I know some people might be dissapointed with the reveal, saying this is out of character and said it’s a bad character arc and ruins everything his character got going. But honestly? This is just about how I expected things to go with how qBBH is.

Yeah, his character is messed up, and a little twisted. But he’s not as monstrous and selfish as people make him out to be sometimes. Yeah he has his priorities, but that doesn’t mean he’ll disregard others completely.

It’s been so many months sure, but I think a lot of people weren’t around early on when he was one of the most helpful people on the island, giving things to anyone who needed it, constantly helping them upgrade their things and taking care of any eggs that needed it. People say, that the qBBH now is his true self, really discredits the things he did earlier. And even sometimes now, in his lowering mental state.

They’re all his true self. All of them, it’s just him, but in different situations. Right now? He’s an animal backed into a corner and lashing out, doing bad things and hurting people, but it’s still him. The qBBH who helped out all the eggs? Who comforted Roier after he lost Bobby and would put waystones in the sky to scan for eggs in case any got knocked down? Who gave so many people free items and armour without thanks? Who would recap new islanders or islanders who weren’t updated on the lore because he practically lives on the server? That’s still him. He still cares, it’s just right now, I feel he’s ridiculously desperate, that the worst parts of him are re-emerging.

but, the good parts are still there.

Like, qBBH is messed up, but ccbbh tends to not make his characters too dark. I know a lot of people wanted him to be eaten, and I think that’s a little dark, but it would’ve been very interesting! And honestly, I like how the arc played out! It’s messed up, but what can you expect from a messed up islander and a worker from a corrupt system.

There’s a chance, that all this is only a hallucination, and I can accept that too. But there’s also a chance that it’s real, and I’d be equally content if that’s the case.

And it suddenly occurred to me how utterly deranged Link must look, because you have this dude in his underwear, with a legendary sword on his back, and a weird green alien looking arm, plus glowing cube thingies on his hip, cooking under a red moon, with a soup ladle on fire next to him, because he full force threw a fire fruit to light the pot, and didn’t bother to put it out, and surrounded by flames and red gloom stuff he’s throwing frogs, wings, tentacles, and fangs into the pot, and being delighted and jumping in the air, with joy and a shout, as fog goes everywhere when his concoction is done.

I mean we joke about people not recognizing him, but who would connect this mad lad with the perfect knight that goes around with the princess?

i love how season two jon will play recordings of his very concerned and or very angry coworkers saying things like “i wish this poor little man would go to therapy im so incredibly concerned about his mental and physical well being” and “HES LITERALLY STALKING ME. I LIVE IN FEAR. HES IN MY WALLS.” and respond to it like “hmmmm i gotta be sneakier. the twink is out to kill me i know it. im gonna go break into a dead woman’s apartment.”
