I think it's so 😭😭 how my dad is always like see you're good at (insert academic thing here) when you apply yourself like🚶‍♀️🚶‍♀️ idk how to break it to you but I dont think I have applied myself in academia ever so that sure as hell isn't it

#he thinks i work hard like i put in minimal effort man 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♀️ i dont have to do a lot to do well so i dont #i honestly could not tell you a time i applied myself for more than a short burst of time 😭😭😭😭 im really not a consistent effort person #also??? this was based on him asking how i felt about i final i said i took yesterday (then decided to take this morning instead but shh)#so i lied and said it was fine bc i knew it would be so????????#like i said nothing about studying i said i thought i did fine which is true but is entirely arbitrary??? i could think i did okay then fail #he thinks my freshman mishap is bc i didnt apply myself and i guess in a roundabout way since i did fine in other classes 🥴 but i was also #just MAD depressed and overwhelmed and not handling things well at all #like wow shocker i do better in classes i dont feel utter despair in and that i understand wow who knew #anyway🚶‍♀️ he can believe what he wants
