NOT having to bend down to kiss you? a god send

- depending on the extent of your height, Spencer may be the one leaning up to kiss you, which he would find exciting and endearing

- omg imagine him looking up into your eyes with a beaming smile cuz he just feels so lucky to have you Im weak he is baby

- his clothes arent baggy on you, which at first you were a little embarrassed by, but he discovered a new sexiness in how perfectly you fit into his clothes, and he never stopped complimenting you anytime he saw you in them

- not only can you steal his clothes, but the stereotype is reversed, because he can wear your clothes too

- this includes parading around in your skirts and dresses for regular fashion shows because gender is a social construct and society is stupid

- and whenever you go clothes shopping together, you end up buying outfits with both of your fashion senses in mind, so that pretty much every item of clothing you own is applicable to both of you on any given day

- this does on occasion lead to some minor inconveniences

- he isnt at all embarrassed by you being taller than him, if anything he’s proud to have earned the right to be with such a beautiful person

- Spencer still refers to you as cute, baby, and other petnames typically associated with “small” things, because to him those words should not be reserved to a person or thing that meets certain requirements. if it’s cute, it’s cute, and you are!

- as much as he tries not to refer to stereotypes, he cant help calling you his “supermodel” when you come down the stairs all dressed up in a fancy outfit for any reason

- it isnt at all awkward for you to hold hands when walking together, there’s no pre-set arrangement of having to hold hands in a specific way because one of your arms wont reach his otherwise. it just works

- anytime you get down or insecure, Spencer is there to pick you up and remind you that you are gorgeous inside and out, and the fact you’re taller than average just means there’s more physical beauty to show the world

- that “pick you up” was metaphorical but he would also have no issue in actually picking you up

- he’s a skinny lad but he got some muscle

- the length of your legs? a boy could cry, a boy could fall to his knees and beg to be worthy of you. and Spencer does sometimes do that just to be dramatic

- he really likes the way you walk. it’s an odd thing to notice, but he’s a profiler, and something about your height affects how you carry yourself. there’s an air of elegance that makes his heart skip a beat

- and then there are moments when he sees you trip or walk into something and his heart skips a beat again for an entirely different reason as he runs over to you

- overall, height isnt really a factor in who Spencer is attracted to, but he’ll be a goddamn fool with one braincell before he denies that dating a tall person obviously has some perks

OO HI!! SORRY FOR BEING SO LATE!!

In general I love the fact hes a morally grey character that in general doesnt seems to care for what other think of him! (except if hes wearing a gimp suit obviously lol) and his smugness as well, for postal 2 dude I love his colors! theyre more dull which for me fits his character really well and I try to do that in my art of him as well (though Ive been slacking more on that aspect lol) his design in general is just so nice to look and memorable too, its simple but effective, peak character design right there and I dont even mean it as a joke I genuinely think his design is super good, and most importantly THE GLASSES!! I like drawing him with his eyes showing but when he has the sunglasses is where the fun is at, because it kinda brings a surprise factor to him, his colors are more died down but then you see his eyes and BAM!! green! of course theyre not too bright as to match with his other colors but still bright enough for him to have some contrast and bring some surprise to the player!

Now for p1 dude, I once again love his color scheme, I love red so its fun to look at him, even with just his limited model on the original postal you can see a lot of stuff in his design which is very impressive! I love his fingerless gloves and his sweater vest as well/shirt he wears on the gone postal cover, also...long hair...pretty.. ALSO his design with the red coat and green vest! I dont usually see it being drawn (I personally do prefer to draw the red and black version because I prefer that color scheme but the other is still quite good and I wanna draw it someday!) idk his design is just once again very cool to me

NOW FOR THE DATING PART OwO (sorry if these are hard to understand im very bad with writing and most of my fantasies rarely follow a story or a very strict personality to them lol)

for p2 I imagine it would be more difficult for him to "open up" I guess, he would start pretty closed off like he is in the game, even when hes interested in you hes still kinda closed off, with stuff like flirty interactions the thing he can do best because hes more in control, show that man some genuine affection and he wouldnt know how to take it (show that man love no one in paradise apreciates him >:( ) he would probably blue screen a bit from affection, however slowly he would start getting used it and start showing a bit more as well, you would just need to be a bit patient with him, he would however still care for you and be a bit possesive, not in the unhealthy way I mean would get jealous about you and if anyone tried to do anything he would kick their ass, in general his love language is a mix of physical contact and acts of service, he also calls you darling and dearie :)

NOW FOR P1 oh p1

tbh I think he would a bit more possesive compared to p2 by a bit, finding a not sick person would be a miracle to him, he would be a bit more emotional as well, confiding in you and being the only one he would trust, to me he would profess his love to you in a way more I guess poetic way?? idk how to call it but yeah! man is down bad for you essentialy, dont get me wrong though hes still postal dude of course, just ya know with more problems

now for the massacre part.. I feel it COULD be possible to be able to stop him from doing everything like people generally write p1 x reader fics but honestly to me, idk I feel like no matter what something would make him snap, the thing is would you join him or not... my self insert does but really I think that changes from person from person, I imagine that during the very small breaks from the killing he would be all over you, you're the thing that calms him down, also if he went to the asylum he would be saved by you, together till the end no matter what

AGAIN I know the whole joining in with him might seem bad! its just that for me its not any postal dude, especially postal 1 dude wihout some violence ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ 

ALSO i headcanon all the dudes with the exception of corkscrew for obvious reason that theyre all part brazilian and portuguese is their first language! (self projection wee hoo) so they would call you pet names or say how much they love in the language! I feel they would say amor a lot and the variations of it (amorzinho, meu amor, mo, also that basically means my love in different ways in english) p3 would say xuxu or xuxuzin for sure though (idk how to translate this but like, imagine it as like saying doll or darling but in a more joking manner)

In any way, all of them would be protective of you, wouldnt want to hurt you no matter what and if anyone tried they're dead

(also bonus p3, he would be the most smug out of all of them, he KNOWS you love him and he loves you too and oh boy is he gonna have fun with it, also both him and p2 would probably fight for you a bit in paradise lost lol)
