I feel like they all would in their own ways, through how they set the example of behaving with/treating you, making sure they understand how boundaries work and that no means no etc. Pope probably takes the most Teacher-y/educational route, but they all definitely lead by example and answer questions their kids have about the topic of feminism with honesty and room for them to ask more questions and follow their curiosity 🫠🧡

thank you! I honestly am still thinking about writing it just for funsies so far I haven't gotten much farther then casually looking for potential examples like bearded vultures, hermit crabs, a few insects, decorator crabs, some birds and so forth

honestly that seems to be the hard part so far since I wanna exclude organisms that modify for strictly camouflage (which puts the hermit crabs on shaky ground) or otherwise forced reasons (so lizards shedding tails and cats and dogs overgrooming are also out) or as a natural part of their life cycle (so caterpillars and butterflies are mostly out too).

Basically the criteria is that the modification(s) must be done at will using the natural environment and/or the organisms own self; the modification(s) cannot be an inborn ability (ie tail shedding in lizards, molting feathers in birds, color changes in cephalopods and chameleons etc), if the means to preform the modification is removed then ability to eat, move, and defend oneself will not also be removed or impaired beyond recovery (ie hermit crabs changing shells, tail shedding in lizards, self amputation in various animals when caught in traps)

I'm not excluding modifications involving courtship since that seems ridiculous.
