These are my boys yesterday with their Sea Perch they built in 4H. It’s an underwater vehicle powered by a remote control. They spent hours learning how to use tools, work as team, solder and even about Archimedes principle. Yesterday was the first day they got to test it out in water with an obstacle course. They were over the moon and I couldn’t be prouder of all of their efforts.

His construction vehicle obsession is fading, but this still caught his eye on our evening walk. It prompted a brief discussion as to why they're digging (improving the sewers) and the role of the people who hold the STOP and SLOW signs on the street.
