Warm hands cup the back of your nape. Firm, strong strokes of Donnie's thumb trace either side of your spine, his beak pressing to the crown of your head as he hovers behind you where you're standing at the counter, waiting for your kettle to whistle.

"I'm okay," you protest at first, though you hear the scratch in your throat that betrays even your own voice to your ears; judging from the hum that rumbles in his chest, you know you're busted. "Just a little sore throat, that's all."

A cool hand presses to your forehead, checking your temperature. You close your eyes; it feels good, always, when he touches you. But this quiet love feels even better. How he could, of course, lower his goggles and get a perfect reading of your temperature, but doesn't, because this is more intimate and that's how he likes to be, with you.

"I don't feel a fever," he says, and you hear the click of his goggles sliding into place. Unable to stop yourself, you smile; he hadn't been able to resist being too careful when it's your health after all. "Mm, little tiny bit. Nothing to worry about, though."

You open your mouth to say I told you so, but before you can, his hands grip on your shoulders right where he knows it feels incredible. Lips parted, they do nothing to hold back the embarrassing trill of a moan that comes out, prompting you to slap a hand to your mouth as if you can force it back in.

Donnie just gives a knowing hum to the side of your throat, his plastron pressing to your back as he sidles up close, his fingers pressing and molding your flesh. "You're going to hide them from me?"

"It's—embarrassing," you grit through clenched teeth, though your jaw falls slack when he trails his beak up the side of your throat and presses soft little kisses to your skin there.

"They're pretty," he argues softly, rolling his thumbs down to your shoulder blades, down, down to the sides of your spine where you can never reach yourself just above your bra hooks. "They let me know I'm doing a good job."

"You're doing an incredible job," you gush, palms finding the surface of the counter as your knees go a little weak. He steps in closer, letting his thighs press against the back of yours—not pinning you to the counter so much as just giving you something firm, something solid to rest against.

"Lean on me, sweetheart," he murmurs into your ear, the sound of his tongue rolling over his lips wet in your ear. "Let me take care of you."

It's always easy to give in to Donnie's wishes. You close your eyes, letting him slide his hands down to the hem of your shirt, sliding his palms underneath to stroke long, firm lines along your back. Little swirls of pleasure dance beneath the surface of your skin, one thousand little wakes that result from each tremor he draws forth.

"...Feels good," you slur out, feeling drunk, feeling drugged, only half-feeling the way he unclips your bra so he can press his huge palms to the flat of your back unhindered.

"Good," he responds, his mouth wet at the dip of your shoulder, his teeth gliding over your skin until it sinks into its familiar home at the base of your neck. Gently, just a little, he clamps down, just enough that your thighs squeeze shut and you're tempted, a little, to ask for more.

Before you can, the screaming whistle of your kettle draws you out of the honeyed bubble of his hands. Sulkily, you reach over and turn off the gas, squawking a little when you feel your bra lose beneath your shirt.

"Really, Purple?" you huff, shooting him a raised eyebrow. "C'mon. Do me back up. I've still got a couple more hours of work to get to."

Donnie leans against the counter, folding his arms as you pour yourself yet another pot of tea. Feeling the mischievous energy wafting off of him, you reluctantly meet his gaze.

"I... may have a better proposal for what we could do with it," he says, lips going a little crooked in that dorky grin he always gives when he's looking to eat you out for a while. You feel your blood heat, your skin fluster, and you can see in his eyes he knows he has you.

"Don, no, I have to work—"

"—it'll just take forty five minutes, maybe an hour."

TANAKA APPRECIATION DAY STARTS NOW

-THIS WHOLE EPISODE ABOUT HIM IS PERFECTLY WRITTEN, THE IMPACT IS BEAUTIFUL, AND I HAVE GROWN TO LOVE HIS CHARACTER SO MUCH MORE.

-TANAKA DOESN'T GIVE UP. that thought alone seems boring when you read it just like that, right? but this episode, ugh, man. it surfaced a whole new concept, you'd think the character was a genuine human, a real person from this world.

-how, exactly? let's start with the things that happened to Tanaka-senpai. ‘‘embarrassment. failure. yet despite that-you refused to give in, and you constantly repeated that in your mind. yet you still ended up getting even more disappointed than you initially were. nothing was going smoothly, and you didn't know why. 'it's okay. i'll keep going, it'll be alright.' you result to self encouragement, because it really isn't the time to feel down, just stay positive. force yourself to be.’’ was the type of situation he was in. normally, a person would give in to the despair, the negativity their mind kept bringing to them. because, i mean, what else could they do? everything was going wrong right in front of their eyes. and when they tried bringing themselves up again, their own teammate refused to help. getting them to toss to you after you called for one could've been the chance to redeem yourself, but no, it didn't. in a normal situation, you'd think ‘okok they might have a plan/they prolly have a better chance at scoring’ or ‘psh maybe next time.’ or even go ‘asjdjfjfj that was embarrassing!’ pretty much any thought, usually it wouldn't give a huge impact to you, and you're able to brush it off after a couple minutes then focus on the game again. but if its like the situation Tanaka was in? completely different scenario. it's likely to give more than a stab to your morale. could even serve as the final blow. even Bokuta-san knew this, as seen from how he passed out afterwards watching them. (maybe it's due to the relief that karasuno scored, tho his attention mostly focused on Tanaka, as once again shown from his reaction after Tanaka earned a point. plus the fact that he was aware of how he, himself would act if he's in Tanaka's position.) but, did that 'deal the final blow'? did it finally make him give up? nope, it didn't. (part of the credit goes to our sunshine child Shoyo, thank hEAVENS for this angel.) and even if Shoyo wasn't there to encourage him, i doubt he would've acted differently. it takes such an impossible amount of mental strength to survive those kind of life difficulties, moreover in sports. s p o r t s, where one mistake could ruin everything. and Tanaka-san had that strength. it merely showed it's pique on the very end, but he had it from the very beginning. hence, again, i doubt a different outcome—and i find that so so beautiful, bc honestly, let's be realistic here. not a lot of people could do that. they may try, but they can only reach so far before giving in. Tanaka was one of those rare gems, and this episode was incredibly inspirational about it. i just can't say that enough. it's anime, fictional. yet the emotions, the struggles and how it was depicted were more than on point, and that's why it's capable of such impact. hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh-

-i dare say more; let's move onto his quotes. “i'm nothing but average. but still, my average self.. do you really have time to look down like that?” ohmygod. this needs to be my life motto. Tanaka-senpai you outstandingly positive man, i crave for his attitude-his viewpoint, way of dealing with sitautions and everything. it's so cool and awesome and just aAAAAA, how?! how is one capable of such thoughts?? please teach me. i beg of you. “i'm pretty sure i'm a normal human being. especially when it comes to my build and abilities. when i was a kid, i was convinced i was a genius. i might've thought that until i was in middle school. actually, i'm still sorta convinced that i am. but i'm probably never going to be 180cm tall. i'm confident in my athletic skills. but on our volleyball team, i'm not number one in anything at this point in time. but that's not a reason to quit, nor is it an excuse.” i'm screaming. just slapped the perspective and words i've longed to hear. what an ace, Tanaka-senpai deserves that title so much. it fits so perfectly. “as long as i keep trying until i can do it... i can actually do it!” yes, thank you, Tanaka-senpai, Furudate-sensei, for proving that giving up is just an illusion of success. once you've tried enough and you can finally do it, you've finally done it. it's possible.

I REPEAT, TANAKA RYUUNOSUKE DESERVES SO MUCH APPRECIATION. HE'S SUCH A BEAUTIFULLY WRITTEN CHARACTER, AND WE ALL SHOULD SHOWER OUR LOVE TO HIM.

You were sat in the dorm’s common room, a book in your lap as you mindlessly flipped through the pages. You didn’t notice when someone sat next to you, your mind elsewhere, completely submerged in your thoughtless head. You felt a hard poke jab against your rib cage, startling you.

“Ow-! Bakugou, what the fuck.” You pouted, rubbing your side dramatically. You didn’t realize he sat next to you. Since when did he ever want to sit next to you? The thought confused you, he never initiated conversations. You thought this was a gift from some divine spirit watching you from above. 

The boy rolled his eyes, his finger pointing accusingly in your face. “I’ve been calling your name for like 5 minutes, dumbass. I can’t believe you couldn’t hear me.” He scoffed, though his eyes were soft as he stared at you. You didn’t think you’d ever seen him look at you like that. Your stomach erupted with butterflies.

You scrunched your eyebrows in thought. Since when has Bakugou had the patience to sit and wait for someone to notice him? Usually he’d be asking for everyone’s attention without any further notice. This was new, what’s his motive? Does he want something from you? You bit your lip, delving yourself back into your own head.

“Yo! Y/N, I’m talking to you, fuck.” His tone suggested anger but his face still held a softness to it that had your mind reeling. You wanted to beat him up. With kisses. 

“Why though?” It didn’t hurt to ask, especially since the situation was so foreign to you.

The boy’s face suddenly turned a rosy hue, his lips set in a straight line while he silently appraised you. Your furrowed eyebrows deepened ass you took the flushed boy in. You don’t think you’ve ever seen him like this. You thought it was cute. And frankly, kind of annoying. No one was allowed to be that cute while simultaneously be so infuriating.

A thought popped into your mind, causing a smirk to rise devilishly onto your lips. 

“Oh, Bakugou, is there something you want to tell me?” You teased, taking a turn to poke into his rib cage. Bet he didn’t like that. Payback’s a bitch, huh.

“Hah? I ain’t got nothin’ to tell you, dumbass.” His face was even redder than before, this hands quietly fidgeting while he desperately tried to avoid eye contact. 

“I think I know your little secret, my poor, poor blasty.” Your smirk turned into a full blown smile, your finger risking another poke to his side. The poor boy was tongue tied, you couldn’t believe the state he was in. You wished you could record the whole endeavor so everyone could finally see Bakugou Katsuki in such a state.

“Oh yeah? Well tell me since you know so fuckin’ much.” 

“Yeah, I know why you’re acting so weird. I’ve got you alllll figured out. You run that All Might fanpage on Twitter, right? Ugh, my mind. I’m too smart. You can grovel at my feet now so I can keep your cute little secret.”

He was quiet for a minute. Like, frighteningly quiet. For a minute, you thought you had gone to far and wanted to take all your dumb small brain words back but it was too late. He looked like he was about to explode any minute.

“Are you fucking kiddin- no you idiot I fucking LIKE you. What the fuck.”

You stared at him. Your brain running a million miles a minute. Did he say what you thought he just said? Your ears weren’t deceiving you? Well, now you felt like a damn fool. What in the ever living heck were you thinking when you confidently declared he was the All Might twitter fanboy. You were embarrassed, to say the least. But also incredibly flattered.

“Awww,” You cooed, trying to fend off your obvious embarrassment by trying to fuel his. “Little blasty likes me??” You reached over to ruffle his hair but he suddenly stood, already making a grand escape.

“Oi, if you don’t like me back just say it, I don’t have time for this shit.” Your brain went into hyper drive, already deciding you were a dumb bitch and forcing you to follow quickly in his heels. You slammed into his back, your arms wrapping possessively around his waist.

“Noo, Bakugou, baby, it was a prank don’t be like this. I like you too! Please, I’m sorry for having half a brain cell.”

He clicked his tongue, his head turning to address you. “I guess that’s what I like about you, dumbass.”

Todoroki Shouto:

You were scrolling through your Twitter timeline while walking through campus, your attention fully occupied by the device in your hand. You were silently snorting to a thirst tweet by Kaminari when you suddenly bumped into something- or someone. You squealed in surprise, clutching your phone so you wouldn’t yeet it across campus.

“T-Todoroki! I’m so sorry, oh my goodness-” You were a blubbering mess, trying to apologize profusely while also not drool over the boy clad in his black turtleneck.

He smiled slightly, cutting you off. “Don’t worry about it, Y/n. I actually wanted to.. Talk to you about something.” His voice was smooth and quiet, making you weak in the knees. Damn this man. Damn him all to hell.

“Oh, sure, yeah. What about?” You pocketed your phone, wanting to give the boy your undivided attention. It’s what he deserves.

He scratched at the back of his neck, averting his gaze somewhere behind you. You were confused, but still kept quiet as he gathered his thoughts. The most you would do was give him your undivided attention. Not like it was a difficult task, that boy was foine.

You had been feeling like Todoroki had been acting sort of weird whenever you were around him. He’d never fully look you in the eye or address you directly. He seemed like he was nervous about something. Or hiding something. You just couldn’t figure out what or why. 

“Not to like, rush you or anything but, what’s going on?”

His cheeks turned pink, surprising you monumentally as you stared up at the taller boy. In all you interactions with him, you’ve never seen him once get flustered. He’s definitely hiding something.

“Oh my gosh, Todoroki, is this what I think it is?!” You yelled, taking his hand and shaking it about wildly. The flush spread from his cheeks to down his neck, disappearing behind the delectable turtleneck of his. “I can’t believe it- I’ve had my suspicions but I never thought you’d actually tell me! I’m truly honored to know your the person behind that famous All Might fan account on Twitter. Gosh, it was so obvious!”

Todoroki scrunched his eyebrows cutely, a small but confused smile growing on his lips. 

“Excuse me what? That’s not at all what I was going to say.”

His hand finally gripped yours, you didn’t notice you were still shaking his hand, and he brought it up to his chest. You could feel his erratic heartbeat once he finally made eye contact with you.

“Y/N… I like you.. I’ve liked you for a while and.. I just thought you should know.” His voice was so quiet you weren’t sure if you could hear him right. But his grip on your hand and the blush on his face couldn’t be any more obvious tells of his confession.

You felt your heart swell up in happiness as a big grin spread across your face.

“Oh my gosh, you dork, I like you too! I feel kinda dumb now for assuming you were that Twitter page.” If the Earth could open up a hole underneath you and swallow you up, you honestly wouldn’t mind.
