week one taking portraits 50mm iso 100 shutter speed 1/60ss and aperture f2.8 lens 50mm f1.8 the depth of field using a shallow depth of field.
I used the mirror within the lift for a reflection shot and i focused on the model's face to give the blur however i also wanted the reflection to be in focus. Capturing this shot was quite hard due to shooting through glass and also focus has to be on the model face to achieve the focus of the face.
i really like the shallow depth of field within the image and i was able to be creative i knew lots of people would do the same thing in a standard straight-on shoot of the model and blur the background and i want to try and be creative whilst achieving the same outcome to show a shallow depth of field.
thank you Damon for modeling

The chapel of Mount Stuart House
All the marble for the house was imported from mainland Italy / Scicily
The Chapel’s Cosmati flooring is typical of the architecture of Medieval Italy. The same style can be found in the Sistine Chapel and Westminster Abbey.

This week (week 2) working with aperture priority and depth of field our assignment was to show the different depths of field with different members of 'the band' being in focus or out of focus. This is a quick example. The full range will follow
