It's been a long, but worthwhile journey.

I Can’t Possibly See The Bigger Picture From Here
That’s Why I Have Faith
Even When Something Goes “Wrong”
I Know It’s in My Favor
You Won’t Always See What You Are Being Protected From

I embrace an open mind and higher perspective on all situations in my life
I am curious as to what is really the motivation behind my actions & open to growth and solutions
I understand my outer world reflects my inner world
I am relieved to know that all that is real is this present moment
I am relieved to know that my worth as a human being does not fluctuate based on anything external
I give myself positive loving attention through healthy habits that nurture my sense of calm and well being
I release attachment to the illusion of controlling anything external
I cultivate self control
I recognize my place in the universe and flow in harmony with it

All things end.
All things begin.
All things are infinite.
Existence is a contradiction.

Draw for September 2nd.
I know I missed yesterday. I drew a card, but didn't have the energy to post about it.
Today this card is helping me work through a couple if different situations. Recently I uprooted my whole world, left a bad relationship, moved two hours away from everything and everyone I knew. I've been questioning myself a lot on that.
The other situation has to do with understanding new relationships. I don't want to get into that just yet. But I needed the reminder to keep an open mind, to remember to try and look at things from a higher perspective

If you want to change the world… love a woman, just one woman. Love and protect her, as if she’s the last holy vessel. Love her through her fear of abandonment; which she has been holding for all of humanity.
No, the wound’s not hers to heal alone.
No, she’s not weak in her dependence.
If you want to change the world… love a woman
all the way through, until she believes you,
until her instincts, her visions, her voice, her art, her passion, her wildness have returned to her-
until she’s a force of love, more powerful
than all the political media demons who seek to devalue, and destroy her.
If you want to change the world, lay down your causes, your guns, and protest signs. Lay down your inner war, your self righteous anger, and love a woman… beyond all of your striving for greatness, beyond your tenacious quest for enlightenment. The holy grail stands before you, if you would only take her in your arms,
and let go of searching for something beyond this intimacy.
If you want to change the world… love a woman
to the depths of your shadow, to the highest reaches of your Being, back to the Garden, where you first met her; to the gateway of the rainbow realm where you walk through together as Light as One, to the point of no return, to the ends and the beginning of a New Earth.

ROBOT!!! This one was a huge undertaking- I'm really happy with the final result though!!
I ended up combining the blue and green palettes; it felt like the best of both worlds- and it kind of ends up looking more green in the end anyway, so I feel like I'm honoring the spirit of the green palette winning the poll.

I don't stress about the little things because, in the bigger picture, they're simply pieces that make up the whole. Pieces that I love and appreciate.

"Is suffering really necessary?
Yes and no. If you had not suffered as you have, there would be no depth to you as a human being, no humility, no compassion. Suffering cracks open the shell of the ego and then comes to a point when it has served its purpose. Suffering is necessary until you realize that it is unnecessary."
~Eckhart Tolle
