Floyd: Huuuuh. So even lions relax while listening to music, huh.

Floyd: They say that this king was always strategizing, so maybe it was important for him to have his relaxation time, huh.

Floyd: Y'know, Sea Lion-senpai's the same, but aren't lions always just sleeping?

Floyd: I thought they were supposed to be ferocious, but even when I went to the zoo as a part of our land boot camp, they were all asleep… That was a major letdown.

Kalim: Hm? What do you mean by boot camp? Did you attend somewhere else other than Night Raven College?

Floyd: Yeah. Uh, so basically, the land boot camp is basically where the merfolk that're lookin' to come up to the surface go to study and practice stuff about land.

Floyd: You live there for a month, and they do a ton of different lessons, like how to walk, or how to live on land.

Kalim: Wow, that sounds really cool! So, what kind of stuff did you learn at the zoo?

Floyd: Uhhh, something about figuring the differences out between land animals? I have a super hard time telling apart animals that look similar, so.

Floyd: At first, I thought a giraffe was just a horse with a long neck, and I couldn't even tell the difference between foxes, dogs, and racoons.

Kalim: FOXES AND DOGS AND RACCOONS～!? BUT THEY'RE COMPLETELY DIFFERENT!?

Floyd: Are they? They're all fuzzballs to me.

Floyd: But I could tell that an elephant was different from horses and the like, because it wasn't all fuzzy.

Floyd: Oh yeah, and the lions too. I thought all those cats I'd run into would one day grow large like them.

Kalim: EEEHH!! You'd mix up cats and lions too? I don't think I've ever seen cats with a mane…

Kalim: Ah, but… I guess I can't say anything. I used to think that when dolphins grew up, they turned into whales.

Kalim: I don't really know, but I think I can get how someone who was raised in the ocean could believe that a cat would grow into a lion.

Floyd: ―Oooh! That painting over there looks awesome. I'ma go check it out.

Floyd: The color composition in this painting's super amazing. The blue sky with the golden bug is a perfect combo.

Kalim: It's a painting of the Sorcerer of the Sands and a scarab! Both his posture and expression is really cool.

Floyd: I heard that this golden bug thing was the key to finding a magical cave… Why'd they make it look like a bug?

Floyd: Wouldn't that be hard to figure out? Insects and keys look nothin' alike.

Kalim: Hmmm, well, maybe… Maybe they tried to make it hard to figure out on purpose.

Kalim: They say there was some legendary treasure inside the cave. So I guess it's because no one would ever think a little bug would be the key, right?

Floyd: I get it. So then, if this was the ocean, the key might've been in the shape of a shell, or a crab.

Floyd: I bet it took the Sorcerer of the Sands a long time to find that magic cave because of that key.

Floyd: Or maybe, he was actually enjoying the treasure hunt?

Floyd: I know I get more excited tryin' everything I can to get my hands on something. The more difficult the better.

Kalim: What, have you gone treasure hunting too, Floyd?

Floyd: Not really treasure, but a ring.

Floyd: I once found this silver ring online that looks like an eel is wrapped around your finger.

Kalim: Woah! I've never seen a ring that looks like that before! I bet it'd look good on you.

Floyd: Riiight? But the manufacturers had already discontinued it. I wouldn't be able to find it so easily.

Floyd: And when something is hard to get… doesn't it just make you want it more?

Floyd: So, after that, I went looking for it, big time.

Floyd: I went 'round to a bunch of second-hand shops that carry the brand, and even asked my pops to reach out to some of his connections who'd know about stuff like that.

Floyd: I get bored pretty easily, so I usually don't try that hard trying to find just one thing. Cool, huh?

Kalim: You must have really wanted it, then! So? Were you able to find it?

Floyd: Yup. One of pop's connections was able to find it and get it for me.

Floyd: When I put it on, it totally felt like the ring was made just for me! And I got super attached to it.

Floyd: So then, I wore it pretty much all the time after that, even when I exercised or took showers…

Floyd: It ended up getting a ton of scratches, and got all tarnished, man～

Floyd: Silver stuff tends to degrade pretty quickly if you don't take care of it, but the ring's design was a bit complicated, so it was way too annoying to clean.

Kalim: Then, what if you remake it in platinum or white gold? They don't tarnish that easily. I can introduce you to one of my family's craftsmen!

Floyd: Naaah.

Kalim: Eh, why? I thought that was a pretty good idea…

Floyd: C'mon, Sea Otter-chan. I was all happy because it was hard to get my hands on.

Floyd: If I had someone make it for me, then that's not the same thing.

Floyd: It's 'cause it took a ton of hard work and searching for it was fun that I like that specific ring.

Floyd: Maybe it's a pain to clean, but I like it. So I'll use it until it breaks.

You had been on Luffy’s crew since almost day one. The straw hats found you on an abandoned island. You were on a pirate crew, but the waves and the storm that your crew passed through caused a wreck. You were no captain but only a healer. The pirate’s kidnapped you once they learned you were a healer. That doesn’t matter now. You're on Luffy’s crew; The straw hat pirates.

You and the others were currently at The Baratie. A fancy 5 star restaurant. You’ve been there for only a day and everything has turned to shit. Luffy was washing dishes, Usopp was getting drunk off his ass, Nami and Zoro were playing some alcoholic game, and you were sitting next to some man at the bar. You don’t know him, but he started talking to you. You’ll admit you're pretty drunk and you can’t help but be a flirt when you're drunk. Even though you were a flirtatious drunk, this man was not it for you. You’d rather have Zoro than anyone in this room. You couldn’t talk to him when he’s busy drinking, so you sat at the bar and kept taking shots and sips of your drink.

A little later Usopp came up to you and started lying to the people around you. He was telling a tale about how you saved a sea beast. You could hardly hear anything or anyone thanks to the alcohol. You did make out the sound of Zoro shutting up Usopp, “hey, Stop talking about her and talk about your own stories”. You weren’t sure why Zoro said that, but you were kinda glad since the last time someone heard you were a healer you were kidnapped. The next thing that happened shocked you. Two large arms snaked around your waist then picked you up. You yelped at the sudden grab. You tried to get out of the mystery arms till the person spoke, “calm down”. It was Zoro’s voice. You angrily replied to him, “I can’t calm down if you don’t tell me you're picking me up”. You’re not sure where he’s taking you but it was out of the restaurant, then to the Going merry. He took you all the way to your room. You were so drunk that when he laid you down in your bed you passed out.

You woke up the next morning with a painful headache, but not as painful as what was about to happen next. You walked into the gallery to see nami yelling at Zoro, Usopp looked scared, and Luffy had a confused expression on his face. Once Nami had stopped yelling you spoke up, “What is going on here?”. Nami replied very angrily, “ Zoro is going to get himself killed”. She continued to yell at Zoro. At the end of it Zoro ended up saying, “You said it yourself last night you ‘don’t have any friends’”. With that Nami stormed out of the room leaving everyone. Luffy talked to Zoro then left with Usopp. “I know you were screamed at for an hour, but what is going on?” you didn’t want to disturb Zoro as he cleaned his swords. Zoro lifts his head, “Why do you care?”. You sat down on a chair in the gallery, then shrugged at his question. “Maybe because I enjoy having you around. It’s nice to have a real fighter. Plus I enjoy the times….” your words slowly drift off as you thought back on the late nights with Zoro.

~Both you and Zoro would spend nights together when neither of you could sleep. It was enjoyable and calming. Sometimes you’d spend the night in silence, other times someone would talk, or both of you would talk. One time he tried to train you so that way if you needed to you could use a sword. It didn’t work out very well. You had slipped and grabbed onto his shirt. You fell onto the hardwood floor and Zoro landed right on top of you.~

Your thoughts were interrupted by Zoro’s voice, “You enjoy what times?”. You look up into Zoro’s eyes. “Remember when you tried to teach me how to use a sword” he nods his head, “But then i slipped and you fell on top of me”. He nods his head again. “What does that have to do with me fighting Mihawk?” he asks. “Well I’m just saying don’t die out there because I want to enjoy more of those kinds of moments with you”. You got up from your chair and walked out of the gallery. 

You were in the baratie at the bar when you saw the famous Mihawk walk by you, then sit down a few chairs away. You got up from your chair and sat down by him. “Listen I know you're going to duel Zoro today, I also know he’s not as strong as you. Injure him as you please but don’t kill him” You didn’t look at Mihawk as you said this. “Injure him as I please but don’t kill him. Those are strong words” You can feel Mihawk’s yellow eyes on you. “I’m a healer, so if you hurt him then I can fix the wounds. I can’t fix death” You finally look him in his eyes. He nods his head, “Fine if he doesn’t win then I’ll only injure him, but that's all I can say. It’s up to him if he wants to be killed”. Mihawk then gets up from his seat. Right before he exits the room he says one last thing to you, “The fight is about to begin”.

         Tallulah sat on her sister’s shoulders as Phil drove the boat across the ocean. They had seen so many fascinating things and Star, herself, couldn’t help but note things down as they went.

         They’d been up most of the night, Phil and Star taking shifts driving the boat as the children slept during the uninteresting downtime but Phil woke her and the children up as he saw a village in the distance. The sun was soon to be up too soon, so it would be very safe.

         “All right, rules before we make landfall,” Star called out to the two. “Stay close to Phil and I. Do not wander away. You both have your armor on already but don’t forget your sword. We’ll explore fully when the sun rises.”

         Both children nodded as Phil gave a nod as well to acknowledge she was right.

         “All right, here we are,” Phil said, parking the boat on the shore.

         Star put Tallulah down on the boat floor before climbing out with Phil. There were no mobs she could see so she helped her sister out as Phil helped her uncle. Together, the four of them walked to the village with the adult and teen in front and the children in tow behind them. As they walked, Star heard the start of a quill scratching and she turned to see who wanted to talk of the silent pair when she screamed.

         Tallulah was thrown away, blood already seeping into her clothes as she lost her notebook. Phil was startled as Star pulled her sword and he quickly followed as a pair of eyes came right for them.

         “Chayanne! Get behind us!” Phil shouted as he went to meet the beast. “(Y/N)! Get Tallulah!”

         Star rushed to her sister’s side, keeping her cool as she pulled out a health potion, quickly pouring it over wounds to let the little girl regain sense and thought.

         “You’re ok little sis.” She whispered before she heard Phil yell and a crash.

         She quickly whipped her head around to see Phil struggling to get up as Chayanne was quickly running from the monster, desperately swinging at it with his sword while trying to keep her distance. Star quickly shoved another health potion into Tallulah’s hand as she stood.

         “Get to Phil and give him that. I got to save Chayanne.”

         With that, she ran over with sword in hand as her sister held a hand out to her to stop. When her sister didn’t see, she raced to Phil, giving him the potion as Star shouted.

         “Hey, shithead! Look at me you fucking prick!” She goated as she struck something of the invisible beast.

         It gave a noise as the eyes looked at her and changed victims. Phil had the potion down in a quick swig and was standing once more as Chayanne went to attack the beast when it wasn’t looking at him.

         “Get to the boat!” Star shouted as she quickly moved back.

         Chayanne quickly shook his head.

         “GET TO THE BOAT!” She glanced at Phil. “It’s too strong! Back to sea! Get the kids! Its eyes are on me!”

         Phil hated it. This was his granddaughter too but she had a strong look in her eyes. One he’d seen on Will so many times before. He trusted her.

         “Tallulah! Chayanne! Boat now!” Phil ordered.

         Star didn’t want to; she knew she had no chance if this thing got close. But she had to keep it away. She needed to keep everyone safe.

         Tallulah hated it. Her sister was out there backing away from a deadly beast that took down Phil. But when Phil saw her hesitate while Chayanne was making a noise of protest but coming back, he picked up the young girl. She thrashed in panic but Phil ran her to the boat as he could hear the start of Star fighting, putting Tallulah in as Chayanne managed.

         As he went to turn around to tell Star to start hauling ass over, his heart sank as he watched her cough up blood as something spear her. Her sword fell from her hand. She looked at him, giving a shaky smile before she was thrown away. He stood in horror and shock as he heard crying behind him.

         The eyes turned to him as the still form lay on the ground now, as he could hear a familiar ping on the walkie…

         He gripped his sword as his wings stood puffed but he looked back at the crying, angry, distraught children making a choice he didn’t want to.

         “I’m so sorry (Y/N)…”

         He jumped in the boat and floored it back. Tallulah screamed in distress, unable to speak her words but it was all very clear to Phil as his heart broke. She wanted to go back. Save her sister! She wanted to do something, anything!!

         But…there was no point…Star had lost her last life…

         Wilbur was running like a madman after the news reached him. It had to be wrong. Phil must have seen wrong. He dropped everything and made his way for the QSMP land. He had to be wrong!

         He stumbled as he used the magic of the teleportation pillar to land on Phil’s Island. Looking up though, he clenched his hands. Inside Phil’s home, he could see Chayanne hugging Tallulah as he was also crying; all while Phil crouched in front of the two of them trying to comfort them both.

         Phil looked up as he heard the whoosh of magic, then looked at the pair, telling them he’d be right back before going to meet Wilbur.

         “Will…” He started.

         “This-This is all a joke? Right, Phil? Tommy’s been teaching Star shitty jokes since she was little. It’s just a shitty joke.” He tried to reason with his father.

         Phil gave him a sad look as he crossed his arms. “I’m sorry Will.”

         “She’s not gone! Where’s my little star!” Will shouted.

         But Phil was starting to cry and Wilbur only saw his father cry a handful of times, none of them ever good. It was always when the worst had happened.

         “Phil…(Y/N)…” He gripped his shirt.

         Then he was startled as a force ran into his legs. He looked down and saw Tallulah hugging him tightly as she sobbed. Wilbur started to tear up as he picked her up and hugged her just as tight.

         “I’m sorry I wasn’t there Tallulah. I’m sorry, I’m so sorry.” Wilbur sobbed.

         Phil had an arm gently holding Chayanne, who was gripping onto his shirt. It just all felt like a nightmare, but here they were…living the worst…

         Star gasped awake, looking around her wildly as she lay in bed. She…was in bed at Phil’s? Tallulah was asleep across the way and Chayanne’s bed was on the same side of the room with the boy sleeping as well. Star sat there confused as she touched her chest.

         The quiet in the room was ruined as the door slammed open with the sound of flailing wings. Phil stood at the door disheveled as he looked over at Star in shock; Chayanne was on the floor holding his sword in panic and Tallulah was trying to hide in fear.

         “W-What happened?” Star questioned.

         “You’re ok.” Phil breathed before rushing over and hugging her tightly.

         Tallulah gave a cry as she ran over and jumped on her sister’s bed, hugging her tightly. Star hugged them both, thoughts running through her head. Then a nightmare it shall be…It was all a nightmare now. Now though, everyone was going to be even more careful and once Wilbur made his new mad rush back to Phil’s he wasn’t leaving for as long as he could help it.

OKAY I FINALLY HAVE A LITTLE TIME ARRGAGRG I hope this aimless infodump is readable

so! Their designs and junk are a mess rn but I do have some stuff of them!!

Ignore the little dragon in the last I'm still working on Lloyd's whole... business. And! Don't mind the text in the pink one, I was just tryna think up silly nicknames!

Anyways! They aren't really... Traditional pirates? Y'know.. cause their crew size is like 5 + a child and ancient beast.

Under division is a small ramble

Cole's the "captain" and is a selkie (although I know they're usually seals I accidentally chose a sea lion)! He's the sea lion in the pictures and I'm desperately trying to work his skin into the design. I thought it'd be silly since he was raised in dance and entertainment.. and hey! Sea lions are known for that too!

(he wasn't meant to look so forsaken here, sorry Cole)

Jay is a mermaid (thing?) When in the water, he has the lower half reminiscent of an electric eel (I saw reminiscent as there are some major differences)! No one really has powers in this but he can still shock like that,, Ed and Edna are still human in this and I'm trying to remember if they still lived at a scrapyard or a shipyard.

Both Kai and Nya are only half mermaid! Nya ended up inheriting way more mermaid traits than her brother, who doesn't even have a tail in water, but still has a lot of human drawbacks. She can only breathe underwater for so long and ironically Kai can last down there longer. He just chooses not to since I thought it'd be funny to still let him be scared of water in this 😭 sorry Kai. He still has the recognizable sharper teeth and has bits and flashes of shimmery scales but is overall the most human of the bunch once you count out Cole's unskinned form.

I couldn't resist myself on Zane and ended up making him a siren. Mainly because.. bird! And also if he was going to be organic, I wanted to isolate him from the other sea related creatures. He has the wings and feathers of a gyrfalcon and can't swim as well in the ocean! He ends up bonding with Kai over this Kai originally hadn't liked him too much! Reasonably so since.. y'know.. sirens eat people. And mermaids in this.. although Zane eats human things as he was raised on it by a still very human Dr. Julien (who I guess is more of a bird-oriented wildlife scientist in this? ornithologist?). insert joke about him being a hand raised bird.

I don't have my sketchbook with me right now so I'm scrambling for pictures but ! Like all their designs, he's still a work in progress. Will most likely make his legs longer or something but this is just my ideas LOL

And anyways! Onto Lloyd! (And the others?)

I was struggling to decide what Lloyd should be,, like? A dragon could still very much work and his normal version is already so cool?? However, I ended up on leviathan.. a baby one. The serpentine aren't decided but Lloyd's still pretty much not taken seriously by the town. Still winds up being taken in by the "ninja!"

Garmadon is still locked up, although now at the bottom of the ocean! The Skulkin are drowned/dead pirates?

Wu is who I've been struggling to decide on as well! For whatever reason I've been contemplating making him like just some statue in the Destiny's Bounty that speaks to them.

There's plenty of other things going on,, Kai and Nya come to them on accident and Jay is over the moon to see other moons and wants to show them their "ways" despite having never even met others before. Cole is desperately trying to keep everyone in one place as they've accidentally made the perfect collection of the world's most valuable pelts.

Kai still raises Nya at the forge (which in this, is beachside), but years later there's a rise in pricing for the scales of mers and the boy decides that they need to leave in effort to protect her. Nya is devastated because this is their home! Where else would they even go?? They barely have any cash! Kai's decision is further inland AND with the money they get from selling the forge. Yadda, yadda, the buyer turns on them and they wind up in the ocean near their home! Kai's knocked cold, which is for the better as Nya swims them further and further into open ocean.

For the first time, Nya meets another mer as she tries to save her brother, and he helps them aboard a ship! The Destiny's Bounty! (Or perhaps a ship before it? It's all still up in air)

(Au: So when I found out Hobie's middle name is Larry short for Laurence. I decided to create another Hobie variant. Prowler Hobie name Law because his name in his world is Lawrence instead of Laurence. So Hobie Lawrence Brown.)

This is bad, very bad. No one expected a large anomaly to attack while the Spider-band with their backup dealing with another level ten anomaly.

Miguel shouted at the team, "A la puta! LYLA CALL FOR BACKUP!"

"MORE?" Lyla asked out loud as Spider-man 2099 runs up on the highest building seeing a large monster that had massive sea creature like crab with sharp spikes on its back and fangs.

The anomaly they were just dealing was a dangerous corrupt Mecha that Peni had to get the build Mecha suit to take down. All the Spider-heroes had to tied it down that way Peni could take out a Mech sword from her robotic back and stab the corrupted robotic being into the chest.

"Peni! Peni! You gotta get out of here!" Miles shouted out loud seeing how her Mecha is kneeling on the floor, a sign of exhaustion. This fight took a lot out of her.

"My body... I'm so weak, guys..." Peni said through the intercom being in her sit having all her energy use on her Mecha.

"Shit. Shit. Shit!" Miles saw the giant crab monster heading her way. "We gotta move the crab away from Peni! She's weak!" As he swings toward Peni's mecha's head.

"And we have to protect her giant robot, too!" Pavtri said out loud through the intercom.

Jess said, "Alright, Team A helps Peni. Everyone else follow my lead! Petra, you, Gabriel and Ben distract the monster."

"Man, I didn't think I would wake up today facing a Giant crab! What universe is that thing from?" Spider-ham shouted out loud as he sits on Deadpool's shoulders.

Punk Miguel shouted, "Can we focus on the main issue instead of arguing!"

Miguel 928 sighs, "We are trying to go as fast as we can! We still haven't gotten the back up we need!" He knew this web needs to be stronger and bigger to stop this damn monster. He calls Jess, "Jess, we need your team to pull the crab down!"

"We're working on it! But..." Jess sighs at the legs suddenly having spikes coming out ripping out the webs.

"But...?" All the Spider-heroes asked.

"It grew spikes on the legs!" She said with an exhausting tone. It's always something happening when they have a good plan. All the Spider-heroes groans being exhausted at another issue to deal with.

The monster hissed and roars through the air. "Okay, simple solution!" Maria 928 explained, "All Spider-heroes with talons and claws or anything sharp weapons. Cut the spikes!"

"I got a katanas if that helps?" Deadpool took out his swords.

"Yes, anything! We need to slow this monster down!"

"Morales, have Peni been taken to safety?" Miguel 2099 could feel sweat on his forehead as he and other Spider-heroes went to the monster to cut through the spikes.

Miles stood seeing the Mecha shut down or hand some haywire issue going on, "Uhhh, another problem..." "I dunno if that's a good idea... we still need to move the anomaly robot from here too!" Pavtri said.

"How are we gonna move that those things? They are huge and both of them shut down!" Web Weaver said out loud.

"We need to have Peni's Mecha running again!"

"But we need to get her out first." Noir said with a worry tone.

Everyone looks up at the portal seeing shadows, then a large high-tech motorcycle shooting out the portal.

The motorcycle had someone wearing in black Cyberpunk style; leather, cargo pants thick boots. A massive sleek helmet cover the face. The advance bike left a purple light from the back.

The rider push a button on his motorcycle as he let his motorcycle release wings for an easy landing. Following behind the motorcycle a large groups of Spider-Heroes jumping and swinging over.

"I thought we need Law for this situation." Lyla hums.

So Law is the guy on the motorcycle, which got Miles 42 grinning widely at Hobie. "You're so gonna be jealous!"

Hobie leans over to see the tall male shot up from the ground up. The group saw the mysterious male having long dreadlocks with golden cuffs, and added some colorful dyes of blue and purple into some locks.

"Law, you made it!" Miles 1610 gave him a side hug.

"Law, my man! What's good?" Miles 42 asked with big smile on his face under his Prowler mask.

"Sup." As the tall young man stood on the shoulder of the Mecha, he pushed a button on the side to reveal his face. His voice deeper and had a thick Brooklyn accent.

Pavtri let out a dramatic gasps, "OH MY BRAHMA! It's a Hobie Prowler variant!"

"The names Law, little spider." Law corrected the India Spider-man, his high tech boots are able to suction on the robot with the ability to defy gravity. "I never liked Hobart, thought that shit is for Boomers." His Heterochromia eyes are so brightly vibrant; right eyes is purple and left eye is Honey-brown eye. He kept that edgy punk look wearing black lipstick, and black eyeshadow with blue.

Law looks like a fine young man with those eyebrow piercings on his left side, he had one tear-drop piercing on his left side of his cheek. He had a well physique; lean with muscles and one arm that is attached with the Prowler claw. Pavtri blushes under his mask, "Why he sounds so hot!"

"Miles, you didn't tell us you got another Hobie by your side?" Gwen playfully teased.

Miles happily said, "Law is my friend!"

"Yeah, we get along fine with him." Miles 42 said as he let Law check out the Mecha.

"Is this the famous Spider-Punk 138B?" Law asked as he eyes on Hobie, "Huh, bit odd for a British boi that claims against colonization to be wearing that." He eyes at Hobie's red and blue suit under his punk clothing. "What is that? Red and Blue are we being too patriotic." He turns to Miles 1610 and Miles 42 being confused.

Spider-Punk looked rather offended until his Sunflower said, "Be nice, Law. Hobie doesn't get your jokes, man."

"Ah, my bad. My bad, sorry Brit boi." Law smirks widely as he enjoys poking at danger. A true Hobie nature one may say.

Miles 1610 got between them feeling the harsh stare down. "Hobie. Law. Law. Hobie!"

"Elo, mate. I neva heard of yuh because my Sunflower never mention you!" Spider-Punk coldly said.

The Prowler chuckles with amusement. "Hi, my name is Law- just Law or the Prowler! I wasn't bitten by a damn Spider, but I did create a drug that gave me super strength, and speed. During my years of stealing shit, fighting cops, and up holding justice on the streets of Brooklyn. Protecting my community, my brothers and sisters! I prefer no labels- in fact don't call me a hero. I rather be called a threat so the damn pigs not to fuck with me! And I work along with-" Billie 1613 came swinging down being so happy, "WITH ME!!! He's my big bro!" She gave Law a big hug. "I'm so happy you came!"

"Whoa! Whoa! Law knows Billie? You two are from the same universe?" Gwen asked being mind blown.

Billie nodded being happily, "Yeah! He and my brother use to date until... you know." Her voice went quiet about the mention of her big brother, then she said, "Law had dedicated his life fighting off corruption in the streets. When i became Spider-woman, he was technically the first person I told him and we work together!"

"I have to protect her for my Miles." Law shrugs, "What's the point of being a vigilante, when i can't protect my beloved's lil sista!" He left his arm on Billie's shoulder then his paint plump lips twist in a wide grin, "Miles," he pointed at Miles 1610, "you left your pullover back at my crib!" He decided to go near Miles 1610 to check the head of opening of the Mecha.

"Pullover?" Hobie asked sounding jealous.

Billie 1613 giggles, "It's a type of sweater!"

"And you left your hair tie." Law added as he kept checking on the door giving a little tug to feel it. His robotic claws attached to his arm made clicks as gently taps it.

"Oh, I've been looking for that! Man, I was just at your crib, too!" Miles 1610 sighs, "I thought my Billie hid it."

Gwen and Pavtri looks surprised feeling like this was deja vu but the other way around. Pavtri as he looks at Hobie knowing that man is jealous. "Ah, see! Told ya that jacket looks fire on you, man!" Law grins at Miles 1610 wearing his leather jacket.

"Hehe." The Spider-man with the leather jacket giggles before he went to Noir side, "I feel like it's not my thing, y'know? It's cozy! I was freakin' freezing at your place."

Billie went to the side with laughter, "Oh yeah, Law loves his place ice cold! Man acts like he lives in Alaska!" She swings trying to stop large debris falling on civilians.

Miles 42 tug at his own black grey jacket, "See, I told you Spandex be whack!" Then he glances at Hobie being near his boyfriend, with those goofy bug eye mask staring down at him. "Y'know, this guys thought it would be smart to break the shit open!"

Now, Miles 42 didn't have issues with Law, they just clicked into being good friends like the other Miles' variants. The Cyberpunk Prowler merely turns to Spider-Punk, "A bit of advice, Brit Boi. It's not about using all your strength," He touches jiggles the stuck opening, "it's about knowing the weak points are." As the opening gave a weak shake on the stuck latch, "And just," One strong pull, "Like," one more time, till the opening pop off with the latch broke, "That!" Having a big smug on his face that gave Hobie the ick.

"Wow, so amazing!" Billie 1613 and Pavtri gawks.

Noir and Miles 42 nodded in approval. Miles 1610's eyes widen on his mask, "Wow, Law! You're so cool!" Helping him and the other to pull up the opening showing a knocked out Peni in her tight Spider-woman suit that's connected to the Mecha. Even the screens had warning signs with a teary Chibi robot.

"Peni! Hey," Noir went to check on her giving her a gentle pat on her cheek, "Come on, princess. Stay with us."

"Huh?" Peni mumbles being so weak, her eyes closed back again.

"She must be exhausted seeing how she's unconscious." Miles 42 said as he unbuckled the seatbelts.

Miles took off his leather jacket to cover Peni's upper body, "Here maybe this will give her some comfort." The jacket is heavy so a heavy material can bring comfort, right?

Noir carried out Peni with the leather jacket on her. "Okay, I'll send her back to HQ. You guys, figure out how to move these robots out of here!"

"Right ahead of you!" Law already went down to the chest of Peni's Mecha, using one his claws to cut the metal, "Heh, Vibranium seems to be common in these universes, huh?" He pulled up his Prowler mask to cover his face. "Doe Deer, gonna need you to use those electric powers of yours. The Mecha needs a jump drive."

"Doe Deer?" Gwen asked.

Miles 1610 shyly scratch the back of his neck, "Haha, he calls me that!" Then hops into the seat of the Mecha, "On it, Law!"

"While, you guys focus on that. I'ma go help finish up the web!" Billie swings up having to do tricks.

"Hobie, we gotta save more people!" Pavtri shouted, he and Gwen jumps in midair using their webs to swing around the area.

Spider-Punk mutters being jealous the way Law and his Sunflower seem to be so close and friendly, "Bloody wonderful!" Just as he was about to take his leave he heard Law's voice.

"Be careful out there, Brit Boi."

Spider-Punk merely sneered under his mask then he saw familiar variants pass them. A male version of Gwen came by called Gideon swing by, "Awe snap! Law is that you! Nice seeing you, man!" Passing by to help stop the giant crab.

"OMG! Law, is that you! Ohh I'm so happy you finally join the Spider Society with Billie Boo!" Mimi 1015 came swinging by.

Miles 43 came from the other side, "Whoa, man! Welcome to the chaotic life of Spider Society, POOKIE!" He laughs having to swing around.

"Okay, Bookie." Law chuckles then said to Mimi, "Hey, gorgeous!"

An Emo Pavtri variant came swinging by, "Hey, Law!"

"Hey, man."

Spider-Punk watches every Spider-hero saying, "Hey Law. What's up, man! Nice seeing you!" What is going on? Since when his counterpart became so famous?

"Hey, Law baby." Punk Miles came by being a bit flirty.

Law chuckles lowly being busy. Spider-Punk didn't trust him, especially leaving him with his Sunflower. Then he saw Miles being so excited being inside the Mecha, his sweet Miles isn't the type. Hobie had to suck it up.

"Hobie!"

He quickly went to his Sunflower, "Yes, Sunflower?"

"Mwah! Love you," Miles kisses his mask feeling their masks together. "Be safe, okay?"

"Awe, luv. I'm always am." Hobie snuggles his boyfriend before going to help the mission.

While Miles sit in the Mecha, he heard Law say, "Heh, he's a jealous, huh?"

"Always!"

"Ha, I was the same way." Law said to him before he tweet some wires from the Mecha.

"Guys! Hurry up! That monster is- Oh hey, Law." Mariana 1022 came down to warn but smiles happily at Law, "Having fun?"

"Hah, you can say that, Bonita."

That made Mariana giggles into a shrill girlish tone being bashful, "Your such a flirt Law." She playfully shoves him then said, "Oh, you guys better hurry up. That monster is one tough cookie!"

"Don't worry. We'll get this robot moving." Miles happily said.

Then Margo spoke through the intercom, "Miles, is your team able to move the Mecha?"

"Huuh, we getting there."

"OKay, so came near the portal. My team set up a large Go-Home device to send the anomaly Mecha back.

Then the large monster started to turn into a different color and roars! "You guys hurry up! The webs aren't holding it much longer!" Sun Spider shouted as every Spider-hero got away from the crab.

"Alright! Lil Doe, do your thang!" Law jumps of the Mecha while Marian swing away. The dark skinned anti-hero jumps on his motorcycle as he looks up at the Mecha.

Miles got his hands glowing with electricity, "Got it!" He uses all his Venom Strike power to jump start the Mecha, as the whole body light up by the powerful electric shock, the systems of the robot went back up and the seat latched to Miles' body. His eyes glowing golden honey having to connect with the Mecha and saw the Sp//dr being active. "This is so fucking sweet! Whoa!"

The large Spider-man Mecha began standing up as Miles takes control. "Ugh, he's so lucky!" Billie 1613 said to Miles 42.

"Right!" Miles 42 mentally nerding out.

When Miles took over the Mecha, "Ugh, it's pretty damage guys. I think I can hold down the Crab after i move the anomaly robot." He was able to move the anomaly toward Margo's team where they have the Go-Home device fully activated on the ground.

"Whoo! Go Miles!" Billie shouted having to swing high above.

The crab roars at the robot Mecha, Law uses his motorcycle to launch some bombs at the monster's legs. The punk Prowler droves between the legs having to use it's own electric rope ties around the legs.

After the epic fight, everyone went to celebrate on HQ. Close friends went to check on Peni seeing she's in recovery and needed rest. When she woke up, she was able to come to the small party in a bar area.

"So Law, how are you so cool!" Pavtri asked out loud.

Hobie merely rolled his eyes, Miles hug his boyfriend's arm, "Bae, you were jealous of him, weren't you."

"Ha, me? Nah, luv." Hobie plays it off, "He's an alright lad."

"He's really cool like you, bae." Miles kisses his boyfriend cheek.

2. PISSBABY TSUKISHIMA

"BYE MA!! LOVE YOU TOO! SEE YOU AFTER SCHOOL!" y/n screamed out as she shut the door behind her. today was the day that y/n started school at karasuno high. she wasn't nervous, not at all. y/n never had any trouble making friends. she was an outgoing person and was easy to get along with.

beginning her walk to school, she decided to text the group chat to see how everyone was doing. the gc was originally made by the twins and y/n for chaotic reasons, but sooner or later they actually used the group chat for important reasons like planning or just occasionally checking up on each other.

'i miss them, but I'm gon beat them up when i see them. wanna act all tough cuz I'm 10 ½ hours away. just wait till i visit them.' y/n thought.

this is basically the format for each conversation that happens. y/n going into the group chat to check up on everyone to make sure they're okay, then the twins start ganging up on her until kyoya gets annoyed and tells them to stfu because he's trying to relax and he can't silence his phone. it was funny because when they got back to school, she would pretend like nothing ever happened and continued to flirt with kyoya.

"oh, there's the school!" she pointed out to literally no one. there were a bunch of students flooding in the gate. "gauh LEE.. that's a lot of damn people.”

she continued her slow pace to the school, not really caring about what time she got there, as long as she was before lunch. she was gonna be a bit late, either way, seeing as she had to go to the front office for her schedule.

"well, time to go beast mode." #alpha

"All right Ms. l/n, welcome to our class! go sit behind yamaguchi. Yams! raise ur hand!" the teacher yelled out. y/n had gotten to school on time, but joined the rest of the students during their third class, since the VP took her on a small tour of the school after giving her the schedule.

she scanned through the sea of students to see a timid-looking boy raising his hand. he was cute, and looked to be a few inches taller than y/n. he had freckles and a nice mop of green hair standing on top of his head. if his face was red, he'd be a human strawberry.

with her black and blonde faux locs swaying behind her, she went to sit in her newly designated seat behind the boy who was now known as yamaguchi. she pulled out a notebook and opened it to a blank page, which was deemed useless seeing that she had already learned what was being taught.

bored, she pulled out her headphones, opening spotify, she pulled up her chill playlist, she clicked shuffle play, smiled, and relaxed a bit seeing the first song that came up. it was ' Big Poppa - the notorious b.i.g'. it was one of her favorite songs to chill to.

"hey, it's time for science... " was what y/n heard as she removed her headphones. it was yams, telling her that it's time for the next subject.

now that she had the slight chance to talk to him, she decided to say what had been on her mind for when she saw him.

"thanks. y'know, you're really cute by the way. you look like someone i'd accidentally bump into in the street and u'd apologize and i'd say "no really its all my fault" then start talking to much cuz i got nervous. that's a compliment by the way."

'...what?' yams was shocked yet confused. he wasn't used to out of the blue compliments like that, or really at all. especially not from girls, and a really attractive one at that. but aside from the initial shock, why the fuck was it so specific and detailed?

"oh! uhm- thank you! you're really pretty yourself!"

"thank you! and thanks for waking me up! wanna be friends?"

"oh, no problem. and sure!! "

'that was odd...' tadashi thought to himself as he turned to face front. "damn, that was quick, yamaguchi" his childhood friend, tsukishima, teased. "im surprised you didn't stutter ur ass off.”

tsukishima kei was a very tall individual. he had short, blonde hair and was more on the thinner, lanky side.

"oh piss off tsuki, ur just mad that i talked to the pretty new girl before you, loser." yams shot back.

"BOOO!! the cafeteria sucks ass. that's why I always ate in the club room." y/n complained with a big ole thumbs down.

although she was pretty extroverted, she didn't like all the extra loud noise and nosy people. there are some hating ass hoes back at Ouran, but she couldn't give less of a fuck. all they ever did was talk shit because they were jealous of her relationship with the hosts, but she knew it was part of the deal when she became friends with them.

"wah wah, cry me a river. either sit with us or not, jeez." blabbered smart- ass tsuki.

"actually, you're in luck! we and a few others are all going to meet and eat lunch in the gym to go over some stuff for our club, you can join if you want!" yams offered.

she happily accepted the offer and continued to walk along with them to the cafeteria, then to the gym where they would eat. they stopped by the vending machine for y/n, because her thirsty ass drank all her water before lunch, now craving a nice refreshing beverage to wash down the curry she's about to fuck up.

after a few more short minutes of walking, they had finally reached the gym and heard arguing coming from the inside, not knowing that the moment she steps into that gym, she'd be going on a wild trip.

Whats the General idea of humans in Twisted Wonderland? And What do the students from Heartslabyul, Scarabia & Pomefiore think of the humans that their dorms represents? +what does Malleus and Lilia think of humans? (If they're still immortal in this au)

Oh boy! *cracks knuckles* More worldbuilding! And it's a doozy of a question too! :D

To start off, I'll answer the easiest of the questions: what are the Great Seven? I've broken them down as follows:

The Queen of Hearts--human

The King of Beasts--manticore (still in beast form as he is in game)

The Sea Witch--kraken

The Sorcerer of the Sands--human

The Beautiful/Fairest Queen--human

The King of the Underworld--centaur (sleipnir variation. Yes, I know it's more Norse, but I see him having multiple smoke-like legs as a centaur akin to his toga)

The Fairy of Thorns/Thorn Fairy--dragon (depicted with tail and dragon wings that fold over her shoulders like a cloak or out like in the live action movie)

Now, originally I was going to make them all based off some form of monster or other mythology...but aside from Jafar, nothing really seemed fitting for the remaining two, and so I left all three as humans. Thus, we are left with the questions: how are humans perceived? What do the three dorms think of the very humans their dorm represents? 🤔

To start off, it's safe to say that they are still revered in Twisted Wonderland even amongst monsters--both magical and non-magical due to their accomplishments and noble efforts to mend the bonds between humans and monsters. Of course, much like we saw in the movies, they were anything but the great beings paraded about and Yuu still experiences the dreams leading to an overblot. That being said though...

For the general idea on how humans are depicted, the best way I can describe them is that the stories are a mixture of: old wives tales, Brother's Grimm Fairy Tales, and a few surviving handfuls of Disney-esk "love shall overcome hate" stories and movies--only, much more dramatic and dangerous because hey, monster abilities! 😂

Skimming over the Disney like ones, those sort of stories are of the few humans where the princesses choose to be with them and vice versa, though by comparison the humans are shown defending and protecting their monster counterparts. I gotta think on which ones would have been monster and which ones human, but for the most part I'm holding off on the RSA side of things until we find out more about that side of Twisted Wonderland and not just the little bits that are sprinkled in here and there. ^_^;

As for the "dark side" of the species though...the mythology of this AU depicts many of them being violent, vindictive, cunning, and cruel. Urban legends suggested that many of them were magicless, growing jealous and fearful of their monster neighbors. It's not hard to imagine how things turned out in a world where humans were defensive and reactive versus dealing with those monsters who wield magic and already don't look favorably upon those who don't. Needless to say...it did not turn out well.

Rumor has it that the most powerful magicians came together to banish humans from Twisted Wonderland. Others believe that the Great Seven sent them to another world. Yet many simply believe that humans just...died off. No one knew the truth, and the very few who did even remember when humans roamed the lands have only a faint memory. Malleus wasn't born yet when this happened, but Lilia does have some recollection of them much like he does when he's in history class and remembering events happening differently.

Well, now you have a better understanding on why everyone is so confused and baffled by Yuu's arrival and behavior~! 😃

Now, as for the students themselves? Well of course they respect the Great Seven, and it's considered an honor being in their respective dorms. I'll give a brief overview of points that I feel need to be pointed out.

For Heartslabyul? Granted, the Queen of Hearts being human does make it a little iffy given how strict she is, but what helped solidify her role as one of the Great Seven was the fact that she held everyone to those standards--it didn't matter if they were human or monster, she gave them the same set of expectations without question and gave both species the same opportunity to fix mistakes for breaking certain rules (such as stealing tarts, etc).

For Scarabia, the Sorcerer of the Sands was respected by the students for his intelligence and cunning, though his appearance and behavior resembling a monster species known as a gorgon helped with that. As a result, he essentially has the second easiest time getting respect from the monsters in Twisted Wonderland. The one who had the easiest time?

Why, the Fairest Queen of course. It's no argument that she was considered the most beautiful to both humans and monsters alike, her diligence and determination to pursue her goals rivaling the respect for her skills and abilities in poisons, astrology, and alchemy. It's even been something of a point that many monsters actually use as a role model to remind them of what it takes to pursue their own goals and dreams.

- Tries to stay awake on the tube and train. On the former he’s glad to have found a seat, too tired to keep himself standing. On the train, he’s glad he has your shoulder to rest his head on (and subsequently use as a pillow for a nap that’s totally not a nap).

- On days like this he wants to do everything together. The usual shower while you make breakfast gets swapped for a two-person bath, a little moment to enjoy together while enjoying a light snack like a fruit salad.

- Alfie loves it when you towel his hair. It’ll immediately cause him to purr.

- After he’s made sure you’re nice and dry as well as dressed in one of his hoodies, he’ll tag along to the kitchen.

- Now, no matter if he’s still worn and haggard from a night lost to the beast inside, he insists on making you breakfast. Although you know protesting is of no use, you have one extremely effective weapon to use against him.

- Wolfy.

- The silly nickname you gave him when he confessed to being a werewolf. You meant it as a very bad joke, but knew he was serious when he didn’t return your smile.

- Now throw in some beard scratches and you, my dear, have the Alpha of the Camden pack on his knees.

- Hey, whatever works to get him to sit down on the chaise longue by the window in the living room, which provides a marvellous view of the sea. He needs rest and relaxation, not his usual incessant worrying about you.

- And he worries a lot.

- Though Alfie might not show it, he’s mortified of the consequences which come with the very real potential the Wolf can be unleashed if he doesn’t watch his temper.

- If he loses himself for a split second in your vicinity, he could potentially kill you. Because even though he’s aware the Wolf is in love with you too, there’s nothing to protect you once instinct kicks in and it’s either kill or be killed.

- And if he comes to his senses and your mauled body is the first thing he sees, well…

- Let’s say Camden will lose its King and Highgate will have a royal tomb.

- So he has to make sure he’s safe for you.

- Some of his rings and bracelets have been swapped out for ones that contain silver to supplement his medication.

- Alfie has asked his doctor to up the dosage of the drugs he takes to suppress the Wolf and slow its influence over his mind and body. The same goes for the suppressants.

- Lycanthropy is a terminal condition. Not in the traditional sense of a literal death, but rather the death of the Human Self. This phenomenon is known as ‘going feral’.

- It’s extremely rare for Ferals to regain their Human Self, though such cases have been reported and are a hot research topic in the academic community.

- Alfie is such a case.

- Fell in love the moment he saw you admiring the Aira Force. No, he did more than that.

- He imprinted in you.

- After thirty-four years of silently pondering the question why everyone seemed to find their mate with ease and he didn’t, he found the answer.

- He simply needed to wait because his little dove wasn’t born yet.

- (I’m sorry, but I kinda have this canon of Alfie having a partner younger than him. Let’s say at least half his age. Look, he’s Papa Solomons for a reason, eh?)

- Despite knowing how detrimental it is to his Human Self, Alfie likes to shift and doze off after brekkie. After all, he’s spent the majority of his life as a Wolf and therefore is more comfortable in his other form.

- If it’s winter, you can frequently find him curled up by the fireplace.

- But today the weather is rotten and the craving for your company insatiable. Henceforth, after an elaborate breakfast enjoyed in comfortable silence, you two crawl into bed.

- Alfie loves reading, but he can’t seem to keep his eyes open. From the corner of your eye, you notice him starting to nod off yet fiercely fight the fatigue.

- Nevertheless, soon after, a soft sonorous snoring mingles with the tapping of the rain against the window. You put your own book to the side to gently pluck his (The Language of Food by Annabel Abbs) out of his big wolf paws and lift his glasses off of his nose to put them on his bedside table.

- Regardless of his unconscious state, Alfie pulls you flush against him after you’ve manoeuvred him into a more comfortable position. Legs entwined, one hand cradling the back of your head, and his back towards the door, he holds you.

- Because he’s your Wolfy.

- Your protector.

- The Queen’s wolf.

Knowing that the bus was going 'back to school', Luca had pictured something like the school he and Giulia attended in Genova. It was housed on several floors of an ornate old building, on a street that also housed shops and apartments. Humans seemed to like living all piled on top of each other in small spaces, so that everything and everyone they might need was within easy reach. For somebody accustomed to the broad, shallow bottom of the Ligurian Sea, it had taken some getting used to.

This place was not like that. The building, identified by a sign as Flatwoods Middle School, was only a single storey tall, with flat roofs and very few windows. There was a broad open field behind it, where a group of monster children were playing something similar to football. In front of the building was a big car park with rows of young trees and a small fountain on the broad path to the front door.

The fountain was a welcome sight, because by now Luca and Alberto were starting to dry off again. They pushed their way through the kids leaving the bus and ran ahead to jump in the water, rolling around and splashing to get good and soaked.

Unfortunately, there'd been a girl sitting on the fountain rim reading a book. She had eight spidery legs but a humanoid torso and hair in pigtails, and she was wearing a black cardigan with a lace collar and a ribbon choker with an Egyptian ankh. She shrieked as they splashed her, and scrambled to her many feet.

“Sorry, Miss!” said Luca.

She stared at them, uncomprehending.

“We're sea monsters,” Luca added.

“Not good if we get too dry,” Alberto agreed.

The girl examined her wet book and brushed some water off a page, then scuttled away.

“Will you need to keep doing that all afternoon?” asked Jeanne, as she and Marie ushered the kids towards the buildings.

“Yes, Miss Lavigne,” said Luca.

“We'll see if we can't make it easier for you,” Marie decided. Jeanne nodded.

Alberto climbed out of the fountain and put his hands on his hips as he considered the building in front of them. “It doesn't look much like your school,” he observed. Luca had sent him some photographs in the mail.

Luca nodded. “I don't think it's gonna be much like it inside, either.”

Alberto stood there a moment longer then clapped Luca on the back. “It'll be a breeze,” he said, though there was uncertainty in his voice. “Just...”

“... just stay wet?” Luca guessed.

“Right.” Alberto nodded and followed the monster children indoors, head and tail held high. Luca hurried after him.

Flatwoods Middle School had looked quiet from outside, but inside it was absolutely swarming. Monster kids of every possible shape and size were taking things out of lockers or putting them in, talking in groups, or engaged in any of a dozen other activities. Three girls, dressed in uniforms tailored for their varying number of limbs and heads, were poring over a piece of paper and giggling helplessly. Two slug-like beasts, one in a baseball cap, were bouncing a small ball back and forth with their heads, until a red, crocodile-like adult came and confiscated it. A polka-dot creature was fiddling with colourful cube toy as the group went by, and one of the returning kids waved to it.

“Darse por vencido, Miguel!”

The being called Miguel waved back, then returned its attention to its cube.

Alberto decided to try this phrase out. He poked the armoured back of a spiky yellow creature that was holding a large orange ball. “Hey, darse por vencido!” he said with a cheerful grin.

“Uh... sure,” the spiky kid said uncertainly.

An alarm suddenly rang. Luca nearly jumped out of his skin. He grabbed Alberto's arm, but nobody else seemed to consider this an emergency. The students shut their lockers and quickened their steps – or their flapping, hopping, or slithering – but they didn't flee the building. Instead, they ended their conversations with their friends and dispersed into various rooms. Luca kept a tight grip on Alberto as they followed their lifelines, Miss Lavigne and the crab boy named Harry, through a particular door.

Inside was a classroom that looked fairly normal at first, but then Luca began to notice the weird details. One wall had a map hanging on it, but it wasn't a map of anywhere Luca recognized. In another place was a poster labelled The Night Sky, but there were no familiar constellations. Above the blackboard was a row of portraits of monsters in old-fashioned clothing.

The desk, however, were entirely familiar, and the students settled down at them much as students did anywhere. Marie-Jeanne ushered Alberto and Luca to two empty seats at the back, where there was a sink on the wall.

“There we go,” said Marie. “There's water right there, if you need to wet down again.”

“Just try not to disrupt the class too much,” Jeanne added.

“Yes, Miss Lavigne,” said Luca politely.

“We'll be as quiet as mice,” Alberto promised.

Both of Marie-Jeanne's heads nodded, and she went to the desk at the front to begin the lesson. “Well,” said Marie,” since on a regular day this would be our period for history, let's talk about what we learned at the factory today in light of that. Who can tell me something about the history of the energy industry?”

A scattering of hands, tentacles, wings, and at least one foot went up.

“Yes, Heather.” Marie pointed to a girl.

The child in question rather looked like a heather plant, with spiky fur in green and pink. “Scream power was rationed in some places until just five years ago, as a result of the Great Door Crash!” she announced.

“That's correct,” said Marie pleasantly. “We grew up in a small town with rationed scream, actually.”

Jeanne, meanwhile, chose one of the boys. “Arthur! What can you tell us?”

Arthur was a glossy green slug-like creature with skinny arms and a pair of curling, ram-like horns. “Today was the first Code Black in monster history!” he said excitedly.

This was met by an awkward silence.

“I think that's a little premature,” said Marie primly.

“It's possible,” Jeanne admitted.

“But not likely,” said Marie.

“Everybody in the parking lot was talking about it,” said Arthur.

“That doesn't mean it's anything more than a rumour,” Marie told him, while Jeanne nodded. “If anything actually happened, I'm sure there'll be an official announcement.”

“Or maybe there won't be,” said a girl who looked like nothing so much as a dish of blue jelly, with eyes and a pink bow on top. “Maybe they'd hide the truth in order to avoid a mass panic. You all know humans are deadly poisonous.”

Luca looked at Alberto and found him looking back, not sure what to make of any of this.

“You mean venomous,” said a striped, gecko-like boy, who was wearing glasses. “If it bites you and you die, it's venomous. If you bite it and you die, it's poisonous.”

“What if I bite it and it dies?” asked Arthur.

“Then you're venomous,” said the boy in the glasses, rolling his eyes. “Duh.”

“Humans aren't venomous or poisonous,” another kid announced. “It's just that their mouths are so filthy that after one bites you die of infection.”

The jelly waved a dismissive hand. “Either way, why would they tell us and risk society collapsing when they could just quietly kill anyone who got contaminated and cover it up? There might have been dozens of incursions and we would never know.”

Luca was still damp, but he got up and sidled over to the sink to splash himself again. Alberto did likewise. A few kids looked back over their shoulders at them, but nobody seemed terribly interested.

“Okay, kids,” said Jeanne, raising her hands. “Why don't we just...”

“We should ask Harry,” Arthur volunteered. “His family owns the place.”

Alberto and Luca were forgotten entirely as all eyes – averaging more than two per individual – turned towards the grey crab-like boy.

“I don't know any more than you do,” Harry told them. “If there was an incident, Dad might say something about it at supper tonight.” He glanced at Luca and Alberto as they returned to their seats, but his eyes didn't linger on them. “If he does, I'll tell you about it tomorrow.”

“Yes, but will you tell the truth?” asked the jelly. “You have a vested interest.”

“I'll tell you whatever I find out, Michelle,” Harry huffed. “On my honour.”

“What is honour worth when it comes from the establishment?” asked Michelle.

“Enough!” barked Jeanne, and to Luca's astonishment she breathed a bit of fire. Even Marie seemed shocked by this, and the class recognized it as a sign that their teacher was losing her patiences. They quickly sat up straight and looked attentive.

Marie gently took over again. “Why don't we go back to what Heather said about the Great Door Crash?” she suggested. “Who wants to tell me about that?”

There was less enthusiasm now. For a moment nothing happened, and then with a sigh, one grey hand went up.

“Yes, Harry?” Marie asked, while Jeanne held her mouth shut and exhaled smoke through her nostrils.

Harry looked around smugly. “Between 1939 and 1945 over a hundred thousand closet doors lost their access to the human world. But my grandfather Henry Waternoose the First developed a more efficient way to store and distribute every decibel of scream power that remained, and founded Monsters Incorporated to rebuild the door bank so that now there's more scream than ever.”

“Thank you, yes,” said Marie.

Jeanne sighed, letting out a final cloud of grey smoke that gathered in the air above her. “Yes, very good, Harry, although it would have been nice if somebody else could have answered that. Socorro, do you have a question?” she pointed to a lizardlike creature with spines down its back and big red eyes, which had raised a webbed hand.

“Why did the doors fail?” Socorro asked.

“Nobody knows,” Marie told her. “It's still a bit of a...”

It felt like lightning passed down Luca's spine as he realized he knew the answer, and before he had properly thought about what he was going to do, the habit of school took over and his hand shot up. “They had a war!” he said.

Everybody stared at him.

“Who?” asked Jeanne.

“The humans,” said Luca. Belatedly, he realized he probably shouldn't have said anything, but he'd already started now. There was no going back. “That's, uh... that's what my uncle says. They had a big war that went on for years, and thousands of buildings were destroyed, so their closets would be destroyed, too.” He was starting to put this together. The monsters used closet doors to get to the human world and... make kids scream? Because they used it as power for something? That sounded weird, but Luca didn't actually know where humans go their electricity from, although it had something to do with lightning, so who was he to say?

“Well, that's certainly an interesting theory,” said Marie delicately.

Luca sank in his seat a little, as everybody gave him funny looks. That had happened before, when he'd tried to answer a question in school and had ended up saying something humans thought was weird. Everybody was staring, wondering what was wrong with him, and he wished he could disappear.

Despite that embarrassment, by the time the class was over Luca was pretty sure he had this figured out. In order to get back to Portorosso, all he and Alberto had to do was go back to the factory and find the door that led to Rocco's closet. It would be easy.

The bell rang, and the kids scooped up their books and filed out of the classroom. Luca and Alberto stopped to wet themselves down in the sink one last time, and missed some minor drama in the process. Somebody shrieked, and they turned around to see the blob named Michelle pointing an angry gelatinous finger at the gecko boy.

“Miss Lavigne!” she wailed, “Lewis stepped in me!”

“You stopped right in front of me!” Lewis protested. He shook a wad of goo off his foot. It dropped to the floor and rolled across it to join back up with the rest of Michelle.

“You'd have seen me if you were looking where you were going, instead of reading a book!” Michelle informed him.

The two continued to argue as they headed into the hall, leaving only four people in the classroom – or perhaps five, depending on whether one counted Marie-Jeanne as one or two. There was the teacher, the boys, and Harry Waternoose.

“Follow me,” Harry told them.

Luca no longer had misgivings about this. If Harry's father owned the factory, then they had to stick to him like barnacles. They would just have to be very careful not to let him see them dry.

“Sir,” Luca said, as Harry led them up the hall, “we need to go back to your father's factory.”

Harry scuttled up to a locker and opened it. “What for?” he asked.

“We, um... let something there,” said Luca.

“I can tell Dad to have people look for it.” Harry stashed some books and picked up a bag, then shut the door again.

“You can't,” said Alberto. “It's hidden. We have to get it ourselves.”

Harry looked suspicious, but for the moment he did not ask any questions. Instead, he made his way through the teeming hallways to the entrance. Alberto and Luca were still good and damp, but seeing this crush of people and knowing now what would happen if they transformed made them jumpy. When they passed a drinking fountain, Alberto took advantage of it to splash his face, then put his thumb on the nozzle to spray Luca, too.

Unfortunately, not all the water went where he intended. Luca heard a startled cry and spun around to see that some of it had hit the spider-like girl in the ankh necklace. She glared at them.

“Sorry!” said Luca.

She wiped water off her face, then scowled and scurried away.

In front of the building, students were running around or sitting on the grass and talking, or getting onto one of a line of yellow buses that were now parked waiting on the street. Luca wasn't looking forward to riding in one of those again, so he was relieved when Harry didn't go in that direction. Instead, their new friend led them to the parking lot, where there was a car waiting.

At least, Luca was pretty sure it was a car. It was car-shaped, and yet very different from the little cars he was familiar with from Portorosso and Genova. It was black, low to the ground, and very, very long, longer than Massimo's fishing boat. The windows were dark so they couldn't see inside, but then one slid soundlessly open to reveal the driver, who appeared to be a blue octopus with a handlebar moustache.

“Hi, Armstrong,” said Harry. “This is Luca and Alberto. They're coming over.”

“Of course, Master Harry,” said the octopus.

They climbed in. Luca had ridden in cars before, and had found them cramped and uncomfortable. This one, however, was spacious with big soft seats that were almost more like sofas. They sat down, and Harry opened a little door under the seat and pulled bottles of cold water out of a tiny refrigerator for them.

“Thank you,” said Luca politely.

Alberto opened his bottle and poured the contents over his head. “So was that different from your school?” he asked.

“Kind of,” Luca said. “My school is smaller, and we learn about different things, but we do sit at desks and do math problems, and there are maps and things like that.”

“That's it? All day?”

“Mostly. We stop for lunch, and once a week if the weather's good we go back at night to use the big telescope.”

“And that's fun?” Everything Alberto knew about school was from Luca's letters, and Luca loved school. They read stories, learned history, did experiments, and looked at the stars – every day brought something new! But now Alberto was looking at Luca like he was crazy.

“Yeah, it's amazing!” Luca said with great enthusiasm. “Didn't you learn a lot today? We learned about the Great Door Crash.” He started counting things off on his fingers. “We learned that scream power works by vibrating the air molecules, so everything here runs on sound! And we learned that before they learned to get power by scaring kids, monsters would make machines run by roaring into them!”

“Why would we ever need to know any of that?” Alberto asked. “Nobody back home does things that way.”

“It's fun just to know it,” Luca insisted. “Don't you like knowing that plants are green because the green chemical helps them absorb sunlight, or that the evening star is a whole planet and has phases like the moon even though you need a telescope to see them?”

Alberto blinked at him, and Luca got a sinking feeling. If Alberto thought school was boring, did that mean he didn't like Luca's letters?

“You don't go to school?” Harry asked with a frown.

“Nope!” Alberto sat back with his hands behind his head. “That's Luca's thing.”

Now it was the monster boy's turn to look puzzled. “What do you do all day?”

“I work for my Dad,” Alberto replied. “My new Dad. My old Dad left, but I got a new one.”

That just confused Harry further. “How did you just get a new dad?”

“I moved in with him, and after a while he let me call him that.”

Harry gave them a sideways look with all five eyes. “Where are you guys from?” he wanted to know.

Saying the human world was clearly out of the question. Would Harry know where Portorosso or Genova or even the Ligurian Sea were? The map in the classroom hadn't shown anywhere familiar. Monsters clearly know how to get to the human world, though, so what if somebody tracked them down?

“Milano,” said Alberto.

“Yeah, Milano,” Luca agreed. He looked at Alberto, and Alberto shrugged. Apparently it was just the first place he'd thought of.

The very long black car drove them through the city and out into a neighbourhood with lots of trees and fences. A wrought-iron gate swung open by itself, and they headed up the drive to a house even bigger than Flatwoods Middle School. It was three storeys tall, surrounded by geometric gardens and carefully trimmed trees. It resembled a countryside villa, the sort of places Luca and Alberto had only seen pictures of. Harry cheerfully thanked Armstrong the chauffeur and scuttled up to the door. His guests followed, and before they reached the step, the butler was already there to answer it.

There seemed to be all kinds of monsters in this world and Luca was trying to act like that was normal – nobody seemed shocked by their appearances, so it would be rude to be surprised by anybody else. Even so, he couldn't stop a frightened squeak at what he saw next.

He had heard the word 'cadaverous' used to describe somebody who was very thin or pale, but the creature in the black suit that held the door for them literally looked like a dead body. It was huge and hunch-backed, with blue-grey skin, white hair, and blank white eyes. Making things even worse was that it was otherwise the most human-looking creature they'd met since Louise had dragged them through Rocco's closet door. If Luca had seen this come out of a closet, he'd have screamed enough to keep a whole city lit for a week.

“Hi, Schrecklich,” said Harry.

The butler nodded slowly, once, without speaking.

“This is Luca and Alberto,” Harry added.

Alberto stood up as straight as he could and grinned awkwardly, trying to look brave. Luca kept partially behind him, and waved.

“We're going in the pool,” Harry added.

Schrecklich nodded again, and turned his head to watch them go by. The boys walked fast and kept their eyes in front, not wanting to look directly at this terrifying creature. The door opened onto a big tiled hallway with intricate carpets on the floor and two flights of stairs leading up to the second level. The ceiling was as high as the third story, with balconies looking down and a stained glass dome at the top. From the centre of the dome hung a glittering crystal chandelier.

“I'm gonna go get my trunks,” Harry told them, as they stood staring at the room. “You can head out back. Schrecklich will show you the way.” He headed up the left flight of stairs.

The boys swallowed and turned to the butler, still not wanting to meet his empty, staring eyes. Schrecklich grunted, and gestured for them to follow him.

The rest of the house was as palatial as the foyer. They passed through half a dozen rooms stuffed with stylish furniture, with thick carpets on the floor and artwork on the walls. In one, a creature dressed as a maid was vacuuming. She had eyes on stalks, one of which turned to watch them go by, but when she saw they were with Schrecklich the butler, it rejoined its mate in keeping track of the cleaning.

Alberto tried very hard to look as if he were too cool to be impressed by this, keeping his lids half-shut and his head facing forward, but Luca could see him glancing around out of the corners of his eyes. Luca himself couldn't help but staring in amazement, and very nearly fell behind once or twice. Each time, as soon as he realized the others were getting ahead of him, he would run to catch up, because this house looked like a place somebody could get lost in and never find their way out. Sea monsters had an innate sense of direction that always told them which way was home, but that didn't help much in an actual maze.

At last the butler slid a glass door open, and they stepped out onto a multi-level wooden patio surrounded by flowers and palm trees. In one spot was an elaborate cushioned swing, in another a hammock, and on the lowest level was a firepit surrounded by comfy-looking ottomans. The centrepiece was a kidney-shaped swimming pool with a diving board, surrounded by beach chairs and sun umbrellas.

“Cool!” Alberto declared, and dived right in, clothes and all.

Luca paused before following him. “Thank you, Sir,” he said to the terrifying butler.

Schrecklich grunted again, and turned and went back inside.

Entering the pool brought on an immediate sense of relief. As long as Luca and Alberto were actually in the water, they wouldn't have to worry about being seen drying out. For the moment, at least, they were safe.

“Can you believe how rich these people are?” Alberto asked, kicking water at Luca with one flippered foot. “I bet they've got a whole fleet of Vespas!”

“Harry did say his dad owns the factory,” Luca said. If the screams were the only source of power, and the factory provided all the screams, that made sense. Luca wondered again about electricity. Where did it come from? Were the humans who provided it rich like this, or did it work totally differently? “I hope he can get us in without getting caught.” They hadn't seen much of it but the factory looked pretty big. Were they going to be able to find Rocco's door again?

“He'll do anything we want,” Alberto said confidently. “We promised to show him two humans, remember?”

“You promised,” said Luca, still not sure about that plan.

“We'll be home in no time,” said Alberto, floating on his back. “Until then, we get to hang out in this palazzo!”

Luca had other things on his mind. “I wonder what people back home are thinking. I mean. Signora Marsigliese would have heard us all shouting and she must have come in and we were just gone.” He hadn't thought of that yet... now that he did, it made him want to panic. “Mom and Dad are gonna be freaking out. And Massimo...”

Alberto must not have thought of this either. He stood up with his feet on the bottom. “You think so? Yeah...” he looked uncharacteristically thoughtful. “Yeah, he'll be looking for me.” Luca had told him how Massimo had gone to search for Alberto when he'd run off after their argument, and Alberto had told him what had happened after the boat caught fire.

The glass door slid open again, and Luca and Alberto looked up to see Harry scuttling out onto the patio. He hadn't worn any trousers earlier, but now he had blue swim trunks made to accommodate his many legs. Around his waist was a colourful, tyre-shaped inflatable thing, like a malformed beach ball. When he hopped into the water, it kept him buoyant, and he paddled over to them.

“So when do I get to see these humans?” Harry asked.

Luca looked at his friend. This had been Alberto's idea.

“Tomorrow,” said Albert. “Once you get us back into the factor.

Harry nodded and smiled, showing off teeth even sharper than the sea monsters'. “I figured,” he said. “That's what you hid there, isn't it? The humans? Right?”

Something in Luca's chest tightened. This had already been a bad idea and now he felt like it was getting worse. What was Harry going to think if he figured it out? Or worse, what if he didn't believe they could show him a human, and just threw them out? Luca had never been very good at lying. It was too hard to remember what he'd lied about and make sure it all made sense together, and his mother was too good at finding those holes.

“Um, yes,” Alberto decided. “Yes, they are, and we'll show you tomorrow.”

“I knew it!” Harry said triumphantly. “Why did you bring humans into our world? You must know they're dangerous.” The words were reproachful, but the tone was intrigued.

“They're not, though,” said Luca, desperate to tell the truth about something. “All those things people were saying in class, that they're venomous or will shock you or make you sick, none of that is true.”

“It isn't? How do you know?” Harry asked.

“Because we hang out with humans all the time,” said Alberto. “Some of our best friends are human. My Dad is human. My new Dad. My old dad was a sea monster.”

“I go to school with humans,” Luca agreed.

“And that's... normal?” Harry couldn't believe what he was hearing.

“Um.” Now Luca hesitated. “Not exactly.”

“It's not really common,” Alberto said. “We're from just about the only place where humans and sea monsters get along.”

“In Milano,” said Harry.

“Yes, Milano,” Luca agreed.

“Will you take me there?” Harry asked.

“Well...” Faltering for the first time, Alberto looked at Luca for help.

Luca shook his head. “I don't think so.” It was a bad idea for many reasons, but he picked the one he thought Harry was most likely to agree with. “I don't know if we'd be able to get you back. The lady who found us, Louise, she said they would have to review the door we came in by. So they might get rid of it. It's not worth the risk.”

Harry, however, was not worried at all. “I know where they keep the doors for review. It'll be easy to find it. We'll just wedge it open. They can't deactivate an open door. There are safety protocols.”

Luca tried again. “The humans will be scared of you. You're not like the monsters they know.”

“Giulia's cool,” Alberto offered. “We'll just tell her Harry's a friend of ours, and she'll be fine.”

“Yeah, but it's not Giulia's house,” Luca pointed out. “It's Signora Marsigliese's house, and it's Rocco's room.”

“We'll figure it out,” Alberto said.

Maybe Alberto was just stringing Harry along. They did very much need for this boy to keep being nice to them. Once they got back to the factory, they could find a way to ditch him. Luca would feel bad about that, but taking Harry to Portorosso would be such a disaster, it actually made him feel a little sick.

- Aqua and Miki were in the bridge with Kazuma, watching the status of the ship quietly.

- With an insane look in her eye, she swam away.

- Megumin was inside the cave and found a small red-plant like creature.

- The plant revealed an eye, which made Megumin jump.

- A creature with a giant eye made an unholy noise as it bolted towards Megumin.

- Aqua purified the mushroom and looked at it curiously.

- Kazuma and the group saw Darkness getting bitten by some shark-like creature.

- She punched it so hard it flew into the nearby coral tubes, splitting it apart as if it were paper.

- The fish began to swarm Aqua, which eventually led to those same shark creatures headed her direction.

- The predators began to bite Aqua.

- Kazuma began swearing loudly and incoherently as he brought up his knife and tried to save Aqua as Megumin and Darkness took care of the exploding fish being drawn to Aqua.

(Sharon) “Welcome back, Master Satou.”

(Kazuma) “Ugh…”

- Kazuma flopped onto the lifeboat’s floor, dragging up Megumin, Aqua and Darkness.

- Sharon helped them up and calmly got a towel while Kazuma continued to groan.

(Sharon) “May I ask what you have found?”

- Kazuma reached into his pocket and put them near Sharon’s feet.

- A fish, several teeth from the shark-like fish, some acid mushrooms, and 1 piece of titanium.

- Altina drove the Seamoth forward while the rest of Class VII tagged along on their seagliders.

- Juna kept looking around left and right until Kurt spoke.

Garreg Mach Students getting used to the ocean

The Garreg Mach students flew out on their seagliders around the safe shallows, being instructed to grab whatever copper they could find.

Sitri followed them since everyone who had been here before was required to stick with a group.

Not to mention she had been here with Byleth before.

(Elizabeth) “Ugh, this is quite unpleasant…”

(Helena) “What, don’t like the ocean?”

(Elizabeth) “Helena, dear. I enjoy the ocean as much as any girl would-”

(Kairos) “Could’ve fooled me.-”

(Elizabeth) “Shut up, Kairos. And I like walking near the beach, and even swimming. But living inside it and fighting nature? No, I do not like it at all.”

(Stefan) “Y-Yeah this is a bit much for swimming.”

(Astrid) “Least we’re all getting our exercise!”

(Kairos) “…Sure.”

(Helena) “It’ll give us experience in case we ever need to swim underwater.”

(Elizabeth) “Where in Fodlan do we possibly need to swim?!”

(Helena) “With all the places the House keeps dragging us into, it might be handy. Hell, it came in handy for Sitri.”

The group stopped swimming and looked at Sitri, who was gliding right behind them.

Zombies x Descendants crossover. Meeting each other. Villains and Zombies meeting and sympathizing with each other because OBVIOUSLY. Auradon and Seabrook...doing whatever they do.

Oh I definitely have Thoughts.

And unfortunately, you all have to see them too.

Let's say the Zombie protagonists are the same age as the Descendants protagonists, yeah?

The Zombies and the Isle kids definitely get eachother. Like, a lot.

That said, Addison is dragging about 99% of Descendants kids to therapy, personally. As she should, tbh.

The Zombies coach is utterly exactic because a lot of both Auradon and Isle boys end up playing football.

The pirates end up in cheer, though. I mean, it's shiny.

Also, turns out, the pirates (read: Harry and Uma) have the chronic inability to say „no“ to Addison Wells, Sunshine Personified.

As have the Werewolves.

Which is how the groups meet.

The wolf pack and the Lost Revenge crew gets locked in a staring contest in the locker room, mutually thinking something along the lines of „What the fuck is wrong with them??“. Some people might or might not have been bitten. Don't ask.

I need A-lli to meet Audrey Rose. Just. Them.

„I AM in harmony, just in like, a super-hostile way!“

„It's okay, deep breaths.“ *kicks the mothership*

They are allowed to have emotions for like two days and immediately choose violence and Iove them, your honour.

Audrey could also vibe with Bucky? Two flashy strong-headed cheer Captains? ...Then again, they might just try to kill eachother.

On the other hand, Harry meeting A-spen would be such a disaster.

„Such passion!“ „Dude, no. She wants to rip your heart out.“ „She can have it!“

And, you know. Everything Harry Hook has ever done. („Hey, she's the Captain I'm the first mate, enemies sea sick can't see straight. Call them fish bait, throw them on a hook, Uma's so hot they get burned if they look!“)

Uma and Wylla are having lots of fun though. (The most intense double dates you have EVER seen, once the pirates and the Werewolves get over their initial mutual, ehm, extreme distrust.)

Faciliers kind of. Try to find out if the Zombies can be controlled via voodoo magic? Like the risen-from-dead?

(It would be really funny if they could. And the sisters wouldn't exploit it. Too much.)

I think that some Isle kids are definitely low-key disappointed that the zombies don't eat real brains. Like, it's a scam, that's what it is.

Marya Rasputin still freaks out everyone when she casually pops off her hand at her wrist. („What?! I thought they all could do that!“)

Everyone is almost mortally offended that Seabrook has one (1) ice cream flavour.

Well, everyone except for Ben. He likes Vanilla. And Gil, who is just generally happy to have ice cream.

Evie and Eliza are definitely getting a little sabotage ✨ done and they are not getting caught.

Look, Seabrook might have gotten its redemption arc, but Auradon is far from it. And Eliza likes being a revolutionary.

Between Eliza, Wylla, Uma and Evie, King Beast decides to take a very sudden holiday, ideally very far from the sea and the forests.

Fairy Godmother decides to visit him about two weeks later, when all electricity in her house stopped working, the sprinkler system was on nonstop, the carnivores nearby went haywire and somehow, all of her food have gone bad. Oh, also a few fires, courtesy of the Hook sisters. Miraculously, as soon as the fires went on, the sprinklers went off.

(you know, a little sabotage? The girls are having fun.)

(I just want to make her suffer.)

The Aceys are dating and keep getting confused when upon learning this, the Isle kids solemly nod their heads and state: „Ah, yes. Mutually destructive threesome. We have all seen it.“

Cheerful Addy explains that „Don't worry, it's an Isle thing!“ and even more cheerful CJ tries to set up another double date. It does not go well.

Actually I think CJ would adore Addy too? I mean. Everyone loves Addy.

Mal is bitter over it and, like, she had it coming.

Oh, the Isle... Addison has so much to say about the Isle.

(She tracks down King Beast after about three days of his holiday, solely by asking people if they know where the former king is really nicely.)

I feel like she'd drag Ben out on, like, platonic dates? Hang out. Have fun. It was not right for teenagers to lead a revolution and it is not right for a teenager to be a king.

Surprisingly, I think that Mal should hang with Bonzo. Chill out. Spray paint a bit and zen away. It would be good for her. Bree brings them cookies.

They have guns, right? Because CJ is giving a gun to Eliza and Lonnie. A gift. She is practicing her Goodness, and Addy said gifts are a great way to get closer to people!

Just. Addison manages to befriend literally everyone?? And I love her??
