it’s canon to me that anakin skywalker and marshall commander fox are archnemeses of a shakespearean nature to eachother
why? well, fox’ life is a tragedy of galactic proportions. he’s a slave at best and straight up non-sentient property at worst, caught at the crossroads of being the face of the republic’s most corrupt establishment to his brothers who resent him for being forced to bear an authority he has no actual control over, and being the closest and easiest target for that very authority’s ire. made to enforce the rigged and deeply unjust laws against his own oppressed peoples, and no one understands better than fox how much coruscant truly despises them. the chancellor at the heart of it all, and anakin, the favored pupil - taken in by the flattery and empty promises like all the rest of them, the jedi most intimately connected to the senate who yet cares so little to know the clones who shed their blood in it every day that he never sees beyond his own very nose. no one asks the guard what they think, and fox despises them all for it, but the jedi who play at caring more than anything. it’s an impersonal, distanced dislike for the most part, but with skywalker it burns all the brighter for how often fox sees him walk the halls of the senate and never think to ask.
also fox cut anakin off in traffic once and he never forgave him for it

If somebody in your life offers to knit or crochet or, really, create anything for you, please be an active participant in the creation of the piece they are making. I adore making and gifting things, but nothing bums me out quicker than a person who passively just goes "okay," to my ideas about what I'm making them - it can send the message that they won't like it, or that they don't care, even if they're happy about my offering. The back-and-forth feedback is a great way to make sure that you are being gifted something that was truly worth the time, effort, expertise, and money that will inevitably go into the gift!
I know it's really hard to be an active participant, believe me, I'm an anxious ball of horror, but it will only do good for both parties to interact in this situation. It is a big deal to be offered a hand-crafted gift, but it's also something we want you to love and use, and that can only happen if you tell us what would make you fall in love with what we create.

nightmare's gang but they're one of those youtube family channels that extorts the kids. HEAR ME OUT HEAR ME OUT
i mean cmon man managing his multiversal takeover scheme must take a lot of money. nightmare needs a source of income. so what better than to torture and extort his gang even more. he makes them behave and act entertaining for the camera because if not they get beat and punished. he has cameras everywhere in the castle for content and to monitor everyone. people online are worried about the "kids" on the channel because they are CLEARLY being abused and exploited. nightmare gets a feast of negativity from these peoples' worries. now do i think that he would be cruel enough to force his gang to act like children for this channel?? i dunno,,,,,,,, perchance (YOU CAN'T JUST SAY PERCHANCE)
idk there's definitely a lot more than could be done with this stupid idea. but i just think,,,,,, i just think it would be funny,,,,, think about it,,,,,,,,,,

don't understand people who say they hate later seasons discord bc they don't like the idea of this larger than life intimidating villain being dumbed down to just some goofy guy. because im enlightened ik that this is the funniest shit ever, at least in the way mlp did it. imagine there's this evil scary looking monster with infinite powers, possibly the most powerful creature in the universe, quite literally a god, and with consciousness and intelligence and a love for psychological manipulation. yeah he's actually believed to be the physical embodiment of the concept of disharmony! yeah ages ago he just decided to take over this weirdly isolated country just for funsies because he liked the idea of having a bunch of people that he just play with like toys because hes an immortal being that has no concept of people being anything other than entertainment. then he got trapped in stone prison. then he got out. then he got put back. then for some reason the queen just decides to let him out on some weird probation and drops him off under the care of some random hippy in her early 20s who lives in a cottage outside a middle of nowhere town. and she actually DOES befriend the scary evil god with infinite powers and suddenly he's sworn not to use his powers for evil anymore just so he can hang out with her. and now he just goes around bothering everybody and being the most obnoxious peice of shit in the world, trying to piss people off in small ways that don't consistute Fully Evil because he does not care abt anyone besides that one girl who basically lives in the woods and has about 20 different pets. and they have tea parties and he probably has a crush on her. and pretty much everybody besides her can't stand him but they put up with him because hes the most powerful being in the universe probably. that's hilarious

I need to bring back the Solas is palestinian agenda. We Palestinians are gonna have to take one for the team and claim him.
This ancient Elven god who has, over thousands of years, in uthenera watched his people be colonised, enslaved, tortured, abused, degraded, and the bitterness in him that has grown as a result, that he'd do anything to see his people restored, even if even members of his people don't agree with his methods. He's no longer capable of being reasoned out of it because every injustice he's borne witness to has hardened his resolve.
And on some level, I see it, right? What has changed exactly after thousands of years? Have things gotten better for the elves? At all? When dalish suspicion of humans is treated as savagery and hostility? When humans regularly hunt down the Dalish for sport, even especially their children? Or the city elves in their alienages, where they are forced to be dependent on their colonisers that regularly raid their homes to remind them that they are lesser? When attempting to defend themselves leads to them being tortured and left to rot in prisons?
And now, to the average elf, dalish or otherwise, the idea of freedom feels like a distant dream. If Solas could restore elves to their former glory, undo his wrongs, even if he needs to hurt people, even innocents, he would do it, because the alternative is 1000 more years of the same.
