yeah arthur dying is sad but do you ever just randomly remember how truly heartbroken merlin was after arthurs death, the utter confusion and fear and self hatred over feeling like he failed after all that time mixed with the indescribable sadness and heartbreak over losing his other half only for him to then find out he has to wait for arthur to return, a small glimpse of hope only for that hope to be dragged and torn for 1500 YEARS?????
