word of advice to anyone planning to visit Scotland bring sunglasses not because it's sunny or anything the Scottish just reflect light like highvis jackets on the M90 at midnight

Thinking about the constant inconvenience for women of sports/work clothes always being uncomfortable due to male cut clothes being considered unisex. My highvis work jacket and vest are male cut, so I have to have a much larger size that I should to make it able to close. It hangs off my shoulders and squeezes my hips and stomach making the pockets difficult to use. Going a size up would make it too large to stay on me, a size down and I wouldn't be able to close it over my chest even if I was able to get the zip in at the bottom.

The work overalls I have for spraying work are the same, extremely tight around my thighs and bum, loose and baggy around the shoulders. I have to stretch and bend in this clothing when I'm climbing up to the tractor platform.

(Not to mention I have twice injured my shoulder due to the straps of the spray knapsack being too wide for my frame. Work had to dig out some older smaller ones just because they had slightly closer straps)

Work buys unisex clothing of multiple sizes and expects that to actually be unisex but it's not. Most shops only have a single style for women that doesn't cover my needs.

My mum got a cycling jacket which leaves angry red lines on her stomach and hips and constantly rides up because it is male cut, but she when she tried to replace it with a size up it is ridiculously baggy at the top and won't stay on.

My sister was given a branded running rain jacket that she can't zip up over her hips.

I got a unisex puffer jacket for outdoors activity as a gift that I can't do up because it doesn't account for women having boobs.

Why is the world of unisex clothing so constantly painful??
