Dc x dp idea 15
I love some good insane Fenton parents fics. Especially when they mistake hero’s for ghost. I
It’s typically one of the bats. But thinking about it. I feel like one of the supers are a better choice. They fly and shoot lasers.
So fentons move to metropolis to hunt down Superman. As much as i love kyrptonite rock candy it would also have to effect ghost in this. Maybe it’s solidified ectoplasm and is trying to steal the ectoplasma from ghost or something.
Danny avoids going home at all cost. He’s out at library’s and seems to attract trouble of the new enemies (Danny’s rouges). More reason the Fenton parents think Superman is a ghost.
They new weapons the Fentons make include shooting shards of the kryptonite to handicap the ghost.
Through some means they catch Superman. Danny is just horrified.
Since he is half human i don’t feel it would effect him to awful human. Enough he doesn’t want to go home but not enough he can’t move unless he’s using any abilities.
Danny gets him out parents are investigated. Everyone thinks Danny was experimented on by his parents with alien dna.

Danny can't recall many fond memories of his childhood, but ones he did remember often included their summer trips to his Aunt Alicia's in the countryside where he and Jazz would play in the woods just outside the Kent family's farm. The Kent's were a wonderful family who took his parents' ghost talks in stride, and they were always kind to him and Jazz. Danny loved when Clark and his wife Lois were in town while they visited. They always had really cool stories on account of them being journalists. And if Danny seemed to notice that Clark tended to treat everything like it was glass, or that he seemed to hear things way better than he should... well, Danny wasn't going to say anything about it.
It was about a year after Danny's accident that the Fenton family made a trip back out to Alicia's. Clark happened to be in town; he heard the Fentons were coming. He'd heard shouting coming from Alicia's, but had initially thought nothing of it. The Fentons were a loud family, always getting into some sort of trouble. Then he heard the sound of their weapons firing; a little weirder, but still normal for Jack and Maddie. And then he heard a cry for help... that's when he found Danny stumbling through their fields, covered in dirt and blood and green, glowing goop. He had a gash in his side that he gripped at in pain, and his eyes burned a toxic green in his determination to get to the farmhouse. He clung to Clark as soon as he was close enough.
"Please help me," he whimpered through ground teeth. "My parents are hunting me, please you have to help me!" Probably a meta, he thought, angry that Jack and Maddie could do something like this to their own son, meta or not. With gentle hands, Clark lifted the child he'd known since he was a baby and got him to the safest place he could think of for medical attention. It was time to smuggle a child into the Batcave.
OR
Clark has known Danny his whole life, and when an identity reveal goes sideways in the countryside, Batman helps Clark adopt Danny.

Cap marvel headcanons I Will integrate into a fic one day but also have Zero basis in canon to my knowledge (this ended up being LONG):
The living lightning is an ancient force akin to the speed force, and the 'true' guardian of magic, being possibly the first 'magical creature' ever created.
The rock of eternity only recently became based on earth, in the past several thousand years, with the planet's deities acting as mountains in the rain cycle - funnels to safely channel the magic back into the Champion. It's a fully symbiotic relationship that benefits the planet and its people immensely.
This means previously the rock has been based on alien planets. Previous champions are ancient aliens, many from species that no longer exist, either because the species died out or evolved into something unrecognisable.
The champion of magic may have inspired the oua (?), the creators and high council of the green lanterns. Ooh maybe an oua was selected as champion, which is how they learned of it!
The living lightning, when not in a mortal vessel, rests in the heart of the Rock in a large brazier, with a smoke lid of white edged with gold in a familiar pattern. It is tradition, or perhaps instinct, for a Champion to light the brazier whenever they visit the Rock. It will be lit for as long as the visit lasts, and be extinguished the next time they come.
Should it choose to take form, the living lightning resembles a washed out combination of each of its previous Champions. Its form is solid and clear, strong and made for battle, but distinctly uncanny. It doesn't leave its brazier, nor speak.
The 'ideal form' of a hero varies all the time, doesn't it? Especially if you're a kid still growing and learning about yourself and the world. Headcanon cap ever so subtly changes features sometimes. Gradually. Height and build changes sometimes. One of the league members has noticed but they really can't prove it to themselves and it's driving them crazy. Billy has no idea.
On that topic, the 'ideal form' also includes the clothes, right? The red costume? If Billy transforms with the intent of doing something outside his normal hero things (ie, attending a celebration), the outfit has every reason and ability to change to reflect that! Everyone expecting cap to show up in his normal gear and ready to throw a formal suit at him to wiggle on over his costume and he shows up in a red and gold set with a little one shoulder cape like 'yeah I have no idea either'.
Cap marvel Is An Adult. Billy isn't, but cap is in every single way that someone could count. This is probably canon but in some fics I think the jl forgets lol. It's still the same soul, just, with an adult filter instead of a kid one. However that filter manifests.
Not sure this is canon too, but the idea of the mind/soul/whatever of cap manifesting as this great impossible mass. A storm, or a tiger, or a barrier of lightning. This giant, untouchable, dormant mass of power and implied Danger™. Again, Billy has no idea. J'onn is eying warily from a very safe distance.
His wiki practically waxes poetic about his abilities and skills in strategy, mathematics, nigh precognition from ability to spot and manipulate patterns. Captain marvel is unbeatable at chess. Batman has lost to him. Billy cannot do fractions and it drives him up the WALL.
The champion, and ONLY the champion, can share his powers. If shazam wants a second champion he has to give a new set wholesale or convince the champion to share. Similarly, those patroned by the champion cannot transform unless the champion is also transformed. Because otherwise that would be too easy for Billy lol.
Every time Billy asks, tawky gives a different canon origin story. Billy has no idea which is true.
Billy's parents died accidentally freeing Adam on their expedition. Probably crushed by rubble :(. The wizard is the only one who knows and really isn't inclined to share, and Adam either hasn't connected the dots or never really noticed they were there.
Cap and Billy love each other, regardless of whatever version their whole thing is. They're the only reason the other remembers self care and that kind of self love, even if he's not sure he deserves it, makes a world of difference with how they portray themselves to the world.
Cap doesn't need to breathe to speak but he never remembers that and has repeatedly choked in water and space. Superman empathises but tries not to find it funny after the third time it happens.
Billy has showed the wizard memes.
The wizard internally refers to Billy as the 'sassy, lost child'. He has a pointy hat like any good wizard but refuses to wear one since Billy keeps asking him to, pretty please.
Cap once won an arm wrestle with superman by pretending to lick his hand. He didn't. Billy would have.
Cap marvel CANONICALLY bites but after the first time he regulates his jaw strength. Thankfully it was Black Adam so no one lost a hand. He had him in a headlock so who's fault was it really.
Ebenezer doesn't have a strong opinion on cap marvel either way. Billy thinks that's almost worse.
The living lightning isn't lightning. It was around before lightning. It is living, however. It is that 'living' that forms the main consciousness of the Champion form, in this case Marvel. Its not sentient or sapient itself, that's the vessel, but it is the building blocks of it.
In dc (again no idea if this has any basis in canon) magic is the fifth state of matter, above plasma. Yes this interferes incredibly with quantum physics and theoretical science. No the magic users don't know how it works either. No they will not help you they have their own research (into the exact same thing) to do.
If the Rock is obliterated cap marvel will die (along with pretty much everything else but irrelevant). However, if he manages to save the brazier, he will continue on. Magic as a whole deal won't be very happy and aeons of magical knowledge and history and artifacts will be lost, but cap will live and can rebuild from the ashes. The brazier is Heavy but enough super strength can move it if you don't mind bringing a chunk of floor. And the rock is so weakened it's literally falling apart but those are the right circumstances anyway so.
#We should be able to put multiple read mores in posts#I had more headcanons than I thought#If anyone has anything proving/disproving any of these PLEASE let me know :D#I'm still pretty new here and I don't know a lot of the canon material#Wish we could get post checks from others without having to @ them I'm not RUDE#but fr if anyone wants to whip out their reading glasses and comically large Well Actually book of references please do#dc comics#captain marvel#dc captain marvel#billy batson#shazam#headcanon#long post#I REPEAT LONG POST#also blanket permission for anyone to use these if they give you Ideas#I really want to write a fic where the jl (mainly superbat) help cap with saving the Rock and fail#But at the last second he swaps to desperately trying to rescue the brazier but his powers failing and he can't move it he's in tears#And superman has to haul it out while someone else carries an inconsolable cap#And when they get outside to safety they're like 'so what's the deal with this over literally everything else in there' and poor Billy just#Has had possibly the worst day of his life his powers fading just tries to scrabble into the brazier (he needs help and its uncomfortable#for everyone involved) and curls up like goodNIGHT and pulls his cape over his shoulders which turns to stone and he dissolves#To sleep and recharge and now the jl is stuck with the source of all magic which is big and heavy and has their unconscious teammate in.#And also it can't leave earth so no watchtower to put it! Very angst hurt comfort identity reveal methinks. HEA ofc#So.... Yeah

MEETING THE PARENTS
Constantine was freaking out in the watchtower meeting room. “Why didn’t you tell me sooner that your kids are dating a Denizen of the Infinite Realms?!”
“What is a Denizen of the Infinite Realms?” “Do you mean Ellie? She’s a sweet girl.” Both Batman and Superman spoke at the same time.
“Ellie? Is that her name or her Name?” Constantine asked, leaning forward.
“That…you just said the same thing twice.” Flash said in confusion.
“No. A name is what you call someone. In the Infinite Realms spirits Name is significant. It has Power.”
“That reminds me of my grandma’s old stories about fairies and Fae folk.” Green Lantern leaned back in his seat. “All that ‘giving your true name’ stuff
“Your grandma told you stories about fairies?” Flash raised an eyebrow.
“She was a hippy.” He shrugged. His cheeks just faintly pink.
“Are these beings Fae?” Flash turned back to Constantine.
“They are both Fae and Spirits. Sorta. The word is interchangeable depending on the specific being you are referring to.” Zatanna said. “For example, Banshees are a type of fae that originate from spirits or ghosts. Banshees can be apart of the Infinite Realms. The Realms are the bridge between our reality and any ‘fae realm’ that exists.” John looked exhausted, despite his leg bouncing agitatedly under the table.
“Can we refocus?” Wonder Woman interrupted. “Constantine. What are the Infinite Realms?”
“It’s the glue that both connects and divides the different plans of reality.”
“You’re talking multiverse.” Green Lantern said looking more alert.
“Not just the Multiverse, mate. Everything and Everyone who dies in Any planet, galaxy, or Universe must pass through the Infinite Realms to reach their afterlife. Which all exist under the command of the Ancient High King.”
“Hades?” Wonder Woman asked.
“Saint Peter?” Green Lantern asked.
“Or the Devil?” Flash guessed.
Constantine shook his head again. “No. All of those beings hold Dominion over a single kind of afterlife. Think of them like Lords to a King.”
“Who is the High King?” Batman had his hands posed to record the information on a monitor.
“Well, it used to be The Tyrant King. Pariah Dark, The Imperator of Fear. The Father of Despair. The Great Conqueror of the Dead, Undying, and Never Born. During the height of his rule there was a gathering of Seven Ancients who with all of their power were only able to bind him to sleep. A sleep that lasted for centuries. Unfortunately, he woke up and began to take vengeance on the whole realm. Until another spirit rose up to challenge him. A single Ancient who defeated Pariah Dark in single combat and with his victory, claimed the Throne of the Infinite Realms.” Constantine said all of this in a bored tone. Like he was retelling the drama of a soap opera he watched a hundred times.
“So the Last King was a Tyrant. What about the new guy?” Superman asked curiously.
“All I know are his Epitaphs. The Great Ancient of Balance. The Patriarch of the Wilds. Eminence of Justice. The High King Phantom.” Constantine gruffed.
“When did the transfer of power happen?” Batman asked.
“Time isn’t the same between here and the Infinite. To us it was less than five years ago. In the Infinite it could have been centuries or even millennia ago.” Zatanna shrugged. “Don’t get too strung up on timelines. The Infinite Realm exists outside of typical timelines.”
Superman shrugged. “Well, Ellie wants us to meet her parents. And Three Denizens of the Infinite Realms want to meet Robin and Superboy. Along with Batman and Superman.”
“Four.” Batman corrected.
Green Lantern looked confused. “Four?”
“Yeah. Ellie, her Dad, her Mom, and her Pops.” Superman nodded as he remembered the specifics of what Superboy had said.
Flash took a sip of a mango smoothie he hadn’t had a second ago. “Are her parents divorced?” He asked around the straw.
Green Lantern smirked nonchalantly. “‘Can spirits divorce?’ Sounds like a joke start up.”
Superman shrugged nonchalantly, “They’re a polycule. She’s got two dads and a mom according to the boys.”
“Oh.”
Constantine flicked open his pack of smokes and put one between his lips. Leaving it unlit at Batman’s glare, “Don’t expect a traditional relationship dynamic from the Infinite Realms, Mate.”
Batman tapped relentlessly on, “What are the Denizens of the Infinite Realms like?”
Zatanna hesitated, “They are...It’s hard to explain. They are emotions, obsessions, ideals, even aspects of reality given physical form. Like…gods who don’t need worship to increase their power and influence. Some are technically ghosts; the reflected personalities of former mortals from different realities, but that’s more irregular than what you might expect.” She winced at the withering stare she felt coming from Batman at her vague explanation.
Wonder Woman turned to Superman “So, what about Ellie? What kind of girl is she?”
Constantine spoke up before Superman could start, “More importantly, what kind of spirit is she?”
“Superboy said she was something called a Mirror-Born but he didn’t know what that meant.” Superman admitted. “I didn’t know either when he asked me.”
“A mirror-born? What is that?” Zatanna looked over at Constantine in confusion.
The British man shook his head, “I have no bloody idea, love. I’ve never heard of the phrase. But spirits and Others tend to be a mix of extremely literal and annoying obtuse with their terminology.” Constantine chewed on the unlit cigarette in his mouth thoughtfully. “Mirror…mirror…a reflection… A likeness. An afterimage maybe?” Constantine began to mutter to himself as he scribbled on a scrap of paper from his coat. “I’ll look up some things at the house later. Maybe see what I can dig up.”
Wonder Woman then took the lead. “In the meantime, let us discuss the logistics of meeting with these Infinite Realm Denizens.”
Zatanna took over the meeting. “Thankfully, the barrier dividing us from the Infinite Realm is hard to transverse. Natural portals are the main way they come over. Natural portals are random and dissipate quickly. Some can track and anticipate the portals appearance and cross over temporarily.”
“This ‘Ellie’ is probably a weaker but clever spirit who figured out how to access this world with some degree of certainty.” Constantine flicked the chewed up cigarette away and pulled out a new one. “But don’t underestimate her. ‘Weaker’ does not mean weak. Infinite Realms beings thrive on battle. Fighting is their main form of communication.”
“Fighting?” Batman grunted, fingers pausing in their typing.
“Everything from play fighting, friendly sparing, to actual ‘trying to end your existence’ fighting. These beings love fighting so much it’s practically coded into them.” Zatanna shrugged. “It’s as common to them as shaking hands is to us.”
“So, her parents will likely want to spar. To gauge Robin and Superboys’ worthiness for their child.” Constantine sighed. “Like a Fae version of the shovel talk. Heads or tails on if they actually try to bury them though.”
“Probably best to have the meeting here on the Watchtower or somewhere similarly isolated than on earth. Safer.” Superman glanced out of the watchtower windows. “Probably not here though.”
Wonder Woman nodded, “Noted. Should there be others included in the meeting?”
“Yes. I’d say so. Obviously, the boy, Superman, and Batman. Constantine and myself.” Zatanna listed out the individuals, counting on her fingers.
“Pass.” Constantine grunted.
Zatanna glared up at him. “No passing. If we need to restrain them, both of us might be needed. Should we invite Captain Marvel too?”
The Laughing Magician pulled out another cigarette.

"DO BETTER!" Says Now Televised Fanboy
He, Dash Baxter is a Phan-Stan!! It's kinda his thing. See, he's a fancy ass talk show host now. Married Paulie, moved out of Amity, actually DID something with his life. His parents? Did not approve. Long n short of it? He got kicked out.
Paulie's parents were PISSED.
Retaliated by giving him all the help he needed getting EVERY scholarship he qualified for. He went to a really nice college. Missed his girlfriend like mad. But she was off in Metropolis, terrifying weaker men. Conquering the fashion scene.
And SOMEHOW? Thanks to that long talk he had with Phantom (*incoherent fanboy gibbering noises* SO COOL!) he's worked to be... more of a LEADER, you know? Less of an asshole. Cause he's popular. People copy him. He can't be an asshole.
So, somehow, when he's punching out some try-hard that thinks he's hot shit for bullying a Nerd? He and the nerd get talking, right? Cause the guy got his glasses completely fucked up. And it's what Phantom would do.
But GET THIS? Guy's never HEARD of Phantom! Is super curious, cause he runs a small time Hero's show on the web. And, Dude? Is it your LUCKY DAY! Cause you just met THE number 1 fan of Phantom, hands down!! He makes his VERY spirited case, about why Phantom is THE best Hero to ever have lived. And this guy?
Entranced.
In AWE.
Just straight up BEGS him to join his show. Cause apparently? He was BORN for it. Which? Yeah. He HAS been giving speechs to the team for YEARS now. And Talking at fan meet ups. Leading fan meet ups. Hosting parties... actually, now that he thinks about it? He DOES do a lot of public speaking? Huh.
But still, he's about to say "no", when?
Dude mentions? He'll get to talk about Phantom.
SOLD!
It. Blows. Up. Absolutely EVERYONE is in love with his pretty face, hot bod, and STRONG opinions. But they ALSO have no idea who Phantom is! Paulie! This is CRIMINAL! Horrifying! What is going ON!?
Some bullshit information black out, apparently. At least according to her... friendly Nemesis? The Goth Dweeb. Who's engaged, apparently? So good for her. Unsurprisingly, it's too the OTHER Dweebs, but still. Bout time she started planning to drag them to a court house. She's the only one with any spine in that group! If she waited for THEM to propose?
Not even as Ghosts, man.
They'd get distracted by shiny nerd shit and whimp out.
Still... a world where NO ONE knows how Awesome, Phantom is? Not on HIS watch!
So he works it in. To every segment. It becomes "his thing". Oh? Super man saved a kitten from a tree? Cute. Well PHANTOM saved a bus full of Ghost Puppies from a shady, rouge, Goverment agency. Do BETTER, Superman!
The Flash, who is a cheap knock-off and stole his name, took down an Ice Villian? Adorable! PHANTOM stopped a Rouge WINTER SPIRIT with the help of YETI WARRIORS then assisted in giving FREE medical care for anyone who needed it! Here's a picture of him making GHOST ICE SNOWMEN for small children! Do BETTER, Knock-off!
What's THAT you say? Wonder Woman fought a GOD in down town paris?
Excellent work Wonder Woman. Flawless as always. But YOU, god-boy, are a disappointment! All that power! And WHAT do you use it for? Are you even supposed to BE here?? PHANTOM uses his power to HELP people! Is awesome and knows TONS of better gods! You're just salty you didn't make the cut!
DO BETTER!
And obviously? No one believes him. There's no record of this "Phantom" guy. The pictures look fantastical and vaguely glitchy/glowy. Not quite right. They GOTTA be photo shopped. Manipulated somehow. But? As a shtick? A fake "perfect Superhero" is kinda funny and unique.
And it's one hell of Fake Hero!
A Dead Champion? Who fights gods and monsters? Rouge agencies? Sassy and tragic? With a mysterious past? Pretty cool! There's even an Offical Comic from some guy that went to the same high-school as Baxter!
Of course, as Baxter get more and more popular? The "meme" hero, Phantom, get more well known? People get more interested in where Dash grew up. You know, just a bored Google. Maybe see if the hero was based off a local legend or something. But... huh...
The Town website?
Weirdly? Sanitized.
Like... like aggressively sanitized. All smooth edges and no details. Very "move along, citizen". Ha ha... it's part of the joke right? They get it! They'll just look up local restaurants or som-....
Wait...
Hey, guuuuys?
Are you finding ANYTHING?
And! Nothing. And I do mean NOTHING! Triggers the "oh? Secrets???" Instincts of a Hacker, like finding a hard blank wall of "KEEP OUT". Especially when it's somewhere it rightfully shouldn't BE.
All it would take? Is ONE person, of decent skills and an account on Certain Forums, getting bored enough to Google the Dude On The TV(TM)? For the GIW's lil walls to come crashing down. Because yeah, you can stop ONE hacker. Even two. Probably five or six.
But how about thousands?
Hundreds of thousands?
From every time zone. Competing. Just to see what you HAVE and don't want them to see. Maybe they do something with it, maybe they don't. But fuck it, you're being RUDE and now they're CURIOUS. And THEN? Oh. Oh holy shit.
Not a meme.
Very real.
Not a joke.
The walls come crumbling down, down, down. Ripped apart by hundreds of hands. Emails sent to every sort of agency. The JLU line inundated with emergency tips. Not a joke. Not A Joke. Holy Shit, IT WASN'T A JOKE!
Phantom is REAL!
And there, on TV, stands the Man. The signal FINALLY breaching containment. Fighting off the invading God of the week. Built like statue, hair like an aurora borealis of white fire held almost delicately in place by a CROWN of ice, a suit made of void and starlight. Inhuman. Beyond human.
Here to help.
A laugh that crackles like ice and the snap of winter, rolls through the air like coming storms, rich and somehow warm. A smile that bares teeth, yet turns so KIND when he looks upon humanity, as though we are precious and worth fighting for. A living star.
A... a once living star.
And in the center of it all? Wearing his BESPOKE, custome made, Number 1 Phan full body outfit? That's right. Dash Baxter. Ha! You fuckers doubted him! Behold his blorbo and WEEP, ya fuckin casuals! The BESTEST of boys! The FINEST of Heros! Superman? Could NEVER.
And now? The weather!

Danny's parents take him on vacation to Metropolis.
They go to talk to some guy named Lex Luthor, but Danny isn't worried. He already tampered with literally everything they'd show to Luthor, rewrote the formulae used on the blueprints so that they made no sense, and Jazz was staying with them to play the straightman to their insanity and convince Luthor they weren't worth paying attention to.
Which left Danny with spending money and free reign of Metropolis.
So he went to a hot dog vendor, because who wouldn't want a hot dog that didn't try to fight back?
Then there's this...puff of air. Right behind him. Right as the vendor is giving him his hot dog. And it feels like someone, something, strong.
So in front of Metropolitans, CCTV, the vendor, and the gods, Danny reacts on instinct; he whips around and decks the threat.
Right through a wall.
Yeah.
Danny Fenton, nerd and bully-bait, just punched Superman through a wall.
In front of E V E R Y O N E.
Superman comes up from it, actually holding a hand against his ribs, very confused. He'd just been about to get a hot dog, what villain had attacked-?
Oh.
Oh, it's that scared, terrified looking teenager on the verge of hyperventilating. That's who punched him.
So this was clearly an accident, then. No one would do that deliberately and look so horrified.
Superman straightens and holds out his hands in a sign of peace-
Then the kid disappears out of thin air.
Across the city, Lex Luthor watches his phone, expressionless, as a meta with the power to suckerpunch Superman disappears from the feeds.
Facial recognition already made him as the son of the very buffoons in front of him, who successfully managed to waste two whole hours of his time.
Well.
They can pay it back by being involuntary guests while he has a little chat with dear Daniel.

Edit: thank you @tetranationaltortoise for pointing out that the Red Spot is on Jupiter instead of Saturn! Fixed it! You’re not nickpicking, you’re providing very appreciated constructive criticism (and a basic fact check I should have done lol) <3
Danny, as usual, hadn’t meant to become the local cryptid. Local being extremely relative, as his locality in this instance is… space.
He just wanted to have some relaxation time. He just wanted to do some homework, chill on Mars or something, and then call it a day.
This hero business was taxing and Danny took his breaks when he could. Take that, work-life balance! Just kidding, Danny had no work-life balance. His life is a mess and he's overworked.
What was it that Superman had said in that one interview?
“Evil never sleeps."
Apparently, that also meant Danny never slept either.
“Hrk!” Danny snorted awake, looking around wildly at the vast expanse of space to see what woke him.
….
Yeah, that’ll do it.
In front of him, merrily floating through space, is the battered remains of what used to be an asteroid and a mecha that’s a weird combination of Gotham’s vigilante hero, Batman, and Metropolis’ Golden Boy, Superman.
The vibrations of the collision had shaken Danny awake.
Danny got up, baffled as hell and half asleep still. He floated to the giant Bat insignia tumbling around, inching closer as he saw the- oh hell, that’s so cool, it’s a plane!- cockpit and the passed out hero inside of it. Danny clicked his tongue, the sound swallowed by the lack of air.
He shoved the plane closer to earth, passing it to a bewildered (and both beat up and stressed out) Superman, who did a double take at the glowing green boy chucking him the Toy-maker Batplane.
Danny had waved, blinked out of visibility, and had gone back to his nap.
After phasing inside the plane and nabbing a batarang from Batman’s pouch, that is. Danny will consider it payment for the clean up service he’d unwittingly signed himself up for.
And so went the first encounter.
——
The second time he met the so called Big Leagues, Danny had just come back from fighting Dan. He wanted a break, dammit, and if staring at Saturn’s gorgeous rings and gaseous formations helped him sleep better, then that’s what’s going to happen.
Then, a similarly green glowing Green Lantern “landed” to where he was floating curled up. Danny knew about Lanterns. Their council often tried to meddle in his court.
“Hello,” the Ring projected its Lantern’s words to Danny’s head. Danny tilted his head without looking at the Lantern. “I’m John Stewart. What are you doing out here, kid?”
Danny thought this guy had a nice, soothing voice. Powerful, as Latern tended to be, but infinitely kind.
Danny decided that this one wasn’t immediately on his shit list.
“Phantom.” He said, and the Lantern asked him to repeat it as the glow of his ring enveloped the halfa.
“Phantom. Are you lost, Phantom?”
“No, just dead.”
John Stewart paused. “…Dead?”
“I’m a ghost,” Danny raised his hands and phased it through the Lantern’s arm.
“Ah,” the man said, flustered. “Right. So… you’re just…”
“Hanging out.” As he talked to the Lantern, Danny had a rather amusing idea. He rotated himself- turned- towards Jupiter and pointed to the Red Spot. “That’s actually my grave.”
John Stewart paused. “I’m sorry…?”
“My grave. Don’t disturb it. It’s rude,” Danny lied through his sharp ghost teeth. “Your council disturbed my grave the last time they stopped by and it took ages to get it back right.”
The green Lantern shield enveloping Danny flickered as John Stewart went through the five stages of grief. To be fair, the council had last visited this solar system... a couple thousand years ago, so John was no doubt rapidly doing some mental math regarding Danny's age.
“The council disturbed your grave…?”
“Not that they knew it, those pretentious weirdos.” Danny pretended to be offended, just to see the struggle on John’s face as he debated defending the council or telling a dead child their grave didn’t matter. Because Stewart was a hero, he went with the latter.
“I see. I am sorry, on their behalf.”
“Eh, whatever. Just make sure they don’t do it again. So… what can that ring do?”
——
"Hi. Could you not litter in space, please?"
Wonder Woman whirled around, sword out and pointed at Danny.
"A... child? Who are you, child?"
"I'm not a child-! You know what, it doesn't even matter. See that?" Danny waved at the pieces of shattered meteor and smashed up alien tech floating outside of the watch tower. "Littering is not cool."
"How did you get in here?"
"I'm Phantom. This is kind of my neighborhood." Danny let his mouth run, sleep deprived and exhausted. "I'm dead, that's how I got in here. Could you not litter in my backyard, please?"
He had better things to do than cleaning after full grown adult heroes.
"Oh, you are the ghost child Lantern mentioned! I see! My apologies, the clean up will be starting in a bit." Wonder Woman slid her sword back into its sheath.
"Great. Nice meeting you. I'll stick around to make sure you young whipper snappers clean up properly."
With that, Danny sunk into the floor. After a moment's deliberation, he decided to take a nap in the floor vent.
——
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
Danny jolted awake once more. Ancients, like mentor, like mentee. Robin stared at him, awkwardly wriggling through the floor vents.
"I'm taking a nap here," Danny grumbled. "What are you doing in the vents?"
"Me? What are you doing in the vents? I'm allowed in here!"
"Wonder Woman knows I'm here," Danny replied. She knows... probably? "I'm Phantom."
"Robin."
"So... what are you doing?"
"Knowledge is power," Robin intoned, clearly imitating the Bat.
Danny stared.
"... You're stalking the JL?"
"Information gathering!"
"Stalking," Danny concluded, ignoring Robin's grumble. "Yeah, okay. If you need help, let me know, I guess."
"I don't need help." Robin paused, tilting his head to the side like a particularly curious bird. "Unless you're up for some pranks? Green Lantern's been getting on my nerves lately."
Danny frowned at him. "I like John Stewart."
"You've met- no, not him, the other one."
"Oh. What do I get out of it?"
Robin reached into his belt pouch and pulled out... a bag of marshmallows? How the hell did that-? Ah, right, hammerspace.
"Oh, wait, can you eat this?"
"I'm dead, not tasteless. I love marshmallows, hand it over. I'll help out."
"Deal."
——
"I swear to god, Spooky, there's something in the walls. It's even creepier than you!"
Batman grunted. He'd stop Robin if he went too far and it started affecting Lantern's abilities on the field, but as far as the Dark Knight was concerned, the Green Lantern had it coming. Robins were vindictive on a good day. If Hal hadn't learned that from Dick, then Jason's retaliation was well deserved.
"Oh, maybe it's the ghost!" Hal said, looking around with his ring glowing.
"I thought John said he was a godling?" Diana polished her sword as she looked on in amusement.
"The boy." Batman grunted. "Not human, his pointed ears and green skin is proof of that. Did J'onn say anything?"
"Not yet."
"Whatever he is, he saved Batman. He's welcome in the Tower," Superman tilted back as his hearing picked up on Robin's and Phantom's snickering.

DPXDC We've been trying to reach you
Danny used his Overshadowing power to break Superman out of mind control ONE TIME, and now every hero team on the planet (plus Lex Luthor) is trying to get him on their payroll. Every time he opens his email or mail box he's assaulted by job offers from some of the most powerful people on the planet like they're trying to contact him about his car's extended warranty.
They don't even know he can kick ass either, they're just under the assumption that he's some random civilian with the most useful meta ability ever.

Danny and Sam were enjoying a date out in Metropolis when it happened. Superman had been mind controlled again, and was taking hostages. Neither Danny or Sam were worried, and were amongst the only people not running for their lives. They just sat outside the cafe, sipping their coffee and eating their food. As the ground began to rumble, they simply picked their coffee cups and held them in their hands to not spill the coffee within.
“So then Tucker says, ‘not my pda!’” Danny finishes, laughing along with Sam.
“I swear, he loves that thing more than life!” Sam laughs.
That’s when they heard it. The sunlight outside got a shade darker, and Sam and Danny turned to see the outline of Superman hovering in front of them. They both glanced at him, then at each other.
With a loud sigh, Danny out down his coffee. “Can you move a little to the left, Superman? You’re blocking the sunlight.”
Without warning, Superman reached out and grabbed Sam, who was closer to him. Sam grunted out in surprise as she was lifted into the air by her neck. Danny looked unconcerned.
“Seriously?” Sam asked, gesturing at Superman. “You’re going to ruin my necklace.”
“I don’t think he’s worried about your necklace, babe.” Danny leaned against the table, watching the encounter.
“Well, he should be!” Sam exclaimed. “I paid good money for it!”
He rolled his eyes. “You’re impossible. We can just buy you another one once he stops choking you.”
“It’s not really like he’s going to get anywhere.” Sam agreed.
Superman seemed to take offense to this. His grip on her neck tightened, and while Sam’s face did flush red, she wasn’t gasping for breath or having her neck snapped.
“You remember the other day when I said Black Canary could strangle me and I’d be happy about it?” Sam asked, her voice a little breathless.
“Yeah?” He raised an eyebrow, wondering where she as going with this.
“I like Superman choking me better. He would probably be better at it than a human.” Sam grinned at the Kryptonian.
“Shouldn’t he at least buy you dinner first?” He asked.
“You know, most boyfriends don’t talk so freely about their girlfriends being choked by other guys.” Sam pointed out.
“You’re right.” He agreed.
“But this is getting kinda weird. Superman, do you mind letting me go? This isn’t really working for me anymore.” Sam pointed to the ground.
A large crowd had started to gather around them. Some looked horrified, while others looked curious. Curious at Sam, who hadn’t died yet. Superman made no moves to remove his hand from her neck.
“Hey babe?” Sam asked.
“Yeah?” He took another sip of his coffee, completely calm.
“Can you record me beating up Superman so we can send it to your sister?”
“Why her?” He tilted his head.
“Little sister.” Sam clarified.
“Ohh. Yeah, sure, she’d love that.” He took a second and pulled his phone out—a latest WayneTech model. “Go for it.”
Sam wrapped her hand around Superman’s, and with an audible snap, broke his hand and pulled it off of her neck. Superman gasped in pain, but Sam wasn’t done yet. She proceeded to judo flip him and send him crashing to the Earth while she continued to hover in the air. She clapped her hands together and cracked her knuckles.
“This is going to be fun.” Sam grinned wickedly.
“You know, I could just touch his temple and cure him of the mind control.” He offered, but continued to record Sam.
“Don’t spoil my fun.” Sam flipped him off, then dove towards the ground. She kicked Superman in the nuts, then kneed him in the face hard enough to draw blood. She punched him a few more times until he fell unconscious.
Danny got up and stopped the recording. He walked over to his girlfriend and looked at the unconscious Superman. He bent over the man and pressed a finger to the man’s temple. Blue power briefly illuminated Superman’s skin, but it was gone as quickly as it came.
“You’re going to cause trouble for us.” He chastised her.
“But you love it.” Sam took his hand. “Let’s go home.”
She flew into the air first, but Danny took another second to dig into his wallet, leaving a $20 bill on the table they were sitting at. He then flew into the air after Sam, chasing her all the way to Amity Park.
—————
Six months later, and Danny and Sam were on another outing in Gotham when they were interrupted by Batman. They pulled a chair up for him, and eventually the man took it. They ordered him a coffee and a bagel.
“So, what brings you here?” Danny asked casually.
“How did you defeat Superman?” Batman asked, straight to the point.
“Huh?” Sam asked. “When did we do that?”
“Six months ago.” Batman responded.
“Ohh, wait— remember the day we went to Metropolis?” He hummed.
“Oh. I already forgot about that. Superman’s not pressing charges, is he?” Sam asked. “I do have a good lawyer, he’s just an asshole to deal with.”
“No, he is not pressing charges.” Batman grunted.
“Then what’s this about?” He asked, tilting his head.
Without answering, Batman opened a box on his lap. At once, the kryptonite took effect of both Sam and Danny, making their skin turn green and to writhe in pain. Just as Danny was about to take the box from Batman by force, the man had closed the lid and tucked it away.
“I had my suspicions.” Batman said, as if that explained everything. “So how did two more Kryptonians land on Earth when the planet was destroyed thirty years ago?”

Ellie isn't allowed to travel alone Anymore
So! Ellie was raised in a Lab by a Genuine Bonefied Supervillain. She was raised to be a Villain as well, so her Moral Conpass is a little skewed.
Sure she *mostly* knows what is right and wrong from Danny's quick lesson before her Adventure around the Country, but she still has trouble separating what is moral and what is not from time to time.
So it's really no surprise that the moment she left Amity Park she somehow ended up being branded a Villain.
Look, it's not her fault she didn't know not to attack the flying guy in Blue Spandex when he approached her! One of Danny's biggest warnings shen she left had been Stranger Danger! She did what any 12 year old girl would have done when approached by a strange Older Man!
Its also not her fault that her powers (being Magic based), managed to affect him! She didn't even use her full power! (She maybe should have kicked him in a different place tho...she hopes he wasn't planning on having kids...)
So she did what her instincts told her to do. She took any money he had on him and ran the hell away!
It wasn't until she was 2 cities over when she saw a newspaper titled, "Little Villain Girl Mugs Superman in Broad Daylight!", that she realized she may have screwed up...
After that, she really had no excuse.
She knew that she probably shouldn't have kept Mugging the Heroes who approached her, but she wasn't a Fenton for nothing! Her Family Motto had always been "Commit to the Bit", and she was gonna stick to it!
So when the Fast Red Guy tried to tie her up, she phased off all his clothes and took off with his money (not the mask, she knew enough not to take that off)
And when the Grumpy Bat Guy tried to corner her with some weird papers he pulled out of his Belt, she just distracted him while her clone picked his pockets and made off with the wheels of his Car. That one made her a pretty penny!
The flying Green Guy was fun, his attacks were just throwing Ghost Candy (pure willpower) at her. He did stop doing do after she nicked his fancy talking Ring however, but it was fun while it lasted
Then she came across a Orange Fish Guy, and he actually seemed nice enough. But she was committing to the Bit, so she took the fancy Trident he had and sold it at a nearby Pawn Shop for some extra cash. He would probably be able to find it, that's why she chose a nearby location.
All in All, her Adventure had been really fun! So she decided to visit Amity Park again to tell Danny all about it!
...
Aquaman walked into the meeting room of the Watchtower, a very frustrated look in his eye.
Barry spoke up first, "Oh! I know that look in your eye! She got to you too didn't she!"
Arthur just glared at Barry for a second before walking over to his Chair, sitting down with a thump. "She is certainly a tricky child."
"What did she take this time?" Clark asked.
"..mttrident..." Arthur grumbled out quickly.
"What was that?" Asked Barry with a twinkle in his eye. He heard it, but he wanted everybody else to know.
"She took my trident, Okay!" Arthur shouted out.
"I feel ya man." Responded Hal, "At least with me she threw it back at me when she realized it wasn't making 'candy' anymore. What did she do with yours?"
"She sold it at a Pawn Shop!" Arthus yelled in frustration, "She managed to steal one of the most Powerful Magical Weapons in the world, the Symbol of the entire Atalantean Royal Bloodline, and she sold it and a Pawn Shop!"
"...how much did she get for it?" Asked Hal.
At this, Aquaman just collapsed to the table and groaned.
...
Alternatively she could have just kept all those things, and gradually built up a collection of all the JLA's most treasured possessions.
She has Supermans Wallet, not very important to him but it was her first mugging
She has Batmans Utility Belt (trackers removed) along with his Tires
She took Flashes Costume Ring (his civilian clothes still stuck inside)
She took Green Lanterns ring as well, but unfortunately it managed to escape after a few days. It was feisty.
And her crowning Jewel is the Trident she took from Aquaman.
(She avoided WW, cause she likes her too much to steal anything from her)

DC x DP Fic idea: The Royal Consort
Wesley Weston runs a blog after getting over his desire to expose Danny's secret- primarily due to no one believing him- and no one pays attention to it since almost all of Casper high school has one too.
The difference between the hundreds of other blogs is that one of his pictures of Phantom is clear. A perfectly uncorrected image of the famous ghost, whereas nearly all other pictures are blurry due to ghosts disrupting cameras. Even Wes isn't sure how he managed to capture him so well.
Another difference between his blog and others is that one of his followers happens to be John Constantine, who followed the kid a long time ago due to the fanfiction of the Bats and found them hilarious.
John opens his phone app, expecting a new chapter to the Bruce Wayne/Superman fic, and spits out his tea upon seeing the High King of the Dead casually in the human world. Horrified that the King has not been appropriately welcomed- which could lead to a war that the humans would never win- he calls an emergency Justice League and Justice League Dark meeting.
It didn't help that they had allowed a county to pass the anti-ecto laws, which ruined any attempt to appease the Ghost King once the news broke to the public. The League still worried about a declaration of war even after they demolished the laws and the United Nations had the States apologize on humans' behalf.
They quickly discover High King Phantom has been visiting Earth for almost three years. Before his coronation, Phantom had not been outside the Infinite Realms very often though he has appeared throughout history. Cave drawings date back thousands of years before the first ancient Egyptians, but he's visits are few and short.
Life would naturally send him back to the Realms because he had too much power and ectoplasm. After taking the throne, his powers only grew, which meant someone had to summon him as the only way for him to stay on Earth longer than an hour.
Now as King, he appeared only within the small town of Amity Park daily. Why?
John sighs. "He has an anchor. Someone is tying him to this plane. Like the helmet for Nabu, which allows Doctor Fate to exist here without being launched back to the Infinite Releams, Phantom has bonded himself. And I know who that is"
He pulls up a class photo on Weston's blog and points to a boy wearing a particular necklace.
"Danny Fenton is wearing the official Royal Consort of the Infinite Realms symbol and has been since he was fourteen. Phantom's husband may be our only hope to salvage the terrible mess the USA's bloody GIW placed the rest of us in."
Danny loved the necklace he found in Pariah Dark's old haunt. He inherited Pariah's haunt and everything inside once he was crowned and hasn't taken it off since. He didn't think it would be an issue. It's not like it would out his secret to his parents or anyone else since it was in Ghost Speech. Even he didn't know what it said.
Then one morning he comes down for breakfast only to have the most important members of the Justice League sitting in his living room waiting to greet him.
Desperate to keep his halfa status a secret, Danny must convince the entire world watching him, that he's just a human who scandalously eloped at age fourteen with one of the strongest beings in the mulitverse.
Jack's horrified "We were shooting my son-in-law this whole time" became a meme that has trended for months.

The JL are terrified of jazz
So jazz started working in Arkham and immediately got a reputation
She was patient and kind and gave answers to problems people didn't know they had and was just the best psychologist Arkham had ever seen
She also got a reputation for not being messed with after she used the Fenton-anti-creep-stick on Scarecrow after he tried to attack her
At first, Batman was suspicious but after all the background checks and passed all evaluations so he left her be with a light monitoring
The problems started when the JL needed a physiologist and Batman recommended Miss Fenton
At first, Batman showed up asking for her to leave Arkham and work for the JL, he thought she'd jump at the chance to get away from Arkham...
He was wrong...
After a few months, the patients at Arkham were getting better but the JL need a good phycologist so Batman is still pestering jazz about it
Batman is going full paranoid stalker mode, harassing her at work and constantly sending requests for her to transfer to the JL
The only reason she's not been forced to quit is that everyone (guards, prisoners fellow psychiatrists everyone) in Arkham would rather fight than loose her
But things got to a whole other level when Jazz gets a call from her brother asking why a vigilante is calling him and asking him to convince her to transfer
When she sees him next she goes off, yelling and screaming at him for his behaviour and actions
There's a full 20 minutes of jazz just physio-analysing him, calling him obsessive, paranoid, requires closure, OCD, ODD, inconsiderate, and a whole lot of less friendly things
Everyone is scared because Miss Fenton has never even cursed at anything and now she's going off on THE BATMAN
Their terrified
Someone records it and goes viral everyone in the JL see it and thought it was funny...
Until she requested a meeting with them...
They get in the room and see Miss Fenton, her younger brother and a lawyer
Jazz then proceed to yell at every member of the JL, she called all of them enabling lazy, irresponsible children pretending to be adults
Superman tries to get her to be quiet so he can talk and her brother fucking hits him with a tazer! The scary part is he couldn't use his powers after ("don't worry you'll get your powers back in 24 hours, this is just so you'll listen")
So Jazz spends the next 10 minutes calling all the JL out on allllll their BS
After she's done her lawyer gets up and hands out pieces of paper to everyone
:what are these
: a restraining order

Red Yummy
Based on the post by @spacedace. Basically it's a joke that Red Robin (the restaurant with the little jingle: Reeed Robin: Yummm.) Isn't a thing in the DC world but is one in the Phantom world.
The rip in the multiverse was an issue the Justice League was not at all prepared for. Sure they had incidents where visitors from an alternate universe have crossed over to their side or they have gone to one. There are times when they meet doubles of themselves, both as allies and as enemies.
They have been to different Earths, with different histories, different countries, and that one particular time, even different beings that ruled the planet.
It's always been an adventure where at the end of it, the doorway to both worlds is sealed shut, with little or no chance of it opening again. The friends they made. The sights they saw. All gone. Fine. Over.
That was, until a villain from a different world, attempted to attack Clockwork's Tower. The Justice League was not aware of Clockwork- Master of Time, Weaver of Realms, The Concept of Between- but they noticed that he had been attacked when other worlds started spilling into theirs.
People were falling through glowing green portals, stumbling into buildings that weren't there before. People who were just going out for walks would be zapped away and replaced with their confused counterparts.
Parts of the sky glitch into others, replacing the soft blue with brown or black, little patches scattering around the world. Cities vanish for a few hours, sometimes replaced by others sometimes not, and animals never before seen running amok.
It was a mess.
The League did everything it could to help, but it was hard to stretch their reach to the help then world when all reality was being thrown into a mixer and set on chaos.
A lot like busted pipes, the Leaugers would run to cover a leaking pipe only to have the water build up in another and burst there and then scramble to cover that one before the rising water drowned them all.
Thankfully the Justice League Dark was able to use magic and find the source of the leak. The Infinite Realms known as the web that linked all universes, are usually only accessible by the dead, or in Constantine's case having friends in high places.
"Ghost Writer owes me a favor," Constantine said while the rest of the Leauge watched a flouting green book descend from the sky. It flipped open, expanding into a gateway. The smoke of the book curled into little missy hearts.
"Ghost Writer?" Zatanna gawked "How did you get such a powerful, and notoriously recluse, being to owe you anything?"
"Let's just say, we both appreciate the finer things in life and that ghost has a rather fine ass" Constantine leered. No one had asked for any more detail, although Zatanna had the expression of someone who had bitten something sour the whole time.
Ghost Writer had given Constantine a warning that his power would only be able to protect five living souls. Any more would be at the mercy of the Infinite Realms'.
Humans that wandered into the Realms were more often than not driven into madness, became hopelessly lost, or had their souls swindled by beings that dwelled there. Not that it wasn't surprising.
After all, the living did not belong there, so of course they were a danger to the Realms' structure. Hell, there were rumors that a living being could produce fresh uncorrupted ectoplasm when killed or even kept like livestock.
Constantine did not want to find out if the rumors had any truth to them.
To be able to travel safely they had to fall under a powerful ghost's protection and Ghost Writers let them know to pick their five best.
It was decided that Constantine would go as their expert, Batman as their strategist, Wonder Woman as their diplomat and protection, Superman as second protection, and Zatanna as another magic user that could combat the dead.
The rest of the league remained, doing their best to hold their universe together as the team of five rushed off to put everything to right. It was agonizing not knowing what was happening or how the mission was going but they did what they could and placed their trust in the five.
Many of the Justice League didn't say it, but it was the remaining Bats that sort of kept everything afloat in their father's absence. Each one leads a group of young heroes, easily countering and controlling their self-appointed sectors of the world.
Nightwing and Titians.
Red Robin and Young Justice.
Red Hood and the Outlaws.
Oracle and the Birds of Prey
Robin and the Blades.
All five groups agree to use the Watch Tower as a central base to coordinate their defenses against the world falling apart. Trading information with each other quickly and efficiently, and using this new information to prepare for more ripples of universes, showcasing that Batman had taught them well.
Following their example, the rest of the Justice League did what they could to minimize the damage. It was on the second day of constant relief efforts that everything was snapped back to normal.
A giant wave of sound- the noise sounding a lot like a grandfather clock strick repeating over and over again- as things that were not meant to be in their world vanished and their own people and things returned.
The shy's patches were removed and the right color returned.
Even property damages that were caused by the incident were reversed as if reality falling apart was nothing but a dream. No wreckages to clean up, no people had gone missing, and best of all, no casualties had been taken.
The Leauge gathered around Ghost Writer's book watching it open as the five returned, cheering and screaming, giving them the proper hero's welcome. Then right behind their teammates, a second group followed through.
Three glowing figures, all dressed in the same black and white outfits, and a ship carrying four humans. Batman introduced them as the allies who helped defend Clockwork's Tower and keep the multi-universe from collapsing.
He did admit that just because it was no longer falling apart, it did not mean that the rip had been closed. In fact, it was the only thing left to do but it was proving to be difficult due to Clockwork himself not understanding why their world wasn't healing.
Clockwork couldn't leave the Realms for too long- if no one was there to keep Time running the same thing would happen all over again- but he did give them equipment that could in theory patch things up on their side.
They just needed someone who understood the equipment.
Team Phantom, led by Danny Phantom, one of the flowing figures was happy to volunteer. They would be staying for three years, to strengthen and rebuild their Universe structure.
Team Phantom consisted of Dan Phantom, Danielle Phantom, Jasmin Fenton, Tucker Foley, Samantha Manson, and Westley Weston. All young, kind, strong- Batman vouched for the non-powered members claiming they could go toe to toe with his kids- and all much to the joy of many young heroes- attractive. They played an essential role on the team, doing whatever their people and kind did to help Clockwork, staying out of the League's way.
They all seemed happy to live as close to civilians as possible and despite their strength and combat training, Team Phantom was more like a research party instead of a hero.
Since they would be there for three years- more depending on the Speed Force's effect on the timeline grumbles Tucker- the seven had chosen to set down some roots within their dimension.
The three Phantoms needed Ectoplasim to live- a rare substance in the Justice League's universe- so they chose Gotham as their new home. Batman was more than willing to allow them into his city, as long as they knew not to interfere with his work.
Things settled, The Justice League moved on to other missions and other issues while Team Phantom ran tests, gathered information, and worked on the timeline.
The only real issue Bruce had with Team Phantom, was that a majority of his kids were romanticly interested in them.
Dick's love-struck sigh, whenever Dan wandered by, would often lead to useless backflips in an ill-fated attempt to impress him.
Jason would conventionally be lifting weights shirtless whenever Jazz came by with an update report. Then he would mention some novel or other that had the girl's attention far better than his abs.
Steph had taken a very large interest in gardening and at the same time, started wearing shorter shorts and tighter tops because Sam seemed to adore flowers.
Cass meanwhile found every excuse there was to be dressed in the prettiest dresses she owned whenever Wes was anywhere near her. She even wore light makeup- a real sign of how much she was interested in the conspiracy theorist.
Duke seemed over the moon whenever Tucker asked for his personal help on anything technical-related. It did his son wonders that someone thought of him first when it came to tech- Duke has always been a bit self-conscious of his place among geniuses- would be all but speaking in poems to the bemused teenager.
Damian's crush on Ellie did melt Bruce's heart a little. It was his baby's first after all, but he wasn't sure if Damian's approach was doing anything. Put him on the battlefield and Damian could lead to victory. Put him next to a pretty young girl and all his son was capable of doing was stare and babble.
The only one that didn't seem to have a crush on Team Phantom was Tim. Which should have given him reassurance except for the small little detail.
"Red Robin" Danny sings upon Tim's arrival at the cave. Officially tonight they are all going over the results of the latest tests on the universe's structure. Unofficially Team Phantom had been invited over for dinner by Alfred and they were looking over the Batcave as their butler finished preparing the main course.
At once every member of Team Phantom raises their head, turning away from his love-struck children to his flustered son and singing "Yum" with wide smiles.
Tim's face goes bright red.
Apparently, Tim was their universe version of Adonis and Team Phantom had no issue with expressing how yummy they found Tim. Now Bruce isn't saying that he would be against Tim having more than one romantic partner- he has made sure to look up proper healthy poly relationships and given Tim a PowerPoint version of it.
It's just that he isn't sure how he's going to handle supporting one of his children while breaking the heart of another. Tim seems unsure how to handle so much romantic attention- he's had plenty of relationships before- but said attention is picking him before any of his siblings is a first.
Bruce knows that deep down Tim still struggles with thinking he's not as good as the others. That he really is just a placeholder in the long run.
Then there is the fact he isn't sure how their culture works. Is the singing like a mating call? Was there a chance they would earn the irk of Clockwork himself if Tim accidentally accepted their advances? Why was it always Red Robin and not just Tim himself that made Team Phantom go yummmm?
"Hi guys" Tim greets at least and Danny grins wider.
"Reeeeed Robbbbbin" " The ghost boy says throwing an arm over Tim's shoulders. Sam and Tucker surround them, making their voices sound strange as all three start singing, rocking Tim back and forth in a strange little dance.
"Yummmmm!"
From the corner of his eyes, Bruce makes out Dick's protective Older Brother's face, as his eldest starts marching towards the group with the intent of breaking them apart. He's been very vocal about putting an end to Team Phantom's flirtations if he saw so much as a hint of Tim's unease.
Except that Tim looked utterly bliss being pressed up against Danny. Maybe he should rethink Tim's disinterest in Team Phantom. The rest of his children looked murderous as more members of Team Phantom gathered around Tim also singing.
Bruce had to deal with this for three whole years. He can physically feel his hair turning greyer.

Doctor Danny Prompt
Danny Fenton is largely regarded as an ignorant slacker as a result of his schoolwork and study time consistently being interrupted by ghost attacks. Thankfully after Danny is crowned high king of the ghost zone he is able to reign the ghosts in and makes them all swear an oath not to cause trouble, they are still allowed to visit the human world of coarse, some even mask themselves as human and lead ordinary loves even while being dead.
With more time on his hands and little to no ghosts attacks Danny misses the rush he used to get. Then one day a man collapsed in front of him, Danny is able to save the man using CPR and he discovers his new affinity. Medical practice.
Danny goes to college and gets into a hospital as a resident after interning, not long after though the Amity Park hospital closes due to lack of funding and he is forced to find another hospital.
He got a good recommendation from his previous hospital to work at a hospital in Gotham, definitely far from home, but he doesn't let that stop him.
Soon after working there he finds the influx of patients to care for refreshing, he becomes widely known as a genius miracle doctor.
One day he's taking a leisurely walk when he found an injured vigilante, the Red Hood, hes not conscious and therefore unable to give consent for treatment. Danny cares for Red Hoods injuries privately away from a hospital so as to keep the vigilantes identity a secret.
Red Hood is cautious and rude at first, but slowly he learns to open up to the doctor and even get continuously treated by Danny.
Danny is just finishing a shift when he hears about Superman being shot with a kryptonite bullet. Despite using his powers occasionally to treat patients, he's been able to keep his ghost gene a secret.
However that's about to change. He arrives on the seen and pushes his way through the police using a bit of his powers discreetly to get through.
The heroes aren't sure what to do.
"My name's Daniel Fenton, I am an attending physician at Gotham General Hospital, I specialize in supernatural anatomy, Cardiology and Endocrinology"
"All due respect doctor, his skin is impenetrable, you won't be able to operate on him"
Danny kept a cool face.
"That would be true for a normal human, I can't explain right now, every moment we wait is time we could be using to save the patient"
Danny used his ghost powers to see inside Superman body.
Several heroes gasped as they witnessed the doctors eyes turn a glowing green and then his arm became transparent. Danny stick his hand on Superman chest and pulled out the bullet.
As soon as the bullet was out Superman's skin began healing and restoring itself.
Danny let out a breath of relief before letting the superheroes escort him to the hall of justice where they sat with him.
"I would like to begin with we all can't thank you enough Dr" Batman said.
"wow, Mr tall dark and broody is being nice" flash whispered.
"Yes but I'm sure you still have questions for me."
Several heads nodded.
"are you of an alien race?"
Danny chuckled.
"No, nothing like that. My parents were scientists who were obsessed with the study of the paranormal, specifically ghosts. When I was young, around the age of fourteen I would say, my friends convinced me to go inside the newly constructed portal shell that my parents had tested earlier that day."
He paused waiting for them to take in his words before continuing.
"It had failed to operate then so I went in thinking it was safe. I was wrong. My parents had unknowingly instilled the charge to start the portal on the inside of the shell. I didn't know it was even there until I tripped on some tangled exposed wire and my hand pressed it"
"did it hurt?" Flash asked. He got a few dirty looks for that question but Danny just gave him a friendly smile.
"in a word, yes. It was excruciating. I was electrocuted for a half a minute. On top of that I had accidentally started the charge to the portal shell while being inside. This caused an outside substance called ectoplasm to enter my DNA sequence permanently changing it"
"ectoplasm" Batman muttered.
"in simpler terms, I'm half ghost."
"That's not possible! You would have to be half dead to be-" Flashs words were silenced with a swift smack to the back of the head by wonder women.
"Yes, I am technically half dead. I had to battle these ghost entities for a while to make sure they didn't wreck havoc in the small town o grew up in."
"Forgive me, but of that's true why aren't you there now"
Danny chuckled as he rubbed the back of his neck a little nervous of their soon to be reactions.
"After I was forced to defeat the current ghost king and put him back onto the sarcophagus of forever sleep, the title became mine. I gained respect and control over the ghosts who were causing trouble amd was able to make them stop"
"Your a king" Batman stated.
"i don't refer to myself as such, on truth many ghosts helped imprison the old king, I received the title on a technicality."
He looked down at his hands.
"after the peace had settled in I had begun to feel as though a part of me was missing so I took up the career I have currently."
He smiled at them sweetly as he explained.
"My battle instincts help me when I'm in a crisis situation with a critical patient. With my powers I can calm them and safely restrain them if need be. As you saw today I can also better treat meta humans and alien races with these abilities as well"
"you went from being a hero to being a doctor, that's commendable"
Danny shook his head.
"Not really. I'm doing a selfless thing for selfish reasons"
The league smiled upon him. From then on he was world renowned for his worldly expertise and protected.
Should I make this into a whole fanfiction or not? Because I want to go into more detail but I want to know what you all think first.

Meeting The Parents (Part 3)
After it was decided that the space faring Watchtower was not safe enough to host Dimensional beings. So, the League arranged to host Ellie and her parents in the Fortress of Solitude at Superman’s invitation.
Robin, and Batman were somehow already waiting in the room when the Supers arrived.
“How did you get in?” Superman asked in surprise.
“Do you really want to know?” Batman grunted. Casually overlooking the file he had organized prior to the meeting.
Soon afterwards Wonder Woman and confused looking Captain Marvel came in and sat down. A few minutes later Red Robin and Supernova (Conner) came in. After seeing all the seats around the table save for three were taken, Supernova muttered “Crowded room.” And the pair moved to the far side of the room to stand along the wall.
The younger Superboy fidgeted in his seat next to Robin. “Do you think her parents will like us?”
The vigilante didn’t answer verbally but the clenched fists and thrumming heartbeat gave away his anxiety.
“Right. Denizens of the Infinite Realms are coming. Everyone, please remember the etiquette rules we covered.” Zatanna announced as she entered, Marvel stood and offered the Magician his seat graciously. Constantine trailed in coming behind Zatanna looking weirdly sober and frazzled. “These are beings literally built for battle. Please don’t piss them off.” Constantine lit his cigarette casually, “It’ll probably be a few hours for them to find a natural portal stable enough for all four of them to pass through.”
Before anyone else could speak, a glowing green portal opened. Constantine’s cigarette fellas his jaw dropped.
A large dark armored knight of massive proportions exited the portal. Everyone in the room was tense. Not only was the male figure huge but the power wafting off of him. “Is that her Dad?” Captain Marvel muttered.
The knight had a great sword held ceremoniously in front of him. “Announcing the Duchess of Free Will. The Divine Spirit of Exploration. Heir to the Throne of the Infinite Realms. Her Imperial Royal Highness, Princess Ellie Phantom!”
“Shiiit….” Constantine quiet hiss echoed in the silent room. Despite not being able to see his eyes (if he even had eyes) Constantine felt the Knight glaring at him for vulgarity. Before he could act though, another figure exited the glowing portal.
A freckled white-haired girl in a long-sleeved crop top and black utility pants with blindingly white combat books came flying out of the portal.
Batman catalogued each feature as he watched her enter. Thick brows, white slightly pointed teeth (like a cat or a fox) , thin arms, tan skin, bright green eyes. Her face was pudgy almost, like a teenager who was beginning to grow out of their childhood softness. But open expression and body language. She was loose and floating with her movements in flight.
Stopping short as the girl looked over the room in surprise. “Woah. There’s a lot of you.” She looked a little confused at the crowd. But not upset.
. “Robin! Superboy!” She chirped happily when she noticed the two sidekicks. Superboy stood up and floated to meet her mid-air. “Ellie!”
Robin also stood and came around the table. “You never mentioned your status.” He said tersely after accepting a hug that lifted him slightly off the ground.
“Status?” Ellie looked confused at the two of them.
“You never told us you’re a Princess!” Superboy complained lightly.
“I didn’t?” Ellie looked confused as she thought about it. “Huh, I guess I didn’t. It’s not that big of a deal.” She shrugged but before she could say more, the Knight spoke again.
“Announcing The Guardian of Sacred Life. The Daughter of UnderGrowth, the Grand Ancient. Duchess of the Green. Royal Consort. Her Grace, Sam EverGreen!”
“My mom.” Ellie told the boys excitedly,
A feminine form exited the Portal. A floral, slightly citrus smell filled the room at the woman’s entrance. Short chaotic black hair. Thick thorny vines were woven into a kind of glowing Laurel crown on her head. She had narrow violet eyes, a straight nose, and thin lips. (Red Robin silently wondered if it was a black lip stain or if it was her actual lip color.) She was wearing a kind of dark leafy jacket with a long tailcoat that gave her an imposing silhouette..
The woman was beautiful. Her unique features set in a perfectly symmetrical way that made everyone in the room feel just a bit breathless. And for those who understood magic, more than a little afraid. Nothing human, nothing mortal, nothing that wasn’t a predator was ever that enticing. Like a carnivorous flower, every aspect of the woman was designed draw them closer and put them at ease. And in the back of their minds, made them very afraid.
Her black lips quirked as Ellie floated closer to stand next to her. “Hello, sweetpea.” Her voice was lilting and soft, as she wrapped a casual arm around the smaller spirit.
Before anyone could greet the woman, the Knight spoke again.
“Announcing the Exalted Strategist. The Ever-Returning Pharaoh. The Great Administrator of Progress. The Grand Duke of the Sands and Silica. Royal Consort, His Grace Tucker Dulamon.”
Another person exited the portal. A man with dark skin that was decorated with glittering golden hieroglyphs. His shoulder length dreads were capped with gold. A chiseled face with kohl lined eyes set deep within their sockets that twinkled delightfully as he greeted Ellie with a forehead kiss. His style of dress was very different compared to the woman. His was vaguely Egyptian in origin. A golden Ahnk pendent hung around his neck. On his head was a heavy gold circlet with a winding snake twisting around the band. His loose pants and casually draped sash with elaborate shining embroidery detailed in red and golds with…circuitry images?
Once again, the beings appearance was meant to entice and invite. Not with beauty this time. But mystery. An air of adventure and discovery twisted around this man to draw others closer to him.
“Pops!” Ellie eagerly greeted the man with a hug before turning to the others in the room. Unwittingly breaking the minor entrancement the two beings had on everyone in the room. “This is my mom and my pops.” She paused and looked around to the still open portal behind them. “Where’s dad?” Her voice was small as she asked. Her two parents were quick to comfort and pat at her back and shoulders.
“One of the Observants wanted to speak to him before we left.” the woman-Duchess Sam- spoke to Ellie softly.
“Damn Eyeballs.” The man-Duke Tucker-muttered unhappily under his breath. “They could schedule a meeting whenever and they always choose the most inconvenient time for a ‘vital’ issue to come to light.”
“Shush.” The Duchess EverGreen snapped with narrowed eyes before turning a softer expression to Ellie. “He’ll brush them off and be right behind us.” She placated.
Ellie’s expression was…complicated. Resigned but hopeful with a mix of annoyance. Batman noted the expression. It seemed this ‘Dad’ kept Ellie waiting or outright canceled meetings with her before. Often enough that she wasn’t surprised.
“While we wait for him, please won’t you sit and join us?” Wonder Woman stood and graciously gestured at the array of snacks that was set on the meeting table.
Diana carefully chose the snacks. Milk and rice wine and sweet breads and fresh fruits. Familiar offerings for spirits and deities. Hearing the titles of the arrivals. ‘The Divine Spirit of Exploration’, ‘The Guardian of Sacred Life’, and the ‘Ever-Returning Pharoah’. These Infinite Realms Denizens could be considered and probably are gods of some kind.
The two adult spirits nodded. “Thank you for the welcome.” The woman said. “We weren’t expecting such a…crowd for this meeting.” The man nodded in agreement, “Yes. Ellie just mentioned Robin and Superboy with their parents.”
The unspoken ‘So what do the rest of you think you’re doing here?’ Sat heavily in the air.
Diana smiled graciously, “I admit, we were all eager to meet Ellie ourselves after hearing about her.”
The duchess raised a skeptical brow but nevertheless smiled. “I can certainly understand that. Now how can we address you?” She asked as the trio sat in the offered seats. Ellie smiling but glancing back at the portal anxiously.
Before Diana could answer the duchess, Zatanna spoke up. “With the understanding that stating our names is not offering of them to you.”
The man looked unimpressed. “Which is why it was asked how to address you. Not with the intention of stealing. Do you take us as thieves?” His eyes were narrowed in dangerous annoyance. A hum rose in the air. Like the electronic buzz of machinery turning on.
“No. Not at all.” Wonder Woman eased the rising tensions. “My title is Wonder Woman. Please feel free to address me by it.”
“I am called Zatanna.”
“My title is Captain Marvel.” Behind the Captain, Constantine didn’t move from his hiding spot.
“Call me Red Robin.”
“Nice to meet you, my name is Supernova.”
“Batman.”
“Please call me Superman.”
“Robin.”
“My name is Superboy.”
The two Spirits glanced at each other. Before they could speak the princess sat between them piped up. “Call me Ellie.”
“You may refer to me as Sam or Evergreen if it pleases you.”
“Please call me Tucker. Or Dulamon. Either will work.” As the introductions commenced, the hum of electronics (obviously an indication of the dukes ire) faded away.
The duchess smiled, probably meaning to be kind looking but the fangs peeking between her lips were just slightly disquieting. “We aren’t here in a formal capacity. Please don’t feel pressured to use our titles.”
Wonder Woman smiled graciously, “Thank you. And the other to join us? How would they prefer to be addressed?”
The Dark Knight, still standing guard in front of the swirling portal spoke up. “Announcing The Great Ancient of Balance. His of the Endless Void. The Ruler of the Unbroken Cosmos. The Patriarch of the Wilds. Eminence of Justice. His Imperial Majesty, The Infinite High King Phantom.” The knight kneeled after making his announcement. The three seated spirits rose respectfully. Reflexively the others in the room stood as well.
The new spirit to enter the room was tall. Taller than the Knight with the muscle mass to match. Uncontrollable windblown white hair constantly waving in an invisible breeze surrounded by a crown of spectral auroras and starts. A hefty nebula studded cloak was draped casually over one shoulder. Eyes the same shade of green as Ellies but without the innocent warmth hers contained. His mouth was set in an indifferent frown. The aura coming off the king was incredible to behold. Ice and Patience and the Vast Infinity of the Universe exuded off of him in waves. Looking at him was like staring into the abyss of a black hole.
If the others were meant to entice and encourage others to come closer with the promise of beauty and adventure then this Being was nothing less than the immense wonders of the Universe condensed before them.
Constantine was quietly edging himself along the wall to hide behind Captain Marvel’s bulk further. The Captain glanced at the man hiding behind him in confusion before quietly adjusting himself to better hide the man. If Constantine was shaking, it was better not to ask why.
On the other side of the meeting room, the King waved the kneeling knight back into the portal without glancing back. “Thank you for the escort, Fright Knight.” The Knight backed into the green swirl and the portal closed behind him. He ignored the heroes in the room to greet his family. A small smile welcomed the three spirits closer. They gathered around him easily. “Everything good?” Duchess Sam asked quietly.
“It’s handled. Damn Eyeballs making a fuss about nothing to waste my time again.”
Ellie darted into the middle of the family group to pout up at the King. “Dad. You were almost late.”
At Ellie’s voice the Kings’ glacier expression softened. “Hey there, Starlight. Sorry about that.” He ruffled a massive hand through Ellies’ hair. Ellie grinned and floated spritely over to Robin and Superboy. “Dad, Mom, Pops, these are my boyfriends.” She gestured grandly presenting the two teens to her parents.
Green, Gold, and Violet eyes locked onto the two boys with an inhuman like curiosity. Though he tried not to react physically, Robin felt his heart rate increase, sweat began to collect at the back of his neck and the palms of his hands. Though unlike Superboy he didn’t react by wiping his palms on his pants like a plebian. The two boys were pinned underneath the unnatural, unblinking gazes of Ellie’s parents. Ellie’s grin twitched as the silent stare down from her parents continued. “Be nice.” She commanded the trio.
As one the entities relaxed their gazes and smiled at their daughter.
“Of course sweetpea.”
“Next-Level, you don’t have to worry about us.”
“Whatever you say little star.”
Zatanna thankfully interjected the awkward air of the meeting. “Please, let’s sit down and get to know one another, your majesties.”
The King nodded, breaking the moment with a cold gentleness. “Yes. Let’s sit. I am eager to learn more about you boys. Ellie has spoken about you to us but there is still much we wish to know.” The deep rumble in his chest echoed throughout the room.
Robin and Superboy sat next to their fathers. The Spirits each took a seat in front of them. The Duke and Duchess sat on the Kings left and right with the Duke taking the further seat to allow Ellie to sit next to the king.
Ellie smiled encouragingly at Robin and Superboy while simultaneously reaching and taking a cheese and cracker snack to munch on. Passing a cracker with cheese over to her father. The King took the offering with a soft adoring smile to his daughter before turning back to look over the heroes before him. An oddly human expression that put the heroes at ease to see.
”Thank you for the snacks. We would have brought something to this gathering as well, but…” The King hesitated. Ellie spoke up. “Humans can’t really eat food from the Realms.”
The Duchess had a mischievous smirk. “At least, not without consequences.” She twisted her wrist with a flourish and presented a glowing pomegranate. Split down the side, ruby seeds fell to the table. A shiver ran down more than one persons spine at her implication and the soft clatter of the gemstone seeds hitting the table. Ellie caught the uncomfortable looks of those across the table and shot a pointed look at the duchess. The violet eyed spirit unrepentantly waved her hand again to remove the crystalline fruit from sight.
“But,” The duke spoke up, “we did not show up empty handed.” He reached his own hand across the table, 8 delicately decorated Fabrege eggs rolled from his sleeve and onto the table, along with around ten time weathered gold and silver coins, and two Egyptian styled jeweled necklaces. “Please accept these.”
Batman caught one of the rolling eggs and examined it. “Are these authentic?”
“Yes. Russian. Beautiful craftsmanship.” The Duke confirmed with a smile.
Diana examined one of the coins. “This is Greek. From King Phillip the second I believe. I thought there were none left in existence.”
”Thank you for these.” Zatanna said, notably not reaching for the treasures presented on the table. Noticing her discomfort with the gifts, the King’s icy expression relaxed into something more gentle, “These are mere Thank yous for the gracious hospitality you have shown us on such short notice. We were eager to meet the young men Ellie have told us so much about.” The King laughed slightly, a soft rumble that echoed deeply, “Ellie was very firm that I was not permitted to bring food to our meeting.”
The princess rolled her eyes in good humor, “Yeah, you cooking is a disaster from start to finish.” She smiled at the two sidekicks across from her. “Last time he tried baking something, it BIT me.”
At the acknowledgement that the items were gifted in return for their hospitality and held no other motives, Zatanna relaxed and accepted one of the necklaces. All the other adults in the room also accepted one of the eggs, with Wonder Woman examining the coins with a curators eye. Captain Marvel handing one egg to Constantine who was still hiding behind him.
Gifts exchanged and accepted the King settled back into his seat and settled his gaze once more on the two young heroes in front of him.
“Tell me about yourselves, young men.” The King’s eyes fixed on Robin to start. With immortal eyes on him, Robin cleared his throat and began. Proud that his voice only trembled slightly and wouldn’t likely be noticed by those without super hearing. “I am Robin. Vigilante of Gotham. Son of Batman. Grandson of the Demon’s head.”
“Gotham?” The Duchess asked in an interested tone. A soft lilt as she rolled the name of the unfamiliar city around. “Interesting. I have to say I approve of the name.” She lifted a cup from the center plate and drank the water with a small smile.
“You would.” The duke quipped before also reaching for one of the offered drinks. He took a slow sip. The honeyed milk in the glass tinted into a deep red before it reached his lips. “Vigilante. That’s certainly something to hear. You don’t call yourself a sidekick or a hero. Why?”
Robin answered the golden eyed Spirit with a steady voice“…A vigilante is someone who does what they believe is right, even if they do not necessarily follow the law to do so.”
“So, you would break the law to do what you think is right?” His voice was light. Like he was teasing the answer out of Robin.
“Of course.” The young vigilante said confidently.
“Why?”
“Some laws stand in the way of justice.” Robin said confidently.
The duke’s golden eyes glittered in amusement. To his side the duchess’s lips twisted into a sardonic smile as they both glanced over to the king. “On that,” She purred, “I think we can all agree.” She lean conspiratorially over the table to him. Robin resisted the instinctive urge to lean away and distance himself from the woman’s sharp eyes and too sharp teeth. “Personally,” She hummed, “I’ve always found a bit of civil unrest in the face of injustice to be grand.” Her eyes darted to the King sitting next to her.
The duke laughed, “Not everyone likes riots and anarchy like you.”
“You cannot say a word. You’re just as bad as me.”
The King’s eyebrow twitched at the two’s (spouses? Paramours? Consorts?) byplay, but he said nothing. Ellie’s expression was obviously embarrassed by two of her parents behavior.
King Phantom’s expression was a mask of ice as he stared at the two boys seated in front of him. Superboy struggled not to fidget under his gaze. “The Demon’s head?”
His question made a strip of ice shoot down Robin’s spine. “My Grandfather is the head of the League of Assassins.” For maybe the first time in his life, Damian did not feel pride when he spoke of his grandfather’s position. His future position. Telling your girlfriend’s parents that your grandfather was the head of the League of Assassins was probably not the best impression. Awkward silence followed his explanation.
The duke pursed his lips in thought. “League of Assassins… Your grandfather wouldn’t be Raj Al Ghul would he?”
The King looked over Ellie’s head to the duke. “You know him?”
“Knew him. Lifetimes ago.” Gold met Green In a silent conversation. After a moment, the King nodded his head. “I see. Your opinion?”
“Prideful, Determined, Charismatic, and Annoying.”
“Hmmm.”
The duchess smirked. “So I’m guessing you two were the best of friends.” Her voice was teasingly combative.
The duke shrugged. “It was almost 400 years ago. Different times.”
The King’s brow furrowed, “400 years?” He tilted his head to Robin, “And he’s still alive?”
“Yes, your Majesty.”
“You don’t need to call me ‘your Majesty’ young man. Just Phantom will be fine.”
Robin nodded, that was a good sign wasn’t it? The King didn’t seem upset or disappointed.
Ellie was smiling, that was a good sign right?

DPxDC or Marvel: What Do You Mean 'You Didn't Know'?!
Poindexter's introduction episode gave us a horrifying and frankly underused plot device with a single quote. "You have all our powers on the human plain."
The argument could be that he meant the "basic ghost powers" but what if he didn't? What if he truly meant all of their powers.
Danny was under the impression that Sidney had meant "basic ghost powers", but when he had over twenty powers under his belt and more forming each day he started to wonder if maybe Poindexter had meant more than that.
But for now he didn't tell anybody. After all he was already considered 'overpowered' by the Team given the fact that he wasn't even 18 yet. He was powerful and it was clear that some members of the team feared and didn't understand that power. Be it because they didn't believe in Ghosts, didn't understand what a 'Halfa' was or were just generally freaked out by a child having powers that made immune to most their attacks.
His powers scared them and more than once he had heard the comment; "We're lucky he's on our side." and; "We made the right choice recruiting him so we could keep an eye on him."
Sure, he hadn't told them about his super hearing either but still - rude. Other members of the team had super hearing why assume that Danny didn't?
It isn't until one of these new powers develop in the middle of an important battle. Which wouldn't have been a problem if the new power wasn't some kind of EMP attack that wiped out all of their coms and plunged everything into complete darkness. People had gotten hurt - minor injuries but still.
"Why didn't you tell us about that power?" Superman/Captain America pressed as Phantom sank down in his seat uncomfortable under the gaze of every member of the team.
"Because I didn't know I had that power."
"What do you mean you didn't know?" Asked Flash/Hawkeye. "Seems like a pretty big thing not to know about."
"I didn't know because my powers are still developing." Phantom mumbled, "I get a new power every couple of months or so, it just happens sometimes. It's normal."
"It's not." Multiple members of the team said and Phantom shrunk down more.
"It is for me... I didn't know or I would have warned you guys..."
"Do we at least have a timeline for how long these powers are going to keep 'developing'?" Wonder Woman/Black Widow asked.
Phantom shook his head. "No. Dying and being brought back half-way doesn't exactly come with a manual. But, if it makes you guys feel better I'll probably have control of that EMP power by the end of the week. At least before the next power forms."
Oddly enough that sentence did not in fact make anybody feel better.
