Ways to practice eco-friendly living in your home
1. Reduce energy consumption:
- Install energy-efficient appliances and LED light bulbs.
- Turn off lights and unplug electronics when not in use.
- Use natural light as much as possible.
- Set your thermostat to a lower temperature in winter and higher in summer.
- Insulate your home properly to reduce heating and cooling needs.
2. Save water:
- Fix any leaks in faucets and toilets promptly.
- Install low-flow showerheads and faucets.
- Collect rainwater for watering plants.
- Only run the dishwasher and washing machine with full loads.
- Use a broom instead of a hose to clean outdoor spaces.
3. Practice waste reduction:
- Recycle paper, plastic, glass, and metal.
- Compost kitchen scraps and yard waste.
- Opt for reusable products instead of disposable ones (e.g., cloth napkins, rechargeable batteries).
- Avoid single-use plastics, such as plastic bags and water bottles.
- Use a reusable shopping bag.
4. Use eco-friendly cleaning products:
- Choose natural, non-toxic cleaning products or make your own using ingredients like vinegar, baking soda, and lemon juice.
- Avoid products containing harmful chemicals that can harm the environment and your health.
5. Grow your own food:
- Plant a garden to grow vegetables, fruits, and herbs.
- Use organic and natural fertilizers instead of synthetic ones.
- Compost food scraps to enrich the soil.
6. Opt for sustainable materials:
- Choose furniture made from sustainable materials like bamboo or reclaimed wood.
- Use eco-friendly flooring options like bamboo, cork, or reclaimed hardwood.
- Select paint and other finishes that have low or no volatile organic compounds (VOCs).
7. Reduce plastic waste in the kitchen:
- Use glass or stainless-steel containers for food storage instead of plastic.
- Replace plastic wrap with beeswax wraps or reusable silicone covers.
- Use refillable water bottles and avoid buying bottled water.
8. Conserve energy in the kitchen:
- Use energy-efficient appliances.
- Cook with lids on pots and pans to retain heat and reduce cooking time.
- Opt for smaller appliances like toaster ovens instead of full-sized ovens when possible.
9. Encourage sustainable transportation:
- Use public transportation, walk, or bike whenever possible.
- Carpool or arrange a car-sharing service with neighbors or colleagues.
- Transition to an electric or hybrid vehicle if feasible.
10. Educate and involve your family:
- Teach your family about the importance of eco-friendly practices and involve them in the decision-making process.
- Encourage everyone to adopt sustainable habits and lead by example.
- Discuss environmental issues and brainstorm new ideas for greener living.

Welcome to Corvus Luna Creations!
Here at Corvus Luna, I make hand-made, custom and themed crystal bracelets, with more materials and designs being added frequently.
A Bit About CLC's Products
Apart from some pre-designed or single-material bracelets, all items are made-to-order, allowing you to get precisely what you want. With over 100 (at current count, estimated to be 127) materials, ranging from Afghan Jade to Yellow Tiger Eye, there is bound to be something to catch your fancy.
Are CLC Beads Real Crystal?
All beads, with the exception of a handful, are natural crystal, though some are enhanced (such as K2 Jasper) or dyed (such as the many colors of chalcedony). However, all are, at their core, natural crystal. Unless marked, I do not sell man-made 'crystals', as I believe them to have no innate 'powers'. However, due to demand, a handful of man-made beads are included in my stock, such as opalite, goldstone and imperial jasper. All beads that are in any way synthetic or altered from their natural state are marked as such, with all the information I can provide. If not marked they are, to my knowledge, entirely natural.
Why Regular and VIP?
Some beads are classed as VIP, meaning that they are of a higher quality and purity than the standard beads provided. This does not indicate inferiority of one or superiority of the other, to my mind, but rather a different form of the material. For example, VIP Black Tourmaline contains no inclusions, whilst regular Black Tourmaline contains inclusions of quartz and other minerals. Both are equally beautiful, but due to its rarity and purity, VIP does incur a slightly higher cost.
Are There Just Bead Bracelets?
Nope! Whilst, for the moment, bracelets are the focus, I do have the facility to make keyrings and, potentially, chokers and necklaces (though the latter two do need a little more practice). I do also have a selection of pendants available which can be incorporated onto a beaded project or are available on chain or cord. Pictures will be posted as soon as available. I also have several rings available as well as the facility to create anxiety rings in any of the materials I provide (once listed, the anxiety fidget rings shown serve as an example of what style I can make). For those interested in raw chips bracelets, I do have a handful of chip varieties available, and will be gradually increasing stock if demand warrants.
You Said Themed. What's That?
Some of us like to wear jewelry that is designed to be devotional or commemorate our favorite game or show. That's precisely what the themed offerings are. Some are designed by myself and my team of highly creative friends, to be reminiscent of, for example, Lord of the Rings, Dungeons & Dragons, Narnia, AtLA, etc. Others may be created with certain deities in mind, such as Loki, Hades, Persephone, Poseidon, and others. If none of the pre-designed offerings catch your eye, or you would like something custom designed to match your choice, this is 100% what the 'hand-made custom bracelets' concept is all about: a bracelet made specifically with you in mind.
Wait, You Said Deities. Does That Mean Any Deity?
Absolutely. As an Omnist, I fully believe we all have the right to worship any deity or being we feel warrants it. My own pantheon is far-reaching and much too varied to list, but suffice to say whether you seek something for Artemis, Lucifer, Hestia, Buddha, Yahweh or any other, you are completely free to request it. This is a no-judgement zone, and if you wish for me to create your bracelet with prayers to your deity in mind while doing so, I will happily oblige.
Does 'No-Judgement' Really Mean NO Judgement?
Completely. As a member of multiple communities that may be considered 'out of the ordinary', I believe we all are equal, no matter our race, creed, orientation, gender, or illness. Ally bracelets, such as LGBT+, Autism Awareness, Breast Cancer Awareness, and any other cause you may believe in, are fully welcome here, as are those for any religion, band, etc. If you require something made that I can make, it is of no consequence to me what your background is. The fact that you are human is all that matters.
Okay, I Read This Far. How Much?
Firstly, thank you for your patience. It means a lot!
Second, please see my Etsy or Ko-Fi (which will be linked in my Resources page once said page is fully operational) for prices. You will no doubt notice that prices differ. This is because each has a slightly different method of functioning, and therefore a different cost. Please feel free to purchase from whichever you feel most comfortable with.
Please note that every order comes with freebies, so you will be getting more than just your bracelet. These range from worry stones to tumbles to 'confetti bags' (bags of crystal chips chosen to fit as well with your bracelet as possible) and more. Sometimes, there will even be wish bottles or charms!
Thirdly, if you do purchase: My deepest thanks to you. You are helping to support my dream to become an independent creator, something I have wanted to be for many years. If you are unable to purchase: My thanks to you for your time. I hope that you will share Corvus Luna with your friends so that the Raven may spread its wings and soar.

21 Questions to Ask Before, During & After a Home Inspection [INFOGRAPHIC]
A visually structured infographic outlines 21 key questions grouped into three phases relevant to home inspection. It includes icons that correlate to each question for intuitive guidance. The top of the infographic introduces the questions to ask before a home inspection, highlighting inquiries about the inspector's credentials, what's included in the inspection, and logistical details. The middle section focuses on questions during the inspection, touching on the house's condition, code compliance, and safety issues. The bottom section deals with post-inspection questions regarding repair priorities, additional inspections, and the report follow-up. The color palette is light and includes the logo of Gulf Coast Home Inspections.

Best Way to Automate Your Blogging (PPL NOT AI)
I recently found this guy on Linkedin who was promoting a company called ProfitNest. Normally I ignore this kind of thing because Linkedin is full of spammers offering services I don't want. But this particular company offers something I desperately needed as an affiliate marketer - a complete blogging service where they create the content AND publish it. Best thing about it, the post comes with unique images, 100% optimized for search, and custom Gutenberg block designs to promote products more effectively (I use WordPress).
You will never hear me pumping or promoting an affiliate link or product on tumblr, never. Except for this, as I believe this is the best way to invest in your business. Instead of paying a writer, editor, designer, etc. You get everything for cheap, $10 per post.
Don't sleep on this!!! https://profitnest.club

support your local sellers, don't just eat their stuff when it's free. we sellers, home business bakers don't need y'all to just tell us it's good and that we need to sell it. don't turn your backs when we finally put a price to our efforts. you don't get to decide the price of our products, effort, and exhaustion.
Tumblr media
we have a small community cooperative who wanted to host small bazaar of sorts. of course, nobody is obligated to sell anything. one of our neighbors decided to sell vegetables.
i, who have given away free samples of literally everything i have been baking/experimenting on for the last three years, thought this is a good idea to gather more customers or find opportunity even for giveaways since it's christmas. i already have a loyal customer base who always get half a dozen of these large cookies every now and then, and then more during christmas. so i thought, what's the harm? maybe someone will like these and buy some for gifting, right?
i made some half batches of cookies (cranberry and white chocolate 2USD/pc, dark chocolate and walnuts 2.5USD/pc, double chocolate 2USD, and snickerdoodles 1USD/pc) and three loaves of chocolate cake (8USD/pc). the cookies are 125g (4.4oz) each, and the cake as a whole with the ganache topping is about 400g (14oz by weight).
it doesn't sound like a lot, but it was a LOT of money for me.
i was there at the space provided for us from 2pm to 9pm. i sold like, 1 cake, and less than 10 cookies. all while loads of people were driving and walking by, and our community who have tried all of these baked goods i had been giving away during my r&d, are now all just walking past me, now that i had put a price on my baked goods.
i packed up at 9pm ready to throw away all this wasted money, these stale cookies. i was told to come back at 9am the next day and display all of it again. so i go home with all these cookies and cake.
i really was ready to throw it all away. i thought, i dont get a sale, nobody gets to eat. simple as that. if someone expects that i will give this away because i didn't get to sell it, NO. I WILL THROW IT AWAY. waste my time, and money, fine. nobody gets anything, but the real loser is me, because all these people have had my food but they only want it when it's free. how fuckin abusive is this community.
i did this because they asked, because they wanted the community to get together and know each other, but then they're only good at fucking opening their mouths and never really fuckin doing what they said they want to happen.
(the space is just a vacant lot we cleaned up)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
i came back the second day and put up shop at 930am. selling day old fuckin cookies what a fucking joke.
still nobody came by. and someone still had the audacity, who has had all free tastes to all r&d i've done, to tell me to lower my prices so that people will buy them.
like. i fucking make all of this alone. i have had to make so many orders during christmas sometimes i am STILL up and packing cookies when the church bells start to toll in the early morning.
sugar and flour are at all time high, and someone has the fucking audacity to tell me to sell at a lower price? then what's the point of building a business if i have to fucking lower the price and barely make a profit just so people would buy it? how about i don't fucking sell at all and never give you any r&d ever again?
i was only able to get the stocks down to one cake and five snickerdoodles because i posted online that cookies were available, and people who regularly bought from me messaged and said they wanted the stock.
my regulars were the ones to buy from me, not the community who wanted me to be here.
then later that night they wanted me to bring cake to this small potluck christmas party they had. i had to go because many people there were good friends of my parents (most of them have already bought from me) and most of them are the people i am close to in the community. i brought cake.
there were two cakes. one from a massed produced bakery, and mine, (probably a 9x13 sheet cake or larger). THE PEOPLE WHO WALKED BY FUCKING FINISHED MY ENTIRE CAKE AND BARELY ATE THE BAKERY ONE.
LIKE. WHAT??
they kept on complimenting me and stuff, told me to sell it, and all i said was thank you because im not here to be talking back, i just wanted to enjoy myself and my friends my age were there (who also have bought my stuff).
then my dad's good friend and who is also our attorney, who has bought a lot from me said, "if you think it's so good then buy it! she was at the stall the whole time and she had lots of it on display and you didn't buy any!"
i was like, burn, you old wrinkled bats. burn.
but i mean, i get it, business is business, and i can't win all the time. but it still hurts that the community who wanted me to sell my products, didn't want to buy it when i tried to sell it to them.
in the end, it's not this community who helped me recover my losses, but my regulars. i am never selling here again, unless they come to me and request it to my face, that they want to buy my products.
we sellers, home business bakers don't need y'all to just tell us that our food good and that we need to sell it. y'all need to buy our pastries, cakes and cookies, too, when we finally put a price to our efforts because you think it's too expensive. you don't get to decide the price of our products, effort, and exhaustion.
