Can I request "this didnt turn out like I intended" with shidou, es, and amane?

Aw yeah!! Thank you so much for the request -- I ended up giving the line to Es but honestly all three of them could have said it, it was perfect 👀 I pictured this before the T2 interrogations, with Es being fairly quiet about their guilt towards everything that happened. Though Shidou appears a bit less, I hope I could convey that he and Es share a lot of thoughts, interestingly.

Es would never get accustomed to the screaming. 

They’d heard a few anguished cries from the prisoner’s videos. They’d gotten a few agitated shouts when the first trial verdicts were announced. But nothing could have prepared them for the way the prison halls echoed now. Whether the prisoners poured out their sorrows, anguish, or agony at recent injuries, Es didn’t think they needed Milgram’s power to hear the true sounds of their heart. 

Es wished they’d just stop already. They knew it was selfish to hope for. They knew it stemmed from their own guilt. That didn’t make them wish for it any less.

The current bout of cries was coming from Shidou’s cell. Es had paused just before passing, trying to bury a wince as they listened to Fuuta struggle with treatment.

Amane approached from the other side. She glared at the cell, though Es knew it wasn’t the screaming that was bothering her.

She opened her mouth to speak, but they said in a hushed voice, “hey, I don’t need you giving Shidou any trouble. I know you disapprove, but I stand by this. I’m the one who told Shidou to check on Fuuta and Mahiru. I’m going to make sure they’re cared for.”

Amane studied them with her bright, unsettling gaze. “Why?” Her voice came out as strangely even as always. She was one of the few Es hadn’t heard any kind of shout from. “If something is destined to happen, who are you to change its course? Do you really believe you are the same as God, having that much control over the lives of others?”

“Not at all.” Es didn’t fight her. They weren’t here to change her heart, only read it. Still, they wondered if they could convince her to soften a bit without denouncing her beliefs. “The thing is, I’m not affecting their fate.”

“Then what do you call this?”

“Putting things back the way they should be.”

Es had tried to stand by their actions. They’d put on a tough face in front of the injured prisoners. They could not show weakness. As their warden, they couldn’t show any uncertainty, whatsoever. After all, the only thing worse than nearly getting killed was finding out you nearly got killed because of a child’s mistake. So they would keep this act up. They would assure everyone that this was still going according to plan. 

The way Amane looked at them, she already knew it wasn’t.

So, they figured it wouldn’t hurt to speak a little more openly now. Maybe it would even help explain Amane’s verdict. That certainly hadn’t gone as planned, either. “I wrongfully changed their lives when I let them get hurt. I saw that Kotoko had the capability for something like this, and I ignored it in the name of forgiveness. Now I need to fix the harm I’ve caused.”

“You haven’t caused any harm.”

Fuuta howled from inside.

Amane turned her gaze away. “That was still an outside force. You had no control over Kotoko’s actions. You and Shidou have control now.”

“I did have control over Kotoko, though. I knew my choices would have consequences. This is my fault.”

It felt good to say it out loud. Maybe not 'good.' It was a relief.

“And if I may venture to speak for Shidou…” That man was a mystery, but Es had put a few pieces together, at least. “It seems… he also took some lives off of their intended course. This is his way of fixing that. Right now, this is all we can do to make up for our decisions of the past. Isn’t that acceptable?”

She went to answer, but some shuffling from the cell cut her off. Shidou emerged, his expression changing ever so slightly upon finding the two just outside. Fuuta scowled on his way out, but said nothing. 

As the pair stood face to face, Amane’s eyes lit with fiery fury. Shidou met her with a harsh coldness.

“I wasn’t expecting you two,” he said simply. He was one of the others Es had yet to hear with a raised voice. Their two quietest prisoners, locked in such an intense struggle. That had certainly been an unexpected turn. “Is everything alright?”

“Yes,” Es lied. “We just stopped to talk for a moment.”

“Oh? What about?” Shidou folded his hands together. His gloves were covered in blood, they noticed. 

“Just that… this…” they waved a gloved hand in a general gesture, “didn’t work out as I intended.”

Shidou offered them a smile. It was one without any warmth, but that didn’t make it any less genuine.

“Mmm. It never does.”

This has been rattling in my mind for a minute and i need to scream about it.

The significance of the item display of the backpacks and how much that defines the QSMP characters.

If you dont know, Leo found out you can display an item in your backpack and show it off. Kinda like a little charm or a keychain. Ever since then, a bunch of people have been displaying items.

Lets start off with the trend setter.

Leo:

Her item is a totem. Obviously this is about Foolish. She spends the most time with Foolish and adores him. They are super close and are super similar. Another reason could be showing off her wealth. Also, a joke that she is immortal (she isnt) and its a bit of a hint to that.

Foolish:

His item is the player head that Leo always wears. Obviously, like Leo, it represents how much he loves Leo and the time they spent together. It also looks like Leo is in his backpack and showing that they are always together (Siempre juntos) no matter what.

Philza:

His item is a skull you can wear on your head. Now theres a lot to interpet here. The obvious one is that this represents Missa. Either that he always chooses Missa or that Missa is with him and Chayanne even if hes away. Again theres a lot to talk about.

Another reason is that death isnt scary for him / death is always there. Philza in general is associated with death (his irl wife's lore is being the goddess of death). With his son on one life for so long and now his granddaughter, he has come to terms with death. He isnt scared of the Code Monster. He will fight until the death no matter what.

Tallulah:

Her item is a poppy. I believe she gives poppies to people she meets for the first time. For me, it represents her innocence. In the way she views the world and how the world views her. Everyone sees her as a sweet girl and is super kind. Majority, if not everyone, always loves her. For her, she always views the world with love. She is told by Wilbur and Phil that her kindness and love is necessary. In a world full of terror and fear, there needs to be love and gentleness

Chayanne:

His item is a potato. For anyone who doesnt know, Chayanne is deeply inspired by Techoblade. Technoblade is known for being a incredible warrior and a great Potato farmer. Please look up his videos. Philza told Chayanne about Techno and again is deeply inspired by him. The potato is a reminder of Chayanne's goals. To help everyone and to protect everyone.

Richarlyson:

His item is a heart container, one used to get an extra heart of health. I have so many emotions about this. I think the main one is that Richarlyson is the heart of the Brazilians / Favela Five. He is the core, for better or for worse. He always loves all his dads. Even recently with how scary everything is, he still loves and trusts his dads.

Forever:

His item is a Nether star. I honestly feel like this defines his character so well. An item that takes a lot of time, resources, and strength to get. Forever has put in that time and effort. His strength shines in his armor and how persistent he is. Also, the nether star is needed to make the highest level of the block reinforcer. Its needed to make everything safe. Forever has shown that over and over again. He wants to make everything safe.

(Update, Richarlyson changed his to a nether star so him and Forever are matching!)

Cellbit:

His item is the universal block remover. I dont know how recent this change is, but I noticed it when he was in his federation office. Just like Forever, this defines his character so well. He is there to break something, either the Enigma or the Federation. He is trying to get inside.

BadBoyHalo:

His item is a Scythe. For anyone who doesnt know, Bad said he is the grim reaper. Either coming to people to remind them to drink water or that he helps guide people to the afterlife. A lot of people thinks that why he cares so much about the eggs. He is the one to transport them to the afterlife.

Mike:

As im making this post, Tazercraft went live and I noticed Mike has a red block in his item display. I dont know a lot of Tazercraft/ Mike's lore. I do know that in tazercraft's game of hide and seek, a red block is represented to show who is the seeker/killer. Maybe it relates to that?

This is everyone I can think of off the top of my head. Theres probably more people who have it, but yeah.

oh we’re still so young, desperate for attention

this was super experimental so i will talk about my process (+ clearer version) under the cut

i’ve been looking at a lot of “messier” or more textured painting styles recently and an artist that stuck out to me is clariondeluna ! they posted a self-portrait recently that i really liked and i was super interested in the brushwork seen in their work. i love all the textures and how the shapes feel so loose yet everything is so detailed.

that’s not a method for me at all!!!! i cannot paint like that at all and the stuff i like to paint is very different to theirs. which is okay!!!! i had no intention to copy this artists style so closely like with what i tried to do in my raiden painting, i just wanted to try this style out :^)

it’s been a goal of mine to avoid over-rendering like i tend to do a lot, and i think i’ve been doing good with that recently! the mindset i’ve got going on right now is that if i find myself staring at it too hard for too long, i have to leave it and move on. if there’s still something wrong with it, i can fix it later once ive got a fresh view!

i’ve been trying a lot of things with my art this year. i always try to challenge myself with each piece, and to end the year off i wanted to be as uncomfortable as i possibly could be with this painting. i let myself draw whatever i wanted because i still wanted to enjoy it, but everything i did in this process was new, including parts of the subject matter.

i’ve never drawn a head at an angle like this, and i struggle with drawing mouths open. i don’t do bold lighting like this, and if i do, it’s not fire. i’ve never drawn fire! i also rarely work with warm colours and i hate using green, so i combined those to be my colour palette. i like working cleanly so instead of having a dozen different layers for one section, each section only had 1-2 layers for rendering. instead of clipping masks i would simply paint over things loosely and clean it up later. i never like having limbs cut off in a drawing so i had his other arm go GOD knows where. i don’t like weird patterned backgrounds so i made myself figure out how to like it!

IS THIS MY FAVOURITE PIECE OF ALL TIME. no. absolutely not. but i’m very proud of how this came out with all the challenges i put on myself. i WANTED to get better at these things and be more broad with my art, both in terms of the styles and subjects i portray.

okay let’s talk about wtf this drawing is

for those who don’t know, the design in this painting is my fatui/“Father” lyney fan design (read the design post here). the concept isnt super complicated and i don’t really have much explanation for it, but i wanted to combine the story of how lyney wanted a delusion before getting his vision, fire eating circus acts and how olympic medalists will bite their medal to prove it’s real??? don’t quote me on that i’m like 75% sure that’s a thing that happens. i don’t watch sports though so im just believing someone i heard on the internet ages ago.

anyways. i think fire eating acts are cool. and i think the fact that lyney wanted a delusion is very interesting to me. scratches my brain in the right places. and yk as a magician lyneys character revolves a lot around fooling people and creating illusions so i guess what im saying here is that lyney is trying to prove to himself that this power he’s been bestowed is real. bc his whole life his only constant has been lynette so he is trying to see if he can trust this new power. cause i guess this is an alternate universe where lyney does eventually become “Father” but he never got his vision ??? idk im not making lore for this i just wanted to dress up this funny little guy.

"Please." Max begged as he looked down at his kart, panic settling in his throat as the machine failed to start. Jos had abandoned the race once he figured out the kart wasn't going to move an inch, and Max held onto the tight string of hope that maybe it could still race.

"Please please please." He begged, trying again and again. "Tu es Bien?" Looking up he's met with your eyes. You could see he was hyperventilating, panic in his eyes, his hands shaking.

"C'est bien. C'est bien." You crouched down, putting your hand on his shoulder. Comforting him slowly. "Aller." You gestured for him to get off, and he did. And although he didn't understand you, he was ready to trust you.

Pulling your tool set out of your pocket, you began your work, Max fidgeting with his hands as he watched quietly. "Common tu t'appelle?" "Huh?" He barley understood the basics, let alone with your accent. "She asked what your name is." Charles popped out of no where, explaining.

"Max." "Ahh, le grand Max Verstappen." He felt himself blush understanding the title. You knew who he was? "Quel âge a tu?" "She's asking how old you are." Max glared at Charles huffing, feeling like he ruined the moment. "Ten." He answered.

"Dix? J'ai dix-sept." And although you were a whole 7 years older than him, he felt attracted to you. Fixing a few wires, you quickly finished up patting the seat for Max. He immediately got in, starting the kart successfully.

"Congratulations." You patted his head, pocketing your tools.

2015

"C'est superbe." You put your hand out for him to shake. Without hesitation, Max shook your hand you could see his eyes wrinkle with a hidden smile beneath his helmet as he greeted you at parc freme.

Although he hadn't beaten you to P1, he felt pretty good losing to you. "Ton premier podium, n'est-ce pas sympa?" [your first podium, isnt that nice?] He couldn't understand you, but your voice and accent got him higher than any drug, made him blush more than any compliment.

He had ran after you as soon as you popped the champagne, making sure to empty all the contents of the expensive bottle on you as you tried to escape him, laughs falling from your mouth like waterfalls, music to his ears.

He set his mind to it, to get a podium with you every race to hear this laugh, and to learn French in attempt to rizz you up. Maybe he can ask you out?

"Y/N." He caught up to you after getting off the podium. "I was wondering if you wanted to go out to dinner if you're free?" "Ah! C'est une super idée, je connais un super restaurant ici à Monte Carlo." [yes! that's a great idea, i know a great restaurant here in monte carlo] You nodded eagerly handing your trophy to Charles ( who was making grabby hands for it ) and the champagne to Lorenzo.

"Est-ce que ça va si ma famille m'accompagne aussi?" [is it okay if my family tags along] "Quoi? Non! Tu as dit qu'il n'y aurait que nous!" [what? no! you said it would just be us!] "She's asking if it's okay for us to tag along." Lorenzo translates for Max, making the two teens glare at each other. "It's fine I guess. What ever you want." Max shrugged with a small smile.

"C'est une affaire." [its a deal] You shook his hand nodding.

Oh wow your hands were soft. Max felt embarrassed by his own rough and rigidi ones. "Je viendrai vous chercher dans quelques instants." [i'll pick you up in a few] You ruffled his hair before pulling your cousins away.

'Note to self,' max thought, 'Learn French.'

2016

"Le grand Max." You joked as you watched max receive the P1 trophy. He was overjoyed as he held it, gently pulling you in a hug which you returned laughing, patting his back.

"Merci, Y/N." "P1 vous convient." [P1 suit you] You teased booping his nose before receiving your P2 trophy, raising it for your Ferrari team to see. Max could only smile, admiring your happy glow as you lifted you champagne bottle up.

He's been staring to long, watching you pop the bottle, too distracted to begin his escape from you. He was soaked from head to toe before you were done with him, a chocking and laughing mess. "Allez." You gestured for him to lean backwards on your outstretched arm, raising the bottle up.

"I can't— I—" He cut himself off, letting you dip him down and pour the expensive alcohol down his throat, emptying it in his mouth. He held onto your race suit, doing his best to gulp down the liquid. "Voilà!" [there you go] You cheered once he got back up on his feet, all dizzy and disoriented.

"Y a-t-il quelque chose entre toi et Max?" [is there something between you and max] Charles asked once you handed him your new trophy. 'Me and Max?' You though for the first time. An idea that made your heart flutter. You've never thought about Max that way before, and you're sure he wouldn't think of you that way either.

He was only 18, and you were 25. Plus you two were drivers that competed against each other. It's not like you two could be in a relationship. What would people think?

But now that the idea was given to you, you couldn't get it out of your head. Even with Max sitting beside you on a random rock, watching the sunset in a random location drinking beer. "Hey why do they call it— MHPH~" He was surly taken aback, never in his 18 years of life would he expect this.

You turned your face into his, crashing your lips into his. It was a passionate kiss. Max could feel fireworks erupt in his heart as you moved your soft lips against his. He held onto your shoulder, panting as he squeezed his eyes shut. "Y/N." He begged between kisses.

Snapping out of it, you pulled away with wide eyes as you watched Max catch his breath. "Y/N." He tried to lean in and catch you again only for you to lean back, gulping. "We— we cant. You're— you're just a kid." You tried to reason.

Was max dreaming? He's hearing you speak English? He must be dead.

"I like you, Y/N. I do." "What what the people think? The media? We— we can't— mhh~" You moaned into his lips, gently gripping his hair as he leaned into your body, lips meeting yours once again. "We don't have to tell them. We—we can keep this between us." He promised, holding your hand.

2017

Making eye contact with Max, you stubbly nod to a random corner gesturing for him to take a time out. You could see his face blush as he struggled to make up an excuse to get away.

You trapped him in a corner once you got the chance, leaning down and connecting your lips with him into a soft and hungry kiss. This has been going on for months now, sneaking away only for you to trap Max between your arms as you made out.

You could feel his hand fist your shirt as you trailed your kisses down his neck, careful not to leave any marks. You could feel him stutter and stumble on his breath as one of your hands traced and danced slowly to where he needed you most.

"Y/N." You could hear him gasp as you helped him get rid of the tension on his pants. "Bon garçon." [good boy] You whispered in his ear once he finished as he struggled to catch his breath, falling on his bum on the floor like putty.

You leaned down, wiping the lipstick off his skin and zipping up his pants, leaving one last kiss in the corner of his mouth before disappearing same way you came.

"Voyonsssss." [lets seee] You giggled as you adjusted the Santa hat on your head, beginning to pull the wrapper of your gift apart to reach your secret Santa present. "J'espère que c'est soit de kimi parce que je sais que ce serait marrant de sa part, soit de seb. Je parie que seb fait les meilleurs cadeaux." [i hopping it's either from kimi because i know it would be fun from him, or or seb. I bet seb makes the best gifts.]

You chuckled, opening the gift to see a small pink hot wheels Porsche glued to the lid of a box. "Qu'est-ce que c'est?" [what's this] you chuckled confused as you pulled the little box open, pulling the paper out. "Manuel du conducteur?" [drivers manual] You read through the text confused, chuckling nervously.

"Je— Oh non." [I- oh no] You dropped the items covering your face, tears welling up in your eyes. "Pardon, pardon." [sorry sorry] you apologized quickly picking back up the box, pulling out the porsche car keys. "Oh mon dieu." [oh my god]. Looking at the driver's manual you could only squeal as more happy tears ran down your eyes.

"Someone got me a porsche?! Whos in their right mind!?" You wiped your tears pulling out the written card. "So you can go watch all the sunsets you want in style. Who's crazy enough to do this." "Is it your dream car?" "It is, oh my god." You fussed kissing the keys. "It's that idiot Max, I bet. He is so dead."

"Do you like it?" Max asked as he passed by, taking a sip from his Redbull can to try and hide his smile. "C'mere." "Oh shit." He ran away from you quickly as you started to chase him.

2019

"You're an asshole." You gently smacked his bicep as you undid his shirt. Max visibly gulped, feeling your finger trace down his bare chest. "Do you want to stop? We can stop whenever you want." You assured, looking into his eyes.

Max was quick to shake his head. He wanted his first and only times to be with you. Although to the reasoning as to why he was having his first time in the passenger seat of your 911 targa was a mystery to him. He felt his breath hitch as you trailed kisses down his body, feeling on fire despite the January weather of Belgium.

He couldn't stop his hands from roaming your body once it was your turn to undress, his eyes looking at you with hunger and admiration, memorizing every inch. "I need you." He cursed, hooking his finger and pulling down your underwear slowly.

"Si impatient." [so impatient] You scolded him as you leaned your hands on his chest, sinking all the way down. You've never heard Max moan so loud and so much before. He was a practically in wonderland the whole time, gripping your hips with numerous sounds, whimpers, sinful noises falling from his mouth.

It turned you on knowing you had this effect on him, feeling him buck his hips up every few thrusts, curl his toes, beg for you. "My love— my love, I'm so close." He begged you as he leaned his head on your shoulder, hugging your waist as he practically slammed up into you chasing his orgasm.

"You fit me so perfectly, Y/N. You feel— fuck s—so good." He was a babbling mess to say the least. You could only giggle and encourage him in his ear as he neared you your own high.

"Good boy." You praised in his ear quietly as you stroked his hair, feeling his chest heave against yours. "Such a good boy." You hummed stroking his cheek gently as he brought his knees up, hugging you tighter, nuzzling in your neck. "W—wanna stay like this for a while longer." I think that regardless if youre Male, Female, or anything else Leona would still take a “protector” role. I think it's just how he is, not just because he’s a lion. I feel like his love language is protecting/providing. So making sure your fridge is stocked, You have a nice blanket for winter, and getting you a fan for the summer heat is more his style than verbalizing it.

I have this HC that he would pretend to get up before you both go to sleep to get water/ go to the bathroom but he’s really checking all your doors and windows to make sure they’re locked.

I think that the protective, caring side would lead him to prefer driving while you rest. It’s not a matter of thinking you’re a bad driver or not trusting you, it's a simple matter of wanting to do something for you.

“Watch your step”

He probably likes watching people eat pavement so I think its just a simple matter of not wanting you to get hurt.

He definitely holds the door open for you. Again regardless of your gender, he does this. You can be 3x his size he is still doing this.

Epel

“I’ll walk you home.”

A classic. Really this could go for all the boys but I can see Epel doing this clearly. He lives in the country on acres of land, surrounded by miles of trees. As someone who lives near the country, I can say It gets DARK at night. the street lights are normally a bit far apart and because there is less light pollution there isnt really any extra light. Trust me its not fun to walk alone. So having someone walk you home is super normal and more less expected.

Felmier family Headcanon: If Epel’s Grandma was out at someone else’s house his grandpa would go over to where she was when it got late so they could go home together, chatting and laughing as they walk. Epel’s parents carried this tradition on even doing it to Epel when he’d stay out late.

Even though you’re both at NRC and there is much more light at night, its no longer about comfort of someone walking with you and more about walking together. Just like his grandpa, Epel loves the time spent walking you to your dorm. The jokes and stories you too share. Just going over what your plan for the week is. It’s one of his favorite parts.

“It’s not heavy. I’m stronger than I look.”

You don't work on a farm for your whole life and not have upper body strength, Okay. I think kinda like Leona, Epel is a provider or wants to be. So being able to help you AND show off his muscles is not a chance he will pass up.

Ruggie

“I saved a piece for you.”

“Try some.”

Okay, so both of these have to do with food and it's not anything you haven't heard before BUT hear me out.

IRL when you don’t always have access to food, Going out of your way to share your food and enjoy it with another is something special. But going out of your way to save food for someone is normally reserved for family. If you have extra to give, give to your neighbor. But when you don't have that extra, everything is for family.

Even if Ruggie is no longer worrying about food, those habits die hard. When he saves a slice of pizza for you just because he thinks you will enjoy it, it means something more than just making sure you’ve eaten. He knows you’ve eaten, there is food in the cafeteria, and in your dorm, and he even knows Sam would give you freebies if you didn't have food. So it's more about just sharing it with you. The experience of eating together so to speak.

I do think there is an aspect of it being about making sure someone he cares for has a full belly. Him wanting to make sure you never go to bed hungry or have to worry about food. I don’t think it would be his main love language but food is definitely one of his ways to show he cares.

I don't think I wrote Ruggie's part right. And I think I could have done better in Epel's part but I really like this series. It's a little hard sometimes for me to find my wording. This is a problem I deal with IRL too so I hope yall understood what I was saying. I'm trying yall.

I really like this series idea and I already have the basketball club version drafted I just have to edit it. So expect that at some point.
