i am okay with greylock's design but obviously they didn't give him more than one outfit. i mean it's not wrong, giving him another suit for the conference wouldn't help the recognizability, and he's not important enough to give him several clothes sets anyway

but he's important for me okay! i felt like this man would want to appear flashy and get all the attention on some important occasions, he needs cool clothes! and not cool ones too, i won't let him run around in same robes both in summer and winter wtf

all in all here they are - the alternative clothes i thought of

the top one, the second row and the middle one are for special occasions, the rest is for everyday work in castle and home

my midterm/absolutorium is over and now i can actually. celebrate my bday lol i was too buried by uni bs this month to unwind.

i got like three diff pieces of cake from my fave pastry shop bc I DESERVE IT AFTER BLOWING MY PRESENTATION/DEFENSE OUT THE PARK (according my my classmates/prof but also ME MIETTE!!! IM SO HAPPY I DIDNT CLAM UP LIKE I DID DURING THE ONLINE PRESENAYSH AUHJA. And the prof cadre actually??? Seemed interested and asked me questions abt the process etc. Which is not on brand, usually they seem disinterested in what ppl are presenting and only a few projects get their attention. NGL after working my ass off beading these skulls i feel JUSTLY REWARDED. HARD WORK PAID OFF. And as per uj they couldnt believe i make them all by hand lmaaaaooo anyway zen right now after beinf so stressed last week & the weekend i can actually relax. enjoy my term break. make some clay critters

also the pics are kind of ehhh bcs the artificial lighting was super intense and kind of took away the softness/dark colors from the skulls esp :c i dont really want to upload hi res pics of these things until im finished with my masters 100% and hopefully have my degree. The red skull esp looks kind of miserable compared to rl/vids/proper documentation but i dont want to upload now. idk maybe i will once i rest and think abt it? ANYWAY THE CAKES

Something something Ed seeks out or is confronted by his own reflections three times in ascending order of violent emotions (the hand mirror, the salver, the knife)--

And we see Stede being painted twice in his old life, not looking at the painter or the painting but at some distant other thing, and then finally seeking to see himself in the third appearance of his portraiture-- only to find he's been painted out.

I wonder if Stede will someday ask to be drawn, and how, and whether he will look at the artist while they work, or the other people in it (if any), and seek out the finished work and be happy to see himself reflected in it.

...and I wonder if Ed will avoid reflections now (remove the mirrors, avert the eyes, but sometimes he'll catch himself in still water and flinch away--) because he knows what he is, he made himself this way, he knows how others see him and he can see it in their eyes without needing any further proof (except what he sees in Stede's eyes doesn't seem to match, so better not look there, fuck, fuck--)

Stede will look so, so hard now, and Ed will look at anything but-- a switch now, from their season 1 selves, lasting, perhaps, until they can finally see themselves -- and each other -- fully.

(And maybe, after that, they'll be able to see themselves together.)

[ I am not biased about Nnoitra--- ( this is my current wordcount for my muses ) --- I plan on dropping Shinji, Muramasa and Ashitaka by the end of the year. Leaving me with three Bleach muses: Nnoitra, Byakuya and Mayuri. I might pick up a fourth Bleach muse ( you'll never guess who 8)) ) For my One Piece muses, I'm planning to keep them all. So overall I'll have three ( possibly 4 ) Bleach blogs, and three One Piece blogs. ]

Rise buys herself a nice convertibe in college and either

A. Yosuke loves driving that car so much he finds every excuse to to drive it even if it means rise sits I the back and pretends he's her chauffeur

B. Its PINK and he says he HATES it even if he finds it fun to drive. And rise makes a big show to pick him up in it to embarrass him. She even bought him a matching pair of heart sunglasses. Hands them to him every time he complains about the sun in his eyes but he always throws them in the back :c
