Tumblr media Tumblr media

could I have headcanons about chubby puppy regressor Wilson who's a little insecure about his weight and cg House who comforts him about it
Absolutely!
House likes to make Wilson feel secure and taken care of while he's regressed because he doesn't get to do it much, so you better bet that he's a bit spoiled.
Gave him a lot of indulgent food and treats at first and then noticed that Wilson was actually shying away from it and looked uncomfortable taking them. But of course, because it's Wilson, he didn't say anything to be polite so House had to pry it out of him that eating that way made him feel guilty.
They had a big long discussion about it when Wilson was big again and sorted it out, and now House mind-games him into still being able to have those fun treats without feeling bad.
House is the parent who sneaks kale and zucchini into brownies and muffins for extra nutrients, except Wilson knows about it and actively wanted it.
House was reluctant to do it in the first place because there was nothing wrong with Wilson's weight, he was a healthy man and he made sure to drill that into him to make sure he knew it, but he also wanted Wilson to be as happy and comfortable as possible while regressed.
House regularly calls him "handsome puppy" or "a pretty/handsome boy".
Wilson had some insecurities about not being able to be lifted up by House, but House reminded him that he couldn't pick up most puppies because of his cane and a lot of dogs were too big to be carried, and that settled him.

Spinach jibn is a traditional Syrian way to prepare vegetables, akin to a crustless quiche. It’s most common to find it with spinach, but you can also make it with zucchini or other vegetables you may have around. It’s healthy and kid-friendly, though I assure you that adults enjoy it just as much. I learned to make this from my mom and grandmas and it’s very near and dear to my heart.
Jibn is adaptable. It’s freezable. It’s make-aheadable! I am sharing the recipe in its most basic form, but feel free to experiment from here: Mix it up by grating an onion into the spinach, or adding cumin and garlic powder, or topping with sesame seeds before baking.  Bake it in a pie crust or muffin tins, or even in a thin layer on top of pizza dough.
It may not be the prettiest dish or the fanciest, but it’s the kind of dish you will make again and again.

Baking therapy on a budget Ft. Genshin Characters: Kujo Sara -Blueberry Buttermilk Sour Cream Muffins
Tumblr media
Hello, every birdy. Today we are going to be making something that was really simple and honestly, it can easily be multiplied if need be.
Tumblr media
The character in question is one that frustrated me a lot when I started doing these posts. Kujou Sara is one of the characters from Inazuma. She is a tengu (which is a crow demon). She is very loyal to both the Shogun and her clan. And she is battle-ready all the time. Because of this, she doesn’t like sweets. The only thing that she likes is onigiri, (which are rice balls that are filled things.) I picked this recipe because It is an easy grab-and-go food. Yes, it is sweet, but there have been many more sweet foods.
Tumblr media
The link to the recipe and the measurements will be down below.
For the blueberry muffins you are going to need:
Flour
Baking powder and soda
Salt
Granulated sugar
Veggie Oil
Buttermilk
Sour cream
2 eggs
Blueberries
For the crumb Topping you will need:
Flour
Granulated sugar
Cold, butter
Tumblr media
To start this recipe we are going to make the topping first. It may seem weird, but it literally takes no time at all. You can use a food processor or your hands for this. I usually just end up using my hands when making a crumb topping because I like the texture of it.
Tumblr media
To either the bowl or the food processor you are going to add ⅓ cup of flour, 1 ½ Tbsp granulated sugar, and the diced butter. You want to mix it together until everything comes together in tiny crumbles and it is light and fluffy. Set it aside, for now.
Tumblr media
Once you have your crumb topping you are going to move onto the blueberry muffins. Start by preheating your oven to 400 F.
Tumblr media
Grab a bowl and whisk together your dry ingredients. This includes your flour, both baking powder and soda, and salt. Set it aside.
Tumblr media
Now onto the wet ingredients. Into a larger bowl, we are going to add 1 cup of granulated sugar, veggie or cannoli oil, buttermilk, sour cream, and eggs. Mix well until they are blended, this should take about 30 seconds.
Tumblr media
Fold in the dry ingredients until they just combine. The batter will be slightly lumpy, this is the desired texture, so make sure not to over-mix.
Tumblr media
Gently fold in the blueberries. Divide the mixture evenly among your 12 paper-lined muffin cups. Add about 1 Tablespoon of the crumb topping to each of the muffins. If desired add a little bit of raw sugar to the top as well.
Tumblr media
Bake the muffins in a preheated oven for about 18-22 minutes or until the muffins are lightly golden and when a toothpick is inserted in the center of the muffin it comes out clean.
Tumblr media
Allow the muffin to cool for several minutes in the pan before removing in to a wire rack.
Tumblr media
These muffins were so easy to make and with the size of my family, I doubled the recipe. It was such an odd thing for me to do so casually because I don’t always have these ingredients with me at all times. But, I was happy that I was able to make them. Everyone in my family liked them because they were a fast and healthy breakfast. Breakfast in my family is sometimes one of the hardest things for us to eat.
Tumblr media
I hope that you liked this recipe.  Feel free to check it out for yourself. See you in the next post. Thank you.

TW: i will be talking about food and nutrition and disordered eating, please keep scrolling of you are not up for that right now.
I somehow landed on the "healthy eating nutritionist" side of insta, and omg what fucking problem do these people have with sugar. "Wah wah there is juice concentrate in my baby snack that's so evil" it's a sweet baby snack with fruit what the hell did you expect.
And a lot of the "nutritionist advice" is generally not bad advice and probably helpful while on the journey of recovering from an eating disorder, but it's always only half way there while still incorporating ed motivations around eating. "If you want to eat the cookies you can pair them with addition filling snacks". Like this is probably good advice for people recovering from binging and i am glad if it's helpful for that, but it's still kind of disordered eating. You can just eat the cookies if you want what's bad about that. "You might quickly be hungry again" well then i eat more because evidently i didn't eat enough today. "This food doesn't have many nutrients but it can still be a part of a healthy diet" well sure but why are you still treating the muffin like it's a criminal. It also implies that there is an evil amount of muffin we need to moderate to avoid. "Here is a healthy snack" shows a low carb high fiber lowish fat snack. Why would healthy always involve a low caloric food every single goddamn meal. Also how the fuck is anyone supposed to take in enough calories if every meal is lentils and salad. It's the same logic as in other common diet tipps that's so utterly baffling to me, when people try to replace higher calory food with low calory substitutes. Because then i will just have to eat more to get enough calories???? It just means i ate a meal almost for nothing. Why are you disrespecting all the work your ancestors did to provide you with food options that give you enough calories in one meal instead of 1½ meals and a snack of zucchini pasta??? I'd have to spend double the amount of time eating.
I would love some nutritionist reels on how to make sure you get all your nutrients and enough of them more easily, but that's never the point. I have such trouble getting enough food in me because i barely have access to convenient ready made food nor energy to make myself food, and here are these people jumping through hoops to make sure they make nourishing themselves harder than necessary while claiming not to promote disordered eating (even if they are a lot better that full blown eating disorder promotion).
